Abstract

This quasi experimental research purposed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of TPS type viewed by students mathematical conceptual understanding of grade VIII of SMP N 1 Kota Agung Barat odd semester in academic year 2013/2014. This research design was posttest only control design. The population of this research were all students of grade VIII SMP N 1 Kota Agung Barat odd semester academic year 2013/2014 which distributed into four classes. The sample of this research were all students of class VIII D  as experiment class and students of class VIII C as control class. The sample were chosen by purposive random sampling. The data of this research was students mathematical conceptual understanding. The research concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of TPS type was  effective to increase of students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung Barat semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung Barat semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Sampel peneli­ti­­­­­­­­­an ini­ adalah siswa kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII C  se­­­­­­bagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih melalui tek­nik­ pur­po­­­­sive sampling­.  Data penelitian ini adalah data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS efektif diterapkan dalam pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, pemahaman konsep matematis, TPS

Abstract

Mind Mapping is  one of learning method where the student have to reveal the core concept, so they will have creative thingking ability by connecting all concept. This research come to know the influence Mind Mapping method condisered by student?s mathematical conceptual understanding. The sample of this research were VII B as experiment class and VII A as control class. That was acuired by purposive sapling technique. The design research was postest only control group design. Based on research result, it was concluded that mind mapping method has influence considered by student?s mathematical conceptual understanding.Keywords: Mind Mapping Method Learning, Understanding of mathematical concept.

Abstract

This research was a quasi experiment is aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning method application to cooperative script method about understanding of student is mathematical concept.  The research design was pos-tes only.  Research population was the whole of eight-class student in second semester of metro three state Junior High Schoolin academic year of 2012/2013 by the samples VIII A and VIII B that were chosen from six classes by cluster random sampling method.  The data of research was student?s mathematical concept understanding and character.  According to the data analyisis result, it was obtained that the average of student?s mathematical concept understanding, and the achievement of behavior character and student?s social skill in cooperative learning model to cooperative script method were better than conventional learning.  The conclusion of research is the cooperative learning model with cooperative script method are better applied to the understanding of student?s mathematical concept.Keyword: Cooperative Script, mathematical concept

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model type of student teams achievement division (STAD) towards student?s mathematical conceptual understanding  The design research was post-test only control group design. The population of this research was eighth grade students in even semester of Junior High School State I Kotabumi in academic year 2012/2013.  The samples of this research were students of VIII D and VIII I class that obtained by purposive sampling. The collecting data technique was using test.  Based on result of research, obtained that the average of value of student?s mathematical conceptual understanding using cooperative learning model of STAD type is greater than using conventional learning. Thus, cooperative learning model of STAD type have influence of towards student?s mathematical conceptual understanding of  eighth grade students in even semester of Junior High School State I Kotabumi in academic year 2012/2013.Penelitian quasi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Kotabumi tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of the realistic mathematics education towards student?s mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 7thof MTs Matlaul Anwar Padangcermin in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into three classes. By purposive sampling technique, it was chosen students of VII A and VII B class as samples. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical problem solving skill. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it was gotten the conclusion that the implementation of the realistic mathematics education did not affects student?s mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Matlaul Anwar Padangcermin tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam tiga kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, dipilih siswa kelas VII A dan VII B sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.Kata kunci: konvensional, pembelajaran matematika realistik, pemecahan masalah matematis

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of guided discovery learning towards students? adaptive reasoning ability. The population of this research was all students of grade XIPA of SMA Negeri 2 Metro in academic year of 2017/2018 with total 162 students and that was distributed into five classes. The samples of this research were students of XIPA 2 and XIPA 3 class that were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The design which used was pretest-posttest only control grup design. The data of this research were obtained by the essays test of adaptive reasoning ability. Analysis data of the research used t-test. Based on the result of the research and the data analysis, it can be concluded that guided discovery learning afffects student?s adaptive reasoning ability.  Penelitian experimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan penalaran adaptif siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XIPA SMA Negeri 2 Metro tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah 162 siswa dan terdistribusi ke dalam lima kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XIPA 2 dan XIPA 3 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest only control grup design. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan penalaran adaptif berbentuk essay. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Abstract

This quasi experimental research was aimed to know the differences of mathematical learning achievemnet between contextual and conventional approach. Based on the result of t-test analysis with ? = 5 %, it was gotten thitung = 1,11 less then ttabel =1,645. Thus, it was concluded that in grade VII students of SMP Budi Karya Natar, the mathematical learning achievement in contextual approach was not better than conventional approach.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika siswa antara pendekatan kontekstual dan konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dengan ? = 5 %, diperoleh thitung = 1,11 lebih kecil daripada ttabel = 1,645. Dengan demikian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pada siswa kelas VII SMP Budi Karya Natar, prestasi belajar matematika siswa dalam pendekatan kontekstual tidak lebih baik dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional.Kata kunci: kontekstual, konvensional, prestasi belajar matematika

Abstract

This qualitative research aimed to describe the students critical mathematical conversations on Socrates scientific learning. The subjects of this research were the students of VII-F class of SMPN 22 Pesawaran 2016/2017 academic year. This data was a qualitative data about critical mathematical conversation of students obtained through field notes, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis has been done through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion verification. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that in critical mathematical conversation there were: (1) problems that contained indicators of interpretation or analysis more often lead to critical mathematical conversations, (2) analysis is an indicator of mathematical critical thinking ability that often raised by students, (3) Socrates question of clarification type is a type of Socrates question that widely used by the teachers and the students, (4) communicating step is a scientific step that students often do.Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan percakapan kritis matematis siswa pada pembelajaran Socrates saintifik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-F SMP Negeri 22 Pesawaran tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif tentang percakapan kritis matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa dalam percakapan kritis matematis terdapat: (1) permasalahan yang memuat indikator interpretasi atau analisis lebih sering memunculkan percakapan kritis matematis, (2) analisis adalah indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang sering dimunculkan siswa, (3) pertanyaan Socrates tipe klarifikasi adalah tipe pertanyaan Socrates yang sering digunakan oleh guru dan siswa, (4) langkah mengomunikasikan adalah langkah saintifik yang sering dilakukan siswa.Kata kunci: metode Socrates, pendekatan saintifik, percakapan kritis matematis

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research aimed to know the influence of guided Hypno-NLP learning model by students mathematical comunication skills. The population of this research was all students of grade eighth of SMP IT Baitul Muslim Way Jepara even semester in the academic years of 2013/2014 as many as 145 students that was distributed into five classes (VIII A-VIII E). The samples were taken by purposive sampling and it was obtained that VIII E as experimental class and VIII B as control class. This research used post-test only control design. The data of this research were the score of students mathematical comunication potency which was obtained by test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the students mathematical comunication potency with Hypno-NLP learning was better than conventional learning model. Thus, it could be concluded the implementation of Hypno-NLP metode affect on the students mathematical communication skills.Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypno-NLP terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP IT Baitul Muslim Way Jepara semester genap tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 145 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam lima kelas (VIII AVIII E). Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas VIII E sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only control design. Data penelitian ini berupa skor kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran Hypno-NLP lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian,dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Hypno-NLP berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Hypno-NLP, kemampuan komunikasi matematis, konvensional
