Abstract

 The speed of sound in water varies depending on the condition. There are several factors that affect the difference in the speed of sound in water, such as the viscosity, temperature, pressure, etc. In this study, designed a tool to measure the speed of sound in water by utilizing ultrasonic waves.The ultrasonic sensor used consists of transmitter and receiver. The method used is indirect method by using sound reflection. The 40kHz ultrasonic wave used on the transmitter is generated by the AD9850 signal generator. Signals received receiver in and processed on a microcontroller through an LM393 comparator that makes the signal HIGH and LOW so it can be read directly on the digital pins of microcontroller.Measurements were made at a water temperature of 27oC with 1 meter test medium. The measurement is done on variation of distance from 5-90 cm with span of 5 cm. By knowing the time difference between the transmitted and received signal and the known wave range, the speed of sound in the water obtained in the study was (1394 ± 27) m / s with the determination coefficient of 0.998.

Abstract

Makin bertambahnya website yang bermunculan di Internet, membuat pengguna kadang mengalami kesulitanuntuk mencari website yang benar-benar tepat berisi topik dan kategori yang sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Hal ini seringdihadapi oleh pengguna yang baru saja mengenal dunia Internet. Maka dari itu muncul kebutuhan untuk mengkategorikanwebsite berdasarkan kategori tertentu. Kumpulan kata dalam suatu halaman web dapat dianggap sebagai suatu basis datayang membutuhkan pemrosesan yang cukup kompleks agar dapat mengambil informasi-informasi penting di dalamnya.Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi yang diharapkan mampu mengambil informasi yangtersembunyi di dalam kata-kata yang ada pada suatu halaman website tertentu, sehingga dapat digunakan untukmengkategorikan halaman website tersebut ke dalam kategori-kategori yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya. Aplikasi inimenggunakan metode-metode text mining untuk menganalisa halaman website tertentu. Tahapan proses pembelajarannyaadalah tahap tokenisasi, penghapusan kata-kata umum dengan menggunakan stop word list, dan stemming. Setelah itudilakukan pembobotan tingkat kepentingan kata-kata dengan metode TF-IDF, dan akhirnya dilakukan klasifikasi denganmetode Decision Tree.Dengan selesainya penelitian ini dihasilkan suatu aplikasi server dan client yang mampu menganalisa halamanwebsite tertentu dan mengkategorikan halaman tersebut sesuai dengan kategori tertentu berdasarkan data pembelajaran yangsudah dilakukan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Proyek Annotea adalah salah satu contoh demonstrasi konsep Semantic Web yang sedang dibangun oleh TimBerners-Lee tentang konsep kolaborasi dengan memanfaatkan anotasi web berbasikan pada shared metadata. Namun sampaidengan saat ini, minimnya implementasi Annotea Client yang ada membuat proyek Annotea menjadi kurang berkembang.Sebagian besar dari implementasi Annotea Client yang ada juga membutuhkan keahlian khusus dari pengguna ataumengharuskan pengguna untuk menginstall aplikasi tersebut didalam sistem komputer mereka. Selain itu adanya hambatandari aturan Same Origin Policy yang membuat implementasi Annotea Client berbasis web sangatlah jarang.Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah implementasi Annotea Client berbasis web yang mampu melakukanoperasi-operasi dasar sesuai dengan spesifikasi protokol Annotea sekaligus mampu mengatasi permasalahan yangditimbulkan akibat adanya aturan Same Origin Policy sebagai konsekuensi aplikasi berbasis web.Sistem sudah mampu mengatasi masalah yang ditimbulkan akibat aturan Same Origin Policy dengan melakukanproses transformasi dengan memanfaatkan XSLT dan penggunaan query string pada URL.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMediation is the process of resolving the parties who are assisted by a neutral third party who does not take sides as a facilitator where the decision is taken based on the agreement of the parties to the dispute. This study aims to find out how to mediate between employees because of a conflict at the House Of Celena Store.In the House Of Celena Store there are conflicts including conflicts between employees and employees and different opinions between employees and managers. This research is the result of interviews about conflicts that occur between employees and employees and different opinions between employees and managers. As well as the factors that influence the harmony of industrial relations between superiors or owners of the House Of Celena ShopThe results of this study indicate that the strategies that managers do to mediate between hostile employees and the opinions between different managers and employees.

Abstract

The Internet has the potential to provide universal and easy access to the various types of information services on a single multi-service, but unreliable quality connection can sometime prevent access to the Internet altogether. There are many efforts have been started to resolve the Internet access problem. The main idea behind them is to provide a set of objective parameters that can be used to compare and negotiate in a network. Relatively little emphasis has been put on issues concerning end users, especially on the relationship of user perception and Quality of Service parameters.  In order to implement Quality of Service schemes successfully, users must be taken into account to establish users´ subjective perceptions of Quality of Service.This paper is concerned to the study of mechanism of providing Quality of Service specification for Internet access in low-quality connection. We propose the conceptual model for the specification of user access and allow the users to specify their subjective preferences through the Quality of Service parameters. This model provides the alternative option for user access if resource availability in the system is limited. The user is given opportunity to define their access and determine the parameter for each application which they are chosen. The system will check the resource availability and then compare to the user preferences. In the case resource availability is lower than user preferences, the system can exchange to another option as determined by user requirements.

Abstract

Today Web technology allow web visitor to interact fully to web based system. The interaction accessibility development aims to make it more attractive and make visitor easier in system usage.  One of advantages of web based application is easiness in accessing data that not limited to place and time, while its disadvantage is waiting time for processing user request, so more time process in web application called then required waiting time is more. It is different from desktop based application that require application installation in computer used to access data, however, it has advantage in execution process of real-time instruction, without requiring data access waiting time to server. This  research has succeeded in applying RIA technology to build web with instruction response capability same as desktop application in case study of cellular phone reservation. Built system included catalog presentation, filterization, comparation, shopping basket and reservation process. Built application consisted of some layers including data alter as reservation system data storage, presentation later to present product and control layer to manage instruction response.

Abstract

As the internet technologyâ??s growth, many universities have developed online access integratedacademic system (IAS). Viewing studentâ??s transcript online is one of many important IASâ?? outputs. In fact, thatcapability can not eliminate paper based transcript, because itâ??s based on HTML which is downloadable,modifiable and unstandard layout. The solution for the last problem is XML document format, since it is easierto use especially for data interchange. Meanwhile, for the first two problems which can cause securityproblems, Crypthography can not ensure that the information is authentically and originally created by anauthorized user. Abstract

Salah satu topik terhangat Information and Communication Technology (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) saat ini adalah cloud computing. Teknologi cloud computing dihadirkan sebagai upaya untuk memungkinkan akses sumber daya dan aplikasi dari mana saja melalui jaringan Internet, sehingga keterbatasan pemanfaatan infrastruktur ICT yang sebelumnya ada dapat diatasi. NIST mendefiniskan Clud Computing adalah sebuah model untuk kenyamanan, akses jaringan on-demand untuk menyatukan pengaturan konfigurasi sumber daya komputasi (seperti, jaringan, server, media penyimpanan, aplikasi, dan layanan) yang dapat dengan cepat ditetapkan dan dirilis dengan usaha manajemen yang minimal atau interaksi dengan penyedia layanan. Pembahasan paper dimulai dengan uraian dari beberapa pendapat dan penelitian terdahulu tentang teknologi cloud computing, selanjutnya ditinjau kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dapat ditimbulkan atas implementasi cloud computing. Pembahasan diakhiri dengan kesimpulan apakah cloud computing merupakan solusi ICT ? dan saran yang dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan penguna dalam implementasi cloud computing. Abstract

Abstrak. Belajar dari Studi Kasus, Bagaimana Proses Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak Global Dieksekusi Pada Lingkungan Metode Agile. Tantangan terbesar dalam Software Development Global (GSD) adalah efisiensi waktu untuk mengembangkan. GSD menyediakan panduan untuk menggunakan proses bersama dengan muka seperti proses metode analisis terpadu atau metode air terjun. Meskipun, itu memberikan manfaat melalui dokumentasi yang komprehensif dan kejelasan, ia memberikan menghambat organisasi yang ingin menggunakan GSD tetapi dalam terburu-buru. Metode Agile mengklaim efisien dan pendekatan yang efektif untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak. Makalah ini laporan tentang bagaimana organisasi menggabungkan proses GSD dengan metode tangkas seperti eXtreme Programming (XP), Scrum, Agile Unified Process (UP Agile), Pengembangan Fitur Driven (FDD), dan Microsoft Solusi Kerangka Agile (MSF Agile). Makalah ini menggunakan studi kasus untuk mendapatkan pengalaman organisasi dan menjelaskan praktek yang berguna untuk organisasi yang ingin menerapkan GSD dengan metode tangkas. Kata Kunci: Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak, Agile, GSD Abstract. The biggest challenge in Global Software Development (GSD) is the efficiency of time to develop. GSD provides a guidance to use the process along with up-front analysis method like unified process or waterfall method. Although, it gives a benefit through comprehensive documentation and its clearness, it gives inhibits the organization which wants use GSD but in a rush. Agile methods claim an efficient and the effective approach to software development. This paper reports on how organizations combine the GSD process with agile methods like eXtreme Programming (XP), Scrum, Agile Unified Process (Agile UP), Feature Driven Development (FDD), and Microsoft Solution Framework Agile (MSF Agile). The paper uses case study to get organization experiences and describe useful practices for the organization that want to implement GSD with an agile method. Keywords: Software Development Lifecycle, Agile, GSD
