Abstract

Background: The menopause is marked by the ending of menstruation and happen to women the age of 45-50 years old. In this period, there are many change of life, ones of the is sexual problem. Based on first survey in lembang village, there is a case a women menopause reported her husband to village?s leaders because her husband always forced her to do inter course every day, and there is a mitos named ?pari ka jubata?, this is means God forbid to do sexual activity when is old age. This is caused by knowledge and attitudes of women are still less about menopause, especially about sexual activity.Purpose: To analyze the correlation of knowledge and attitudes about sexual activity with sexual activity in menopause period in Lembang village subdistrict of Bengkayang 2014.Methods: This is an analiytic survey research using cross sectional desing with samples as many as 75 (accidental sampling) people. The statistic test used is spearman rank test by 95% level of singnificance (p value) and correlation of power by spearman rank correlation (r value).Results: There is correlation between knowledge with sexual activity in menopause period (p = 0,000) with a moderate correlation of power (r = 0.423). There is correlation between attitudes with sexual activity in menopause period (p = 0,001) with a weak correlation of power (r = 0, 377).Advice given is the women of menopause should really open mind, active and willing to take the time receive information about menopause especially sexual activity, doing gymnastic for old age and collaborate with village?s programs by counseling for increased knowledge about healty sexual activity in menopause period.Keywords: Knowledge, Attitudes, Menopause, Aging and Sexual Activity

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hikmah Tolitoli melalui pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bersiklus yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan,  pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diambil dari penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil tindakan siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal 60,9% dengan nilai rata-rata 74,3. Pada siklus II diperoleh peningkatan ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 91,3% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,3. Data kualitatif pada siklus I aktivitas guru diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata 76,8%, dan aktivitas siswa diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata 70,45%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan untuk aktivitas guru dengan persentase nilai rata-rata 91,07% begitu pula pada aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan persentase nilai rata-rata 88,63%. Dengan demikian penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam di kelas III MI Al-HikmahTolitoli. Abstract

Speaking is one of language skills which has to be mastered by the students. By being able to speak, students will be able to transfer their thought to others. Unfortunately, sometimes students, at SMP Islam Paramitha especially, failed to utter their idea in spoken manner due to several factors as lack of vocabulary, not knowing what and how to say the ideas, and mostly feeling unconfident. This problem  cannot be neglected; therefore, the researcher decided to carry out a two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR). In This CAR the researcher implemented question and answer technique to improve students’ speaking ability on expressing their daily activities. By using observation sheets, interview guide, and test, it was found that 70% of the students had been successfully improving their speaking ability. As a result, the intended spoken communication, either between students and students or teacher and students, did take place.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 dan SMP Negeri 4 Kuala Kampar, Kecamatan Kuala Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisis data model interaktif Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. 1) Pelaksanaan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri1 dan SMP Negeri 4 Kuala Kampar belum terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan 16 indikator standar kompetensi manajerial. 2) Faktor penghambat: a) kepala sekolah tidak memiliki standar kompetensi, b) minimnya pengalaman kepala sekolah, c) ketidakmampuan dalam menyusun perencanaan sekolah, d) kurangnya koordinasi dan kerjasama, e) kurangnya sarana dan prasarana sekolah, f) kurangnya mengikuti pelatihan, dan g) kurangnya pengawasan dari atasan.

Abstract

English is taught in Modern Islamic Boarding School  as one of  language competences must be mastered by the students  beside Arabic. The teachers find  difficulties to implement  learning models that make the students to be active  and  the students need others learning variation.  Research and Development (R & D) design is used in this  research  that aim  to produce the development of “Project Based-Learning Model” plus VCD to improve the Students English Ability of Modern Islamic Boarding School at Malang Area. The model of development is adopted by  Borg and Gall Model  starting from collecting information,  development of initial product, 1st expert validation, 1st  product revision, 2nd expert validation, 2nd product revision, tryout, and final product. The Experts’ English Material validation conclude that formulation of learning objective, content, material selection for development of “Project Based-Learning Model” have got category of  Excellent. The validation of the Expert of Media  conclude that final product of VCD have been appropriated  with the aspects  of  learning media that are feasible to be applied.

Abstract

Latar belakang. Menopause adalah keadaan dimana seorang wanita berhenti haid untuk selamanya dan terjadi pada usia rata-rata 45?55 tahun. Pada masa ini banyak terjadi perubahan, salah satunya masalah seksual. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan di desa Lembang, terdapat kasus dimana salah seorang wanita menopause yang melaporkan suaminya pada kepala desa dikarenakan tidak tahan dengan perlakuan suaminya yang selalu memaksa untuk berhubungan intim setiap hari dan adanya mitos yang disebut ?pari ka jubata? yang artinya pelanggaran larangan (pantangan) dengan Tuhan jika melakukan aktivitas seksual bila sudah usia tua. Ini diakibatkan karena pengetahuan dan sikap wanita tentang menopause khususnya tentang aktivitas seksual yang masih kurang. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap tentang aktivitas seksual dengan aktivitas seksual pada masa menopause di desa Lembang kabupaten Bengkayang tahun 2014. Metodologi: Desain penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh adalah 75 responden (accidental sampling). Hasil: Analisa bivariat dengan uji spearman rank menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan aktivitas seksual nilai p 0,000 (? < 0,05) dan koefisien korelasi (r) 0,423 dan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap dengan aktivitas seksual nilai p 0,001(? < 0,05) dan koefisien korelasi (r) 0,377. Saran yang diberikan adalah hendaknya ibu menopause lebih terbuka, aktif dan mau meluangkan waktunya untuk menerima informasi tentang menopause khususnya aktivitas seksual, senam manula dan penyuluhan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang aktivitas seksual yang sehat pada masa menopause

Abstract

The aim of the study is to reveal how multicultural based learning can increase the multicultural students' level of tolerance. The research is qualitative descriptive which the source of data is obtained from observation of the implementation of multicultural based learning in Speaking II class as well as interviews of students and lecturer. The result shows that the students' level of tolerance increases significantly after the implementation. there are four indicators which supports this claim; first based on the result of racial bias test taken by the students before and after the implementation, which the result shows significant improvement of score,; second, based on observations on every meeting focusing on four skills that become the emphasize of the study. Those skills are: multiculturalism skill, diversity skill, pluralism skill, and relativism skill. The students’ four skills are increased after the implementation of the model.

Abstract
