Abstract

This research was conducted at Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama, located in Kerubung Jaya Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The problem in this study is the decrease in the level of sales and the failure to achieve the target for the past two years, this is allegedly due to problems in purchasing decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product diversity and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama. In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program. The sample of this study was 100 people from a population of 67,655 obtained from the calculation of Slovin formula. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire were then processed to then be tested through the SPSS 20. The testing of multiple linear regression analysis from this study was    Y = 4.113 + 0.537 X1 + 0.175X2. The research that has been done shows the results that respondents' responses to product diversity and service quality are in a good category while those with consumer purchasing decisions are in the category quite agree. While the t test that has been done shows that the variable product diversity and service quality partially have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. The results of the F test show that simultaneously variable product diversity and service quality have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. While the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.495. This shows that product diversity and service quality have an effect of 49.5% on consumer purchasing decisions on Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama, while the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Keywords: Product Diversity, Service Quality, Consumer Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and prices on purchasing decisions of Honda Scoopy motorcycles (Study at PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Motor Pekanbaru). Product quality as a variable (X1), Price as a variable (X2) and Purchase Decision as a variable (Y).The method in this study is quantitative with the SPSS program, where the sample used is motorcycle consumer Honda Scoopy at PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Motor Pekanbaru as many as 98 respondents. Techniques for collecting data through questionnaires and secondary data. The results of the analysis used the validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. The results showed that product quality partially affects purchasing decisions, prices partially influence purchasing decisions, so product quality and prices simultaneously have a positive effect on Honda Scoopy motorcycle purchasing decisions at PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Motor Pekanbaru.  Keywords: Product Quality, Price and Purchasing Decision

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. The Indonesian Trade Company concerning Pesticide Products located on Jl. Nuri No. 19, Sukajadi Pekanbaru Riau. The problem in this study is not achieving the company's sales target in the fourth year and the percentage of achievement of sales targets has decreased in the last three years, this is thought to be influenced by interest in repurchasing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and prices on the interest in buying back users of Pesticide products at Pt. Indonesian Trade Company. In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program. The population in this study were consumers who had purchased pesticide products, amounting to 1320 consumers. Samples taken based on the method using the Slovin formula are 93 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear analysis method and multiple linear analysis with results showing that service quality and price have a positive and significant effect on buying interest in pesticide products at PPI. With a simple calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) of service quality on repurchase interest obtained the value of R Square of 0.664 or 66.4% and the price of interest in repurchase obtained a value of 0.517 or 51.7 and the calculation of determination (R2) obtained by the value of R Square amounting to 0.665. This shows that service quality and price have an effect of 66.5% on the interest in buying back pesticide products at PT. PPI, while the remaining 33.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study Keywords: Service Quality, Price, and Interest in Repurchasing.
