Abstract

ENHANCEMENT OF TEACHERS PROFESSIONALISM THROUGH SPARKOL VIDEOSCRIBE LEARNING MEDIA WORKSHOP IN MALANG DISTRICT. The program of activities proposed by the group of KKM 68 and 105 UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, in the form of assistance in making sparkol videoscribe learning media. Through these activities, it is expected that the product of the development can add learning resources for teachers and students, and become an encouragement for students in learning. The method used in this service is service learning. Service learning is learning for students based on understanding and the process of recognizing a community. Community service activities in the form of ICT media development workshops can improve the understanding of elementary school teachers in Tulusbesar Village, Malang District in making and using learning media with sparkol videoscribe applications. The products produced in these activities are in the form of learning media in the form of sparkol videoscribe which are interesting in material grades 1 to 6 of elementary school. This service activity received a positive response from teachers as workshop participants.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) East Java Distribution (PLN Jatim) is one of the biggest providing electrics companies in East Java. Electrics is very important need  for people. If PLN experiences some financial losses, then the society will sufter from the impact. One of the causes of PLN losses is the illegal usage of the electricity by some customers.  PLN Jatim has recorded five categories of cutomer violation. The research aimed is to know the position of service area and the network (APJ) based on the violation category. This research uses Cross Tabulation Analysis method and Correspondence Analysis method. The Result shows that Malang and Situbondo?s APJs tend to be A violation category. Mojokerto and Kediri?s APJs tend to be B violation category Banyuwangi, Jember and Pamekasan?s APJs tend to be C violation category. Madiun, Pasuruan and Sidoarjo?s APJs tend to be D violation category. Gresik?s APJs tend to be E violation category.

Abstract

Social problems in Indonesia in particular are caused by social phenomena transmitted to users of social media, especially Twitter. Big data system provided by Drone Emprit Academic is able to find social phenomena. The ability of critical literacy to read and write supported by statistical data is very important in the 4.0 era. The aim of the research is to find out which Drone Emprit Academic works, analyzes, and displays data on social phenomena whose results can be used to support critical Literacy. This research uses a qualitative approach, literature study method. The analysis includes three stages, namely organize, synthesize, identify. The results of this study that Drone Emprit Academic is a big data system that carries out social network analysis of specific conversations on Twitter in semi-realtime and detail. The form displayed is in the form of a percentage of trends, retweet relationships, mentioning trend graphs, most retweet statuses, conversation trends. The data generated can help read information about social phenomena so that it can support critical literacy which has been partially published in online and offline media.

Abstract

In teaching English Language, self-confidence is one psycological aspect that play crucial role for the students. Self-confidence is the positive power or willingness that has a good effect for students during conversation or discussion. Willingness is created when students clearly comprehend what to do and why. Optimism is a mental attitude, optimism is a form of positive thinking that includes the belief that you are responsible for your own happiness (Keller; 2010). To lift the students? self-confidence in learning English, English language materials that based on the context or real world need to be used in the teaching and learning process. This paper is aimed at knowing the effect English language material which is based on contextual teaching learning towards students? self confidence in learning English. To achieve this purpose, the students were taught using English language material which is based on contextual teaching learning before the speaking test was taken at the end. To analyze the data t-test was applied. The data analysis shows that students? self confidence in learning English is improved but it doesn?t give significantly affect towards the students? self-confidence.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an integrated Science-Islamic geography teaching materials for students of grade X Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) at the standard of competence to analyze the dynamics of the hydrosphere and its influence on life. The development procedure refers to the method of Dick & Carey adapted to the curriculum of 2013 model. The subject of the trial, namely (1) a team of experts (subject matter expert, linguistic expert, learning design expert, and Quran/Hadith expert and (2) A geography teacher and students in grade X MAN (Public Islamic Senior High School) 1 Malang and MA (Islamic Senior High School) Hasanuddin, Siraman, Blitar. The results of the study, namely (1) the integrated Science-Islamic geography teaching material for the grade X MA meets the standards deserve to be published and (2) improvements suggested by the results of expert validation and field trials covering aspects language, media, evaluation, and display of text books.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar Geografi terintegrasi sains-Islam untuk siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah (MA) pada standar kompetensi menganalisis dinamika hidrosfer dan pengaruhnya terhadap kehidupan. Prosedur pengembangan mengacu pada metode Dick & Carey yang disesuaikan dengan model Kurikulum 2013. Subjek uji coba terdiri atas (1) tim ahli (ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli Al-Qur’an/Hadis dan (2) guru Geografi dan siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Malang dan MA Hasanudin Siraman, Blitar. Hasil penelitian, meliputi (1) bahan ajar Geografi terintegrasi sains-Islam untuk MA kelas X telah memenuhi standar layak untuk diterbitkan dan (2) perbaikan yang disarankan menurut hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba lapangan, meliputi aspek kebahasaan, media, soal evaluasi, dan tampilan buku teks.

Abstract

Budidaya jamur merang yang ada di desa Panti merupakan kelompok usaha bersama yang memanfaatkan limbah pertanian padi untuk menciptakan nilai tambah. Masalah yang sering dihadapi petani jamur ini antara lain; (i) manajemen usaha tidak berjalan secara optimal (ii) Penggunaan komposisi bahan baku media tanam kurang tepat, (iii) tidak melakukan perencanaan produksi, (iv) tidak melakukan penyusunan laporan keuangan atas usahanya, (v) Terbatasnya sarana produksi dan peralatan, (vi) Belum ada penanganan khusus terhadap sisa limbah media tanam. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya jumlah hasil produksi Jamur Merang yang bisa dicapai melalui (i) perbaikan manajemen usaha dan perencanaan produksi (ii) Pelatihan dan Praktek kerja pembuatan media tanam, (iii) Pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan usaha, dan (iv) Pemanfaatan limbah media tanam untuk pupuk bokhasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan demonstrasi kerja. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat membantu petani jamur dalam rangka mencapai hasil usaha yang optimal melalui proses produksi yang terencana, petani dapat membuat media tanam jamur merang yang tepat dan efektif dengan komposisi jerami, katul, sekam, kapur, gula/tetes dan EM4 yang berfungsi untuk menyuburkan media tanam jamur merang, petani jamur dapat menyusun laporan keuangan usaha sesuai dengan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Mikro Kecil Menengah (SAK-EMKM). Selain itu petani jamur merang juga bisa memanfaatkan limbah media tanam untuk pembuatan pupuk bokhasi yang dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan,Kata Kunci: Produktivitas, Jamur Merang, Manajemen Usaha, Pemanfaatan Limbah.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the critical thinking skill and student learning outcome. The research was conducted in the 11th grade of Social Science, Public Senior High School (SMAN 6 Malang). The research material was the problems of demography. Research method was quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design. Data analysis used t-test technique (independent sample t-test). The research result showed that PBL learning model affected on the critical thinking skill and geography student learning outcome in SMAN 6 Malang. The average gain score of experimental class was higher, which is 33.10 than control class, which is 16.24. Computation result of data t-test analysis to the PBL learning model was obtained p-level which smaller than 0.05 (p<0.05) with significance 2 tailed 0.000. Keywords: PBL, critical thinking skill, geography learning outcome

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM) bidang Geografi pada jenjang Madrasah Aliyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan ini mengacu pada Model Pengembangan Dick dan Carey dengan tahapan: (1) analisis buku, (2) identifikasi silabus, (3) analisis materi, (4) penyusunan buku, (5) validasi ahli, (6) revisi produk, (7) uji coba lapangan, dan (8) revisi akhir produk buku. Instrumen yang digunakan, yaitu angket validasi ahli (materi, bahasa, desain, dan rancangan pembelajaran) dan uji coba lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku KSM Bidang Geografi telah memenuhi standar layak. Hal ini terbukti dengan hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa buku KSM Bidang Geografi berada pada kualifikasi antara efektif dan sangat efektif. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut beberapa saran, yaitu (1) dikembangakan pada semua topik KSM Bidang Geografi yang mengacu pada silabus International Geography Olympiad (IGEO); (2) dilakukan uji coba lapangan dengan mengambil sampel yang diperluas di wilayah Indonesia; (3) dilakukan tes kemampuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah membaca buku hasil pengembangan ini dalam bentuk uji coba eksperimen.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM), Geografi,Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract

Discussing social injustice against women with gender analysis, will often face opposition from both men and women themselves. This is because questioning the status of women is essentially concerned with established systems and structures. In addition there are many misunderstandings about why womens issues should be questioned. This paper discusses gender issues that essentially discuss power relationships that involve individuals. This paper is not meant to discuss feminist flows, but rather addressing the debate about gender in the theological discourse of Islamic intellectual traditions. In the discourse of womens theology in Islam, its social implications will be colored by the tug of war between the struggle to equalize gender on the one hand and the struggle to unite them in cosmic harmony on the other. The first seeks to eliminate the social injustice that affects women by raising the existence of gender in order to be equal and equal. While the latter seeks to eliminate social injustice by reinforcing, not to elevate gender differences in order to mutual respect and equality in the natural unity. Membincang ketidakadilan sosial terhadap perempuan dengan analisis gender, sering kali akan menghadapi perlawanan baik dari kalangan kaum laki-laki maupun perempuan sendiri. Ini disebabkan karena mempertanyakan status perempuan pada dasarnya adalah mempersoalkan sistem dan struktur yang sudah mapan. Selain itu banyak terjadi kesalahpahaman tentang mengapa masalah kaum perempuan harus dipertanyakan. Tulisan ini mendiskusikan persoalan gender yang pada dasarnya membahas hubungan kekuasaan yang melibatkan individu. Tulisan ini tidak dimaksudkan untuk mendiskusikan tentang aliran-aliran feminisme, tetapi lebih ditujukan pada perdebatan tentang gender dalam wacana teologis tradisi intelektual Islam. Pada wacana teologi perempuan dalam Is­lam, implikasi sosialnya akan diwarnai oleh tarik ulur antara perjuangan menyetarakan gender di satu sisi dan perjuangan menyatukan keduanya dalam keharmonian kosmis di sisi yang lain. Yang pertama berusaha menghilangkan ketidakadilan sosial yang menimpa perempuan dengan mengangkat eksistensi gender agar bisa sama dan setara. Sedangkan yang kedua berusaha menghilangkan ketidakadilan sosial itu dengan mempertegas, untuk tidak mengangkat perbedaan gender agar bisa saling menghormati dan melengkapi dalam kesatuan alamiah.

Abstract

It is suggested that PBL becomes one of aalternative teaching models that could be implemented to enhance students critical thingking skill.
