Abstract

Periodontal disease is the second largest illness suffered by the community in Indonesia (73.50%), one of its etiologies is tartar which is found in 46.2% of the population. The impact of periodontal disease on systemic health include cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, premature birth and low birth weight. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors related to patient?s tartar cleaning behavior on BPG Primary Health Center II, East Denpasar City. This study uses quantitative methods with survey design and cross sectional approaches. Sample size is 185 people. Results showed the majority (70.3%) of respondents did the less practice. Factors which connected to cleaning the tartar formation practice is less support of medical worker (68,1%), and (48,6%) of respondent have middle educational level and the most dominant factor which affect to cleaning tartar practice is medical worker. Variables that are not associated with patient practice of tartar cleaning are age, sex, income, experience of toothache, knowledge, attitudes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran word square  berbantuan media gambar terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas III SD di Gugus XIV Kecamatan Buleleng  Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel Penelitian ini adalah penelitian semu (quasi experiment), dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 46 siswa, yang terdiri dari 23 siswa kelas III SDN 2 Tukadmungga sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 23 siswa kelas III SDN 2 Pemaron sebagai sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data keterampilan berbicara dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berbentuk tes unjuk kerja (performance). Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor keterampilan berbicara kelompok eksperimen adalah 20,13. Sedangkan rata-rata skor keterampilan berbicara kelompok kontrol adalah sebesar 14,43. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (thitung = 7,419 > ttabel =2,021). Ini berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan berbicara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media gambar dan siswa yang dibelajarkan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran Word Square berbantuan media gambar pada kelas III. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media gambar terhadap keterampilan berbicara kelas III di Gugus XIV Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

The aim of this activity was to empower the kolok community through making local turmeric loloh based on the potential in Bengkala Village. Kolok community development is carried out with the guidance of Competency Standards (SK) and Basic Competencies (KD), then translated into the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) skills. This empowerment activity has multiple benefits, namely complete illiteracy, and independent business skills. As a kolok community independent business with the technical implementation as follows. (1) Expressing the desire to try the kolok community based on their interests and potential, (2) Practicing a skill that has the opportunity to become a business field in accordance with available local interests and potential. The approach used in this activity is a pedagogical, functional, and thematic approach. The methods used in learning activities are lectures, discussions, and direct practice. The results of the activity showed that the kolok community had hygienic skills and variety in taste. Besides skills, it also adds income, and completes independent business literacy (KUM).

Abstract

As the outermost part of the three Hindu religious templates the event is an implementation of the yajna. Ngalabaanin Jero Ngurah Wates Desa tradition as a bhuta yajna ceremony carried out by the community in the village of Pakraman Pedawa, Banjar District, Buleleng District is isidental where the phenomenon and the occult guides become the benchmark in every implementation. Moving from the phenomenon, can be formulated research problems are as follows: 1) What is underlying Ngalabaanin Ngurah Wede Desa tradition; 2) What is the Function of Ngalabaanin Jero Ngurah Wates Desa tradition; 3) How is the implication Ngalabaanin Jero Ngurah Wates Desa tradition. This research uses religious theory, structural functional theory, and theory of symbolic instructionalism in a qualitative research with phenomenology approach and data collection method consist of observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study are: 1) Basic Ngarabaanin Jero Ngurah Wates Desa tradition namely: the tri rna, animism, implementation of religious emotions. 2) Function of Ngalabanin Jero Ngurah Wates Desa tradition that is: pangruat (panyupatan), harmony, prosperity, sacred victim. 3) The implementation of Ngalabaanin Jero Ngurah Wates Village tradition has been implicated in the social and religious life of the community. The social implications are: building social harmony and anticipating social conflict, while the religious implications are: increasing sraddha and bhakti, increasing understanding of the teachings of tattwa, internalizing the teachings of Hinduism.

Abstract

This research was aimed atfinding out the improvement in  essay writing skill in Scientific Writing course among the students of Elementary School Teacher Department of class G  in semester VI  in the academic year  2015/2016 after implementing Qauntum  Learning  with Mind Mapping Strategy.  This study used classroom action research design that was  done gradually in multicyles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. This study was done at Jurusan PGSD, FIP (Elementary School Teacher Department, Faculty of Education), Undiksha in the odd semester in the acacemic year  2015/2016 from April to November. The subjects  were  the students of class G in semester VI at Elementary School Teacher Department, Faculty of Education with the total number of 43 students.  The data  on  the students’  essay writing skill were obtained  by using  essay writing skill test. The result showed that  (1)  the mean score of  the students’ essay writing skill in cycle I was  73.4, in cycle II it reached  81.5, (2) the number of students  who belonged to  “good” and “very good” categories  in cycle I was only 58.5,  in cycle II it reached 88.4%, and (3) based on  the computationi of  gain score it was found that the improvement  in  the students’ writing skill was  0.333, falling into  “average” category. It can be concluded that  the implementation of  Quantum Learning with Mind Mapping Strategy could improve  essay writing skill of the sudents in class G in semester VI  in  Elementary School  Teacher  Education Undiksha in the academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari atas rendahnya hasil belajar belajar Bahasa Inggris disekolah dasar khususnya setelah implementasi kurikulum 2013 dimana waktu pembelajaran bahasa inggris jauh berkurang dari 4 jam pelajaran seminggu pada Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) menjadi hanya 2 jam pelajaran seminggu pada kurikulum 2013. penelitian pre-eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data pada penelitian ini didapatkan dengan metode wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai thitung sebesar 5,34. Untuk mengetahui nilai ttabel dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 44 taraf signifikansi (α)= 0,05 diperoleh nilai ttabel= 2,023. Dengan membandingkan nilai thitung dan ttabel diperoleh perbandingan thitung>ttabel ini berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dan dari rata-rata  , diketahui   kelompok eksperimen sebesar 20,86 dan   kelompok kontrol sebesar 15,18. Hal ini berarti   eksperimen >   kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian strategi strategi Enjoyable Learning berbantuan media audio visual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas II SD Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the significant effect of reading comprehension skills between groups of students who are taught by using learning strategies of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with flip chart and group of students who are not learned by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with flip charts on on fifth graders of Tejakula district primary schools  cluster IV academic year 2017/2018. This research is quasi experiment, with non-equivalent research design post-test only control group design. The sample of the study was 41 students, consisting of  21 students of grade V SD N 3 Bondalem as experimental group and 20 students of grade V SD N 4 Bondalem as the control group. Sample selection using random sampling technique. Skill reading comprehension data is collected with multiple choice test instruments. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that thitung> ttable (tcv = 16,559 > tobs = 2,042). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference of reading comprehension skills of students who are taught by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with  flip chart and students who are not learned by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) chart on on fifth graders of Tejakula district primary schools  cluster IV academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar PPKn melalui penerapan model pembelajaran quantum berbantuan media audio-visual dan puzzle siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Banjar Jawa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi atau evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V C SD Negeri 3 Banjar Jawa yang berjumlah 32 orang terdiri dari 19 orang siswa perempuan dan 13 orang siswa laki-laki. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes yang instrumennya berupa tes objektif. Data hasil belajar PPKn dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata hasil belajar PPKn siswa pada siklus I yaitu 76,6 dengan  M% sebesar 76,6% berada pada kategori sedang dan berada pada interval 65 – 79 dengan kategori sedang. Pada pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar PPKn siswa yaitu 88,2 dengan M% sebesar 88,2% dan berada pada interval 80 – 89 dengan kategori tinggi. Peningkatan yang terjadi jika dihitung menggunakan rumus Gn skor yaitu sebesar 0,49 yang jika dikonversikan pada tabel kriteria peningkatan hasil belajar berada pada kategori sedang (0,30-0,69).  Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran quantum berbantuan media audio-visual dan puzzle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas V C semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di SD Negeri 3 Banjar Jawa. Kata kunci: hasil belajar PPKn, media audio-visual dan puzzle, model pembelajaran quantum

Abstract

Good or bad results of the child's development relies heavily on education (influences) received by children from various educational environment In such interactions, of course, there is the influence of both positive and negative. The development of more modern era, and the competition of life increasingly difficult, challenging each individual to improve the their quality. Therefore, it is necessary to be ready to compete with the needs of times. This is certainly not free from the influence of the environment in the form of education involving attitudes, behavior, and personality of the individual. A positive environment will make the behavior of students or learners positive as well.  It is because learners will mimic the behavior in their surroundings. It involves family environment, school environment, and the community.

Abstract

            Peningkatan profesionalistas guru dalam bidang pendidikan terutama pendidikan agama dan pembangunan tidak lepas dari peranan motivasi pengawas terhadap produktivitas kerja warga sekolah. Pemimpin sekolah pada suatu organisasi sekolah dalam menyediakan pelayanan yang mampu bersaing dalam era globalisasi seperti saat ini. Kualitas pemimpin sekolah yang baik adalah sebagai dasar utama dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang mampu bersaing dalam dunia global, tentunya diperlukan pengelolaan secara profesional dalan bidang pendidikan terutama di tingkat pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Pengawas sekolah sebagai tenaga kependidikan mempunyai peran yang sangat strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja sekolah melalui pembinaan, pengawasan di bidang akademik dan manajerial. Beratnya tugas seorang pengawas sekolah dalam melaksanakan tugas pokok, fungsi dan tanggung jawab serta wewenangnya itu hanya dapat dipikul oleh seorang pengawas yang memiliki kompetensi yang baik. Motivasi kerja pengawas Agama Hindu di Kecamatan Ubud sangat baik, karena mampu memberikan rasa nyaman dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas dalam mengelola pembelajaran, mampu membina rasa social, persahabatan, rasa kekeluargaan terhadap guru-guru Agama Hindu, menghargai dan menghormati kerja keras guru dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya, dan memberikan dorongan kepada guru-guru dalam mengembangkan setip potensi atau kempuan terhadap perkembangan karier guru.
