Abstract

Mangga gedong gincu (Mangifere indica var.Gedong) banyak diusahakan di Jawa Barat dengansentra produksi Indramayu, Majalengka dan Cirebon. Hasil penelitian lapangan mengungkapkan bahwa manggagedong gincu dari Majalengka dan Cirebon lebih diminati konsumen daripada Gedong gincu dari Indramayu,karena bentuknya lebih bulat, warnanya lebih menarik dan aromanya lebih tajam (Deliana, 2011). Masalahnyaadalah tidak ada jaminan kualitas bahwa mangga tersebut memiliki kematangan tertentu, rasa dan bebas hamaseperti harapan konsumen. Sejak tahun 2005 pedagang besar di Kabupaten Majalengka, Cirebon dan Indramayumencoba menempelkan label pada mangga gedong Gincu, tapi bukan label asal daerah. Label asal daerah hanyadikeluarkan oleh Dinas Pertanian setempat dan hanya digunakan mangga Gedong Gincu pada saat pameranatau sebagai oleh-oleh kepada tamu khusus yang berkunjung ke daerah tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulanJuli sampai dengan September 2013 di Kecamatan Sedonglor Kabupaten Cirebon karena banyak pelaku pasarsudah menggunakan label. Sampel petani diambil secara acak sebanyak 30 orang, 30 konsumen Cirebon dan200 konsumen Bandung. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa produsen dan konsumen mengganggap pentinglabel asal daerah, akan tetapiprodusen maupun konsumen tidak mengetahui bahwa label asal daerah seharusnyamenunjukkan informasi tanggal petik, informasi letak kebun, informasi asal daerah dan sebagai persyaratanuntuk ekspor. Untuk meningkatkan pemasaran mangga, harus ada program yang terintegrasi dan adanya salingketerkaitan antara konsumen, produsen, pelaku pasar, dan penentu kebijakan. Harapannya ke depan, origin labelingdapat dikembangkan menjadi Country of Origin labeling (COOL) dan menjadi titik awal untuk internasionalisasimangga di pasar globalKata kunci : Persepsi, perilaku, produsen, konsumen dan label asal daerah

Abstract

The study, entitled "Gender Analysis in Families Life Fishermen in Pangandaran Ciamis district" was conducted over eight months. The purpose of this study was to: 1) Assess the socio-economic characteristics of fishermen families in the District of Pangandaran Ciamis district.; 2) analyze the pattern of decision-making and the division of labor between husband and wife in a family of fishermen in the domestic sector and the public. This study uses survey method. The respondents consisted of 30 families of fishermen. Data were analyzed descriptively to create a systematic picture, factual and accurate statement of the facts, properties and relationships studied phenomenon objectively. The results showed that the level of education the majority of families of fishermen included in the low category. Perceptions of gender on family fishing generally illustrates that the main task the wife is the household, but it may help her husband in making a living family, while earning a living primary responsibility remains the task of the husband. Decision-making concerning the domestic activities and the public in a family of fishermen do not follow a particular pattern is specifically focused on the husband or wife, but it has a pattern that spreads between husband and wife. The task sharing concerning the domestic activities mostly done by the wife. While the division of labor associated with public activities spread between husband and wife. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada stakeholder koperasi agribisnis mengenai pentingnya penerapan kewirausahaan dalam manajemen dan pengembangan usaha koperasi. Lokasi Penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, yaitu di Koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, untuk mengetahui gambaran detail dan mendalam tentang penerapan kewirausahaan dalam koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan.Jiwa Kewirausahaan menjadi suatu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh pelaku bisnis pertanian (Agribisnis), Sifat dan watak seorang agripreneurship adalah memiliki kemauan keras, berani mengambil risiko, jeli dalam melihat peluang usaha yang memiliki prospek yang cerah, senantiasa memperkuat jaringan usaha, memiliki semangat untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas produk bagi kepuasan konsumen, memiliki cara pandang positif terhadap suatu keadaan dan memiliki sifat kepemimpinan.Koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan memiliki Unit Usaha Otonom Hortikultura, Tanaman Pangan, Simpan Pinjam dan Sarana Produksi. Dalam aspek pelayanannya, koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan memberikan pelayanan dalam hal on farm, penyediaan sarana produksi (hulu), Pasca panen dan pemasaran (hilir) dan juga penunjang. Abstract

Abstract

One of the efforts taken to improve agriculture human resources especially farmers, is through agricultural extension activities. The purpose of agricultural extension is to create a competent farm community that is able to create a strong business, with better farming, better business, better living and better enviroment. To realize all that would be required special education efforts through the development of national agricultural extension system that is able to help farmers and other agricultural businesses to improve their livelihoods and improve their welfare. This study aims to examine how the effectiveness of agricultural extension in general is happening in the District Sindangkasih post autonomy, as well as examine the extent of the impact of agricultural extension activities undertaken to contribute to the socio-economic conditions of farmers. This research was conducted in the District Sindangkasih. This district is one of the districts with a large number of people working in the agricultural sector.This study uses a case study to obtain in-depth pattern of the object under study, with the approach of the PRA (Participatory Rural Apprisal) and FGD (Focus Grouf Discussiaon). The informants in this study is agricultural extension, related agencies and authorities, as well as farmers, who know for certain activities in Kec.Sindangkasih counseling. The draft analysis of the data used to answer the research question in this study is to use qualitative descriptive analysis method, by adopting the Kirkpatrick model of evaluation. Based on the calculation Effectiveness of Agricultural Extension in Sub Sindangkasih obtained a score of 77.48%, which is classified in the category of a very good level of effectiveness. The positive impact is felt farmers with agricultural extension include the improvement of knowledge, skills and mindset, particularly related legowo planting system. On the economic changes that may result from an increase in production which impact on increasing farmers income   Keywords: agricultural extension, Effectiveness, Social Economic Impact.

Abstract

Indonesias agricultural sector is still faced with a variety of problems, especially with regard to the low interest of youth to work in the agricultural sector. Total population aged 15 years and over who worked in the field of business in agriculture, plantation, forestry, and hunting in February 2013 amounted to 3,642,008 people, or 19.61% of the entire working population. This value certainly is not comparable if we see that our country is an agricultural country where agriculture is a major sector in Indonesia. In fact, to achieve better agricultural conditions required the participation of the younger generation as the successor to the farmer. The process of succession in agribusiness is very important to note.The purpose of this study to analyze the process of succession in agribusiness chili in Taraju, see the changes that occurred after reviewing succession and empowerment-based entrepreneurship which is believed to support the success of the process of succession in the agri-horticulture. This study will be conducted in the District. Taraju, Kab.Tasikmalaya using qualitative design and engineering case studies. Soft Systems Approach Methodhology (SSM) will be used to design an appropriate model. The results showed that the succession managed to farmers with large-scale enterprises because generally they have planned succession process, but on a small scale farmers they do not prepare the succession process. Agribusiness chili after a succession of changes to the packaging and marketing. Empowerment needs to be given to the first generation to be able to design a succession process as early as possible, while at empowering the next generation should be given to improving the business life, as well as generate interest in youth to businesses in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani adalah dengan meningkatkan nilai tambah produk sayuran organic. Jika harga sayuran organic segar dirasakan kurang menguntungkan, maka dengan pengolahan sayuran organic menjadi aneka jenis makanan seperti nugget sayuran dapat menjadi peluang bisnis baru yang berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di salah satu lokasi penelitian Hibah Riset Fundamental Unpad (RFU) yaitu di Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dengan kelompok sasaran Kelompok Tani Mekar Tani Jaya.Peserta kegiatan PKM adalah anggota Kelompok Tani Mekar Tani Jaya sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil kegiatan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kognitif dan psikomotorik sekitar 90% pada peserta terkait pembuatan nugget sayur serta peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotorik sebesar 80%, terkait membangun manajemen bisnis nugget sayur skala rumah tangga agar menguntungkan. Dari hasil kegiatan juga tersusun Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) yang diharapkan akan merintis usaha nugget sayur organic di Desa Cibodas, sehingga pendapatan petani diharapkan bisa bertambah.

Abstract

Era Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) sudah dihadapi oleh segenap pelaku bisnis yang bergerak dalam berbagai sektor usaha di Indonesia. Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN merupakan bentuk integrasi ekonomi ASEAN, yang berarti adanya sistem perdagangan bebas antara negara-negara di ASEAN. Sektor pertanian di Indonesia sangat berkontribusi dalam pembangunan nasional, seperti halnya sektor pertanian pada hortikultura, mangga gedong gincumerupakan salah satu komoditas horti yang memiliki kontribusi besar bagi perekonomian nasional. Gapoktan mangga gedong gincu yang berhasil berdaya saing ekspor yaitu Gapoktan Sami Mulya merupakan salah satu Gapoktan yang sukses di Cirebon dalam pasar ekspor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah perilaku anggota Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalam menghadapai Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA), untuk mengetahui kendala Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN(MEA) pada Gapoktan Sami Mulya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pendekatan studi kasus. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori perilaku Bloom dan analisis kendala fishbone.Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan perilaku Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalam menghadapi MEA menurut teori Bloom tercermin dalam 3 komponen yaitu : pengetahuan anggota Gapoktan dalam menghadapi MEA ada dalam kategori positif, sikap anggota Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalam menghadapi MEA ada dalam kategori positif , tindakan anggota Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalammenghadapi MEA ada dalam kategori negatif. Sedangkan kendala utama Gapoktan Sami Mulya dalam menghadapi MEA yaitu keinginan petani untuk masuk ke MEA rendah. Kendala tersebut disebabkan oleh 4 penyebab utama yang dapat dilihat dari segi manusia, cara kerja , bahan baku, dan lingkungan.Kata kunci : Perilaku, Gapoktan, Sedong, Kendala

Abstract

Farmworkers in the coffee production section at CV. Frinsa Agrolestari are dominated by women, namely 9 women and 5 men. While the coffee production process is fairly heavy, female farmworkers continue to become workers in this company. The large number of females as farm workers can be caused by the low income in her family. Inadequate income from her husband salary will encourage some of the wifes to get additional income. This research was motivated by this phenomenon. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of welfare of female farmworker families, the contribution of female farmworkers income to the family income, and the motivation of female farmworkers working in the production field at the coffee factory of CV. Frinsa Agrolestari, Margamulya Village, Pangalengan, Bandung Regency. The approach taken in this research was a qualitative approach, using a case study with interviews based on indicators of family welfare levels according to the regulation of BKKBN in the year of 2005. The results of the study showed that the family welfare level of a female working in the field of coffee production at CV. Frinsa Agrolestari was in the Prosperous Family category I indicating that the income can fulfill basic needs such as clothing, shelter, health, and education. Contribution of income of female farmworkers to the family income ranged from 22.2% (the lowest) to 50% (the highest). Motivation of the female farmworkers to work is 89% due to economic reasons and 11% due to social reasons. Keywords: family, farm, labor, welfare,women

Abstract

The quality decreasing of the environment could be caused by household consumption behavior. Consumers positive attitude toward environmental issues can be encouraged through socialization about eco-friendly lifestyles. Kelompok Tani Cipta Mandiri is one of the organic vegetable producers that used eco-friendly issues marketing. This study were aimed to analyze eco-friendly education which was conducted by Cipta Mandiri farmer group; consumer attitudes about environmental issues; and the influence of eco-friendly education and demographic characteristics toward consumer eco-friendly attitude and behavior. Respondents in this study were 60 consumers who bought through the Small Market. Descriptive and path analysis were used to accomplish the objectives of this study. The results showed that eco-friendly education which is conducted by Cipta Mandiri farmers group encourages consumers positive behaviour about environment friendly issues. Most of the consumers understood the purpose and benefits of educational activities, feel attracted to these activities, and be willing to behave environment friendly. The income had significantly influence on the consumers attitude, especially affective and conative dimensions. Meanwhile, consumers attitude had a positive impact on eco-friendly behavior. Therefore, government or other institutions can encourage producers to do social business activities to increase consumer awareness of environment friendly behavior.
