Abstract

Abstract: Values of Character Education in Nyirok Tradition of Negara Batin Customary Community and Its Implications in the Local Wisdom and Ethics Education Course. One of Begawi ceremonies in Lampung traditional community is marriage and nyirok tradition is part of the ceremony as the first step prior to the implementation of marriage contract. This tradition has values of character that can be applied in education. Aim: The aim of this paper is to document the ethical values that exist in cultural behaviour, in nyirok tradition in particular. Method: This study is descriptive in nature which was conducted through a qualitative approach. The data were collected through document analysis, audio-video recordings, and interviews. Findings: The study found five confessions revealed through the jewelry attachment ceremony in the form of ali, bracelets, eardrops, chains, jungsarat fabrics and seven-color ropes. At the time of the attachment in each stage it is followed by an oral tradition in the form of utterances called pisaan. Nyirok tradition has educational values. The educational values that are embodied in the procession of jewelry attachment in the tradition include expressions of love, acknowledgment of belonging, friendship, empathy, sincerity, and responsibility. Conclusions: This nyirok tradition can be used as knowledge for students in the development of both oral tradition and character values knowledge.Keywords: character education, local wisdom, ethics education, customary community, nyirok. Abstrak: Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam Tradisi nyirok Masyarakat Adat Negara Batin dan Implikasinya dalam Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Etika dan Kearifan Lokal. Salah satu upacara Begawi pada masyarakat adat Lampung adalah Begawi perkawinan. Di dalamnya terdapat tradisi nyirok sebagai langkah awal sebelum pelaksanaan akad nikah. Tradisi nyirok memiliki nilai karakter yang dapat di aplikasikan dalam pendidikan. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian didasarkan pada upaya inventarisasi nilai-nilai etika yang terkandung dalam perilaku budaya khususnya budaya Lampung yaitu nyirok. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi dokumentasi, rekaman, dan wawancara. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menemukan lima pengakuan yang diungkap melalui upacara pemasangan perhiasan dalam bentuk ali, gelang, subang, rantai, kain jungsarat dan tali tujuh warna. Pada saat pemasangan dalam setiap tahapan terdapat tradisi lisan dalam bentuk tuturan yang dinamakan pisaan. Tradisi nyirok memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan terkandung dalam prosesi  pemasangan perhiasan pada tradisi nyirok, yaitu ungkapan cinta, pengakuan memiliki, silaturahmi, empati, keihlasan, dan bertanggung jawab. Kesimpulan: Tradisi nyirok dapat dijadikan pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa dalam pengembangan pengetahuan tradisi lisan dan nilai-nilai karakter.Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, kearifan local, pendidikan etika, masyarakat adat, nyirok. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v10.i1.202005

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the activity of scientific approach based in Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia book for grade VII of SMP/MTs published by Erlangga. It used descriptive qualitative method. The data source was Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia book for grade VII of SMP/MTs published by Erlangga. The result of this research was found that there were 35 patterns of the scientific approach in Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia book for grade VII of SMP/MTs published by Erlangga.Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kegiatan pendekatan saintifik yang terdapat pada buku Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMP/Mts terbitan Erlangga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku Mahir berbahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMP/MTs terbitan Erlangga. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 35 pola pendekatan saintifik pada buku Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMP/MTs terbitan Erlangga.Kata kunci: buku teks, kegiatan, pendekatan.

Abstract

This research aimed to explain the factor and forms ofcode mixingandcode switchingatDepartment of Language Education and Indonesian art and the implication of Indonesian study in SMA. This research used descriptive qualitative design. The data were taken by using listening technique of entangle to speak, free technique of entangle to speak, and tape recorder.The data analysis was using transcribing, choosing, collecting, marking, clasifying, analzying, and presenting the resultsof research.The results showedthatthe caseof codearethe internal code switchingas much as41timesandthe external code switching9 timesandcode mixingwhicharemixedcodewordas much as57 times,the phraseas much as25 times,basteras much as2 times,andclauseas much as16 timesandcan beimpliedtoIndonesian language learninginschoolasteaching materials.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan bentuk-bentuk dan faktor penyebab alih kode dan campur kode pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dan implikasinya pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Datadiambil dengan menggunakan teknik simak libat cakap, teknik bebas libat cakap, dan perekaman. Analisis data dengan cara mentranskripsikan, memilih, mengumpulkan, menandai, mengklasifikasikan, menganalisis, dan menyajikan hasil penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi alih kode yaitu alih kodeinternsebanyak 41 kali dan alih kodeeksternsebanyak 9 kali dan campur kode yaitu campur kode kata sebanyak 57 kali, frasa sebanyak 25 kali, baster sebanyak 2 kali, dan klausa sebanyak 16 kali dan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA.Kata kunci: alih kode, campur kode, pembelajaran bahasa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the technique of text-based material presentation in the Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia book for SMP/MTs grade VII by Erlangga curriculum 2013, those are (1) material presentation of inductive-patterned; (2) material presentation of deductive-patterned; (3) material presentation of mixing-patterned. This research used descriptive-qualitative method. The data source of this research was Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia book for SMP/MTs grade VII by Erlangga. The result showed that in that book, there are 91 the technique of material presentations text-based, they are (1) 33 presentation techniques of inductive-patterned; (2) 35 presentation techniques of deductive-patterned; and (3) 11 presentation techniques of mixing-patterned (inductive-deductive); (4) 12 new variations of material presentation.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan teknik penyajian bahan berbasis teks pada buku Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia Kelas VII SMP terbitan Erlangga Kurikulum 2013 yang meliputi: (1) penyajian bahan berpola induktif; (2) penyajian bahan berpola deduktif; (3) penyajian bahan berpola campuran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku teks Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia SMP/MTs Kelas VII kurikulum 2013 terbitan Erlangga. Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan peninggalan cerita rakyat, termasuk cerita Radin Djambat yang ada di Lampung. Cerita Radin Djambat memuat nilai-nilai perjuangan, persahabatan, dan filosofi yang dapat dijadikan teladan bagi perkembangan dan pembangunan budaya bagi masyarakat Lampung secara khusus dan masyarakat Indonesia secara umum untuk kehidupan saat ini dan masa datang. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan piranti kohesi substitusi dalam legenda Radin Djambat, sebagai pelansir martabat dan budaya masyarakat Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi melalui pendekatan intertekstual yang bersifat kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa piranti kohesi substitusi yang terdapat dalam cerita Radin Djambat meliputi piranti yang bersifat anafora dan katafora. Piranti kohesi substitusi yang bersifat anafora ditemukan dalam bentuk substitusi nominal, verbal, dan klausal. Selanjutnya,  piranti kohesi substitusi yang bersifat katafora yang ditemukan hanya dalam bentuk substitusi nominal dan klausal. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi masyarakat akademisi (peneliti), guru/dosen, mahasiswa, tokoh adat, dan masyarakat luas.ABSTRACTIndonesia is rich in relics of folklore, including the story of Radin Djambat in Lampung. Radin Djambats story contains the values of struggle, friendship, and philosophy that can be exemplary for the development and cultural development for the people of Lampung in particular and the people of Indonesia in general This study aims to describe the substitution cohesion device in the legend of Radin Djambat, as the spreader of the dignity and culture of the people of Lampung. The research method used is documentation study through qualitative intertextual approach. The results showed that the substitution cohesion devices contained in the Radin Djambat story include anaphoric and cataphoric devices. Anaphoric substitution cohesion devices are found in the form of nominal, verbal, and clausal substitutions. Furthermore, the cataphoric substitution cohesion device is found only in the form of nominal substitution and clause. The results of the research can be used as a reference for other researchers, teachers, lecturers, students, traditional leaders, and the others community.

Abstract

The internalization of character education in science learning through a variety of learning media has been researched recently, one of which is through the photonovela media which is the medium of insertion of character values in learning material. The focus of this research is; 1) developing photonovela learning media with character education on work material and energy, 2) knowing photonovela media feasibility as a supplement to physics learning with character education on work material and energy 3) knowing the response of students to photonovela media with character education in an energy material. This research is a Research and Development study adopted the development of Borg and Gall with the subject of junior high school students. The research instruments used were questionnaires by material experts, media experts, and junior high school physics teachers and questionnaires for students responses in the three schools. The results of the assessment by material experts obtained a percentage of 85%, the assessment of media experts was 90%, and the assessment of junior high school teachers was 84.16%, while the response of students in three junior high schools was 87.6%, 94%, and 93.6%. In conclusion, this study produced a product in the form of appropriate photonovela media as a supplement to physics learning with character education on business material and energy

Abstract

Every language expression (form) has its own characteristic. It is because of human as an individualls was different from others. This will also appear in Mario Teguh language use, in Golden Ways show. This research has three main objectives, which are to find the language use of Mario Teguh in Golden Ways show, analyze the language style of Mario Teguh based on rhetoric needs, and prepare this research an alternative material development source in Rhetoric Subject in the university. This research used descriptive method. Based on the research, Mario Teguh Golden Ways used some of language styles: anastrof, asindenton , polisindeton, perifrasis, erotesis, Zeugma, paradoxically, kiasmus, euphemism , litotes, tautology, and redundancy, and style of figurative language; metaphor , simile, inuedo, irony, personification, and sarcasm.Setiap ragam bahasa memiliki ciri khas tersendiri. Hal itu disebabkan karena sebagai manusia yang secara individual pasti berbeda satu dengan yang lain. Hal ini juga tampak pada ragam bahasa Mario Teguh dalam acara Golden Ways. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk gaya bahasa Mario Teguh dalam acara Golden Ways, untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa Mario Teguh berdasarkan kebutuhan beretorika, dan untuk dijadikan alternatif kajian pengembangan sumber belajar Mata Kuliah Retorika di Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Mario Teguh dalam Acara Golden Ways menggunakan gaya bahasa retoris; anastrof, asindenton, polisindeton, perifrasis, erotesis, zeugma, paradoks, kiasmus, eufemisme, litotes, tautologi, dan pleonasme, dan gaya bahasa kiasan; metafora, simile, inuedo, ironi, personifikasi, dan sarkasme.Kata kunci: gaya bahasa, sumber belajar, retorika.

Abstract

The problem in this research was how a news text was analyzed used critical discourse analysis involves three aspects. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe textual, discourse practice, and Sosiocultural Practice discourse of crime news in S.K.H Radar Lampung period from January to September 2015 and its development as an alternative medium of learning to write text exposition in High School. This study used descriptive qualitative method with critical discourse analysis models Faiclough Norman. Results of the research was a useful lesson plan as learning scenarios that can be developed in schools as an alternative medium of visual learning, research was very useful as pep and student motivation.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana suatu teks berita dianalisis menggunakan analisis wacana kritis dengan melibatkan tiga aspek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tekstual (textual), praktik wacana (discourse practice), dan praktik Sosiokultural (Sosiocultural Practice) wacana berita kriminal dalam S.K.H Radar Lampung Periode Januari-September 2015 dan pengembangannya sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Faiclough. Hasil penelitian berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran berguna sebagai sekenario pembelajaran yang dapat di kembangkan di sekolah sebagai alternatif media peraga pembelajaran, penelitian ini sangat berguna sebagai penambah semangat dan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci : teks berita kriminal, tekstual, prakaik wacana, praktik sosiokultural.

Abstract

Opah fish (Lampris guttatus) is one of the bycatch products of Tuna fish catch. The fish currently has become one of the major exported commodities of Indonesia. However, due to its natural deterioration, the fish contained high formaldehyde up to 200 ppm which can be one of health risk when consumed. The aim of this study is to obtain probabilistic health risk assessment data due to consumption of opah fish that contaminated with natural formaldehyde. The study was initiated with analyzing the formaldehyde content of the opah fish (Lampris guttatus) stored in freezing temperature for less than three months. To evaluate the population risk associated with consumption of formaldehyde-contaminated fish, a probabilistic exposure assessment was conducted in several categories based on individual characters who are likely to consume opah fish. Exposures are grouped by sex (male and female) and age (children and adults). To identify the best fit distribution in the probabilistic exposure analysis, fish consumption, body weight and natural occurrence of formaldehyde concentration in Opah fish were fitted in the @Risk®7.0 for Microsoft Excel 2010. Risk exposure analysis was conducted based on the formaldehyde content in Opah fish (real concentration) and two other scenarios of  2 and 4 times of the Opah fish real formaldehyde content. The result showed that Opah fish caught in Indonesian waters and stored in freezing temperature for less than three months, due to deterioration process, could naturally produce formaldehyde ranged from 4,62 ± 0,00 mg/kg to 58,10 ± 0,46 mg/kg. Consequently, based on the probabilistic exposure assessment, female children in Jakarta and Surabaya were considered as in health risk problems. Extremely, the further simulations using two and four times of formaldehyde concentration exposure revealed the health risk  for both gender and all age groups  of Jakarta and Surabaya residents. Therefore, the stakeholders i.e. government and policy makers should take some priorities in formulating a proper risk management strategy on the basis of knowledge of endogenous formaldehyde present in Opah fish as well as risk management strategies for the fish consumer in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the use of language in advertising related beverage products on television pragmatic analysis and analysis of symbolic violence, and use it as a material of learning to write slogan/poster in grade VIII of junior high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In the results, language in advertising showed that generally the ad using speech acts states something (locutions), providing information that the public interest (illocutionary) to invite them to use the advertised product. In addition, advertisers may also take advantage of speech implicature by present information that implicitly invites the public to buy or use the product. While symbolic violence advertisers use to give an image as the best product. Analysis of pragmatic and symbolic violence on television advertising language is further developed into a material of learning as examples and references to develop persuasive writing skills to students in the form of a slogan/poster.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemakaian bahasa pada iklan produk minuman di televisi terkait analisis pragmatik dan analisis kekerasan simbolik serta implikasinya sebagai media pembelajaran menulis slogan/poster bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII di SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa umumnya pemakaian bahasa dalam iklan menggunakan tindak tutur menyatakan sesuatu (lokusi), memberikan informasi yang menarik minat masyarakat (ilokusi) yang berdampak untuk mengajak mereka untuk menggunakan produk yang diiklankan. Selain itu, pengiklan juga memanfaatkan tuturan implikatur dengan mengemas sajian informasi yang secara tersirat mengajak masyarakat untuk membeli atau menggunakan produk tersebut dan kekerasan simbolik digunakan pengiklan untuk memberikan citra seolah-olah produk minumannya adalah yang terbaik. Analisis pragmatik dan kekerasan simbolik bahasa iklan di televisi ini selanjutnya diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran sebagai contoh dan refrensi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menulis persuasif kepada siswa dalam bentuk slogan/poster.Kata kunci: bahasa iklan, kekerasan simbolik, dan implikasi pembelajaran.
