Abstract

Abstract– Based on NASA satellite observations of daily insolation in 2013 at the location of hotel Dangau latitude u = 0.0, latitude, longitude t = 109.3, an average of 5.0816 kWh / m² / day. The high profile solar insolation in this location compared to the national average of 4.80 kWh / m² / day. This suggests a potential source of solar energy as a source of thermal energy which can be used to produce hot water by using the tool Solar Water Heater (SWH) or PATS. By using the means already PATS utilizing renewable energy sources. This thesis examines the economic analysis in the installation of a solar water heater in buildings Dangau  hotel. The use Solar Water Heater  are commonly used for both residential dwelling, hospital, swimming pool, hotel. From the analysis of the economic feasibility of investment by using the method of calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), the result is greater than one, while the value of Discounted Payback Period (DPP) is smaller than the life of the investment for 20 years, and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) more greater than the Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR). Investment by comparing energy prices and tariffs PLN show satisfactory results, with rates of Rp.1.352 PLN / kWh (industrial tariffs B2 / TR) produces Discounted Payback Period (DPP) 12 years and 6 months. Assuming PLN rate increase every year 5%, then the value obtained during the DPP for 8 years and 11 months of the project's life for 20 years. These results indicate that investment in hotel Dangau Solar Water Heater  installation is feasible.   Keywords– SWH,  NPV,  DPP,  IRR, NASA, PLN rate.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIntroduction: HIV/AIDS sufferers must consume antiretrovirals every day and control routinely each month to take ARVs in the hospital. The condition make patients having a risk of lost to follow up attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the attitude of lost to follow-up on people living with hiv/aids with arv therapy at rsud dr. soetomo surabaya. Method: This study used descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The population were 135 patients and 100 patients were required as research participant with consequtive sampling. Independent variables were perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived barrier to action, perceived benefits of action, cues to action, and self efficacy. The dependent variable was lost to follow up behavior. Data were obtained by questionnaire and analyzed with Spearman's Rho. Result: There was a relationship between perceived susceptability (p=0.002), perceived severity (p=0.025), perceived barrier to action (p=0.022) and cues to action (p=0.011) with lost to follow-up behavior. There was no correlation between perceived benefit of action (p=0.196) and self efficacy (p=0.071) with lost to follow-up behavior. Discussion: Knowledge and awareness regarding the importance taking antiretroviral drugs regularly and control routinely needs to be increased for patients with antiretroviral drugs. Further researchers are advised to conduct in-depth research (qualitative research) related to the causes of lost to follow-up behaviour thus.

Abstract

Introduction: Five-finger hypnosis is a relaxation technique that can provide a relaxing and calming effect by recalling pleasant experiences that have been experienced so that they can have a positive effect on the vital-sign of respondents with fractures. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the influence of five-finger hypnosis auditory on vital signs: blood pressure, pulse frequency, respiratory frequency, and pain in clients with limb fractures. Method: This research uses quasi-experiment with post test only non-equivalent control group design. The total population is 57 patients and 54 respondents were obtained with consecutive sampling. The independent variable is a five-finger hypnosis auditory intervention and the dependent variable is systolic blood pressure, diastolic, frequency of frequency, respiratory frequency, and pain. Data were obtained from the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and observation sheets. Then the data were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney U Test. Result: There were differences between the treatment and control groups on systolic (p=0.002), diastolic (p=0.003), pulse frequency (p=0.003), respiratory frequency (p=0.000) and pain (p=0.001). Discussion: So the hypnosis auditory as a relaxation technique can have a positive influence on the respondent's vital sign which includes systolic blood pressure, diastolic, pulse frequency, respiratory frequency, and pain. It is expected that nurses can apply this therapy as a non-pharmacological therapy to patients with extremity fractures and other researchers can apply to patients with all types of fractures as well as the development of cultural cultures.

Background : Nursing theory of caring in the context of Islamic culture can be interpreted as the nurse facilitates the patient's worship and in turn, the nurse received a reward from God for this action (Lovering, 2008). Islamic nursing still not fully implemented inIslamic hospitals. This study aimed to understand the Islamic patients? worship experience.Method : The method used in this study was phenomenological study. Sample consisted 5 patients and 6 nurses who met inclusion criteria, recruited bypurposive sampling. This study was conducted at Haji General Hospital Surabaya and AisyiahIslamic Hospital Bojonegoroduring August to December 2013. Data were collected by interviewing respondents and analyzed using the seven step of qualitative data analysis by Collaizi.Result : The results showed that not all respondents conductIslamic worship during hospitalization, particularly the obligation performing prayers five times a day. This is due to physical weaknesses, and feel of uncleanliness. These conditionswere also weakened by the lack of spiritual nursing care by nurses. Nurses had provide patients with prayer time reminder, prayer kit,Qibla direction, wudoo kit, but nurses did not conduct Islamic caring assessment and nursing diagnosis. Moreover, spiritual nursing process was not documented because of the high workload.Discussion : Further discussion about Islamic nursing care and how it is fulfilled is needed. This can be about the best way to introduce worship to Moslem patients and how to perform it during illness. Nurses should also conduct a proper assessment about the patient?s spiritual needs and implementation of worshipand how they want these needs to be helped be nurses.

Abstract

Introduction: Asthma is a disease that often found in the community, according to the data from the World Health Organization in 2006, as many as 300 million people suffered from asthma and 225 thousand people died from asthma worldwide.Patients with asthma often use asthma exercise, pranayama yoga, deep breathing, Buteyko and upper body exercise as a way to help reduceasthma. Effectiveness of each of these exercises to improve expiratory lung capacity has not been identified. Methods: This study used quasi-experimental pre-post test design. The population consisted of 21peoples divided into 9 individuals each in Buteyko breathing exercises and upper body exercise. Samples were collected with purposive sampling. The independent variables were Buteyko exercises and upper body exercise, and the dependent variable was the peak expiratoryflow. Data were collected through the observation of peak expiratory flow using a peak flow meter. Data processing used T test with significance <0.05 and comparison of two techniques used independent T test with significance <0.05.Result: The result of T test analysis showed that p=0.000 indicating there was correlation between the two techniques in improving peak expiratory flow inbronchial asthma, and independent T test obtained p=0.078, indicating there was no difference between the two techniques in improving peak expiratory flow in bronchial asthma.Discussion: It can be concluded that Buteyko breathing exercises and upper body exercise has no different function in increasing the value of peak expiratory flow. In patients with bronchial asthma, can useone or both of the breathing techniques, because it has the same effectiveness to increase peakexpiratory flow in assisting the prevention of bronchial asthma.
