Abstract

Abstract: Abstract:Damage that occurs on some road segment causing huge lossed, especially for road users such as a long travel time, traffic jam, incident, and etc. In general there variety factor that caused of road damage such as age of the road that has been passed, puddle onthe road surface that cannot flow due to the poor drainage, trafic load excessively repetitive (overloaded). Which can cause life time is shorter than planning. Improper planning, poor monitoring and the implementation is not accordance with the existing plan, in addition to the lack of maintenance costs, delays in budget spending and priorities of improper handling also be the cause. It should be noted in order to avoid decreased in the quality of roads due to damage on road surface. The purpose of this study is to determined damage of the road extent/level using PCI method (Pavement Condition Index), determined the effect of road damage to the speed of vehicle using Regression Analysis method. This research take location in the road segment of Blang Bintang Lama road, and Teungku hasan Dibakoi each road is divided into 7 that being reviewed according to the level of damage. Primary data collected by field actual survey in the form of geometric data, extensive damage to the road, and vehicle speed. The results showed that damage of the road is very affected on the vehicle speed as seen on Blang Bintang Lama in V segment the value of PCI is 10 with failed condition and vehicle speed just reached 5.31 Km/h, while in VII segment PCI value is 87 with perfect road condition (excellent) vehicle speed reached to 58.34 Km/h, so that the equation obtained by regression analysis of Y = (3,571)(0,032) ?, while for segment in Teungku Hasan Dibakoi road as seen in III Segment PCI value is 4 with failed condition with vehicle speed just 4.95 Km/h, while in the VII segment PCI value is 88 with perfect road condition (excellent) vehicle speed reached to 68.64 Km/h, so the equation obtained by regression analysis of Y is Y= (3,822)(0,035) ?. This suggests that higher levels of road damage will affected to slower speed of vehicle, otherwise the lower level of damage road, will make the higher speed of vehicle.Abstrak: Kerusakan jalan yang terjadi di beberapa ruas jalan menimbulkan kerugian yang sangat besar terutama bagi pengguna jalan seperti waktu tempuh yang lama, kemacetan, kecelakaan, dan lain-lain. Secara umum penyebab kerusakan jalan ada berbagai sebab yaitu umur rencana jalan yang telah dilewati, genangan air pada permukaan jalan yang tidak dapat mengalir akibat drainase yang kurang baik, beban lalu lintas berulang yang berlebihan (overloaded) yang menyebabkan umur pakai jalan lebih pendek dari perencanaan. Perencanaan yang tidak tepat, pengawasan yang kurang baik dan pelaksanaan yang tidak sesuai dengan rencana yang ada, selain itu minimnya biaya pemeliharaan, keterlambatan pengeluaran anggaran serta prioritas penanganan yang kurang tepat juga menjadi penyebabnya. Hal ini perlu diperhatikan agar tidak terjadi penurunan kualitas jalan akibat kerusakan permukaan jalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan tingkat dan jenis kerusakan jalan dengan menggunakan metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index), mengetahui pengaruh kerusakan jalan terhadap kecepatan kendaraan dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Regresi. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi pada ruas Jalan Blang Bintang Lama dan ruas Jalan Teungku Hasan Dibakoi yang masing-masing jalan terbagi atas 7 segmen yang ditinjau menurut tingkat kerusakannya. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan survey aktual lapangan yaitu berupa data geometrik jalan, luas kerusakan jalan, dan kecepatan kendaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan sangat berpengaruh terhadap kecepatan kendaraan seperti yang terlihat pada ruas jalan Blang Bintang Lama pada segmen V dengan nilai PCI 10 kondisi jalan gagal (failed) dengan kecepatan kendaraan mencapai 5,37 Km/Jam, sedangkan pada segmen VII nilai PCI sebesar 87 dengan kondisi jalan sempurna (excellent) kecepatan kendaraan mencapai 58,34 Km/Jam, sehingga didapat persamaan dengan metode analisis regresi Y= (3,571)(0,032) ?, sedangkan untuk ruas Jalan Teungku Hasan Dibakoi terlihat pada segmen III nilai PCI 4 kondisi jalan gagal (failed) dengan kecepatan mencapai 4,95 Km/Jam, sedangkan pada segmen VII nilai PCI sebesar 88 dengan kondisi jalan sempurna (excellent) kecepatan kendaraan mencapai 68,64 Km/Jam, sehingga didapat persamaan dengan metode analisis regresi Y= (3,822)(0,035) ?. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kerusakan jalan maka semakin rendah kecepatan kendaraan, sebaliknya semakin rendah tingkat kerusakan maka semakin tinggi kecepatan kendaraan.

Abstract

Abstract: Shopping Centre is one of land use utilization that will lead to trip attraction of vehicles. Trip attraction of vehicles on shopping centre will cause on traffic towards highway network system around it. Banda Aceh is the capital of the province of Aceh, which has several shopping centre among others: Hermes Palace Mall, Suzuya Mall, Barata Shopping Centre, komplek Sinbun, Pasar Aceh Baru dan Pante Pirak Sp. 5. A large number of shopping centre in Banda Aceh will certainly increase the number of visitors who came, so did the number of employee. The purpose of this study is to model the statistical relationship between the magnitude of the vehicle towing the motorcycle and shopping centre parameter. The parameters in this study is reflected by building area, land area, parking area, number of shops, employees and cashiers. Processing data using multiple regression analysis methods, models generated then tested statistically. the results showed a motorcycle towing equation Y1 = 59.587 + 0.323X6  with variable X6 is number of cashiers.Keywords : Trip attraction, shopping center, motorcycle, regression modelAbstrak: Pusat Perbelanjaan merupakan salah satu jenis tata guna lahan yang akan menimbulkan tarikan pergerakan kendaraan. Tarikan pergerakan kendaraan yang terjadi pada pusat perbelanjaan di kota Banda Aceh akan menimbulkan dampak lalu-lintas terhadap sistem jaringan jalan yang ada disekitarnya. Kota Banda Aceh merupakan Ibukota  provinsi Aceh yang  memiliki beberapa pusat perbelanjaan antar lain : Hermes Palace Mall, Suzuya Mall, Barata Shopping Centre, komplek Sinbun, Pasar Aceh Baru dan Pante Pirak Sp. 5. Banyaknya jumlah pusat perbelanjaann di Kota Banda Aceh tentu akan meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung yang datang, demikian pula dengan jumlah pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat model hubungan statistik antara besarnya tarikan kendaraan sepeda motor dengan parameter pusat perbelanjaan. Parameter dalam penelitian ini dicerminkan oleh luas bangunan, luas tanah, luas lahan parkir, jumlah gerai, jumlah karyawan dan jumlah kasir. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda, model-model yang dihasilkan kemudian di uji secara statistik . hasil menunjukan persamaan tarikan sepeda motor Y1 = 59,587 + 0,323X6 dengan variabel X6 adalah jumlah kasir.Kata kunci : Tarikan, pusat perbelanjaan, sepeda motor, model regresi.

Abstract

Abstract: Porous asphalt has low stability but has high permeability caused by the amount of voids in mixture. For that need to be added other materials to increase the value of the stability on a mixture of pavement. . In this study, the added material used is gum rosin. Gum rosin is obtained by distillation/distillation of the sap from the tree pinus merkusii shaped solid clear yellow to dark yellow. The objecteve of this research is to determine the characteristics of porous asphalt mixture by substituting gum rosin on asphalt penetration 60/70. The specimens preparation of Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) followed Australian Asphalt pavement Association (AAPA) Method by  parameter of Cantabro Loss (CL), Asphalt Flow Down (AFD), and Voids In Mix (VIM). Open graded  aggregate was applied and variation in bitumen content of 4,5 %; 5%; 5,5%; 6%; and 6,5% excluding gum rosin. Marshall test and calculatio, CL, and AFD were conducted afterward to obtain OAC. Subsequently, the OAC obtained was used to prepare some specimens of the OAC with  variations  ± 0.5 from the OAC and gum rosin variations of 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%. Permeability and durability test then required specimens at the best optimum asphalt content. Based on this research, the content of the best OAC was 5.56% with gum rosin content of 8% as bitumen substitution material. Besides, almost  all parameter values met the specification of the AAPA (2004). The addition of rosin affect the value of the characteristic of Marshall, CL, and AFD, which increasing the value of stability, VIM, CL, and AFD  along with the increasein percentage of gum rosin. According to the best OAC the value of stability was 554.81 kg, the value of VIM was 18.04%, the value of CL was 20.66%, and the value of AFD was 0.28%.Abstrak: Aspal porus memiliki stabilitas yang rendah namun memiliki permeabilitas tinggi yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya rongga dalam campuran. Untuk itu perlu ditambahkan material lain untuk meningkatkan nilai stabilitas pada campuran perkerasan. Pada penelitian ini bahan tambah yang digunakan adalah gondorukem. Gondorukem merupakan hasil destilasi/penyulingan getah dari pohon pinus merkusii yang berbentuk padat berwarna kuning jernih sampai kuning tua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik campuran aspal porus dengan substitusi gondorukem ke dalam aspal penetrasi 60/70. Pembuatan benda uji untuk penentuan kadar aspal optimum (KAO) digunakan metode Australian Asphalt pavement Association (AAPA) dengan parameter nilai cantabro loss (CL), asphalt flow down (AFD), dan voids in mix (VIM). Gradasi agregat yang digunakan adalah gradasi terbuka dengan kadar aspal 4,5 %; 5%; 5,5%; 6%; dan 6,5% tanpa variasi penggunaan gondorukem. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian dan perhitungan Marshall, CL, dan AFD untuk mendapatkan KAO. Setelah KAO diperoleh, dibuat benda uji pada KAO dan variasi ± 0,5 dari nilai KAO dengan variasi substitusi gondorukem  sebesar 2%, 4%, 6%, dan 8%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian KAO terbaik pada 5,56% dengan substitusi 8% gondorukem, dimana semua parameternya telah memenuhi spesifikasi yang disyaratkan AAPA (2004). Penambahan gondorukem berpengaruh terhadap nilai karakteristik Marshall, CL, dan AFD, dimana meningkatkan nilai stabilitas, VIM, CL, dan AFD seiring dengan peningkatan persentase gondorukem. Pada KAO terbaik diperoleh nilai stabilitas sebesar 554,81 kg, nilai VIM sebesar 18,04%, nilai CL sebesar 20,66%, dan nilai AFD sebesar 0,28%.

Abstract

Abstract: Takengon - Blangkejeren road is one of the cross national roads connecting Central Aceh Regency with Gayo Lues Regency. This road is in the mountainous terrain and often passed by heavy loaded vehicles so that often damaged. To overcome the frequent damage to this road segment, it is necessary to conduct a research on road pavement damage. The purpose of this research is to know the condition of road damage based on the combination of International Roughness Index (IRI) and Surface Distress Index (SDI). This study uses direct observation method in the field by conducting a visual survey of road pavement conditions. The result of the research shows that the total damage level of road surface is 30,54% while the road surface is not damaged by 69,46% from total of road that become research object, that is 12,63 Km divided into 6 road segment. For the overall condition of roads reviewed 45.02% good, 45.81% medium, 6.87% lightly damaged, 2.29% heavily damaged.Abstrak: Ruas jalan Takengon ? Blangkejeren merupakan salah satu ruas jalan nasional lintas tengah yang menghubungkan Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dengan Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Jalan ini berada pada medan pegunungan dan sering dilalui kendaraan dengan beban yang berat sehingga sering mengalami kerusakan. Untuk mengatasi kerusakan yang sering terjadi pada ruas jalan ini perlu diadakan suatu penelitian mengenai jenis kerusakan perkerasan jalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kerusakan jalan berdasarkan kombinasi nilai International Roughness Index (IRI) dan Surface Distress Index (SDI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengamatan langsung dilapangan dengan melakukan survey secara visual terhadap kondisi perkerasan jalan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat kerusakan keseluruhan permukaan jalan adalah sebesar 30,54% sedangkan permukaan jalan yang tidak mengalami kerusakan sebesar 69,46 % dari total panjang jalan yang menjadi objek penelitian, yaitu 12,63 Km yang dibagi menjadi 6 buah segmen jalan. Untuk kondisi keseluruhan jalan yang ditinjau 45,02 % baik, 45,81 % sedang, 6,87 % rusak ringan, 2,29 % rusak berat.

Abstract

Abstract: Road construction in Indonesia in the stage of implementation has not been able to fully meet the needs of transportation, it is indicated by the presence of early failure due to an increase in vehicle load and climate change. Many attempts have been made to improve the quality of the mixture, one with a polymer modified asphalt. Cigarette filters are made of cellulose acetate thousands of polymer chains, once discharged into the environment, cigarette filter making a big issue of the environmental impact. The content in the form of cigarette filter waste cellulosic polymer asitate which has thermoplastic properties, binding with plasticizers, resistant to heat and pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to study polymer modified asphalt with subtitution filter cigarettes waste into the asphalt. In this study, cigarette filter waste is substituted into the asphalt at 2%, 3%, and 4%. The aims of this study is able to know the utilization of filter cigarettes waste as improving the quality of asphalt concrete and efficient use of asphalt and waste reduction. The Impact of using cigarette filter waste higher in AC-WC mixture tend increased the parameter Marshall, especially the value of stability and MQ. The highest  MQ and stability value obtained in AC-WC mixture with 4% subtitution  cigarette filter waste and 5.81% asphalt content, those are 3107.67 kg and 112.81 kg / mm. No big changes in the VMA and density value for all substitution percentage variation of cigarette filter waste. VFA and flow value decrease with increasing the percentage of cigarette filter waste, while the VIM value tends to increase. The durability value of AC-WC mixture with and without substitution percentage variation cigarette filter waste meets the requirements, those were 90%.Abstrak: Pembangunan jalan di Indonesia dalam tahap pelaksanaanya belum mampu sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi, hal tersebut terindikasi dengan adanya kerusakan dini akibat dari peningkatan beban kendaraan dan perubahan iklim. Banyak usaha telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas campuran, salah satunya dengan menggunakan aspal modifikasi polimer. Filter rokok terbuat dari ribuan rantai polimer selulosa asetat, setelah dibuang ke lingkungan, filter rokok membuat masalah besar akan dampak lingkungan. Kandungan di dalam limbah filter rokok tersebut berupa polimer selulosa asitate yang memiliki sifat termoplastik, berikatan dengan plasticizers, tahan terhadap panas dan tekanan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian aspal modifikasi polimer dengan mensubtitusikan limbah filter rokok ke dalam aspal. Pada penelitian ini limbah filter rokok disubtitusikan ke dalam aspal sebesar 2%, 3%, dan 4%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat diketahuinya pemanfaatan limbah filter rokok sebagai upaya peningkatan mutu campuran aspal beton serta penghematan penggunaan aspal dan pengurangan limbah. Dampak penggunaan limbah filter rokok yang semakin tinggi dalam campuran AC-WC membuat peningkatkan pada nilai parameter Marshall, terutama nilai stabilitas dan MQ. Nilai stabilitas dan MQ tertinggi didapat pada campuran limbah filter rokok dengan persentase limbah filter rokok 4% dan kadar aspal 5,81% yaitu 3107,67 kg dan 112,81 kg/mm. Nilai density dan VMA tidak terjadi perubahan yang besar untuk semua substitusi variasi persentase limbah filter rokok. Nilai flow dan VFA mengalami penurunan seiring dengan peningkatan persentase limbah filter rokok, sedangkan nilai VIM cenderung meningkat. Untuk nilai durabilitas campuran AC-WC dengan dan tanpa substitusi variasi persentase limbah filter rokok telah memenuhi persyaratan yaitu 90%.

Abstract

Most of the filler material is a natural product such as rock ashes that increasingly limited and possesses high economic value. The further innovations in filler substitute by using alternative materials are demanded such as waste saw dust to become economical and unlimited resources. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of sawdust and Portland cement as a filler over AC-WC aggregate mixture characteristics. Further, sawdust and the Portland cement includes as the substitution. The filler substitution sawdust and Portland cement respectively amounted to 75% ASK - 25% SP, 50% ASK - 50% SP, 25% ASK - 75% SP and 0% ASK - 100% SP. Moreover, the experiment produced Substitution of 6.1% KAO for 75% sawdust - 25% Portland cement, Substitution of 6% for 50% sawdust - 50% Portland cement, Substitution of 5.85% for 25% sawdust - 75 % Portland cement and Substitution of 5.31% for 0% sawdust - 100% Portland cement. The best resulted KAO found in 0% sawdust substitution and 100% portland cement with 5.31%. The high-grade stability value with 30 minutes of regular water immersion is 1300,38 kg within 0% ash of sawdust substitution and 100% of Portland cement. The lowest stability value with 30 minutes of regular water immersion is 1056.09 kg within 75% sawdust substitution and 25% of Portland cement. The sawdust and portland cement durability value accomplished the Bina Marga 2014 specification (≥ 90%). The ANOVA test proved the addition of sawdust and portland cement in the asphalt mixture affects the stability value of the regular water immersion.

Abstract

The supply of stone dust as filler and asphalt as binder is limited, therefore it is necessary to use an alternative to filler and asphalt import. The problem is expected to be overcome by the presence of rice husk ash as a filler and natural asphalt of Buton Island (Asbuton) as a binder. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixture by using rice husk ash as a filler and asphalt penetration 60/70 as binder with the addition of Asbuton. The specimens were made into two major groups: (i) the specimens using stone dust and asphalt pen 60/70 (ABA), and (ii) the specimens using rice husk ash and asphalt pen 60/70 with the addition of asbuton (ASA). The last group was performed with four variations: 0% (ASA 0), 5% (ASA 5), 10% (ASA 10), and 15% (ASA 15) over the total weight of the mixture. Total specimens were 75, each has 15 specimens. Asphalt contents used were 4.5% to 6.5%. Specifications used the standards of the Departemen Permukiman dan Prasarana Wilayah (2005) by using Marshall method Optimum asphalt contents (OAC) for each mixture were 5.6% (ABA), 6.0% (ASA 0), 6.3% (ASA 5), 5.9% (ASA 10), and 5.8% (ASA 15). In sum, the asphalt concrete mixture using rice husk ash as filler was able to compete with the one using stone dust as filler, and therefore can be used as alternative materials to road pavement construction.

Abstract

Abstract Road deterioration which occurs faster than the road design life often occurs lately. The objective of this study is to assess the vehicle damage factor caused by excessive load and the effect of excessive load on the pavement design life. This research was conducted with Weigh in Motion and traffic volume surveys. The study was conducted on the station of KM 226 + 075, in the Bireuen - Bts Kota Lhokseumawe road section. Data analysis was performed using the Pedoman Perencanaan Tebal Lapis Tambah Perkerasan Lentur dengan Metode Lendutan. The results showed that the value of Vehicle Damage Factor for excess load condition is 696 % greater the one of normal load conditions. Based on the Cumulative Equivalent Standard Axle analysis, it is known that the road service life is reduced by 4.3 years compared to the design life, which is 10 years. Keywords: excessive load, Weigh in Motion, Vehicle Damage Factor, design life  Abstrak Kerusakan jalan yang terjadi lebih cepat daripada umur desain sering terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji faktor daya rusak kendaraan yang diakibatkan oleh beban berlebih dan pengaruh beban berlebih terhadap umur desain perkerasan jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan survey Weigh in Motion dan survei volume lalulintas. Lokasi penelitian adalah pada titik KM 226 + 075 di Ruas Jalan Bireuen - Bts Kota Lhokseumawe. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Pedoman Perencanaan Tebal Lapis Tambah Perkerasan Lentur dengan Metode Lendutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Vehicle Damage Factor untuk kondisi beban berlebih lebih besar 696 % dibandingkan dengan nilai Vehicle Damage Factor untuk kondisi beban normal. Abstract

Trans Koetaradja bus is managed by the government of Aceh Province to improve the urban public transport system. In order to appeal people to use this bus, the local government provides subsidy and applies the free fare, until today. It is expected that, when the subsidy is revoked in a few years ahead, people will get accustomed to use this bus. This research was conducted to observe public perceptions on the desired fare through ability to pay (ATP) and willingness to pay (WTP) analysis. Primary data was collected by doing survey over distributing questionnaires to the citizen. The bus corridors observed were on corridors I, III, and IV. The results showed that, the ATP-WTP of students were above the operator?s proposed tariff for all corridors. However, to attract those students to use the bus, it is recommended that the operator's proposed tariff (IDR 2,000 for each corridor) should be applied. For the general public category (PNS/TNI/Polri, Private Employees, Housewives, and other communities), the proposed tariff for each corridors were in between the average value of ATP-WTP. In that sense, tariff determination can be applied based on the average WTP value. However, the operator's proposed tariff for the public is still also feasible, subject to improving the level of services.

Abstract

Trip generation in the household is very influential on the activity it has. Routine activity that should be done by an individual itself also called as mandatory activity. Also with the trip generation performed can be affected by social status owned, one of which is gender. Gender is the division of roles between men and women which can have a difference. The occurrence of traffic density due to the characteristics of community within a household of trip generation making the purpose of this research is to know the socio-economic characteristics, demography and tip behavior, knowing factors which influence the trip generation of a household based on gender for mandatory activity and to get the model, and the difference of utility and probability value. Area of this research are 4 sub-districts in Banda Aceh city which are Jaya Baru sub-districts, Banda raya, Lueng Bata, and Kuta raja sub-district with the sampe numbers of 400 samples. Method used is Model of Binomial Logit Difference then processed by using SPSS v20. Characteristics of Socio-economic, demography, and trip behavior which produced by 19 variables in this research one of its variable is gender that is 54% for men and 46% for women. From the utility model obtained, then the factors that affecting the movement of the household based on mandatory activity on men are number of family members and activity duration, while for women are number of family members who attend school and activity duration. Probability for the household Trip generation is probabilitas ≤ 3 movement and > 3 movements based on the mandatory activity for men are 75% and 25%, while for women are 72% and 28%.
