Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of third party funds, non-performing financing, and financing to deposit ratio on Islamic Banking assets; (2) the influence of third party funds, non-performing financing, financing to deposit ratio and assets to finance Islamic Banking; (3) the influence of third party funds, non-performing financing, and financing to deposit ratio against financing through Islamic banking assets. The data used are monthly financial statements from Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in Jambi Province in the period 2012-2014. The analytical tool used is path analysis. The results showed that (1) simultaneously and partially, Islamic banking assets in Jambi Province were influenced by variables of third party funds, non-performing financing, and financing to deposit ratio; (2) simultaneously the variable financing of Islamic banking in Jambi Province is influenced by, non-performing financing, financing to deposit ratios and assets. Partially, non-performin financing does not have a significant effect, while the other three variables have a significant effect (3) the amount of Islamic banking financing is influenced by third party funds variable that is equal to 0.587 with a total of 0.806 and financing to deposit ratio through asset variables of 0.195 with total influence which is equal to 0.300.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze financial performance local governments of Jambi city. The results on the effectiveness ratio of PAD of Jambi shows that the financial performance of Jambi city government has been effective, the efficiency level of jambi municipal efficiency is less efficient, the Jambi city government's harmony ratios show the amount of operating expenditure is greater than the capital expenditure, Operations such as grant expenditure and social assistance expenditure indicate that the proportion of these two expenditures is greater at the time of the election of the Head of Region, the growth ratio PAD Local Government of Jambi City showed positive. Capital expenditure growth, average operating expenditure is 38,62% and 11,37%. the growth of local government of Jambi city shows a positive result, the level of financial independence of jambi city is still very dependent on funds transfer from the center and province. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how big the marginal propensity to consume (MPC) and the average propensity to consume (APC) the people of Indonesia before and after the economic crisis and to find out and analyze what factors are affecting the consumption of Indonesian society. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. From the research : 1) the marginal propensity to consume (MPC) the people of Indonesia after the economic crisis has decreased and the average propensity to consume (APC) the people of Indonesia after the economic crisis have increased.   2) Before the economic crisis affecting consume of Indonesian society is the national income and deposit rates. After the economic crisis affecting consume of Indonesian society is the national income and inflation. And overall, both before and after the economic crisis affecting consume of Indonesian society is the national income and deposit rates. Abstract

This research aims to calculate Fiscal Needs in Jambi City and analyze the level of dependence on Fiscal relations with the Economic Growth in Jambi and see how much the rate dependence of the Fiscal Jambi City to the Central Government. These results indicate that the Fiscal Needs in Jambi city has increased significantly each year, the average growth of 46.28 %. Local Government Fiscal Dependence level of Jambi City to the Central Government is very High, the average in the past 11 years (2000 s / d 2010) the proportion of PAD to the total of the local revenue obtained an average of 9.6% and the proportion of average fund balance of the total of local revenues obtained an average of 90.4%, The relationship between the level of fiscal dependence with the Economic Growth in Jambi is very low, amounting to only 0.068.Keywords: Fiscal Need, Local Revenue, Fiscal Dependence

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pattern and structure of economic growth and development inequality between regions in Jambi Province. The data used are secondary data for the period 2004 - 2013 sourced from the Jambi Provincial Statistics Office and Jambi Province BAPPEDA. Data were analyzed descriptively using the Klassen Typology, Williamson Index and Theil Entropy Index. The results of the study found that there was no shift in the pattern and structure of economic growth in Jambi province. The economic growth of Jambi Province is relatively fluctuating with a tendency to increase. Inequality in economic development in Jambi Province in the period 2004 to 2013 was categorized as low.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the inflation trend, interest rates, investment and economic growth of Jambi Province; 2) the influence of inflation, interest rates, investment on economic growth in Jambi Province. The data used are secondary data time series during the period 2000 - 2016. Data is sourced from the Jambi Provincial Statistics Agency and Bank Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and multiple regression models. The results of the study found: 1) the average inflation in Jambi Province was 7.64 percent per year, credit interest rates were 13.67 percent per year, investment development was 15.33 percent per year, and economic growth was 5.45 percent per year; 2) Simultaneously, inflation, lending and investment interest rates have a significant effect on economic growth in Jambi Province. Partially, credit interest rates have a significant negative effect and investment has a significant positive effect on economic growth in Jambi Province. Conversely inflation does not have a significant effect.

Abstract

Forensic odontology (FO) has played an important role in the process of identification of unknown victims. This has help doctor dentist and forensic expert to a great extents. The process of identification of 2 plane crash victims of Garuda DC 10 in 1987 and Garuda Air-Bus in 1995, and 41 murder victims executed by Dukun AS after exhumationed are discussed here. The need of a well trained dentists in the field of FO is imperative as a companion of doctors and forensic experts in the process of examining cases of unknown origin criminal cases and mass disasters victims. It is expected in the future that the demand of Forensic Odontologist is a must in several health service centers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was : (1) To analyze the factors that affect poverty in the City of Jambi during the period 2000-2011, (2) To analyze the factors causing high unemployment in the city of Jambi during the period 2000-2011, and (3) To analyze the relationship between poverty and unemployment in the city of Jambi during the period 2000-2011. The data used in this study is secondary data from the years 2000-2011. BPS data sources derived from the city of Jambi and Diskakertrans city of Jambi. Analysis tools used in this research is a method of multiple linear regression and correlation. The results showed that: (1). Simultaneously (together) variable population density, education level and the unemployment rate, and a significant positive effect on the level of poverty in the city of Jambi. While partially independent variables that significantly influence the level of education level and the level of poverty is unemployment. Variables influence population density, education level and the unemployment rate is equal to the poverty rate of 92,40 percent, (2). Simultaneously (together) variable education level and health level have positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate in the city of Jambi. While partially independent variables had significant effect on the unemployment rate in the City of Jambi is education level. Variables influence education level and health level rate is equal to the unemployment rate of 42,6 percent; (3). Levels of poverty and unemployment rate in the city of Jambi has a negative correlation with a correlation coefficient of -0.290. Keywords: Population Density, Unemployment Rate, Education Level

Abstract

Identification of leading sectors or leading subsectors is one of the main tasks of the local government and is an important part of regional development planning before formulating, drafting, and establishing a better development policy strategy. The main objective of this research is to analyze and identify subsectors in the manufacturing industry sector that have leading comparativeness and leading competitiveness in Jambi Province. Main data of this study are secondary data of districts and cities in Jambi Province during 2011?2015, which were sourced from the Statistics Indonesia and the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas). Data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis methods, namely Location Quotient analysis and Shift Share analysis. Results of the study show that manufacturing industry subsectors of Jambi Province that can be classified as leading comparative and leading competitive subsectors are timber/wood products industry, paper/goods industry, rubber/rubber goods industry, and furniture industry.

Abstract

Impact of Capital Expenditure, Investment, and Labour on Gross Regional Domestic Product of Manufacturing Sector in Jambi Province The manufacturing sector contributes significantly to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Jambi Province. However, despite the realization of regional government capital expenditure, labor, and private sector investment continued to increase, the contribution of this sector showed a negative trend and its growth rate also experienced a slowdown. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital expenditure, investment, and labor on GRDP of the manufacturing sector in Jambi Province. This study uses secondary data of districts and cities in Jambi Province obtained from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Regional Investment Board (BPMD), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, and other supporting agencies during 2011?2015. This research begins with descriptive analysis method to analyze the development of the variables observed, then concluded based on quantitative statistical analysis method to analyze the effect of capital expenditure, investment, and labor on the economy of the manufacturing sector. Results of the analysis indicate that capital expenditure, investment, and labor simultaneously and partially have positive and significant effects on the GRDP of the manufacturing industry sector in Jambi Province.
