Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran everyday mathematics terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Seluma Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan quasi experimental. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 4 Seluma pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan populasi seluruh kelas XI dan sampel kelas XI MIA1, XI MIA2, XI MIA3, dan XI IIS2. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematika antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran everyday mathematics dan konvensional setelah mengontrol kemampuan awal siswa dengan nilai p-value = 0,007<0,05, terdapat perbedaan komunikasi matematika antara siswa yang gaya kogniti Field Independent (FI), dan gaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD) setelah mengontrol kemampuan awal siswa dengan nilai p-value = 0,005<0,05, terdapat pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika setelah mengontrol kemampuan awal siswa dengan nilai p-value = 0,009<0,05, terdapat pengaruh linier kovariat kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika dengan p-value = 0,00<0,05, kemampuan awal siswa, Model Pembelajaran everyday mathematics  dan gaya kognitif secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika nilai p-value = 0,00<0,05.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to view the effect some crop extract as natural growth hormon towards pepper cutting growth, conduted in Bontomanai District of Selayar Island Regeny, during March ? May 2018. This experimental research used random group of environmental design by one factor treatment, without Growth hormone submersion, coconut water 50%, red onion extract 75%, moringa leaves extract 30%, sargassum seaweed extract 25%, cow urine 15%, and Growtone 12,5%. The data was analyzed based on the F (ANOVA) test and contrast test. Growth hormone Growtone using is better than compared to coconut water, red onion, moringa leaves, sargassum seaweed and cow urine in responding, peper cutting growth. Red onion extract 75% is better than moringa leaves extract and sargassum seaweed extract towards to components of pepper cuttings growth (budding period, number of buds, bud length, root volume and the percentage of living cuttings) coconut water 50% has effect on budding period of pepper cuttings and cow urine 15% has effect on leaf wide. Sargassum extract 25% has effect on number of leaves and leaf wide.

Abstract

The growth ofsoybean in wet land and dry land not always supported by optimal soil moisture conditions to high level production.  In the wet field saturated soil often found in the lower area until remain water irrigation cannot wasted to lower area.  Once effort of soybean cultivation in the saturated soil used variety which tolerance in saturated soil.The experiment was conducted in a  glasshouse at BALITSEREAL Maros,  from May 2013 until Sep 2013.  A completely randomized design 4 x 4 factorial arrangement with three replication was used.  The first factor is level soil moisture content, field capacity, 5% above field capacity, 15% above field capacity, 25% above field capacity, and the second factor is soybean varieties Wilis, Sinabung, Kaba and Dieng.Result showed there is no interactionbetweensoil moisture content and varieties to number of pods and seed weight.   Interaction caused treatment occurred to number of leaf, leaf area, total dry matter, dry weight nodules, crop growth rate, net assimilation rate, spesific leaf area, and leaf area ratio.  Treatment of soil moisture content which 5% and 15% above field capacity showed higher productivity than soil moisture content 25% above field capacity.  Varieties Sinabung and Kaba showed higher productivity than varieties Wilis and Dien.

Abstract

A lubricant is a liquid that is given between two moving metal objects to reduce the friction. Rubber seed oil is an oil that cannot be consumed because it is poisonous, so it has the potential to be a biolubricant. This research purposes to synthesize biolubricant by using rubber seed oil as raw material and determine the effect of oil and octanol mole ratio and reaction temperature to the biolubricant yield. This research was carried out in several stages: preparation of raw materials including extraction of rubber seed oil by pressing method, then continued by degumming process to purify the oil from the gum. Next, the esterification process to reduce of free fatty acid at the oil. Then, oil will be transesterification process with octanol to make biolubricant with variations of mole ratio oil : octanol was 1:3, 1:5 and 1:7 and variations temperature reaction of 150oC, 170oC and 190oC. This process was did for 6 hours by adding 3% (v/v) oil of NaOCH3 as a catalyst. The highest yield produced was 86,105%. The best biolubricant characteristics were produced at a mol ratio of 1: 5 and reaction temperature of 190°C with a density of 0.832 gr/ml, viscosity index 198.658, flash point 324oC, pour point 5oC and yield 84.357%.Keywords: biolubricants, rubber seed oil, octanol, transesterification

Abstract

Grease is a semi-solid lubricant that is given between two metal objects that move independently or one of the moving objects while the other is stationary with the aim of reducing friction. Grease is applied to industrial and automotive machinery. Rubber seed oil is non edible oil because it is toxic, so it has the potential to be a grease. This research aims to make grease using rubber seed oil, studying the effect of ratio mol metal LiOH:Ca(OH)2, as well as the effect of comparison of metal soap:base oil on the quality and characteristics of grease. The research stage is: raw material preparation includes extraction of rubber seed oil by pressing method, then degumming process using phosphoric acid (85%) 0.5% (w/w), temperature of 90oC, for 1 hour and centrifuge for 20 minutes. Then the process of making metal soap (thickening agent), 100 ml of rubber seed oil is heated to a temperature of 70oC, then added LiOH:Ca(OH)2 metal while stirring with a stirring speed of 650 rpm for 30 minutes. Furthermore, the process of making grease, rubber seed oil as a base oil is mixed with metal soap (thickening agent) according to predetermined variables. The mixing process was carried out at a temperature of 70oC then metal soap (thickening agent) was added to the reactor and stirred with a stirring speed of 650 rpm for 30 minutes, after the temperature of the mixture reached 120oC additives added 5% w/w and a stirring time of 3.5 hours. Then the grease test is carried out, namely the dropping point test based on ASTM D566 and the penetration test based on ASTM D217. The best results on the soap formula 90%:10% and the grease formula 75%:20%:5% obtained dropping point 145oC, penetration 240 (0.1 mm) and NLGI 3.Keywords: grease, rubber seed oil, dropping point test, penetration test

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa SMP N 11 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian adalah Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan quasi experimental. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan populasi seluruh kelas VIII dan  Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah 48 siswa, Kelas yang terpilih adalah  VIII. G  yang berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.H yang berjumlah 24 siswa  sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project dan konvensional setelah mengontrol kemampuan awal siswa sebesar 66,80%. Ada pengaruh linier kovariat kemampuan awal pemahaman konsep terhadap kemampuan akhir pemahaman konsep siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model CMP, sebesar 55,60%. Model pembelajaran CMP lebih baik dari pada yang diajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional dengan signifikan 0,0000 < 0,05.

Abstract

An experiment was done to study the effect of fermented cocoa pod shell flour on body weight, dry matter consumption, and feed efficiency of local sheep. The fermented flour was mixed in concentrate given to the sheep. Details of the feed ration were as follows : i) 0% fermented cocoa pod shell flour (CPSF) in concentrate + maize silage (ad-libitum), ii) 10% fermented CPSF in concentrate + maize silage (ad-libitum), iii) 20% fermented CPSF in concentrate + maize silage (ad-libitum). The was indications that the fermented CPSF concentration gave significant effect on feed efficiency (P=0,01). Higher concentration of fermented CPSF tended to be followed by higher body weight, dry matter consemption and feed efficiency. Key words : Cacao skim flour fermentation, concentrate and feed efficiency.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted with the aim of: 1) To observe growth and production of maize genotypes hybrid candidate early age, 2) Determine optimal spacing that will result in maximal production of genotype hybrid candidate early maturing and 3) To know interaction between maize genotypes hybrid candidate of early maturing and plant spacing. Research was conducted on dry land located in Bajeng, Gowa, South Sulawesi. Research was conducted from April to July 2017 using Split Plot Design method. As the main plot is the maize genotype consisting of 3 genotypes: ST201328, ST201359, ST201312 and varieties comparison Bima 7 while for sub plot is treatment the various spacing between two levels are: 60 cm x 20 cm and 50 cm x 20 cm. Treatment combination was repeated three times as a block to obtain 24 experimental units. The results of this research show that: 1) Maize genotype ST201328 is maize early maturing hibrid has appearance shortest plant, fastest flowering male age as well flowering female, smallest Anthesis Silking Interval (ASI), fastest harvest age and longer cob. Genotype ST201312 has appearance highest plant, greatest Anthesis Silking Interval, greatest Leaf Area Index and longest cob. 2) Plant spacing 50 cm x 20 cm obtained high Leaf Area Index and highest location cob. Average highest production dry seeds on plant spacing 50 cm x  20 cm for all maize genotypes tested. 3) Interaction that happaned between maize genotype ST201312`on plant spacing 60 cm x 20 cm obtained longest cob is 18,07 cm and differs markedly with varieties comparison Bima 7. Maize genotype ST201312 on plant spacing 50 cm x 20 cm obtained yield dry cheeks is amount 10,58 ton ha-1.Keywords: early maturity, genotypes, hybrid candidate,  maize, plant spacing, population

Abstract

Palm sludge is a by-product of the palm oil processing that is quite numerous and still contains nutrients that can be utilized as an alternative feed ingredient for poultry. However, high crude fiber content resulted in the utilization of alternative feed ingredients for poultry is limited. The fermentation process can increase nutritive value of the palm sludge. This research aimed to study the use effect of the fermented palm sludge (FPS)in the ration on the growth performance of broiler. The research has been conducted in the animal teaching farm of theAnimal Husbandry Faculty starting from October 9th to November 13th, 2013 using 80 DOCs (day old chickens) produced by PT. Satwa Utama Raya, Makassar. Those DOCswere raised in the 20 cages that each has a size of 60x60x90 cm. Each cage was placed by buckets of ration and drinking water. A complete randomizeddesign was used in this research with 5 treatments and 4 replications.  The treatments were R0 (ration without FPS), R1 (ration with 2.5% FPS), R2 (ration with 5.0% FPS), R3 (ration with 7.5% FPS), R4 (ration with 10.0% FPS). The research parameters were feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion.The result showed that treatments affected non-significantly (P>0.05) on the three observed variables. It was concluded that the fermented palm sludge still can be used up to 10% in the broiler?s ration.Key words: broiler, fermented palm sludge, growth performance

Abstract

One strategis to provide feed in developing rabbits in the dry areas is utilising forage that are able to survive in during dry season. This experiment was aimed to examine the use of different forages on water intake, feed intake and digestibility of local rabbit. The experiment employed  20 male local rabbits, consentrate feed 2% of live weight and forage ad libitum, metabolisme cages and also supporting equipments. The experiment design used was randomised block design, which consisted of 4 treatments and 5 replicates. The dietary treatments were P1 (MO) = Moringa oleifera, P2 (LL)= Leucaena leucocephala, P3 (DV)= Desmanthus virgatus, and P4 (TI)= Tamarindus indica.The result showed that  different forage affected very significantly (P<0.01) feed intake. However, treatment did not affect significantly (P>0,05) water intake and feed digestibility of local rabbit. It was concluded the best forage for local rabbit is Desmanthus virgatus.Key words: Drink water, Digestibility, Consumption, Forage, Local rabbit
