Abstract

The purpose of this study wa to analize some aspects of the business such as technical and technological,marketing, management, juridiscal, financial and environmental aspectsusing case .study. This researchstarted from August to December 2001. The results show that this industry still used simple technology andequipment The ingredients of the product are tenggiri fish, tapioca, sugar, salt, egg, fried oil and vetsin. Therearc two ways ofdistributioas, the first is by distributing the product directly to the consumers and the secondis through retail traders. The marketing of this product has reached many places such as Malaysia andSingapura. The system of work used was a cooperation system and there was no such kind of the companystructure. The industry of Amplang Tenggiri Sumber Rezeki has been stated legally based upon the instruc-tion from the Departcment of Public Health Rl No. SP. 004/04.01/1992/14. The RCR value attained was 2,95.Il nieaas that every one rupiah of cost production will earn 2,95 nipiahs of gross profit or the profit is about Rp1,95. The gross profit earned by the enterpreneur in a month was Rp 43.940.000,- and the net income was Rp29.084.044,4.3. From the observation and analysis of the business, agroindustry of amplang tenggiri SumberRexeki is feasible to be developed in the future. In the view point of environment, thi-s Industry did not cause anydisti-ubances to the people and surroundings, based on the statement of the people living around this homeindustry.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyse the level of acceptance by the panelists and to analyze the business feasibility of sweet bread made from wheat and modified cassava flour (mocaf). the research was conducted experimentally by making sweet bread from 70% wheat and 30%mocaf and then tested the panelists acceptance and business analysis. Method was use accepted test by 50 panelists tested the sweet bread and then calculates by Cochran’s Q test. Accepted test by 50 panelists whose 43 panelists accepted the experience sweet bread and 49 panelists accepted the commercial sweet bread. Cochran’s Q test shows that F table is lower than F calculating, therefore sweet bread from wheat and mocaf was different with commercial sweet bread. Total cost of a day processing production from 5 kg powders were Rp. 245.985,21 with 307 sweet breads and sell with price is Rp. 1.000,00 answered is Rp. 307.000,00 revenue. Benefit that got is Rp. 61.014,79 with efficience of business is 1,25. Total product of break even point were 246 sweet breads with minimal priced is Rp. 801,25. Total product and price of break even point which important point to make this business was not failed. Conclusion of this experience is sweet bread could be accepted by panelist and ready to sell.   Keywords: business analysis, mocaf,panelists acceptance, sweet bread, wheat

Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) to determine the characteristics of employees of oil palm and rubber crops in PT. PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana; 2) to analysis level of employee satisfaction palm oil and rubber plant in PT. PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana. The research was conducted from March 2015. The method used is survey method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with criteria for implementing employee who has a leadership position as the bottom and the bottom of the employees working in the field in rubber and palm oil as well as employees who work in the office PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana. Research shows that employees who work in PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana dominant male is 84.38% with an average age of 42 years where the high school level of education of employees is 75.00%, the average length of work employees are encouraged 17 years, and salary   s> 2,000,000 has the largest number that is 64.06%. Analysis of the level of satisfaction of employees working at getting that level of satisfaction with the supervisor has the highest score of 3.41 in the category "satisfied" followed by the level of satisfaction with the job got a score of 3.24 with the category "somewhat satisfied" then the level of satisfaction with co-workers obtained a score 3,17 with the category "somewhat satisfied" while the level of satisfaction with salaries get a score of 2.84 with the category "quite satisfied" and the lowest scores are at a level of satisfaction with the campaign that is 2.59 with the category of "less satisfied". So that the average level of satisfaction of employees working in PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana is at 3.05 scores in the category "fairly satisfied".     Keywords: PTPN V Gardens Sei Kencana, Factor Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influences of micro credits financial institution (coperation and PT. Persi)  to the development of small industry at Mempura Sub District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The samples has conducted  by using saturated sampling technique, amount of of samples are 31 small industries. The result of research obtained that small industries which earned credit is not better developed compared to small industries which not earned credit. It's showed by there’s no different of assets, sales turnover, number of employees, between small industries, except of  working hours and the scope of the marketing of industries that have earned credit is greater than the industries does not get the credit. It is reinforced by the result of analysis of the logistics that showed there was no difference of assets, sales turnover, number of employees, number of hours worked in marketing coverage among small industries that earned credit and small industries that not earned credit. Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1). Know the function, channel and marketing agencies onion. 2). Analyze costs, margins,  profibality, efficiency and the share of the farmer. 3). Knowing the marketing problems of onion at Sungai Geringging Kampar Kiri districk in Kampar regency. This study usues survey, sampling was done by purposive sampling of 30 samples onion farmers at Sungai Geringging Kampar Kiri districk in Kampar regency. Taking sample of trader used snowball sampling by following marketing channel. The outcome of this research indicated the function-function of onion marketing at Sungai Geringging such as buy function, sale function, clean function, storage function, transportation function, standardization function, risk tackling function, market information function, financial capital function.There are 2 marketing channel 1). Farmer–trader of collector–trade of retailer–consumen. 2). Farmer–trader of collector–bigtrader–trader of retailer–consumen. The total cost of marketing collector is Rp 416,67/kg, retailers channel I is Rp 153,02/kg. Marketing costs of bigtrader channel II is Rp 275/kg and retailers channel II is Rp 176,03/kg. Marketing margins of channel I is Rp 3.166,67/kg and channel II is Rp 4.100/kg. Total profit of channel I is Rp 2.596,98/kg and channel II is Rp 3.232,30/kg. The efficiency of channel I is 2,46% and channel II is 3,60%. Problems faced by farmer is the weather and the price, while the problems faced by traders is the price. Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) To determine the pattern of food and non food expenditure of households 2) To determine the ability of farmers to meet the basic needs based on the criteria of BPS. This research was conducted at Pulau Jambu village, Kuok district, Kampar regency in April to July 2014. The method of sampling in this study was randomly and took 60 farmers as respondent. Analysis of the data for the study was by counting household expenditures and based on 14 indicators of basic needs in 2008 according to the BPS. The household expenditure’s average of rubber farmers in Pulau Jambu village is Rp. 3,150,800 per month divided into food and non-food expenditures. The total average of household expenditure across the sample rubber farmers reached Rp. 189,048,000 per month. The fulfillment of basic needs of households that have been analyzed by the 14 criterias for basic needs according to the BPS that indicates the rubber farmers in the Jambu village is not included to the category of near-poor.   Keywords: Expenditure, Households, Rubber Farmers.

Abstract

The leading sector can ascendant to economic structured change. The process of change in the economic structure characterized by, the decline in the share of the primary sector, the increase in the share of the secondary sector and the share of the tertiary sector. The purpose of the analyze is identify of the leading sector and the shift of economic structure change at Regency Kepulauan Meranti period 2008-2012. The analytical tool used is the shift fshare analysis (SS) and the method of location quotient (LQ). The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. Observational result that becomes to leading sector at Kepulauan Meranti regency with migas which is agricultural sector, processing industry, electricity, gas and fresh water, commerce, hotel and restaurant. Meanwhile without migas which is agricultural sector and commerce, hotel and restaurant. The economic structure in Kepulauan Meranti regency has shifted from the primary sector to the secondary sector, although the rate of shifts is still relatively small, characterized by the percentage contribution of the primary sector has declined, while the contribution of the secondary sector and the tertiary increased.   Key Words: Leading Sectors, Location Quotion, Shiftshare, Economic Structure

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze net income, efficiency and BEP (Break Even Point) of agro-industrial business of Aloe vera of Duta Purnama and to draft the development strategy that can be applied to this agro-industrial business. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used in this research are basic business analysis by counting the income, profit, efficiency (RCR), BEP unit, BEP income, SWOT analysis and AHP (analytic hierarchy process). Seen from the value of profit, Duta Purnama, the agro-industrial business, has a very promising prospect.  It can be known from the result of the research that the RCR values of Nata De Aloe and Duta Purnama’s cracker business are respectively 1.86 and 1.43. The first main strategy and can be applied to develop the business by using AHP is maintaining the competitive price of products.   Keywords: Income, Efficiency (RCR), Strategy, SWOT Analysis and AHP.

Abstract

This research aim is to know and analyze: 1. The channel, margin of rubber marketing and rubber marketing efficiency. 2. The correlation between the price of rubber from factory and the price of rubber in farmer level. 3. The influence of rubber price changing of factory to farmer level at Jake Village of Kuantan Tengah District of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method is used of survey method. The sampling method is purposive sampling of 46 farmer that have plantation age between 15-25 years. The second sampling of merchant is using snowball sampling method that come to marketing channel. The research results shows that in Jake Village of Kuantan Tengah District of Kuantan Singingi Regency have one rubber marketing chanel. That is farmer to collector merchant to factory. The lowest price in farmer level is Rp.6.660/kg. The highest price level is Rp. 9.950/kg. The lowest price of factory is Rp. 7.688/kg. The highest price level of factory is Rp. 11.115/kg. The average price level of the farmer level on period April 2013 up to Maret 2014 is Rp. 8.599,42 the average price level on factory is Rp. 9.835,67. The margin level of marketing channel between the price in farmer level and factory is Rp. 1.236,25, marketing eficiency is 6,12%. Correlation value between the price in farmer level and factory level is 0,97%. Value of the elasticity of price transmission between the price received from farmers and the price of bokar by factory was 0,97%. Keywords : Marketing, Margins, Price Transmission, Elasticity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of marketing mix on consumer purchasing decisions of fruit and vegetables in Pasar Buah Pekanbaru jointly or partially and to know the marketing mix consisting of product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), promotion (X4) and service (X5), the dominant influence on consumer decisions in the purchase of fruits and vegetables in Pasar Buah Pekanbaru. Sample selection method used was purposive sampling with total sample of 50 people for fruit respondents and 50 people for vegetables respondents. The research has been done on October 2013 in Pasar Buah Pekanbaru. The results showed that the marketing mix consisting of product, price, location, promotion and service have an effect simultaneously (jointly) on consumer purchasing decisions of fruit and vegetables in Pasar Buah Pekanbaru with results F-hitung test obtained, seen F-hitung for purchase of fruit and for purchase of vegetable is greater than F-tabel.Meanwhile, partial (individual), product, place and service variables that influence the purchasing decisions of consumers of fruit and vegetables with t-hitung for purchase of fruit, product, place and service and than t-hitung for purchase of vegetables, product, place and service showed greater than t-table so that both variables are significant. From the analysis showed that the product variable, the dominant influence on consumer purchase of fruit. From the analysis showed that the place variable, the dominant influence on consumer purchase of vegetables in Pasar Buah Pekanbaru with results of regression analysis showed the greatest value.   Key words: Marketing mix, Consumer’s decision, Consumer, Fruit and Vegetables
