Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh character, capcity, capital, collateral dan condition terhadap pemberian kredit pada Koperasi Pegawai Telkom Purwokerto. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 35 responden. Variabel bebas (independent variable) yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah character (X1), capacity (X2), capital (X3), collateral (X4) dan condition of Economy (X5). Variabel terikat (dependent variable) yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian kredit. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa character, capacity, capital, collateral dan condition of economy secara parsial tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pemberian kredit.Kata kunci : character, capacity, capital, collateral, condition of economy dan pemberian                         kredit.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis optimalisasi usahatani pada berbagai pola tanam monokultur pada tanaman pangan semusim dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi optimalisasi usahatani. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif-kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive di wilayah Kecamatan Kembaran Kabupaten Banyumas. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui survey, observasi dan wawancara menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1). pola tanam 1 (padi – padi – jagung) dan pola tanam 5 (padi – jagung – bengkuang) adalah optimal dengan nilai MRPT (Marginal Rate of Product Transformation) masing masing 1,16 dan 1,03 2). Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi optimalisasi usahatani tanaman pangan semusim adalah luas lahan, jumlah tenaga kerja, jumlah pupuk dan jumlah pestisida. Penggunaan faktor produksi pupuk tidak efisien sedangkan faktor produksi lainnya belum efisienKata Kunci: optimalisasi, pola tanam monokultur, tanaman pangan semusim

Abstract

Macaranga known locally as mahang-mahangan has uniquely ecological function, and also became a part of traditional medicine in Indonesia. Macaranga genus also known as a sources of terpenoid and phenolic (flavonoid) compounds which have biological activity as antioxidant and anticancer (cytotoxicity).There are few phytochemical investigations have been done on M. gigantifolia species. As a part of our continuing research of isolation anticancer compound from natural product, a geranylated flavonoid compound (macarangin) has been isolated from ethyl acetate fraction of Macaranga gigantifolia leaves using chromatography methods. The isolated compund (isolat MG) was elucidated to gain the chemical structure based on spectroscopic data (LC-MS and FT-NMR). Cytotoxicity test of this compound was tested against MCF 7 cell lines, showed that macarangin has a potential activity with IC50 value 119.12μg/mL. Key words: Macarangin, geranylated  flavonoid, Macaranga gigantifolia, MCF 7 cell lines.

Abstract

Apigenin-8-C-glycoside (1), a flavonoid glycoside compound has been isolated from the leaves of Macaranga gigantifolia Merr. Isolation and purification conducted by chromatography methods and chemical structure characterization carried out by spectroscopic methods. Cytotoxicity of Apigenin-8-C-glycoside has been tested against Murine leukemia P-388 cell lines and has moderate activity with IC50 values 55.4 μg/mL.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to make a formula of green tea that is enriched by other herbs. Green tea drinks are made using the basic ingredients of gambung (THG) green tea enriched with sapodilla leaves (Manilkara zapota (Aw) bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum (Am), Artocarpus communis (Un) breadfruit leaves, and cinnamon leaves (Cinnamomum verum (K)). The composition of gambung herbal green tea is made by reference to the antidiabetic activity of each herb. All the samples were tested for inhibition of ?-glucosidase enzymes and toxicity using the lethality test method for brine shrimp. All samples showed good inhibition of the ?-glucosidase enzyme barriers of gamboeng green tea (THG) 82.05%, sapodilla leaves (Aw) 97.81%, breadfruit leaves (Un) 73.34%, bay leaves (Am) 93.80%, cinnamon leaves (K) 91.24 %. The inhibition value of ?-glucoside enzymes in the formulation of gamboeng herbal green tea drinks: 96.203% (GKUn) is higher when compared to the GKAm formula (94.78%) and GKAw (62.487%).

Abstract

Study on antioxidant activity and bioactivity of water and ethanol extracts from the leaves and twigs of mistletoe (Macrosolen cochinchinensis (Lour.) Van Tiegh) that grew on jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) tree as the host have been conducted. Water extracts of the M. cochinchinensis leaves andtwigs were active as antioxidant with IC50 23.08 ug/mL dan 21.56 ug/mL respectively. Whereas the ethanol extracts of both leaves and twigs was not active because the ICso higher than 100 ug/mL (not active as antioxidant against DPPH). Both water and ethanol extracts of M. cochinchinensis leaves and twigs did not showed bioactivity against Artemia salina Leach brine shrimp with each extracts has LCso higher than 1000 pg/mL.Key words Antioxidant, Bioactivity, Macrosolen cochinchinensi (Lour.) van Tiegh., Artocarpus heterophyllus. Abstract

The antidiabetic activity test through a mechanism of inhibition of α-glucosidase enzyme was studied against ethanol, n-hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions of ethanol extract of Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg (Moraceae) leaves and four flavonoid compounds isolated from ethyl acetate extracts of A. altilis. Ethyl acetate fraction has strongest antidiabetic activity compared to ethanol, n-hexane, and n-butanol fractions with IC50values5.98,6.79, 440.18and14.42μg/mL, respectively. Four flavonoid compounds (1-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3-[8-hydroxy-2-methyl-2-(4-methyl-3-pentenyl)-2H-1-benzopyran-5-yl]-1-propanone (AC-31), 2-geranyl-2,3,4,4-tetrahydroxy dihydrochalcone (AC-51), 8-geranyl-4,5,7-trihydroxyflavone (AC-33) andcyclocommunol (AA-3), have been isolated from ethylacetate fraction. AC-31 was the strongest antidiabetic compound compared to AC-51, AC-33 and cyclocommunolwithIC50values are 15.73, 24.41,49.49,and72.20μg/mL. Kineticstudies of AC-31 using Lineweaver-Burk method showed that inhibition mechanism of enzymeα-glucosidase was anon-competitivetype.

Abstract

Terestrial fungi are of great importance as potential sources of pharmaceutical agent. Aspergillus aculeatus, a fungus isolated from soil sample collected in Indonesia, was cultured in liquid media to investigate a novel compound as inhibitor α-glucosidase. The mycelium extract of A. aculeatus shows potential activity against Saccharomyces cereviseae α-glucosidase and mild activity against mammalian α-glucosidase with IC50 values of 9.57 µg/mL and 470.76 mg/mL, respectively. Enzyme assay-guided fractionation of this extract afforded rubrofusarin (1). Rubrofusarin, a linear naphtho-γ-pyrone, is a natural pigment from Aspergillus sp. Interestingly, compound 1 shows potential inhibitory activity against mammalian α-glucosidase (IC50 of 92.7 µg/mL), but no to S. cereviseae α-glucosidase. The results suggest that A. aculeatus is a promising natural source as a lead compound in the discovery of antidiabetic drug.

Abstract

Interaction of sulochrin to active site of glucosidase enzyme of Termotoga maritime has been studied by employing docking method using Molecular Operating Environment (MOE), in comparison with those are reports of established inhibitor α-glucosidase such as acarbose, miglitol and voglibose, and salicinol, as reference compounds. The crystal structure T. maritima α-glucanotransferase (PDB code: 1LWJ) can be employed to serve as the template in the virtual screening of S. cerevisiae α-glucosidase. The comparison between the binding pocket residues of Thermotoga maritima α-glucanotransferase and Saccharomyces cerevisiae α-glucosidase show a high sequence identity and similarity. The result showed that sulochrin could be located in the binding pocket and formed some interactions with the binding residues. The ligands showed proper predicted binding energy (-6.74 - -4.13 kcal/mol) and predicted Ki values (0.011 - 0.939 mM). Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, sintesis asam oleat terepoksidasi dilakukan dengan tujuan mempelajari pengaruh konsentrasi asam asetat dan hidrogen peroksida pada proses epoksidasi asam oleat tanpa menggunakan katalis. Reaksi epoksidasi asam oleat dilakukan pada suhu 60 °C selama 5 jam dengan kecepatan pengadukan sekitar 525 rpm. Karakterisasi terhadap produk asam oleat terepoksidasi dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis bilangan iod, analisis bilangan oksiran, analisis Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) dan Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). Hasil analisis bilangan oksiran menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak mol asam asetat dan mol hidrogen peroksida yang ditambahkan akan cenderung meningkatkan nilai oksiran asam oleat terepoksidasi. Kondisi optimum sintesis asam oleat terepoksidasi tanpa menggunakan katalis diperoleh pada saat perbandingan mol antara asam oleat : asam asetat : hidrogen peroksida sebesar 1:4:9 dengan nilai bilangan oksiran sebesar 1,95 dengan konversi bilangan oksiran 62,30 % dan bilangan iod 17,23 g I2/g sampel. Hasil analisis FTIR menunjukkan terbentuknya gugus epoksida pada bilangan gelombang 837 cm-1. Hasil analisis NMR juga menunjukkan adanya pergeseran kimia baru pada 2,32 ppm sampai 2,35 ppm (H-NMR) dan 72,72 ppm (C-NMR) yang berkaitan dengan proton dan karbon yang terikat pada gugus oksiran.
