Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in conversation text material through the application of the class I contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in the second semester of the 2016-2017 academic year at SD Negeri Naleung Mass School, East Aceh Regency. The benefits of this research are to add new references and theories in the field of education, especially the implementation of classroom Action Research by applying various models or learning methods so as to improve student learning outcomes. To achieve this, the steps that need to be implemented are through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach. Data analysis methods used in this study uses descriptive analysis whose data is sourced from formative tests and classroom observations. This research was conducted in the increase in students mastery learning which reaches 85% classically. The results of the study show that in cycle I (one) the average value of students amounted to 64 and mastery learning reached 44%. These results indicate an improvement from the initial conditions with an average score of only 54.8 and a new learning completeness of 28%. While in cycle II (two) the average value of student was 79.2 and completeness of learning reached 92%. The conclusion of this study was the application of contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach to Indonesian learning. Conversational text material had a positive effect on improving learning outcomes in class I student semester II of the 2016-2017 school year at Nalueng Mass State Elementary School, East Aceh Regerency

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai-nilai sopan santun dan nilai-nilai moral. Pembelajaran dengan bercerita merupakan salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk peningkatan perilaku moral pada anak. Sebanyak 80,95% anak mengalami kesulitan dalam memohon dan memberi maaf, 71,43% belum bisa mengucapkan terima kasih jika memperoleh sesuatu, dan 61,90% belum bisa berbicara secara sopan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas secara deskriptif dengan subjek 21 anak-anak kelompok B2 TK Daarul Jannah Pontianak Timur. Hasil analisis data perilaku moral anak melalui metode bercerita tentang perilaku mulia Nabi Muhammad SAW menunjukkan bahwa: Perencanaan pembelajaran  meningkat sebesar 2,72 pada siklus I dan sebesar 2,86 pada siklus II; Pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata siklus I sebesar 2,61 dan pada siklus II sebesar 2,77; Peningkatan pembelajaran perilaku moral pada indikator anak mau memohon dan memberi maaf sebesar 61,9%, anak mengucapkan terima kasih meningkat sebesar 66,67% dan anak berbicara dengan sopan meningkat sebesar 71,4%. Learning to tell is one of the means used to increase moral behavior in children. A total of 80.95% of children have difficulty in begging and giving forgiveness, 71.43% can not say thank you when getting something, and 61.90% have not been able to speak politely. This research uses classroom action research with a descriptive subject group of 21 early chilhood education B2 Daarul Jannah East Pontianak. The results of data analysis of moral behavior of children through storytelling about the behavior of the noble Prophet Muhammad shows that: Planning learning increased by 2.72 in the first cycle and by 2.86 in the second cycle; Implementation of learning increases with the average value of the first cycle of 2.61 and 2.77 for the second cycle; Improved learning of moral behavior on the indicator of the children would beg forgiveness of 61.9%, children thanked increased by 66.67% and the child spoke politely increased by 71.4%.
