Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the values of Minangkabau culture in a collection of short stories 'Carito Etek Siar-Indak Tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work. Study of the theory in this study, namely: (1) the nature of literature, (2) the nature and elements of the short story, (3) literary analysis approach, (4) the nature and cultural values. This research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The data in this study are the values of Minangkabau culture in a collection of short stories 'Carito Etek Siar- Indak tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work. Data source is a collection of short stories 'Carito Etek Siar-Indak Tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work. The sections relating to research data were analyzed by means of reading, understand, appreciate, identify, and noting how cultural values contained in a collection of short stories. Data was collected by means of read carefully the short story collection 'Carito Etek Siar-Indak Tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work, in order to get an overall understanding of the content of the story, marking the structure section contains the description of the values of Minangkabau culture in it , identifying cultural values contained in a collection of short stories 'Carito Etek Siar- Indak Tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work. Data analysis techniques, an inventory of data, translating data into Indonesian, classifies data based on the problems presented in this study, the data that have been classified and analyzed based on the theory that has been described, after the data were analyzed, do inference. After analysis, it was found Minangkabau cultural values contained in a collection of short stories 'Carito Etek Siar-Indak Tau Diatah Takunyah' Amir Adriyeti work. Minangkabau cultural values consists of values of 6 pieces of religious systems, the values of kinship in Minangkabau society 4 pieces, and the values of livelihood system 5 pieces.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are three (1) to describe the types of authentic assessment used by Indonesian teachers, (2) to describe the compatibility between authentic assessment and theory in the Curriculum 2013, (3) constraints experienced by Indonesian teachers. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. The results showed that teachers of  SMP Negeri 7, SMP Negeri 11 and SMP Negeri 25 Padang have used the type of authentic assessment in the Curriculum 2013. Assessment is done through three aspects, namely attitude aspect, knowledge aspect and skill aspect. Kata kunci: Implementasi penilaian otentik, jenis-jenis penilaian, mata pelajaran    bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

These researches are for: (1) description of ability and export students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam, (2) description writing argumented students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam, (3) description relation between writing with skills how to write argumented paragraf students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam.            These researches used quantitative approach with descripted metode results of  research are from 2 tried out: objective and performance. Objective tried out used for gathering data, whereas performance used for gathering data of writing skills of argumented paragraf. Are exsampel of these researches are 32 people, we ased propotionat technique random sampling take out 24 % from all of students per class.            Base this research and data analysis, conclated : 1st understand reading students of high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam resulted in good qualification (74,25), 2nd skiils of writing argumented paragraf resulted enough qualification (70,46), 3nd there were signifant relation between understanding read and skills of writing argumented paragraf, because of improving resulted t sount > t tabel (4,098 > 2,750). 0,60 so that writing and reading have significan relation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  There are three purposes of this research. First, to describe of writing argumentative paragraph without using discovery learning. Second, to describe of  writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning. Third, to describe the effect of the first grade students in writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning.Based on the analysis of the data, the researcher concluded that, first writing argumentative paragraph without using discovery learning was classified into (C) with averange 63,26. Second, writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning was classified into (B) with averange 78,52. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe (1) types of authentic assessment used teachers in Indonesia language subjects in junior high Country South Pesisir Regency, (2) conformity assessment between teacher done authentic language subjects Indonesia in SMP Negeri South Pesisir Regency and theory on the curriculum of 2013, and (3) constraints faced by teachers Indonesia language subjects in junior high Country South Pesisir Regency in conducting assessment authentic. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research was conducted at the JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL South Pesisir Regency Country i.e. SMP 1 Painan, SMP 2 Painan, and SMP 1 Tarusan. The data in this study is the result of collecting data about the understanding and implementation of assessment authentic conducted Indonesia language teacher in junior high Country South Pesisir Regency which is obtained from the data source. Techniques employed i.e. observation, interviews, and documentation study. A technique used to analyze the data, namely the identification data, data presentation, and the withdrawal of the conclusion.  Based on the findings of the research and the discussion can be summed up in the following three things. (1) the overall types of authentic assessment has been used by Indonesia language teacher in junior high Country South Pesisir Regency. (2) the overall alignment of authentic assessment done guru Indonesia language subjects in junior high Country South Pesisir Regency and the theory on Curriculum 2013 is already good. Kata kunci: implementasi, bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe (1) implementation of the Indonesia-based language learning texts on SMP Negeri Padang Pariaman in the implementation of text-based learning through the four stages of learning, i.e. the stage of preparation of the context the modeling stage, stage, build the text together, and the stage of establishing the text independently, (2) constraints faced by teachers of language subjects in junior high Country Indonesia Padang Pariaman in the implementation of text-based learning. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research was conducted in the State JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Padang Pariaman i.e. SMP 1 228 1 lime, Rivers 2X11 Wood Planting, and SMP 1 2X11 Six Group. Abstract

This study was aimed to (1) describe and interpret the representation of mother's parenting pattern in kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, (2) describe the impact of mother's parenting pattern on children's behavior in kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, and (3) find factors influencing mother's parenting pattern in kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah.This study type was qualitative by using descriptive analysis method. The data source of this study was kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah. Collecting data technique was done by (1) reading kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, (2) translating kaba Cindua Mato by Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, and (3) identifying and classifying data related to mother?s parenting pattern, such as (a) the type of parenting pattern, (b) the impact of parenting pattern, and (c) factor affecting parenting pattern. Based on the data analysis, the results of the study were concluded as follows. Mother's parenting pattern showed that the democratic parenting style made the children able to communicate well in expressing his opinion. The impact of democratic upbringing made the children able to (1) respect the opinions of others, (2) respect differences of opinion, and (3) promote tolerance. Environmental factor affected children behavior. Environmental factor encouraged the children to understand about the environment. On cultural factor, the children learned about Minangkabau culture. RAJO ENDAHAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan representasi pola asuh ibu dalam kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, (2) dampak pola asuh ibu terhadap perilaku anak dalam kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, dan (3) menemukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola asuh ibu dalam kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kulitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara (1) membaca kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, (2) menerjemahkan kaba Cindua Mato karya Syamsuddin St. Rajo Endah, dan (3) mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi data yang berhubungan dengan pola asuh ibu, seperti (a) jenis pola asuh, (b) dampak pola asuh, dan (c) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola asuh. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, pola asuh ibu menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis membuat anak dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya. Dampak pola asuh demokratis membuat anak dapat (1) menghargai pendapat orang lain, (2) menghormati perbedaan pendapat, dan (3) mengedepankan sikap tenggang rasa. faktor lingkungan mempengaruhi sikap si anak. Faktor lingkungan mendorong si anak agar dapat memahami tentang lingkungannya. Pada faktor budaya, si anak belajar mengenai budaya Minangkabau.Kata kunci: Pola Asuh Ibu, Kaba, Cindua Mato

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are three (1) types of authentic assessment used by teachers in Indonesian language subjects in SMP Negeri Payakumbuh, (2) the compatibility between authentic assessment conducted by teachers of Indonesian subjects in SMP Negeri Payakumbuh and theories that exist in Curriculum 2013, (3) the obstacles faced by Indonesian language teachers in SMP Negeri Payakumbuh. This research type is qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. Based on research findings and research results can be concluded the following three things. (1) Overall type of authentic assessment has been used by Indonesian teachers in SMP Negeri Payakumbuh. (2) Overall the appropriateness between authentic assessment of Indonesian language teachers in SMP Negeri Payakumbuh and the theory that existed in the Curriculum 2013 is good. Pthere is a component of the understanding of the process and the assessment of learning based on data obtained in the study is categorized well. Indonesian teachers SMPN 3 Payakumbuh already understand the process and assessment of learning well. Indonesian language teacher SMPN 5 Payakumbuh already understand the process and assessment of learning well. Indonesian teachers SMPN 8 Payakumbuh already understand the process and assessment of learning well. In the component of the implementation of the assessment of learning based on the data obtained in the study categorized quite well. Indonesian language teacher SMPN 3, 5, and 8 Payakumbuh has conducted a fairly good learning appraisal. Kata kunci: Implementasi penilaian otentik, bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This article aims to describe the following two points. First, describe the types of characters in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. Second, describe the technique of the presence of characters in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh.The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive method. The instrument of this research is the researcher / writer himself assisted the theoretical books and tables of data analysis. This research data is a language tool in the form of written words taken from the data source. The data in the form of figures and techniques of the presence of characters contained in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh which amounted to 30 texts. The technique of data validation used is triangulation technique. The data analyzing steps are: (1) identifying the general picture of data as well as encoding text, (2) coding the data, (3) analyzing the characters and characterizations in the fantasy story text of the students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh by using formats based on theory used, (4) discussion of research data, (5) summarizes the results of research, and (6) reported the results of research in the form of thesis. Based on the research results can be concluded two things. First, the kind of characters that tend to be used by students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh in the fantasy story text that they write is a fictional character, additional characters, white figures, flat figures, and static figures. Second, the technique of presence of characters that tend to be used students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh in the text of the fantasy story they write is analytical techniques, action techniques, and techniques of words. Kata kunci: Tokoh, Penokohan, Teks Cerita Fantasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the development of learning modules for writing exposition text Problem Based Learning model with a valid, practical, and effective . This type of research was the development of research methods of research and development (R&D). This study uses a model of the development of Four-D (4-D) were simplified into 3-D. The results of the study is the product of the learning modules write exposition text model Problem Based Learning for students of class X. The level of validity of the module is 89.66 % with the category of very valid . Level module practicalities by teachers was 90.44 % categorized as very practical . Level practicalities of modules by students was 91.37% categorized as very practical . Values module effectiveness was 87.92 % with a very good category. Kata Kunci: pengembangan, problem based learning, eksposisi
