Abstract

Consumer’s buying decision and learning are two variables that are not separate. As a learner, consumer makes knowledge construction to reach meaningful learning, i.e. consumer solves the problem and makes buying decision correctly. Consumer varies in making knowledge construction. The variation is based on consumer’s learning style. This paper is reviewing the dimensions of consumer’s learning style based on the available learning style models. The review is intended to provide theoretical foundation to conduct research in the future. Keywords: consumer’s learning style, dimensions.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to strengthen the influence of PBL models on the ability of critical thinking and mastery of the concept of IPA class IV on the material properties of light. This research type is quasy experiment with pretest posttest control group design. The number of IVA and IVB students is 31. The instrument used in the research is the test of critical thinking ability in the form of essay and the question of mastering the concept of IPA in the form of multiple choice. This study obtained the results that the ability of student to predict students` concept of science is higher than the conventional model.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji adanya pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep IPA kelas IV pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Penelitian menggunakan jenis quasy experimen dengan pretest-posttest. Jumlah siswa kelas IVA dan IVB adalah 31. Instrumen pengukuran yaitu soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa esai dan soal tes penguasaan konsep IPA berupa pilihan ganda. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan berpkir krits dan pengasaan konsep IPA siswa yang menerapkan model PBL lebih tinggi dibanding dengan yang dibelajarkan model konvensional.

Abstract

Abstract: In a tight competition climate among organizations, it is expected that each institution is able to provide excellent service to its customers. In a context of education institution, educators have important roles in developing students’ competencies either academically through delivering teaching learning process or through other non-academic activities. To be able to work effectively, they need to have extra-role behaviors. It means that they have to pay attention to students, colleagues, and school organization. In this research, hypothetically, principal leadership is examined as an antecedent variable to organizational learning and its impact to extra-role behavior. Survey was conducted to economic education students who were taking field internship program at schools. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze casual relationship among variables investigated. Research findings revealed that principal leadership has direct effect to organizational learning and indirect effect to extra-role behavior. Abstract

This research aims to describe the character education cooperation that occurred in the learning curriculum of elementary school students in 2013. The study was conducted by literature studies and preliminary study in four schools in the city of Malang in order to adjust the results of the study of literature with the circumstances that happened at school. The review of the literature it is known that the character of cooperation can improve the ability to interact and confidence of students. However, in practice found any constraint from outside and within the educational environment. Constraints on the outside in the form of social changes that change the values, norms, culture becomes a free nation, while the constraints thatcome from within the education environment includes mind-set, education policy and curriculum. This is consistent with the results of a preliminary study in which the implementation of character education curriculum in 2013 is still oriented on the ability of students' knowledge, attitudes and skills while the ability is still not integrated in acomprehensive manner.Keywords: Character education, Collaboration, Curriculum 2013 http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v1i12016p033

Abstract

The Research aimed at producing multimedia learning material IPS geographical condition of Indonesia in fifth grade elementary school students who meet the eligibility terms of validity, practicability, the attractiveness and effectiveness. This study is a Research & Development (R & D) with a model of the development of Lee & Owens (2004) with the systematic stages. The stages are analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results showed the level of validity 87.92%, 92.47% rate of practicality, the attractiveness of the level of 93.57% and 90.90% level of validity. Advice from experts and users into consideration in the improvement of the product so that the product be fit for use.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran IPS materi kondisi geografis wilayah Indonesia pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar yang memenuhi kelayakan dari segi kevalidan, kepraktisan, kemenarikan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Lee & Owens (2004) dengan tahapan yang sistematis, yaitu tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan 87,92%, tingkat kepraktisan 93,56%, tingkat kemenarikan 93,59% dan tingkat kevalidan 90,90%. Saran dari para ahli dan pengguna menjadi pertimbangan dalam perbaikan produk sehingga produk menjadi layak digunakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop thematic’s supplementary book for the fourth grade with a focus on the study of alternative energy and natural resources material. Thematic’s supplementary book was developed based on student characteristics and contextual. The materials were validated in terms of content, language, and design, the materials were tried out to three elementary students in one-to-one evaluation, six elementary students in small-group evaluations, and to twenty nine elementary students in field trial evaluation. The trial results demonstrate the feasibility of teaching materials have a high level. The average validity got 87.90, the practicality 85.76, and the effectiveness 91.95. So it is recomended be implemented as a supporting source in the learning activities, especially in studying alternative energy & natural resources.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan suplemen buku ajar tematik untuk kelas IV SD dengan fokus kajian pada materi energi alternatif & sumber daya alam. Suplemen buku ajar dikembangkan berdasarkan karakteristik siswa dan kontekstual. Suplemen buku ajar divalidasikan pada aspek isi, bahasa, dan desain, selanjutnya diujicobakan kepada tiga siswa pada uji perorangan, enam siswa pada uji kelompok kecil dan 29 siswa pada uji kelompok besar. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar sangat tinggi. Rata-rata kevalidan sebesar 87,90, kepraktisan 85,76, dan keefektifan 91,95. Disarankan bahan ajar ini diimplementasikan untuk sumber pendukung pembelajaran tematik, khususnya materi energi alternatif & sumber daya alam.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of cooperative learning Take and Give and Quick on the Draw in grade IV SD Jogoyitnan. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the type cooperative learning Take and Give and Quick on the Draw can improve student learning outcomes class IV SD Jogoyitnan. Results completeness study before action is taken by 30.43% increased in the first cycle to 82.6% and the second cycle increased to 91.3% by KKM 75.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Take and Give dan Quick on the Draw pada siswa kelas IV SD Jogoyitnan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Take and Give dan Quick on the Draw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Jogoyitnan. Ketuntasan Hasil belajar sebelum dilakukan tindakan sebesar 30,43% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 82,6% dan pada siklus II sebesar  91,3% dengan KKM 75.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials that support the implementation of School Literacy Movement Programme to improve the effectiveness and productivity of thematic learning in fourth grade of elementary school students. The product of the developed teaching materials is designed with the literacy as the substance and the framework of TANDUR on Quantum Teaching as its presentation systematics. The research and development method used by Dick & Carey model. The results of the development stage were found: (a) the less effective and productive causes of the fourth-grade students learning, and (b) the need for literacy-based teaching materials and are characterized by relevant Quantum Teaching. At the development stage generated literature-based thematic students book is characterized by Quantum Teaching and teachers manual that has been tested feasibility.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengahsilkan bahan ajar yang mendukung Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan produktivitas pembelajaran tematik kelas IV SD. Produk bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dirancang dengan literasi sebagai substansi dan kerangka perancangan TANDUR pada Quantum Teaching sebagai sistematika penyajiannya. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adal model Dick & Carey. Hasilnya pada tahap pengembangan ditemukan: (a) penyebab kurang efektif dan produktifnya pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas IV, dan (b) kebutuhan bahan ajar berbasis literasi dan bercirikan Quantum Teaching yang relevan. Pada tahap pengembangan dihasilkan buku siswa dan buku panduan guru tematik berbasis literasi bercirikan Quantum Teaching teruji kelayakannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce instructional media such as video clips that feasible as a supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter. This study uses a five-step development refers to the model developed by Lee & Owens. Test subjects in this study were students and teachers of SD N Nogotirto Gamping Sleman. The results showed that video clips media meet the criteria of very valid with an average of 81.85% product validity. The level of practicality and attractiveness of the products based on user trials are respectively 96.38% and 94.39%. Activities of students acquire 89.00% rate of attainment. Based on the results of the product analysis can be concluded that the video clip is very well worth to be used as an instructional supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan  media pembelajaran berupa video klip yang layak sebagai suplemen untuk pembelajaran materi Keberagaman Budaya Bangsaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima langkah pengembangan yang merujuk pada model yang dikembangkan Lee & Owens. Subjek ujicoba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SDN Nogotirto Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata kevalidan produk sebesar 81,85%. Tingkat kepraktisan dan kemenarikan produk berdasarkan uji coba pengguna berturut-turut sebesar 96,38% dan 94,39%. Aktivitas siswa memperoleh tingkat pencapaian 89,00%. Berdasarkan seluruh hasil analisis produk dapat disimpulkan bahwa video klip pembelajaran ini sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai suplemen pembelajaran materi Keberagaman Budaya Bangsaku.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the difference of critical thinking ability of experiment class students using inquiry strategy based multiliteracies skills with control class using conventional learning. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Meulaboh. The subjects of the study were the students of class VIII with the sample of class VIII-A and VIII-B which amounted to 54 students. This type of research is quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The result of the research showed (1) the improvement of students critical thinking ability with moderate qualification after receiving treatment with multiliteration skills based inquiry strategy, (2) there is a significant difference of students critical thinking ability in the experimental class and control class. Based on the results of the research that has been proposed, the inquiry strategy based multiliteracies skills is recommended for the use of IPS teachers in improving students critical thinking ability.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Meulaboh. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan sampel kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B yang berjumlah 54 siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan kualifikasi sedang setelah menerima treatment dengan strategi pembelajan inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi, (2) terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dikemukakan, maka strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi direkomendasikan untuk digunakan guru IPS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
