Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (2) the obstacles in the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (3) the solution from the role of the headmaster to overcome the obstacles which emerge in actualizing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative method and the embedded single research strategy. The population of this research was the headmaster, the teachers,  the administrative staff members, and  the students of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. The samples of this research were taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were gathered through interview, observation, document analysis from informants, places, events, documents, and files. The data were then analyzed by using the interactive analysis technique. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta was done through the activities of discipline building, such as: (a) giving motivation to the teachers and the administrative staff members; (b) giving the leadership role model by having discipline; (c) making efforts in paying attention to the welfare of the teachers and the administrative staff members; and (d) implementing discipline enforcement; (2) the obstacles which emerge in building discipline in SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta are as follows: (a) the internal obstacles, such as: the characters of personality of some teachers and administrative staff members which are difficult to accept advice and less responsible in doing their job and tasks; and (b) the external obstacles which emerge in building the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; and (3) the solutions to overcome the obstacles are as follows: (a) enforcing the rule and making discipline development; and (b) intesifying the shared activities with the teachers and the administrative staff members.Keywords: principal's leadership role, Teacher and Employee Discipline

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of work stress, work support, and salary satisfaction on nurse turnover intention (Study on RSU Nirmala Purbalingga).The data were collected through distribution of questionnaires to 95 nurses on RSU Nirmala Purbalingga using random sampling. The data test technique used in this research includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression using SPSS software.The results of this study indicate that work stress has positive and significant effect on nurse turnover intention, work support has negative and significant effect on nurse turnover intention, and salary satisfaction has negative and significant effect on nurse turnover intention.

Abstract

The measure of success of a field of staffing is performance. This is because the field itself and employees need feedback on their efforts, so the performance of each employee needs to be assessed. Many factors can influence employee performance, such as financial compensation, leadership style and motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial compensation and leadership style on work motivation, the effect of work motivation on employee performance and the influence of leadership style on employee performance.The study population was employees of Bank Jatim, Bojonegoro Branch, Jl. Mastrip No. 70, Bojonegoro, East Java, totaling 129 employees. Samples taken 100 employees. The type of data used is primary data. Methods for collecting data are questionnaires. The analysis technique used is path analysis, with previously tested by instrument test and classic assumption test.The results showed that: Financial compensation has a significant effect on work motivation. Leadership style has a significant effect on work motivation. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. Leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

Masalah yang terjadi pada sinyal suara adalah terjadinya noise yang mengkontaminasi proses pengolahannya. Dalam hal ini, diperlukan suatu proses reduksi noise untuk mengurangi noise yang terdapat pada sinyal suara. Reduksi noise di sini dilakukan dengan menerapkan transformasi wavelet diskri yang terdiri dari tiga langkah utama yaitu: dekomposisi sinyal, proses thresholding dan rekonstruksi sinyal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji metode universal threshold untuk mendapatkan nilai threshold dan aplikasinya pada kasus sinyal suara yang terkontaminasi Gaussian noise. Metode yang dilakukan adalah kajian literatur referensi-referensi terkait transformasi wavelet diskrit dan sinyal suara. Nilai threshold yang digunakan dalam proses thresholding ditentukan dengan metode universal threshold yang dikaji agar threshold yang diperoleh memberikan hasil optimal ketika dibandingkan dengan koefisien wavelet  hasil penerapan aturan hard atau soft thresholding. Hasil aplikasi dan simulasi reduksi noise dengan wavelet menunjukkan bahwa nilai SNR berbanding terbalik dengan nilai MSE, sedangkan nilai nilai threshold sebanding dengan nilai MSE.

Abstract

Filariasis is one of the health problems in Indonesia due to its long-term effect on permanent disability ifnot treated properly. The purpose of this study is to describe people with filariasis in Meranti District ofRiau Province 2009-2014. The methods is a descriptive retrospective cross-sectional study using medicalrecords of patients diagnosed with filariasis in hospitals and all health centers in the District of Meranti.The result showed 38 patients with filariasis, and the highest case of filariasis were in Puskesmas PulauMerbau (94.8%). Distribution by gender, age and type of occupation as follows: men by 71%, 86.8% of thesubject belong to the age group 15-64 years old, and 65.8% were outdoor workers, 52.6% of lymphedemawas reported and the location of lymphedema mostly found on each leg (18.4%). All lymphedema werebelong to all the stage not exceed stage III. All cases of filariasis in this study were managed according tothe standard treatment.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from ASPERINDO that e-commerce business has significantly growing, it may boost the number of express shipments increased from year to year,  logicly it cause good impact to JNE as well yet the fact is JNE still status quo in national scale of market share table, JNE only had 7,9% share  whereas Tiki the competitor had 70,7% share on market share. The data provided ASPERINDO there would be rise a question ?why JNE and Tiki had huge gap on market share?? although JNE and Tiki  established on the same year back than. Because JNE is service corporate than the study will used service approach method that is SERVQUAL (it?s stand for service quality) method. This study is aimed to analyse the level of importance and performance of JNE Regional Semarang?s service. Variables used in this study are service quality which consists of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and tangibles with the level of customer satisfaction. These variables are used to measure the Importance and Consumer Assessment of quality of services rendered the company. The research data collected data from 100 respondents of JNE customers are selected by incidental sampling through a questionnaire consisting of closed questions and opened questions. Customer Satisfaction Index is used to analyse the level of overall customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, to identify performance improvement priorities, Importance Performance Analysis method was used which consists of two components, specifically: the gap analysis (gap) and quadrant analysis. Results showed that overall customer is quite satisfied of performance of JNE express shipping service with customer satisfaction index. The application of quadrant analysis showed that indicators of dimension of reliability which should be evaluated for immediately repaired their performance, because the performance has been given not as expected by JNE customers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya kontribusi yang signifikan dari motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemampuan kognitif mata pelajaran Fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar; (2) mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya kontribusi yang signifikan dari pemanfaatan sumber belajar terhadap kemampuan kognitif mata pelajaran Fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar; (3) mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya kontribusi yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dan pemanfaatan sumber belajar terhadap kemampuan kognitif mata pelajaran Fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sejumlah 306 siswa dengan sampel 32 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis datanya adalah teknik analisis regresi linier ganda.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) Ada kontribusi positif yang signifikan dari Motivasi Berprestasi dan Kemampuan Kognitif Fisika siswa dengan nilai rx1y > rtabel sebesar 0,406 (2) Ada kontribusi positif yang signifikan dari Pemanfaatan Sumber Belajar dan Kemampuan Kognitif Fisika siswa dengan nilai rx2y > rtabel sebesar 0,412 (3) Ada kontribusi positif yang signifikan antara Motivasi Berprestasi dan Pemanfaatan sumber belajar secara bersama-sama dengan Kemampuan Kognitif Fisika siswa dengan nilai rx1x2y > rtabel sebesar 7,48.Kata kunci : Motivasi Berprestasi, Sumber Belajar dan Kemampuan Kognitif

Abstract

In its history, politically, liberalism of Islam accepts deep momentum during Sultanate-Autonomy in Turkey, where Islamic countries, especially Turkey and Egypt, which had got in touch with western world, had big influences toward Islamic societies’ attitude. This influence made the Turkish and the Egyptian understands rigid. Islamic scholars of law seem confused to see new thing in Islamic societies. A case will directly be instructed “illegal” or haram if the case itself cannot be found in the school of Hanafi’s classical books. Then, this paper is intended to contribute some points of view of this school by means of answering some main questions about the truth of Islamic liberal considered as a secular movement under the guise of Moslem, the truth of the discourse of Islamic liberalism presents the past for the sake of modernization and the truth of Islamic liberalism that is irrelevant to the Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Dalam Undang-undang Nomor 23 Tahun 1992 tentang Kesehatan, pasal 23 menyatakan bahwa upaya Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) harus dilakukan di semua tempat kerja, yang memiliki pegawai paling sedikit 10 orang. RSIJ Pondok Kopi (RSIJPK) adalah salah satu Rumah Sakit Islam di Jakarta yang memiliki upaya preventif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan melalui skrining kesehatan pegawai atau yang disebut dengan Medical Check-Up (MCU) yang dipantau oleh Unit Manajemen Risiko (Manrisk). Berdasarkan pengamatan tersebut, dicatat bahwa pelaksanaan MCU, belum sesuai sebagaimana mestinya, berdasarkan Permenaker No. 02 / Men / 1980. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi lapangan, review dokumen, dan wawancara mendalam. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori sistem yaitu input, proses, output, umpan balik, dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa masalah terjadi pada input dan proses, pemeriksaan kesehatan sebelum bekerja dan berkala, adalah kurangnya dokter dan klinik khusus untuk MCU, dan ini menghambat penerapan MCU. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya ada dokter bersertifikat Hiperkes di RSIJPK dan klinik khusus untuk implementasi MCU. Selain pemeriksaan kesehatan khusus, disarankan agar pemeriksaan kepada karyawan yang akan dirotasi ke tempat lain untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan karyawan sebelum bekerja di tempat kerja yang baru, dan untuk pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala, disarankan agar semua karyawan diberikan hasil pemeriksaan sebagai patokan bagi karyawan untuk menjaga kesehatannya. Kata kunci: Pemeriksaan Kesehatan (MCU), Kualitatif, Masukan, Proses, Keluaran
