Abstract

Total population increase therefore water supply requirement, irrigation water, as well as requirement ofresidential areas are also increase. Many ways in development of water resources management arerequired to fulfill future water requirement, and need minimizing land use changes. Integrated waterresources management planning based on river basins is required. Polices for water resourcesconservation program, exploitation of water resources and control of the water?s destructive force arerequired for optimizing water resources management. A holistic water resources management is requiredfor protecting, maintaining as well as increasing the value of water resources. According to WaterResources Law No. 7 year 2004, a water resources planning for a river basin has to prepare withparticipation of some stakeholders. Many program alternatives of water resources management will beproduced from a water resources management planning process. Thus, the ranking analysis of alternativeprograms needs to be proceeded. Decision Support System (DSS) with weighting optimization model is atool for helping to determine the rank of water resources development programs. The DSS technique needscriteria as basic for prioritizing water resources development programs. Determination weight for eachcriterion and score for each alternative water resources development program are required. Applicationof this model is a priority analysis of water resources development program from JRATUNSELUNA riverbasin for administration district Jepara, Kudus and Demak

Abstract

Flood is a condition where areas that normally are not inundated by water such as settlements, and other public facilities become stagnant. The impact of flood disasters is very detrimental both morally and materially as delays in transport lines which impact on the pace of the economy. Semarang city is one of the areas in Indonesia are prone to flooding. The condition worsened with a decrease in the land throughout the year reached 0.7 to 11.2 cm / year. Starting from Ivory Pucang weir, river silting baboon suffered due to sedimentation, thereby reducing the capacity of water drainage caused flooding in the area around the river. This study using HEC-HMS software to analyze the flood discharge with a return period of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 years. From some of the return period flood discharge plan, for further analysis taken flood discharge plan with a return period of 100 years. The program has been calibrated using the flood discharge at the dam hourly Pucang Ivory. HEC-HMS addition, this study also uses the HEC-RAS software to analyze the profile of the river water level and produce a flood inundation area of flood discharge plan with a return period of 100 Pathe obtained from the processing of data for flood inundation in the area Sayung, Kab. Demak, so the need to improve cross-section.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDrainage system with polder and pump is the most effective and efficient system for handling the floods that was occurred in the area which has a slooping topography such as Jakarta. As the state?s capital and metropolitan city, Jakarta has been developing rapidly, which made the existing green land as water infiltration area and settlement become unbalanced. This is a  major cause of flooding in Jakarta. From the result of rainfall data processing in Kemayoran station, rainfall intensity can be analyzed by using Jakarta?s hyetograph diagram approach for Ciliwung?s watershed based on analysis that was conducted by Netherland Engineering Consultant. Qplan is obtained by modeling it with additional program, the SWMM 5.0 for a period of 100 years, due to Jakarta as a business and government center. Large catchment area and downtown are the reason that SWMM 5.0 is suitable to use for modeling. Thus Qplan is obtained in the amount of 11 m3. Reservoir?s volume in the amount of 75888 m3 is obtained by using Qplan, at the existing condition detention pond area is 49000 m2, so depth of pond is 5 m with 8 pumps and 4 m3/sec capacity is obtained.

Abstract

Kabupaten Demak merupakan salah satu daerah yang terletak di daerah pesisir pantai Pulau Jawa. Demak merupakan salah satu daerah yang rawan terjadi banjir yang dipengaruhi oleh sungai Wulan. Sungai Wulan merupakan percabangan  dari Sungai Lusi dan Sungai Serang dimana kedua aliran sungai ini di tampung ke Bendung Klambu, Kab. Grobogan, Jawa Tengah. Setelah itu mengalir ke pintu air Wilalung, pintu ini memiliki  Sembilan pintu air yang dibangun pada saat zaman kolonial Belanda yang berlokasi di Dukuh Babalan, Desa Kalirejo, Kecamatan Undaan, Kabupaten Kudus, Jawa Tengah. Masalah utama yang dihadapi di Demak yaitu masalah banjir dengan genangan yang cukup lama. Perbaikan penampang pada daerah aliran sungai Wulan dapat menjadi alternatif penanganan masalah yang tepat untuk wilayah tersebut, muka air laut yang tinggi dan mengalami penurunan tanah. Perbaikan penampang aliran sungai Wulan ini meliputi perencanaan pengerukan dasar sungai dan tanggul sungai. Perhitungan debit banjir rencana 50 tahun menggunakan pemodelan HEC-HMS 4.0. Debit banjir rencana untuk perencanaan ini adalah 1754,9 m3/detik. Perencanaan perbaikan sungai menggunakan model HEC-RAS dengan debit rencana hasil dari program HEC-HMS 4.0. Penampang direncanakan berbentuk trapesium dengan lebar bawah 70 m dan kemiringan 1 : 3. Ada beberapa tanah hasil galian yang digunakan untuk penimbunan tanggul sungai agar tidak semua tanah dibuang, sehingga tidak memerlukan adanya biaya tambahan untuk membeli tanah urugan. Proyek ini menelan biaya sebesar Rp. 1.533.642.964.000,00.

Abstract

Drainage problems, especially in the cities of Indonesia has become important with the frequent occurrence of  flooding or water logging in the rainy season at urban areas that disrupt people life and obstruct transportations fluency and cause property losses in large enough quantities. The main cause of flooding or water logging is a change from the natural landscape into the development environment, hence, increasing impermeable surfaces, such as roads, parking areas, sidewalks, and residential areas. This change reduces, disrupts, or eliminates the natural vegetation, land surface, basin, and natural drainage pattern that prevents, vaporizes, stores, issues slowly and absorbs the rainwater. The impact of changes in the landscape of OASIS Area of PT. Djarum Kudus is the increasing direct runoff (run off) while reducing water seep into the ground so that it can make the puddle of water. In its planning, the hydrologic analysis using the 15 years of rainfall data in Sta. Kedung Gupit is performed. In hydrologic analysis of this planning is applied the probability distributions of Log Pearson type 3 and is used EPA SWMM program with 10-years return period of flooding, thus, it is obtained the maximum flood discharge before construction in the amount of 9.05 m3/second and the maximum flood discharge after development in the amount of 16.69 m3/second. Based on the results of that analysis, the planning of drainage canals is carried out. In the planning, the used drainage canals are new drainage canals which are constructed at the OASIS area of PT. Djarum Kudus. The dimensions of the drainage canals that are used vary from the largest with the dimension of 2.5 m x 3 m and the smallest with the dimension of 0.6 m x 0.6 m. Furthermore, to determine the effectiveness of the drainage canals, it is modeled using HEC RAS program. In the calculations using that program, all the canals that are planned in the OASIS area of PT. Djarum are currently able to accommodate water during the flooding for return period plan of 10 years. Djarum Kudus produces The dimensions of the drainage canals that are the largest with the dimension of 2.5 m x 3 m and the smallest with the dimension of 0.6 m x 0.6 m. The construction of drainage canals at OASIS area of PT. Djarum Kudus takes time for 4 months with a total cost incurred is 9,490,131,000.00 (nine billion four hundred and ninety million one hundred and thirty-one thousand rupiahs).

Abstract

Banjir yang sering terjadi di Kabupaten Demak disebabkan oleh meluapnya Sungai Dolok. Kondisi Sungai Dolok yang mengalami penyempitan alur serta pendangkalan menyebabkan berkurangnya kapasitas penampang sungai untuk mengalirkan debit banjir. Akibatnya, pada musim penghujan Kabupaten Demak sering mengalami banjir. Sungai Dolok memiliki panjang sekitar 47 km dan luas daerah aliran sungai sekitar 145 km2. Hidrograf banjir Sungai Dolok dianalisis dengan menggunakan program HEC-HMS dan untuk analisis hidrolika menggunakan program HEC-RAS. Hasil analisis menunjukan kondisi penampang eksisting Sungai Dolok tidak mencukupi untuk mengalirkan debit banjir Q50th sebesar 216 m3/dt. Akibatnya, terjadi bencana banjir di Kabupaten Demak. Dari studi dan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, pemecahan masalah ini adalah mengadakan normalisasi Sungai Dolok dengan melakukan perbaikan penampang sungai Dolok yang sesuai perencanaan. sehingga Sungai Dolok dapat mengalirkan debit banjir dan mengurangi tingkat bencana banjir di Kabupaten Demak.

Abstract

West floodway Semarang city is one of the infrastructure for manage flood in Garang Stream. Because of sedimentation in Garang stream, decrease flow capacity. Check Dam construction is made beam for help reduce river slope so can decrease water velocity and reduce capacity sediment delivery in Garang stream. Build check dam will reduce sedimentation in downstream Garang river. From calculation fall of rain in years with Thiessen method then do hidrology analyze using HEC-HMS and get rate of flood 100 years in location in the amount of 386.9 m3/det. Analyze using USLE method get erotion number amount 1.85 mm/year (32.01 ton/ha/year), and form erotion analyze get number of sedimentation amount 2.677 ton/ha/year. Location of Pramuka check dam construction is in downstream Pramuka bridge, Pudak Payung, Semarang. With planning as following: high physical effective main dam is 4 m, depth of foundation is 1.3 m, material for buil check dam is form river rocks. Implementation check dam works need 6 month and cost two billion eight hundred ninety five thousands million rupiah(Rp 2,895,000,000).

Abstract

Flooding is one of the disasters that often occur in Demak Regency especially Sayung area, Karang Asem, and Mranggen. The impact of floods can not be ignored, such as damage to city infrastructure, and socio-economic losses in the region Demak regency occur due to inundation and inundation long time. Dombo Sayung River Flood Control Objectives is to reduce the occurrence of floodwaters in the area Demak regency using structural measures. The flood control study using a return period of 100 years. With a return period flood hydrograph Q100th Dombo Sayung River analyzed using HEC-HMS software. While the hydraulics analysis were analyzed using the HEC-RAS software. The analysis shows a cross-existing conditions Dombo Sayung River insufficient to drain the flood discharge Q100th of 343.0 m3/sec with the effect of the floods, so it needs to repair the river cross-section an attempt to enlarge the drainage of the river.

Abstract

Semarang Timur merupakan wilayah Kota Semarang bagian timur. Sub sistem drainase yang ada di wilayah ini adalah Sub Sistem Banjir Kanal Timur, Kedung Mundu, Sungai Tenggang, Sungai Sringin dan Sungai Babon. Permasalahan banjir dan rob sering terjadi di wilayah ini, terutama pada Sub Sistem Sungai Tenggang dan Sub Sistem Sungai Sringin, hal ini mengakibatkan kerugian ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Wilayah ini mempunyai karakteristik topografi yang landai dan mengalami penurunan tanah yang tinggi pada setiap tahunnya sehingga pembuatan sistem polder pada daerah aliran sungai Tenggang dan Sringin dapat menjadi alternatif penanganan masalah yang tepat untuk wilayah tersebut.Perencanaan sistem polder ini meliputi perencanaan kolam retensi, stasiun pompa, perbaikan sungai dan tanggul laut. Perhitungan debit banjir menggunakan pemodelan HEC-HMS 4.0. Perencanaan perbaikan sungai menggunakan model HEC-RAS 5.0.1. Tanggul laut direncanakan dengan mempertimbangkan pasang tertinggi, pembangkitan angin dan gelombang, kenaikan muka air laut dan penurunan tanah di lokasi tanggul. Kolam retensi memiliki luas 126 hektar dengan kedalaman kolam 3,4 meter dan debit banjir rencana 10 tahunan untuk kolam adalah 126,6 m3/s. Jumlah pompa 4 buah dengan kapasitas setiap pompa sebesar 15 m3/s. Debit untuk masing-masing sungai sebesar 82,3 m3/s untuk Sungai Tenggang dan 49,6 m3/s untuk Sungai Sringin. Tinggi tanggul pada elevasi +2,7 meter di atas permukaan laut  dan dibangun dari Banjir Kanal Timur hingga Sungai Babon sepanjang 1,73 kilometer.

Abstract

Simpang Lima area of Semarang is administration region, education residence, service, and industry which are constructed in the center of Semarang sub district. Center Semarang region is an area where is topographically flat. Industry development, trade, and rapid growth people bring Simpang Lima are of Semarang as the prominent center growth of Semarang city. In addition flood happened in region of Simpang Lima area of Semarang is caused by the lack of drainage performance, high sedimentation, and not yet maximum in flood control using provision of water pumps. There are some scenarios to solve that proble,. the first scenario is by fixing the channels in Simpang Lima are of Semarang in order to increase the capacity of channel flow. This way includes widening the channel, fixing the slope of bottom channel, and scanting the discourtesy of channel flow wall. Second scenario is by making new channel in Simpang Lima cycle, because of the difficult to rehabilitate the existing channel which locates under sidewalk of Simpang Lima cycle, so taken solution to make new channel. The new channel locates under the road of Simpang Lima cycle and uses closed channel type. The third scenario is by maximizing the capacity in Kartini Pump Station. Hope by maximizing the capacity of pump may fasten the process of water disposal from Kampung Kali River to Banjir Kanal Timur River and reduce water level in Simpang Lima area of Semarang drainage channel downstream section.
