IPTEKS BAGI KEWIRAUSAHAAN (IbK)DI UNIVERSITAS NUSANTARA PGRI KEDIRIMohammd Rizal Arief 1, Puji Astuti2, Teguh Andriyanto31,2,3Universitas Nusantara PGRI KediriE-mail : 1) m.rizal.arief@gmail.comABSTRAKProgram Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan judul Iptek Bagi Kewirausahaan Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan kemampuan berwirausaha bagi mahasiswa agar mempunyai mental dan keterampilan kewirausahaan (entrepreneurship) dan membentuk unit inkubator bisnis Kampus. Program ini menyeleksi dan membina 21 mahasiswa agar dapat menjadi pengusaha mikro mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah pembelajaran praktis berbasis proyek bisnis dengan melatih dan menilai kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merintis dan menjalankan bisnis berdasarkan 4 kriteria penilaian yang meliputi : kepribadian, kerjasama, kepemimpinan dan keahlian pemasaran online untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan mengatasi hambatan keterbatasan pendanaan produksi. Pelaksanaan IbK ini meliputi 4 tahap yang terdiri dari perekrutan, pendekatan, pelaksanaan, dan monitoring evaluasi terhadap 21 calon tenant selama 8 bulan. Dari kegiatan tersebut, didapatkan hasil 16 tenant menjadi wirausahawan mandiri dan 5 orang masih belum berhasil.Kata kunci : Kewirausahaan, Pemasaran Online, Kampus, Mandiri, Tenant

Abstract

The brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens Stål. (Hemiptera: Delphacidae) is a destructive and widespread insect pest throughout the rice areas in Indonesia. Rice plant resistance is an effective method in controlling the brown plant hopper. However, the resistance sources and how their mechanism for imparting induced resistance against brown planthopper remains to be understood. This research was aimed to identify plant hair and protein banding patterns, as a genetic expression, of resistant and susceptible varieties. Identification of the variation of number of plant hair were carried out by using binocular microscope, while the protein banding patterns was detected by separation on SDS-Page. Co-variants analysis was adopted to identify the groups of resistant cultivars based on protein banding patterns. The results showed that plant hair on resistant rice cultivars are different with susceptible cultivars (resistance to Pelita I/1). The plant hair on resistant cultivars are larger/longer, more abudant and grew tighter than on susceptible cultivar (resistance to Pelita I/1). However the number of plant hair have no correlation with resistance level. In the absence of brown plant hopper infestation, the expression of protein total of resistant and susceptible cultivars are not clearly separated. The susceptible Pelita I/1 varieties showed a similar banding pattern to IR 26 (biotype 1), IR 42 (resistance to biotype 2) and IR IR 74 (resistance to biotype 3), but the four cultivars are not similar to the resistant cultivar IR 36 varieties (resistance to biotype 2). Our research showed that both plant hair and protein banding patterns can not be used to identify the plant resistance. Key word: rice plant resistance, plant hair, protein banding patterns

Abstract

Abstract Gender-responsive budgeting is an approach to integrate a kind of program for achieving gender equity and gender equality by budget intervention.  This approach should be embraced by local governments through the application of gender perspective to identify processes, resources and institutional mechanisms. In accordance, this research aims to identify and comprehend the implementation of gender-responsive budgeting in Semarang Municipal during the fiscal years of 2010-2013. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach with the study of secondary data as a collecting data technique, this research showed the findings as follows: (1) there is a local regulation enacted to implement gender-responsive budgeting to all local government institutions (SKPD) within Semarang Municipal (2) there are many programs to improve and accelerate gender equality but the budget allocation still not reflected gender-responsive budgeting yet; especially in terms of transforming gender commitment as a local fiscal innovation.Keywords :  Gender Mainstreaming, Gender-responsive Budgeting, Fiscal Innovation

Abstract

This research is aimed at improving the seventh graders? achievement of SMP N 2 Kubu in descriptive writing in the academic year 2010/2011 through the application of The Palm-Mosaics Creative Game. The subjects of the research were the seventh grade students of SMP N 2 Kubu especially class VIIE, on their even semester in the academic year of 2010/2011. The total numbers of the subjects were 20 males and 20 females. This is an action based research, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three sessions. Altogether, there were four steps in every cycle, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection.

Abstract

Autonomy and automoney ate the two things that couldn't be separated. For reaching autonomy effectiveness, local goverment should be supported by finance capacity. Within finance adequacy, local goverment, especially Cities and Regencies would have opportunity to mett the public services without interference by central goverment.According Tax Regulation Number 34 Year of 2000, Cities could collecting revenue from taxes as a local resources, the one is tax of advertisement. As a city with great of economic growth, advertisement could be the one of potential local resources. Almost strategic corner in all around of Semarang have changed as a centre of advertisement board. However, advertisement have not been optimum collected, and for this reason advertisement still having small contribution as a local revenue in Semarang City.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan ”Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Kepala Regu dan Supervisor di PT. Sinar Sosro KPB Ungaran Terhadap Sistem Kerja Mesin yang Terdapat dalam Manual Book Berbahasa Inggris” ini dilakukan dalam 10 kali pertemuan yaitu selama bulan Juni sampai dengan Agustus 2010. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan praktek. Dari 12 orang peserta yang ikut pelatihan, terdapat 6 orang dari departemen produksi yang mengikuti pre-test dan post-test secara tertulis. Hasil pre-test dan posttest menunjukkan adanya kenaikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 16,25% sebagai indikasi bahwa kemampuan peserta dalam memahami sistem kerja mesin yang terdapat pada manual book tersebut meningkat, terutama pemahaman dari sisi perawatan (maintenance) dan penanganan masalah mesin (trouble shooting). Sementara itu, untuk menunjang kemampuan pemahaman peserta, pelatihan English for Conversation juga diadakan. Pre-tes dan pos-tes sebagai hasil evaluasi dari pelatihan materi ini dilakukan scara lisan. Dari 12 orang yang tercatat sebagai peserta pelatihan, terdapat 7 orang yang mengikuti pre-test dan post-test. Ketujuh peserta tersebut terdiri dari 4 orang berasal dari departemen produksi, 1 orang berasal departemen quality control (QC), 1 orang dari departemen pembelian dan 1 orang berasal dari departemen akunting. Hasil tes menunjukkan adanya kenaikan nilai ratarata yaitu sebesar 12,50%. Para peserta pada umumnya merasa senang dengan diadakannya kegiatan ini karena dapat menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, dan kemampuan mereka berbahasa Inggris baik secara pasif maupun aktif. Para peserta juga menginginkan adanya pelatihan lanjutan karena bermanfaat bagi pengembangan diri (self development) dan bagi kemajuan perusahaan. Abstract

This study was intended to evaluate an existing writing curriculum in an English education program. The curriculum evaluation was conducted through a needs analysis, focusing on the needs of the students in the program. It is hoped that the result of the study would provide useful information for the program about writing curriculum they are implementing. There were four aspects of the curriculum that this study investigated: (1) the goals/objectives of the writing courses, (2) the approaches/methodology, (3) the classroom management, and (4) the class/program resources. More specifically, this study intended to know whether the course objectives/goals were appropriate with the needs of the students, whether the approaches/methodology were contextual and met the needs of the students, whether the classroom management was effective, and whether the class/program resources adequate to implement the goals/objectives. The study was categorized as a case study since it was a certain case happened in a certain context. The same case may not happen to other contexts that have different characteristics to the context of this study. The study employed qualitative/descriptive design by utilizing four methods of data collection: (1) document analysis, (2) classroom observations, (3) questionnaire, and 4) interview. The analysis of the data was conducted throughout the study; once a piece of data was gained, it was analyzed right away. The data was coded and categorized which then allowed for generating findings. There are four major findings of this study: (1) the goal/objectives of the writing courses were appropriate to the students’ needs; however, the courses did not accommodate the realization of the goals/objectives, (2) the approaches/methodology, to some degree, were not contextual and did not meet the needs of the students, (3) the classroom management, to some extent, was not effective, and (4) the class/program resources, for certain aspects, were adequate to implement the goals/objectives of the courses.   Key Words: curriculum, needs analysis, approach, method, classroom management

Abstract

English Language Teaching across Curriculum (ELTAC) merupakan salah satu dari Kelompok Mata Kuliah pengetahuan dan Ketrampilan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Universitas Negeri Semarang untuk mempersiapkan lulusannya agar dapat berpartisipasi dalam implementasi ELTAC di Indonesia; yaitu pengajaran content-area subjects atau mata pelajaran konten dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pengantar. Selama perkuliahan, mahasiswa membaca bacaan wajib dan membuat responnya, membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, melaksanakan microteaching, membuat refleksi atas microteaching yang telah dilaksanakan dan atas perkuliahan secara umum. Mahasiswa mendokumenkan proses pembelajarannya dalam bentuk portofolio.   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap bagaimana portofolio dapat membantu meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Data diambil melalui jurnal mengajar, refleksi akhir perkuliahan yang ditulis mahasiswa, analisis dokumen, dan konferensi informal dengan beberapa mahasiswa secara individu. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa pada tingkatan tertentu, portofolio membantu mendorong keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan ELTAC dan membawa mereka pada pencapaian nilai akhir yang memuaskan.   English Language Teaching across Curriculum (ELTAC) is a course in undergraduate English Education program, Semarang State University. It prepares the graduates to be able to participate in the implementation of ELTAC in Indonesia; the teaching of content-area subjects using English as the medium of instruction. Throughout the course, students are required to read course readings and write the responses, make lesson plans, conduct microteachings, and reflection on their microteaching and on the course in general. In the context of the study, students should document their learning processes in the form of portfolio. The study aims at revealing how portfolio could help promote students’ involvement in the course. Data is gathered through teaching journal, written end-of-course reflection, document analysis, and informal conferences with individual students. The study indicates that students’ involvement in the course is, to some degree, high with the help of the portfolio, resulting in highly satisfactory academic achievement.

Abstract

This  study  analyzes  the  impact  of  going  concern  opinion,  financial actor?s  like liquidity, solvability, cash flow, and non financial factor?s like size of  firm and age of firm on probability of financial distress.. Population that use in study is 468 listed manufacturing firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 -2013. This study analyzes with purposive sampling method. A criterion for firm with probability of financial distress is a company which is has interest coverage ratio less than 1 .By omitting companies with some data unavailable, the samples consist of 348 companies firmsLogistic regression used to be analysis technique.The result show that going concern opinion have positive significant afeect to financial distress, liquidity and cash flow have negative significant affect to financial distress, age of firm, solvability, and size of firm  not affect to financial distress

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menguji pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap komitmen organisasional di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati., (2) menguji pengaruh self efficacy guru terhadap komitmen organisasional di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati, (3) menguji pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati, (4) menguji pengaruh self efficacy guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati, (5) menguji pengaruh  komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati, (6) menguji komitmen organisasional memediasi pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati, (7) menguji komitmen organisasional memediasi pengaruh self efficacy guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten  Pati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field Reseach), dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati,  yang berjumlah 514 orang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Slovin diambil secara proposional sejumlah 230 guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengujian model analisis liner berganda, Uji R2, Uji F, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji efek mediasi (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi guru berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (2) self efficacy guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (3) kompetensi guru berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (4) self efficacy guru tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (5) komitmen organisasional berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (7) kompetensi guru lebih efektif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung terhadap  kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati daripada  melalui mediasi  komitmen organisasional, dan (8) self efficacy guru berpengaruh tidak signifikan dengan nilai sama baik secara langsung terhadap  kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati daripada  maupun melalui mediasi  komitmen organisasional.
