Abstract

ABSTRACT Subak is one of cultural traditional heritage in Bali which need maintained properly and suistainably. This institution is Balinese wall to protect the culture from outside world. In order to maintain THK suistainability, the research carried out at two different areas, tourism at Subak Juwuk Manis and agriculture at Subak Temesi. Invers Matrix Analysis is used to observe the level of THK suistainability, while Fuzzy Set Theory is used to rank each matrix cell component. The level of suistainability determined by the level of solidity based on its transferability. The study found that the tourism visit, in both tourism and agricultural areas, has no negative impact on the suistainability of THK values, with good categories, 85.52% for Subak Juwuk Manis and 78.83% for Subak Temesi. There is also a variation of dominant matrix component in each cell of THK sub-systems. It is suggested that the rank of each THK matrix component has to be paid attention. Moreover, the intensity of guiding should be started from the least dominant to the most dominant cell of matrix. Key words: Sustainability, Tri Hita Karana, Subak ABSTRAK Subak merupakan salah satu lembaga tradisional warisan sumberdaya budaya di Bali yang sangat perlu dilestarikan melalui pembinaan yang tepat dan berkelanjutan. Lembaga ini merupakan benteng masyarakat Bali dalam menghadapi berbagai gempuran budaya akibat derasnya arus globalisasi dan pariwisata yang melanda dunia dan Bali pada khususnya. Sebagai upaya untuk menjaga kelestarian dan keberlanjutan nilai-nilai THK tersebut, dilakukan penelitian di dua kawasan yang berbeda yakni kawasan wisata (Subak Juwuk Manis) dan kawasan agraris (Subak Temesi). Dua analisis dilakukan yaitu analisis Inverse Matrix untuk mengetahui tingkat keberlanjutan nilai-nilai THK serta analisis Fuzzy Set Theory dilakukan untuk menentukan ranking komponen setiap sel matrik. Tingkat keberlanjutan dinilai dari tingkat soliditas berdasarkan transferabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa arus wisatawan yang mendatangi kawasan wisata maupun kawasan agraris tidak memberikan dampak negatif terhadap keberlanjutan nilai-nilai THK dengan kategori baik dengan skor 85,52% (untuk Subak Juwuk Manis) dan 78,83% (untuk Subak Temesi). Terdapat variasi dominansi komponen matrik pada setiap sel matrik hubungan subsistem-subsistem dari THK. Dirasakan perlu memperhatikan dengan seksama hasil perankingan pada setiap komponen matrik nilai-nilai THK. Tingkat intensitas pembinaan dimulai dari sel matrik paling tidak dominan hingga ke sel matrik paling dominan. Kata kunci: Keberlanjutan, Tri Hita Karana, Subak

Abstract

Cashew Nut Product Quality Control In PT East Indo Fair Trading, Karangasem Regency, Bali ProvincePT East Indo Fair Trading is one of cashew nut manufacturing company in Bali. Company has been applied management quality in accordance guidelines standard prevailing, but the fact remains found damage to products. The purpose of research to know processing the cashew nut, supervise the quality uses statistics method and total cost for quality control steady. Based on the research done, there are 11 stages production processed of cashew nut. Quality control analysis include: quality control the beginning until the end of the production process, quality control using controlled map analysis these show that the process is controllable, and quality control using cause and effect diagram analysis that show the source of the product?s damage is affected by raw material, human resources, and mechanism. Based on the analysis on total quality cost, actual quality cost the spend by the company are Rp 214.583.333,00 with the total of damage around 8.460 kilograms, and total quality cost over optimum quality are Rp 190.673.096,00 with the total of optimum damage around 5.153,33 kilograms, with the difference of streamlined cost are Rp 23.910.237,00 and the extent of damage differences over the cashew nut products are 3.306,67 kilograms. The recommended suggestion is the company better use statistic quality control method and increase the procedure also the appropriate working method.

The results showedHeliconiaflower businessinSekarBumiFarmis feasiblebased on the financialaspect.Thisagribusinessinvestmenthasto fill several criteria, among others, the NetB/C>1isRp 1.48, NPV>0isRP153.332.226,73,IRR>discount factorof 18%, which is22.38% andpaybackperiodless than productive of this plant(10 years) is5,32years. Sensitivity analysisshowedthat development of Heliconia is no longer feasible to conduct if the increase cost of labor is more than 3% or the revenue falls below 14%. The problemsfaced in this business, consist oftwofactors:internal and external factors. Internal factorsincludelack of capitalinvestmentandlimited number of varietiesof the plants. While, the external factoriscompetitionwithimported productsandfrom outside region.It is suggested that SekarBumiFarmmanagerstoincreaseHeliconiaflowertypesandto expandthe marketingnetwork. Abstract

Analysis of Red Chili Trading System in Besakih Village, Rendang Sub-Districtof Karangasem Regency Besakih village as one of the centers of red chilli production in Karangasem Regencyhas several marketing channels with different prices between producers andconsumers. This study aims to investigate the channels of trading, commercialinstitutions, and the red chili trading system in the Village of Besakih. The data usedwere quantitative and qualitative data. The analysis used descriptive qualitative.Respondents in the study were 38 farmers determined by proportional randomsampling method and 23 respondents of trading institutions determined by snowballsampling method. The research result was six channels of trading system, (1)Farmers ? Local Assembly Trader?s - Retailers - Consumers; (2) Farmers - LocalAssembly Trader?s - Retailers - Consumers; (3) Farmers ? Sub Terminal ofAgribusiness - Retailers - Consumers; (4) Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness -Retailers - Consumers; (5) Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness - Consumers; (6)Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness ? Market in Lombok. The most efficienttrading channel was channel II. The trading agency consists of local assemblytrader?s / inter-city / inter-district traders, Sub Terminal of Agribusiness / inter-city /inter-district / inter island traders, traditional market retailers and supermarketretailers. Each of the trading system institution involved the three main functions ofexchange, physical function and facility function. However, the activities undertakenby each institution were different.

Abstract

Efficiency Analysis of The Use Of Red Chili Production Factors in Red Chili Farming at Besakih Village, Rendang, Karangasem The research was conducted in Besakih Village, Rendang Sub-District, Karangasem Regency which is one of red chili farming centers in Karangasem Regency. The problem is that production tends to decline over the past five years. This study aims to analyze the effect of production factors and the level of efficiency of the use of red chili production factors on the red chili production in Besakih Village. The method used to analyze the factors of production was the Cobb-Douglas production function. Data were obtained from 62 respondents by census method. Efficiency was calculated by analyzing the ratio of marginal production prices to factor prices. The results showed that production factors that affect the amount of production include land, seed, manure, NPK, leaf fertilizer, calcium fertilizer, pesticides, and labor. Simultaneously, the influence of production factor was 93,90% to the amount of red chili production, while partially, factors that affect the production of red chili were seed, manure, NPK and pesticide. The production factor that has been efficient in its use was NPK fertilizer. Factors of seed production and manure have not been efficient, so their use needs to be added. Leaf fertilizer production factors, calcium fertilizers, pesticides, and labor usage were inefficient, so the use needs to be reduced.

Abstract

Abstract The Pattern of Partnership between Heliconia Farmers and Sekar Bumi Farm in Kerta Village Payangan District Gianyar Regency Heliconia is a type of tropical ornamental plant which is often referred to as ornamental banana. Heliconia is one of ornamental plants developed in Payangan District. Heliconia farmers cooperated with Sekar Bumi Farm in provide infrastructure, market access, and could meet production needs for Sekar Bumi Farm so that it can provide benefits for both parties partners. The purpose of this research was  to determine: (1) the mechanisms of partnership, (2) the success of the partnership, (3) the benefits of the partnership, and (4) constraints faced in partnership. Respondents of this research was 40 % of the 72 members of Amerta Jati, Jati Mekar and Jati Mulia farmers group. Data was obtained through observation method, documentation study, and interview using questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis were used in this research. The results indicated that (1) Form of implementation is done in partnership with Sekar Bumi Farm using plasma core pattern (2) mechanism of partnership between farmers with Sekar Bumi Farm originated from Sekar Bumi Farm to approach farmers to be willing to partner, creating a cooperation agreement concerning the rights and obligations of each party, and agree on the agreements (3) ratio of farmer?s profit increased before partnering was 0.98 to 1.34 after joining partnership, (4) benefits of the partnership on the technical aspects, namely Sekar Bumi Farm provide information to farmers, the economic aspect is a guaranteedmarket and increasing farm income, and the social aspect that is the desireof continuity of cooperation, and (5) Constraints in the partnership is unstable market prices, harvesting is not on schedule, weather factors affecting production, and the number and role of extension worker of the Sekar Bumi Farm is still less than optimal. Abstract

Analysis Of Raw Material Inventory Control of Tauco On The KetchupManalagi Company Denpasar BaliThis study was conducted to examine the essential part of a company namely rawmaterial. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of raw materialinventory control efficiency in implementing the manufacture company's rawmaterial inventory control systems are efficient. The actual raw material controllingon the Kecap Manalagi?s company is 2.500 kg, 23% holding cost, ordering cost perorder is Rp 1.300.000 and the price of tauco is Rp 9.925 per kg. Economic OrderQuantity (EOQ) method that should be done by the company is 7.275 kg, with sixtimes frequency in a year of ordering raw material, and the exact re-order point forcompany is 3.197 kg. The results showed that the total cost of inventory in the EOQmethod of Rp 16.608.313, while the total cost of the actual inventory of Rp27.020.437, so that savings are Rp 10.412.124 (38,5% of the actual total inventorycost). The suggestions that the authors recommend is (1) companies need to reviewthe control methods applied during this time, because it is based on the calculationmethod used by the researchers also companies need to review the ordering costand holding cost so the cost of the inventory can be minimize.

Abstract

Analysis of Raw Material Inventory Control on the Wood Sawdust(Case Study on Mushroom Oka Bali, Penarungan Village, Mengwi District,Badung Regency)The raw material is an important factor that should be utilized effectively andefficiently. Raw materials that are not available will result the production processwould not be possible. This study aims to determine the amount of raw materialinventory control efficiency in implementing the company raw material inventorycontrol systems are effective. Economic Order Quantity method that should be doneby the company is 15,64 ton, with six times frequency in year of ordering rawmaterial, and the exact reorder point for company is 1,29 ton. The results showedthat the total cost of inventory in the Economic Order Quantity method of Rp1.652.039,00; so that savings are Rp 489.565.00. The suggestions that the authorsrecommend is 1) Oka Mushroom Bali in procuring raw material wood sawdust,should make purchases in large numbers and with a low frequency per productionperiod , this is done with the aim to minimize inventory costs that will be incurredby the company; and 2) companies should determine the magnitude of Safety Stockand the Reorder Point appropriately in the inventory control of raw materials toprotect or preserve the possibility of a shortage or excess materials and preventdelays in raw material ordered.

Abstract

Analysis Customer Satisfaction in Buying Fresh Fruits in Moena Fresh Bali Increased consumption of fruits in the country have an impact on the growth of fruitsales in Indonesia. This increase causes the appearance of stiff competition in thebusiness of fruits. Moena Fresh Bali as one of the companies that sell fresh fruitsmust innovate or improve the shortage so that the consumers do not turn to otherproducts. Consumer behavior may help explain how consumers obtain satisfaction.The purpose of this research is to determine satisfaction of Moena Fresh Baliconsumers and to find out actions to increase customer satisfaction of Moena Fresh.The location of the research was conducted at four Moena Fresh outlets as it wasconsidered to represent consumers in every sub-district in Denpasar City. Thenumber of respondents was as many as 50 respondents and the sampling wasconducted by using accidental sampling. Types of data collected include quantitativeand qualitative data which were sourced from primary and secondary data. Methodsof data collection were by using interview techniques, observation, anddocumentation. Data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis, ImportancePerformance Analysis and Customer Satisfaction Index. Based on the results ofresearch, the calculation of CSI to the attributes of Moena Fresh Bali was 77.6% i.e.it meets the criteria of satisfaction. Based on the Matrix of Importance Performance,product attributes are classified into four quadrants and actions to improve customersatisfaction are through the improvement of attributes that become the main priority,namely the attributes of advertising / promotion, price, and discounts. The studysuggests that Moena Fresh Bali should perform printed and electronic publicationsand set competitive prices to maintain its customers.

Abstract

Abstract Analysis of raw material inventory control  cocoa beans Delicacao Bali factory in  the district Tabanan   Raw material availability is very important for the production process, therefore Delicacao Bali factory should be able to determine the amount of optimal raw material inventory. Reduce the cost of inventory in order to keep the production process running smoothly. In this case the company needs to analyze the inventory management to be able to minimize the total cost incurred in the  inventory. This study aims to (1) analyze raw material inventory control conducted by Delicacao Bali, (2) analyze alternative raw material inventory control to be applied,the Bali Delicacao to improve the efficiency of the inventory costs. The method used in the study included (1) Qualitative descriptive method and (2) Quantitative Method. The results of analysis the inventory cost, methods MRP of company policy shows that inventory control policy Delicacao Bali cocoa beans is not optimal. The comparison total inventory costs incurred by the company in 2013 amounted to Rp 19,998,452.00, when using the technique of LFL company can issue a total inventory cost of Rp 8,600,000.00, and cost savings (efficiency) reached 54.93 %. While the techniques EOQ company can issue a total cost of Rp 4,109,355.18 and cost savings (efficiency) reached 79.45 %. MRP techniques EOQ is an alternative method that can be recommended to the company as an inventory control techniques in the hopes this method can save the cost of raw material.  Keywords : Inventory cost, MRP, Delicacao Bali
