Abstract

In this paper we report students? reversible reasoning types on function composition problem. Reversible reasoning can be observed according to operation and structural correlation among input, process, and result.  There are seven students participate in doing function composition related to structural correlation in (f?g)(x)=h(x), The researchers assume that there are four types of reversible reasoning in composition problem, namely: (1) reversible on composition; (2) reversible on function; (3) reversible on substitution; (4) reversible on variables. However, there are only two appearing reversible reasoning, they are: reversible on function and reversible on substitution. Each type were selected a subject to be interviewed for 25 minutes and asked to do the Function Composition Task (FCT). Subject with reversible on function type identifies structural correlation among input, source and result as well as involving inverse in input with permissibility (f(y)) to produce basic function (f(x)). Meanwhile, subject with reversible on substitution type, constructs result based on the input, identifies structural similarity and generalizes from the structural similarity to produce basic function.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether the effect of small-side games training on the ability of passing-stopping techniques to play futsal in Madani Integrated State Junior High School students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training on small-side games on the ability of passing-stoppage techniques to play futsal in Madani Integrated State Junior High School students. The method used in this research is the experimental research method with the pre-test design (initial test) and post-test (final test). The research sample consisted of 20 people. Data collection techniques in this study use tests. This type of test is a passing-stopping technique skill test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of training on small side games on the ability of passing-stopping techniques to play futsal on Madani Integrated State Junior High School students. The conclusion is that there is a significant effect of training on small side games on the ability of basic passing-stopping techniques to play futsal in Madani Integrated State Junior High School students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola interaksi siswa dalam belajar matematika berdasarkan kemampuan awal melalui pembelajaran kooperatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X1 SMA Negeri 1 Malili dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan mengawali pemberian tes kemampuan awal untuk menentukan subjek penelitian. Kemudian membentuk kelompok dan mengamati jenis interaksi yang dilakukan subjek penelitian selama empat kali pertemuan, serta melakukan wawancara terhadap subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa subjek kategori tinggi (ST) kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap teman sekelompoknya. Hal ini dikarenakan subjek kategori tinggi tidak begitu setuju dengan pembelajaran kooperatif yang beranggapan bahwa teman sekelompoknya sulit diajak berinteraksi. Subjek kategori sedang (SS) cenderung seimbang antara bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan serta berdiskusi dalam berinteraksi. Sedangkan subjek kategori rendah (SR) lebih aktif dalam berinteraksi dan lebih banyak memberikan kontribusi terhadap teman sekelompoknya. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah pembelajaran kooperatif yang memberikan ruang bagi subjek kategori rendah untuk berkomunikasi atau berinteraksi terhadap teman kelompoknya.
