Abstract

From research result used filterbank gabor algorithms, can give 96 (24 x 4) featurres from 24 sector with 4 filter. Gabor filter use 23 x 23 with orientation change 00, 450, 900, dan 1350. Each orientation angle change will be rotation gabor filter on to its. Make feature vector or FingerCode with Avarage Absolute Deviation (AAD) are average value from difference pixels number for each sector and centre value on sector. Error system on disjoint between FAR dan FRR with value 3,6% and threshold value 39. Then slope from GAR graphic value 400, this is proving that this system is running a good, cause slope recommendation value 450.

Abstract

Acne is one of the most common diseases that often occur in adolescence. Acne is caused by several factors, namely genetic, hormonal, stress, Propionibacterium acnes microorganisms, environmental, and cosmetics. The existence of these factors can cause many types of acne, such as blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, and nodules. Various efforts that have been done to resolve the problem of identifying the types of acne still has some flaws that required identification system type of acne that is cheap, effective, efficient, and accurate. Innovation identification of the type of acne is designed with the help of digital microscope camera, and a computer model in which applications are developed is based on wavelet transform and neural networks to identify types of acne automatically. Results of a system can identify the type of acne automatically using wavelet transform with the decomposition at level 3 and the coefficients is horizontal and backpropagation neural network with a network architecture that consists of various layers are input layer, hidden layer and output layer. Accuracy of identification the system is 84,6% with instructional time by 8 seconds. Identified the type of acnes are blackheads, cysts, nodules, papules, pustules and whiteheads. The range accuracy for acnes identification on the network is 72% until 92%. The best pixel resolution is 8 MP.

Abstract

Cancer diseases characterized by abnormal cell cycle, in which the body cells grow out of control (cell division beyond the normal limits) and invade nearby healthy tissue. Cancer cells are actively dividing sensitive to radiation exposure, so that cancer can be treated with a high dose of radiation that is commonly referred to radiotherapy. High-dose radiation is damaging tissue, therefore radiotherapy should be planned carefully. Dose in cancer cells should be precise and dangerous organs (organs at risk) should not receive high doses. Contouring is the process of determining the volume of cancer and other organs at risk. Research on contouring is done by developing a step-by-step algorithm that is able to localize the area detected as cancer and also borders cancer, so it is visually identifiable characteristics and forms of cancer. Active contour image segmentation methods used to separate and identify cancer cells with healthy cells. Active contour is able to recognize the limits of automatic edge, so as to know the boundary between cancer cells with healthy cells. Determination of volume and visualization of cancer is done by segmenting the image of each piece, then each piece of the image reconstruction process is carried out to obtain the volume visualization of cancer and dangerous organ in three dimensions. The results showed that the active contour segmentation method can perform image segmentation for multi-region with objects, objects that are close together but are sensitive to image noises.Keywords : cancer, radiotherapy, segmentation, active contour

Abstract

Landslides are natural events that occur due to the ground movement of the earth's surface. The movement influenced by its constituent such as soil type, land use and intensity of rainfall in some place that causes a material such as ground was moving. Research on landslide done based on field surveys. The potential of a region in the category of landslides can be done by mapping parameters - parameters of landslides in the form of a calculation using the image of a network system that has been trained to predict the condition of an area.Image processing is done by segmenting color for any information presented in an image of landslides parameters. The color segmentation results performed labeling process to represent the information in the image. Then the landslides indices obtained from the manual calculation of weighting parameters. The result of the calculation is used as an instructional manual for the neural network. Where the value of the index 1 is the lowest level of landslide or safety category. While the index level 5 is the highest landslide or category of highly vulnerable to landslides. To process the data from the manual calculation in artificial neural network using backpropagation algorithm.The research data was training data and testing of tissue obtained from the manual calculation of weighting parameters landslides. Network training successfully conducted with a total accuration (index normal manual landslides and landslide index network) of 100% and accuration of test results 91,2% network. In the training data used 96 samples of data and test data as much as 34 data.Keywords: Landslide index, color segmentation, artificial neural network.

Abstract

The automatic lens experiment with stepper motor position control has been made. Main component of this device are stepper motor which move the lens and screen. Microcontroller is contens the programs of motor movement controller. The screen contain of Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) as voltage sensor. This image will focused when the voltage in the screen is maximum. Abstract

A study to identify focus on a digital microscope has been done using a threshold value of the object microscope image obtained by Otsu method. Microscope image of the object captured by the change from a maximum to a minimum distance between the object and the microscope objective lens to record the amount of movement of a motor stepper and calculates the Otsu threshold value on each image. Based on data from a Otsu threshold value of each microscope image of the object to the changes within the object can be inferred the existence of a relationship between the position of an object to focus the microscope with the image of the threshold value that is increasingly the focus of an image , the image of the Otsu threshold values ??obtained are also getting smaller. In this study done by testing two samples as objects of microscope that single hair samples and samples collection of several hairs were each placed on a microscope glass slide. Data collection and observation results show that for a single hair samples obtained object focus Otsu threshold value T = 97 and sample an object consisting of a collection of some of the hair is obtained Otsu threshold value T = 127. But the testing of two samples showed differences influenced by the ratio between the number of pixels on the image and the background image of an object caused by the influence of the intensity of the light source of the microscope. Abstract

The effect of gain to The Width at Half Maximum (FWHM) and Full Width at Tenth Maximum (FWTM) on B-mode image ultrasonogram (USG) has been investigated. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of gain on the spatial resolution according the measurements of FWHM and FWTM. The evaluated resolution type is axial and lateral. This research used phantom multipurpose multi tissue with gain (30 dB, 35 dB, 40 dB, 45 dB, 50 dB, 55 dB and 60 dB) on frequency variation source 6,2 Mhz, 8 MHz dan 10MHz. The axial and lateral resolution images were obtained by using USG which uses B-Mode imaging. The measurement was made by using digital image and calculated objectively with MATLAB. The measurement of FWHM and FWTM was obtained from IP-PSF analysis (In Plane-Point Spread Function) using approximation for the Gaussian function. The result shows that there is influence from gain on FWHM and FWTM. The decreasing gain resulted in decreasing of FWHM and FWTM. Abstract

This research purposes are to do some quality tests through a distance measuring calculation using computer-aided system in a USG image projection and to analyze the distance measuring. In concerning with the design and its implementation, this research used digital tabulation method of image projection to compute and to analyze the distance measuring. The image value was established by variation of attenuation, TGC, and depth. Image tabulation was processed with ROI establishing and the cropping method. In depth variation, the average real distance of USG image resolution is 1 cm, the average value of vertical distance accuration of the image is 0.9747, thus the error value of the vertical distance accuration is 0.0253 cm or 0.253 mm or 0.253 % from the real distance and  the average value of the horizontal distance accuration of the image is 0.998 cm thus the error value of the horizontal distance accuration is 2x10-3 cm or 0.02 mm or 0.02 % from the real distance. For the variation of attenuation, the average value of vertical distance accuration of the image is 0.967 thus the error value of the vertical distance is 0.033 cm 0.33 mm or 0.33 %, and  the average value of the horizontal distance accuration of the image is 0.986 cm thus the error value of the horizontal distance is 0.014 cm 0r 0.14 mm or 0.14 %. Thus the error value for the vertical distance accuration is 0.031 cm or 0.31 mm or 0.31 % from the real distance. The result of the all tested components showed that the tested USG machine fullfiled the qualification of The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) criteria. Abstract

Impacts of climate change marked by the increasing emissions of CO2 in the air and increased precipitation make various parties began to feel the need to measure the gas content on a regular basis.These gases gradually accumulating in Earth's atmospheric layers. However, the desire was constrainedby a number of issues which then affect the accuracy of the continuous mapping circulating gas in theatmosphere. Researchers speculate that the amount of CO2 and other gases is growing each day due tothe many additional human-produced carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels. The results obtained bythe pattern of variability in Semarang rising CO2 and rising precipitation trends show an indication ofclimate change has occurred. Abstract

The water recording that still uses manual system has many shortcomings, including error recording by officer, inaccurate of water meter reading, so that many customers feel disadvantaged. The purpose of the research is to make water usage system that can minimalize Mistakes done by the Officers by making prepaid payment system. The water flowed ON flowmeter will rotate the rotor so that it can result clock that becomes input for PIC16F877A to be displayed ON LCD. The number of clock will be characterized with the amount of water that was released so it obtains equation. The equation is put on Program so LCD Output is the amount of water flowed ON flowmeter. The result from Flowmeter characterization is 0.999. The flowmeter test is done by comparing it with standard tools, it obtains correlation coefficient 0,996 with 1,3 % error and test cost is 0.05 %.
