Abstract

Before 2006, biofuel mandate consumption was expected to contribute to increase economic growth and job creation, decrease poverty, mitigate climate change, and improve energy security. The objective of the study is an analysis of implementation of biofuel mandate in Indonesian economy. This research applied the long run of Recursive Dynamic General Equilibrium (RDGE) model by Indonesian Forecasting. Three simulations are used to increase of biofuel demand, seconds to increase of biofuel agriculture land expansion, deforestation, and rise fixed capital, and to last change agricultural and biofuel productivity. The policy of biofuel mandate implementation is effectively to increase economic growth, rise household income, and improve carbon emission, but less effective to built food security and feed, decline employment by industri for non biofuel agriculture, and descend forest and other forest outputs in Indonesia. The policy implication is to increase output for non biofuel agriculture by rising productivity and policy of import and inflation targetting to take sides for welfare farmer?s and food employee?s.  Keywords: Biofuel, RDGE, food security, carbon emission

Abstract

Al-Si 11.8 wt% alloy which classified to eutectic Al-Si composition usually used to produce a flat casting product with high pressure die casting process. Alloying element become an important things to determine behavior and characteristic of aluminum. Copper added into aluminum to improve strength and hardness, but there has no many studies on the effect of copper on fluidity. This fluidity study is using vacuum suction test method and the microstructure is observed with SEM/EDS. Spectrometer test has been used to find out chemical composition of sample. The result of this study shows that with copper addition from 2.25 wt% to 3.11 wt%, the fluidity value has increased 24.11% on 680oC pouring temperature. On 3.11 wt% copper composition, fluidity value has increased 14.38% from 640oC pouring temperature to 700oC pouring temperature.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The research about determination of Cu(II) by adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV) was conducted. AdSV method was applied to the determination of copper in ultra trace concentration. The parameters of ligand, accumulation potential, accumulation time, pH and ligand concentration was studied. Calcon was found as complexing agent that give the highest peak current. The optimum condition are accumulation potential -0,7 V, accumulation time 60 s, pH 10, and calcon concentration 0.12 mM. The relative standar deviation (n=8) at 10 µg/L standard concentration were obtained 4,27 %. This method was applied to determination of Cu(II) in sample from Batang Air Dingin, Lubuk Minturun and Muara Padang. The sample concentration were 4,778 µg/L and 5,189 µg/L for Batang Air Dingin and Muara Padang, respectively. The recovery of this method was studied for sample from Muara Padang and 98,31 % was obtained. Key words :   Adsorptive, Stripping, Voltammetry, Calcon and Copper

Abstract

This research aims to analyze certified and non-certified coffee agribusiness value chains found in West Lampung District, analyze the efficiency of certified and non-certified coffee agribusiness value chains and, the formulation of coffee price in the certified and non-certified coffee agribusiness value chains in West Lampung District. The study is conducted in three sub-districts namely Air Hitam, Kebun Tebu and Sumber Jaya. Total respondents coffee farmers are 146 coffee farmers, consist of 85 certified coffee farmers and 61 non certified coffee farmers? chosen by cluster random sampling method. Total respondents are 20 sellers; consist of 9 group sellers? collector, 7 local sellers? collector, 2 wholesalers and 2 exporters chosen by snowball sampling method. Research data was collected in November 2016 to January 2017 and analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research result showed that there were three channels in the agribusiness value chain of certified coffee and two channels in the agribusiness value chain of non-certified coffee. Channel three in the agribusiness value chain of certified coffee and channel two in the agribusiness value chain of non-certified coffee have been efficient with formulation process of price certified and non-certified coffee in the agribusiness value chain of coffee in West Lampung, the buyer was a price setter and the seller was as a price taker.Key words: certified coffee, non-certified coffee, value chain

Abstract

Keamanan menjadi faktor utama dalam kehidupan manusia. Ada beberapa alat atau sensor yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menjaga keamanan tempat tinggal. Salah satunya adalah sensor gerak yang menggunakan inframerah secara pasif atau yang lebih dikenal dengan PIR (Passive Infra Red). Alat ini akan mendeteksi gelombang inframerah yang ditimbulkan oleh makhluk hidup yang berada dalam jangkauannya dan akan mengeluarkan suatu output yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Dalam penelitian ini diteliti bagaimana cakupan pendeteksian sensor, posisi sensor yang dapat menjangkau cakupan terluas, serta makhluk hidup atau benda apa saja yang bisa dideteksi oleh sensor ini. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Mikroprosesor Teknik Elektro Unissula dengan menggunakan 4 buah sensor PIR KC7783R didapatkan hasil bahwa sensor dapat menjangkau cakupan terluas ketika diletakkan diketinggian 200 cm dari lantai dengan sudut kemiringan 750. Jarak 500 cm merupakan titik terjauh untuk mendeteksi manusia, sedangkan untuk mendeteksi tikus maksimal 180 cm, kucing 230 cm dan nyala api lilin 210 cm. Perubahan suhu udara di laboratorium senilai 220C sampai dengan 310C tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendeteksian sensor. Kata kunci: sensor PIR, sudut kemiringan sensor, suhu

Abstract

Abstrak- Bising kendaraan, adalah permasalahan yang sangat mngganggu bagi lingkungan yang dekat dengan lalulintas ramai. Solusi yang dikehendaki bukan berupa ruang kedap suara, namun ruang yang bebas dari bising kendaraan namun tetap mendengar suara yang dikehendaki. Penelitian ini meneruskan penelitian yang melakukan eksplorasi penghapusan bising kendaraan dengan menggunakan algoritma LMS (Least Mean Square) Adaptif, dimana dalam penelitian tersebut telah ditemukan nilai-nilai optimal dengan menggunakan dua tingkat proses. Penelitian ini membuat suatu model dalam bentuk hardware untuk menghapus bising kendaraan, tanpa harus kehilangan informasi yang diinginkan.Hardware yang digunakan adalah DSP (Digital Signal Processor) tipe TMS320C6713.Kata kunci: LMS adaptif, DSP tipe TMS320C6713, bising kendaraan

Abstract

Based on literatures, institutions (rules of the game) influence strategy that leads to performance of enterprise. If the relationships hold for SOE, the improvement of institutional environment will enable the improvement of SOE's performance. The aim of this research is to prove the causal relationship of institution-strategy and strategy-performance in SOE environment, and to extend the relationship to institution-performance of SOE. Likert-scaled data have been collected from expert's opinion survey. Structural equation modeling analyses found: 1) institutions significantly influence strategy; 2) strategy does not influence performance significantly; and 3) institutions directly affect performance of SOE. The reserach has been completed with historical institutional analysis to elaborate how institutional factors have emerged and developed. It found a chain of historical events that have become critical junctures and shaped the institutional factors of SOE. The research showed that favorable institutional environment is importance as pre-condition to improve SOE's performance, and it needs time and consistent efforts to develop.Keywords: enterprise performance, historical institutional analysis, institution-based strategy, state-owned enterprise, structural equation modeling

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation inhabited by people with a background of religious, ethnic, and social groups. The one hand, this diversity becomes the social capital development of the nation, and on the other hand be the latent potential for social conflict. This is what makes the slogan of tolerance is not grounded to the community. The type of research that the author use a qualitative research technique is the analysis diskriptive analysis methods, data analysis process includes three phases, namely (1) description, (2) formulation, and (3) the interpretation. With research results, 1) Tolerance in this regard in line with the principles of Islamic law because, of all Muslims in Indonesia recognize the intellectual principle tolerance as a principle that should be protected or safeguarded in a pluralistic society. The attitude of tolerance is a manifestation of the principle of equality to engender the nature please help and social caring attitude among our fellow citizens, which in turn will bring forth a sense of unity and social solidarity is strong in the life of society.

Abstract

Telah dianalisa orbital heating rates pada material body G2-SAT, salah satu program pengembangan satelit di bidang Mekatronika LAPAN Rancabungur. Analisa ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah material body pada G2-SAT memerlukan kontrol lebih lanjut seperti pemakaian material pelindung dalam hal ini MLI (Multy Layer Insulation dan penggunaan whitepaint pada solar array) jika G2-SAT mengalami pemanasan di orbitnya. Peralatan yang dipakai untuk menganalisa orbital heating rates ini adalah perangkat lunak Thermal Desktop 5.0 dengan menggunakan pendekatan Monte Carlo yang terdapat di dalamnya serta dengan mempertimbangkan semua data yang berhubungan dengan properties material, power dan orbit. Dalam pendekatan Monte Carlo ini berkas cahaya (array) dipancarkan dari permukaan sedangkan hal yang harus dilakukan adalah mencari permukaan mana yang terkena berkas cahaya. Selain itu, analisis tersebut dilakukan dengan berpijak dari konsep awal sistem thermal satelit yang telah ditentukan serta sumber radiasi panas yang terjadi pada G2-SAT. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa grafik yang menggambarkan besaran distribusi total absorbed flux yang terjadi pada G2-SAT body selama mengalami heating rates di orbitnya. Dari hasil analisa diketahui, sampai di orbit material tersebut memerlukan kontrol thermal lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze coffee farming income in Tanggamus District, behavior of coffee farmers in managing environmental risk, and factors that influence behavior of coffee farmers in managing environmental risk. This research was conducted in Sinar Sekampung Village, Air Naningan Sub-District and Gunung Meraksa Village, Pulau Panggung Sub-District in August 2017. The sample in this study involved 44 certification coffee farmers chosen using cluster random sampling method and 24 noncertification coffee farmers chosen using census method. The difference of coffee farming income is analyzed using Independent Sample t-test, while the difference of behavior is analyzed using Mann Whitney Test and the factors is analyzed using binary logistic regression. The results showed that there was no difference in coffee farmers income between certification farmers and noncertification coffee farmers. Sixty-three percents of certification coffee farmers were risk takers and 87,50% of nonacertification coffee farmers were risk neutral. Factors that influence behavior of coffee farmers in managing environmental risk were land area, coffee farming income, and participation of farmers in 4C certification program.Key words: coffee certification, environmental risk, coffee farming income
