Abstract

Abstract Analysis of Certified Organic Rice Farming Income (Case Farmers Group of Gana Sari District of Badung) Gana Sari group is engaged in the development of organic rice and has organic certificate, necessary to study the analysis of certified organic rice farming income . This study conducted to determine the amount of income , the R / C ratio and application of Internal Control System ( ICS ) at the Farmer Group of Gana Sari. Determination respondents income analysis by cencus and key informants to determine the application of the ICS. The analysis is the farm income , R / C ratio , and descriptive analysis . The result showed an average cash reached Rp 19.293.373,52 and the total income reached Rp 16.023.633,71 per hectare per cropping season. The value of R / C ratio of the total cost was 2.41 and comparison of the cost is 3.38 . The indicates is the certified organic rice farming viable. ICS of gana sari group applied to entire process of culvation and infrastructure including warehouse or farmhouses. ICS carried inspector on all members of farmer and external oversight by LeSos. Suggested  to farmers in order to maintain the rice farm is certified organic, farmer groups and ICS officials filed a related department in order to help the staff ICS purchasing, storage, and processing can carry out their duties. Training of the farmers also need to be done continuosly so that farmers consistent to maintain the certificate. Keyword : farmbusiness, rice certified organic, revenue, internal control system

Abstract

AbstractFactors That Affect Consumer Demand Against Local Oranges in Denpasar CityThis study aims to test the accuracy of demand function model to approach the demand local oranges in Denpasar, identify the factors that affect consumer demand to local oranges in Denpasar, and estimate the elasticity of citrus nobilis demand in Denpasar. Location choosen purposely those in the kreneng market, ketapian market, sanglah market, and badung markets. The population on this research are the buyers of local oranges fruit. Samples taken as many as 50 people use purposive sampling techniques. This research using two demand function models namely linier demand function and Cobb-Douglas demand function who tested with three criteria which resulted the best model. Independent variable that affects was : the price of local oranges (x1), the price of import oranges (x2), the price of apples (x3), the price of mango (x4), family income (x5), and extended family (x6). Cobb-Douglas demand function model namely LnY = 2,912 - 1,109LnX1* - 1,461LnX2* - 1,579LnX3* +1,383LnX4* + 0,622LnX5* + 1,449LnX6*. Factors that affects are the price of local oranges, the price of other fruit (import oranges, apple, mango ), family income, andthe number of family members. Price elasticity on the demand of local oranges is elastic. Complementary goods namely import orange fruit and apples. Substitutiongoods namely mango. Income elasticity showed that local oranges is inelastic. Consumers should choose the local oranges, because more assured quality and isproduced domestically.

Abstract

The Realization of Agricultural Machinery Aid To Subak(Implementation Case of Special Effort Program Enhancement of RiceCorn and Soybeans Production in Subak Penginyahan, Puhu Village ofPayangan District, Gianyar) Indonesia is one of agricultural country and most of the citizen work in agriculturesector but in some recent years Indonesia always import food from other countries, toprevent this from happening continuously in 2015, the government makes a specialeffort progarm (Upsus) enhancement of rice, corn, and soybeans production in 2017is expected that Indonesia has reached food self-sufficiency, Upsus program hassome kind of aids like agricultural equipment and machine aid (Alsintan) that isexpected to simplify and speed up the production process.This study aims to find out(1) To find out the suitability of the proposed agricultural machinery aid (Alsintan)proposed by Subak Penginyahan; (2) To find out the use of agricultural machinerywhich is Subak Penginyahan recieved.The location of this research is located inSubak Penginyahan, Puhu Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. Populationof this research is 70 active members of Subak Penginyahan. Sample size wasdetermined using Nottoadmojo formula, so the number of respondents who weretaken 41 people and added with 1 respondent from Agriculture Department ofGianyar Regency, 1 PPL respondent who in charge at Penginyahan Subak and 1respondent from Pekaseh Subak Penginyahan.The result of this study indicates thatthe realization of Alsintan aid in Subak Penginyahan is not suitable as purposed.There are differences in numbers and types of Alsintan that is proposed with receivedby Subak. For Alsintan type received by Subak is alsintan hand tractor type with thisthe realization of Alsintan aid that is purposed by Subak is suitable with what isproposed by Subak. Based on findings of the research that the writer conducted, itcan be suggested to the government to increase its attention to the farmercontinuously; In this case to continue aids provision that could help and provoke theenthusiasm of farmers to farm.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dulang Craft Industry Profile and the Contributions Against Total Household Income of Framer in Pengotan village of Bangli District of Bangli Regency Pengotan village is a village that became the center of handicraft industry of household, one types of handicraft that produced in this village is the dulang craft. Dulang is one of the means that used as offerings at Hinduism ceremony. In addition, the survival dulang industry this is also useful as a medium inpreserving local culture. The purpose of this study is to find out how much acceptance of farmer household is; to determine how the labor productivity and productivity costs such; and to find out how big the contribution of dulang industry to total household income of farmers. Data analysis method that used in this study is the formula of acceptance, the labor productivity and costs productivity and the percentage contribution of the craft. The results showed that, the handicraft industry is able to provide additional income to the total income of the household, the level of labor productivity and costs productivity dulang craft industry can be classified as an i productive industrial because it has more value than one, and dulang craft workmanship able to providing a substansial contribution to earning total farm households. Abstract

Abstract Noble values ??contained in Subak finally set to make UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in need of protection. The challenge is not only coming from the onslaught of tourism alone but the biggest challenge comes from farmers themselves, namely the lack of interest of young generation to carry on the profession as a farmer. This led to concerns about the sustainability and preservation of the water control system. Subak as one of the world's cultural heritage contained in Sub Sukawati Gianyar regency which Subak Kulub Atas, Subak Kulub Bawah, and Subak Pulagan. Very important for the socialization of Subak as a world heritage, especially on the definition and management to the surrounding communities and the general location of the high school students in the District Sukawati Gianyar regency. Service activities that have been conducted in SMU 1 Sukawati, these students showed enthusiasm in listening to the material that we provide. After counseling, community service our team provides time for students to discuss around the water control system and world heritage, and there are many students who are interested and ask questions about how to preserve Subak and what they should do as the younger generation. As their young people are less interested in working in the agricultural sector, but they have the desire to preserve subak. Keywords: subak, world cultural heritage, agricultural

Abstract

Abstract The Pattern of Partnership between Heliconia Farmers and Sekar Bumi Farm in Kerta Village Payangan District Gianyar Regency Heliconia is a type of tropical ornamental plant which is often referred to as ornamental banana. Heliconia is one of ornamental plants developed in Payangan District. Heliconia farmers cooperated with Sekar Bumi Farm in provide infrastructure, market access, and could meet production needs for Sekar Bumi Farm so that it can provide benefits for both parties partners. The purpose of this research was  to determine: (1) the mechanisms of partnership, (2) the success of the partnership, (3) the benefits of the partnership, and (4) constraints faced in partnership. Respondents of this research was 40 % of the 72 members of Amerta Jati, Jati Mekar and Jati Mulia farmers group. Data was obtained through observation method, documentation study, and interview using questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis were used in this research. The results indicated that (1) Form of implementation is done in partnership with Sekar Bumi Farm using plasma core pattern (2) mechanism of partnership between farmers with Sekar Bumi Farm originated from Sekar Bumi Farm to approach farmers to be willing to partner, creating a cooperation agreement concerning the rights and obligations of each party, and agree on the agreements (3) ratio of farmer?s profit increased before partnering was 0.98 to 1.34 after joining partnership, (4) benefits of the partnership on the technical aspects, namely Sekar Bumi Farm provide information to farmers, the economic aspect is a guaranteedmarket and increasing farm income, and the social aspect that is the desireof continuity of cooperation, and (5) Constraints in the partnership is unstable market prices, harvesting is not on schedule, weather factors affecting production, and the number and role of extension worker of the Sekar Bumi Farm is still less than optimal. Abstract

The Potential Analysis Availability Of Bamboo Plants and The Marketing ofBamboos Product at Kayubihi Village, Bangli Distric, Bangli Regency. Analysis of the potential availability of bamboo plants in Kayubihi Village, BangliSubdistrict, Bangli Regency is divided into two analyzes, namely the analysis ofpotential availability and marketing analysis. Analysis of potential availability to knowthe potency of bamboo found in Kayubihi Village while for marketing seen marketingchannel, marketing margin, and profit margin with the election of three main productsproduced by Kayubihi Village. Types of data used in this study are qualitative data andquantitative data and data sources obtained from primary data and secondary data. Datacollection methods used there are three namely Library research, field research andstudy literature. The population in this study were 50 bamboo farmers who were alsobamboo craftsmen. Data analysis was done descriptively quantitative and qualitativedescriptive. The results showed that the analysis of potential availability with five typesof bamboo plants is under 200 clumps/ha which means not yet potential. Bamboo isprocessed into handicrafts and marketed for marketing the main products are sokasi,cakes basket, and coocked rice basked. Each product has three marketing channels. Themost profit margin obtained in each marketing channel is at producer level. The shortestmarketing margin in each channel because it is directly to the consumer.

Abstract

The Farmer?s Motivation In Cultivating The Papaya Calina Plant(Carica papaya L) (The Farmer?s Group of Calina Papaya at Sulangai Village, onPetang District, in Badung Regency). Sulangai village is the village where most of the villagers work as a farmer. One of thefarmer?s work done by the farmer in that village is papaya calina. Based on thedescription above, it?s interesting to analyze about the motivation faced by the farmer incultivating the papaya calina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badungregency. The purpose of this research is to know the farmer?s motivation in cultivatingthe papaya calina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency. Theresearch held at sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency particularly infarmer?s group of papaya calina. The location of the research is based on the purposivemethod which is determination of the research location deliberately. The population inthis research is 20 farmers.Based on the research data, the intrinsic motivation of the farmer cultivating the papayacalina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency is categories highpercentage about 70,81%. The intrinsic motivation of the farmer in cultivating thepapaya calina plant generally categories in high percentage about 79,09%.Based on theresearch the farmer?s group as the one who does this job is brave to try this technologyin cultivating the papaya calina plant which is given by the instructor. By trying thetechnology, the farmer?s group will get more new experiences to do in cultivatingpapaya calina in the future.

Abstract

Thesis Title "Knowledge and Application of Tri Hita Karana in Subak to Support Sustainable Horticulture Food Agriculture (The Case of Subak Mungkagan, Sembung Village, Mengwi, Badung Regency)"Bali historically owns traditions, culture and religious commitment of its own in the form of an organization called Subak. All Subaks in Bali apply the concept of Tri Hita Karana one of them being Subak Mungkagan. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of knowledge, and the farmers? application of Tri Hita Karana in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable crop farming, in the village of Sembung, Mengwi, Badung regency. Subak Mungkagan population numbered 161 people. The determination of samples used quota sampling and random sampling. The respondents taken amounted to 32 people. The results showed that the farmers? knowledge of Tri Hita Karana in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable horticulture agriculture, village Sembung, Mengwi, Badung belonged to the excellent category by achieving a score of 4.28. The level of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana by farmers in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable food crops, also belonged to the excellent category by achieving a score of 4.17. Based on the research it can be suggested the existence of sanctuaries and their use has been complete, what needs to be considered is the cleanliness after praying in the temple area. Extension in Subak Mungkagan is only done twice a year, it should have been done five times a year, so that knowledge and application of Tri Hita Karana aspects Palemahan in particular in Mungkagan Subak is related to the relationship of Subak members with the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Efficiency Analysis of the Use of Production Input on Shallot Farming in Songan B Village, Kintamani Sub-District, of Bangli Regency Bali is a tourism area and a potential market for shallot business. One of the shallotproduction centers in Bali is Songan B Village, Kintamani Sub-District, BangliRegency. Fluctuating shallot production is thought to be due to the inefficient use ofproduction inputs so that it is needed to analyze the efficiency of the use of productioninputs. This study aims to determine the effect and efficiency of the use of shallotproduction inputs. The study was conducted in Songan B Village by analyzingproduction inputs such as area of arable land, seeds, manure, NPK fertilizer, solidpesticides, liquid pesticides and labor by using the Cobb-Douglas productionfunction.The data used were data in the March, April, and May planting season of 48respondents determined by a simple random method. Efficiency can be seen from thecomparison of marginal production values and production input prices. The resultsshowed that the area of cultivated land, NPK fertilizer and labor had a positive effect onthe shallot production. Solid pesticides negatively affected the shallot production, whilethe seeds, manure and liquid pesticides had no significant effect. The inefficient use ofproduction inputs is the area of cultivated land and NPK fertilizer, so that its use must be increased, while other production inputs are inefficient that their uses must bereduced.
