Abstract

One of critical challenge in knowledge management success is to motivate people share their knowledge to others. Prior?s research reveals that motivation as primary driver for people to perform knowledge sharing. Previous study also indicated people influenced by internal (intrinsic) and external (extrinsic) motivation when perform the knowledge sharing. The aim of this article is to investigate and explores how the elements of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation contribute to people intention in perform knowledge sharing in virtual communities. Moreover this study would confirm and understand how this knowledge sharing behavior occurs in Indonesia Context. Many literatures argue that different culture context would produce different of people belief and behavior. This study conducts a survey in a formal virtual community of practices members in one Indonesia Company. Two hundred and four respondents participated in this study. Data was analysis using SEM with Smart PLS Software. This study found that both of those motivations (intrinsic and extrinsic) are positively influences behavior of people knowledge sharing in formal Virtual Communities of Practices. In advance this studies indicate that extrinsic motivation is major motivation element that influencing people in perform knowledge sharing.

Abstract

Knowledge sharing is important activity for create a new knowledge. Information technology today brings big oppurtubity for people in conduct knowledge sharing. This media provides effective and competitive technology tool for knowledge sharing. The aimed of this study is to report the on process research that investigates the success of social media for sharing knowledge among scholars in Indonesia. This study focus to discuss the instrument development stages from the research especially discuss how content validity conduct for in instrument validation progress. Method for content validation progress was adopting from Beck and Gale approach in nursing area. This study resulted in a validated instrument from content validation approach.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between trust and onlineshopping experience with people behavior in online shopping. The impact of these twodimensions (trust dan online shopping experience) would be explored in this study. Thisstudy applied Theory Planned of Behavior (TPB) and incorporates with two other dimensions.A research model was developed for this study. The research model consists of sixhypotheses that describe the relation between variables. Research and hypotheses was validatedby online survey that conducted in online shopping group in Indonesia and participatedby 215 respondents. Data collected from the survey was analyzed using StructuralEquation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS software. This research reveals that people in Indonesiawhile perform online shopping is affect by trust dimension, however online shoppingexperience dimension was found has no affect to people behavior in perform their next onlineshopping activityKeywords: trust, online shopping experience, online shopping behavior, theory plane ofbehavior

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the success of social media as a means of sharing knowledge among scholars in Indonesia. By using Information System Success Model (DeLone and McLean), this study develops a research model that will be used to investigate what factors are contributing to the success of social media as tool for sharing knowledge among academics. This article would focus on the discussion of instrument development and validation process. The method for development and validation the research instrument was refers to the framework proposed by McKanzie et al. This study resulted in a validated instrument, the instrument could use by researchers who are interested in study social media success for knowledge sharing.

Abstract

The aim of ours research is to explore the relation between the elements of trust and risk and their impact on consumer behavior in the intention of use of mobile commerce services based on sales. The final goal of this research is to understand consumer behavior in the use of mobile commerce application services in Indonesia by considering the elements of trust and risk in consumer behavior. Finding from previous research have revealed that trust and risk is one of the critical aspects in the use of e-commerce services. This article focus is to discuss the development stages of research instruments development to be used in next survey agenda. By applying Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a theoretical basis of a conceptual model and the research instrument was developed. Models and instruments then validated through a pilot study involving 75 students as respondents. Survey data were analyzed via Smart-PLS software version 2 to ensure reliability level and validity of the instrument. This study resulted in a validated instrument that will be used to collect data from actual surveys

Abstract

The acceptance of information technology in the field of education becomes an interesting thing to discuss. Successful implementation of information technologies New Romany to support learning depends on continuance uses. It is believed that this is influenced by the satisfaction and task-fit of the technology used. Facebook is the most popular social media among students. This study aims to propose a model of satisfaction and task-fit perceptions of the use of social media in education. Research begins with a discussion of the theoretical framework, the identification of factors, develop models and research instrument. This study proposed models developed by adopting the Task-Technology Fit and Expectation-Confirmation Theory.  To build the model, five constructs have been chosen such as perceived task-fit, utilization, service quality, satisfaction and confirmation on intention to continuous use of technology. Besides that, base the theory that used in this research some hypothesis has formulated.

Abstract

Perkembangan kecanggihan teknologi berkembang semakin pesat, namun tidak diiringi dengan kondisi kesehatan manusia yang semakin rentan terhadap penyakit, keadaan ini sangat tidak baik bagi manusia, penyakit dating silih berganti dikarenakan kondisi cuaca , kegiatan manusia yang semakin kompleks, dan berbagai hal lainnya, Penyakit merupakan kondisi kelainan atau gangguan yang menyerang pada tubuh manusia, banyak sekali penyakit yang setiap tahun kian bertambah banyak, berbagai macam metode pengobatan pun selalu berkembang, salah satunya metode pengobatan herbal. Metode pengobatan herbal ini sendiri merupakan warisan turun temurun yang sudah sejak lama ada disekitar kita, namun pada kenyataannya banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui bahwa metode pengobatan herbal yang menggunakan ramuan-ramuan tanaman obat yang ada disekitar memiliki khasiat yang lebih baik daripada obat-obatan yang berbahan dasar kimia yang sudah banyak beredar di masyarakat. Saat ini media informasi mengenai pengobatan herbal yang ada seringkali hanya berupa buku yang tidak dapat secara mudah kita dapatkan. Jadi, untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada maka penulis mencoba untuk merancang aplikasi ensiklopedia penyakit sebagai media alternatif untuk memberikan informasi mengenai penyakit umum yang diderita manusia dan dilengkapi dengan pembuatan jus herbal,pengenalan khasiat tanaman herbal, dan terapi pijat refleksi yang diterapkan pada ponsel berbasis Android. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap identifikasi masalah,studi literature, pengumpulan data, analisis data, pengembangan sistem, dan pembuatan laporan. Dari hasil pembuatan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mengedukasi masyarakat untuk mengenal pengobatan herbal dan tanaman herbal yang ada disekitar kita.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Sentosa Primatama Jambi dalam kegiatan opersionalnya sudah mengimplementasikan sistem informasi untuk melakukan proses pengolahan data dengan cukup baik, tetapi masih belum adanya integrasi dan koordinasi yang baik dari masing-masing departemen. PT. Sinar Sentosa Primatama perlu melakukan sebuah evaluasi atas sistem informasi yang ada guna mengetahui seberapa efektif dan efisien dampak yang diberikan oleh sistem informasi terkait. Evaluasi yang dilakukan pada PT. Sinar Sentosa Primatama jambi menggunakan framework COBIT 5 dengan domain DSS (Deliver, Service, and Support). Dilakukan 3 tahapan analisis dalam penelitian yaitu menentukan tingkat kapabilitas saat ini dan yang diharapkan, melakukan analisis gap, dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian berupa tingkat kapabilitas saat ini dengan nilai 2.02 yang berarti pada level 2 managed process artinya proses-proses TI pada PT. Sinar Sentosa Primatama Jambi telah dilakukan, dicapai, dan dikelola dengan baik. Sedangkan tingkat kapabilitas yang diharapkan berada pada level 3 established process artinya proses-proses TI pada PT. Sinar Sentosa Primatama Jambi yang telah terkelola dengan baik, harus distandarkan misalnya pelayanan, pengelolaan keamanan dan keberlangsungan, dukungan layanan bagi pengguna, dan fasilitas operasional yang kemudian diberlakukan di seluruh lingkup organisasi.
