Abstract

The importance of understanding mindsets to direct behavior in internet-based entrepreneurship is the effort in bringing entrepreneurial learning processes close to changes in entrepreneurial behavior. This study aims to determine the grouping of students? mind sets in two growth and fixed categories, knowing the description of mind set content and internet entrepreneurial behavior in students, knowing the differences in internet entrepreneurial behavior based on student mindsets, knowing the correlation between mind set and internet entrepreneurial behavior, then know the contribution of mindset to internet entrepreneurial behavior. This research method with a quantitative approach, using a likert scale questionnaire instrument, the sample is students registered at UPI YPTK Padang in 2018/2019 academic year totaling 148 people, sampling from the population is done by purposive sampling technique, data analysis with percentage techniques in describing data, independent test sample t test for different tests, pearson correlation product moment analysis for testing the relationship of variables and the square of r for testing the contribution. The results of the analysis state that 45% of students with a fixed mind set and 55% with a growth mind set, students with a growth mind set have better internet entrepreneurial behavior with an average of 86.82%. Hypothesis testing states that there are differences in student internet entrepreneurial behavior based on personal mindsets, there is a fairly strong correlation between mind set with internet entrepreneurial behavior, with a contribution of 20.4%. It is proven that students with growth mindsets have higher behavior in internet entrepreneurial activities, therefore to increase the ability and interest of students in entrepreneurship must start from the approach to the correct mindset about entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Economic development is an essential factor to development in the country because development was not just about economy fenomena but include material and financial problem in the life many people. So that implementation of suitable policies succeed to achieve many object and purpose of effective development need good planning and evaluation. For example Padang Panjang City, location quotient showed that basic sector is electricity and transportation. base on the result the goverment have to take a policy that actually develop the basic sector until give a big value added to income of the city non basic sector must be develop together with basic sector because connected to economic growth .Keywords : Economic development, location quotient, basic sector electricity

Abstract

Abstrak Telah disintesis senyawa oksotrinuklir dengan terminal ligan piridin [Ru3O(OOCC6H5)6(C5H5N)3]ClO4. Senyawa oksotrinuklir hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi menggunakan spektrofotometer FT-IR dan spektrometer massa. Hasil identifikasi dengan spektrofotometer FT-IR menunjukkan senyawa oksotrinuklir hasil sintesis memiliki vibrasi khas pada bilangan gelombang 698 cm-1. Pengukuran menggunakan spektrometer massa menkonfirmasi bahwa senyawa oksotrinuklir memiliki ligan terminal piridin yang mudah terfragmentasi yang ditandai dengan puncak ion molekul pada m/z 1283,14 dan puncak ion fragmen pada m/z 1205,09 yang mengindikasikan lepasnya satu molekul piridin sebagai terminal ligan. Kata kunci : senyawa oksotrinuklir, sintesis satu langkah, ruthenium, piridin.   Abstract Synthesis of oxotrinuclear with pyridine as terminal ligand [Ru3O(OOCC6H5)6 (C5H5N)3]ClO4 has been carried out. Oxotrinuclear compound from synthesis was characterized using FT-IR spectrophotometer and mass spectrometer. The FTIR spectrum shows that oxotrinuclear compound has vibration at wavelength 698 cm-1 and mass spectrometer spectrum shows oxotrinuclear compound has pyridine as terminal ligand which easily fragmented indicated by molecular ion peak at m/z 1283.14 and ion fragment peak at m/z 1205.09. These values revealed one molecule of pyridine lost from terminal ligand. Keywords : oxotrinuclear compound, one step synthesis, ruthenium, pyridine.

Abstract

One of the treatments for diabetes mellitus disease is to control blood sugar level using an inhibitor of ?-glucosidase enzyme. The methanol extracts of the fruit, stem, and leaves of Rhodomyrtus tomentosa were found significant in inhibiting ?-glucosidase with an IC50 value of 20.57, 20.36 and 43.99 ?g/mL respectively. The ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions from the methanol extract of R. tomentosa fruit exhibited the potent inhibition (IC50 13.49 and 19.29 ?g/mL) compare to acarbose and n-hexane fraction (IC50 383.68 and 1175.16 ?g/mL). A leptospermone derivative, rhodomyrtosone D, was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of R. tomentosa fruit. The structure of rhodomyrtosone D was identified based on spectroscopic analysis, as well as comparing with literature data. The ?-glucosidase inhibition of rhodomyrtosone D (IC50 110.45 ?g/mL) was 3.5 fold more potent than acarbose. Thus, R. tomentosa plant could be potential as a natural resource of ?-glucosidase inhibitor.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an infectious disease by a virus that is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Mild infections only cause patches on the body and mild flu symptoms. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is caused by dengue virus. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is not transmitted through human contact with humans. Predisposing factors encompass public knowledge and attitudes towards health, traditions and community trust in matters relating to health, the value system adopted by the community, education level, socio-economic level, and so on. This type of research is analytic descriptive with cross sectional method. The population in this study were patients who visited the health center totaling 25 people and a sample of 25 people taken by total sampling. Data collection tools using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately. The results of this study indicate that 64.0% of respondents have low knowledge, 52.0% of respondents have negative attitudes, 56.0% of respondents have bad actions, and 56.0% of respondents have low DHF prevention. There is a significant relationship between knowledge (0.013), attitude (0.003), action (0.010) with the prevention of DHF with p value 0.05. It is expected that respondents will maintain environmental hygiene by increasing their knowledge, attitudes and actions in preventing DHF by participating in DHF prevention activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of atsiri oils on the growth of mycelium and formation of aservulus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides causes anthracnose disease of papaya fruits in vitro. This study is an experimental study, using a completely randomized design (CRD) 3 x 4 factorial with replicates. The treatments tested were types of essential oils (Citronella, Cinnamon and Clove) and volume (0,3 mL, 9 mL and 18 mL). Data were analyzed with ANOVA and further test used is BNJ at the level of 5 % for the diameter of the colony and DNMRT at the level of 5 % for the amount of aservulus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. The results showed the essential oil can inhibit the growth of mycelium and formation of aservulus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Clove oil in 3 mL volumes can significantly inhibit the growth of mycelium with a diameter of 10.07 cm 13.77 cm whereas control. Mycelium growth were treated with clove oil is slower than the citronella oil (12.67 cm) and cinnamon oil (13.7 cm). Clove oil in 9 mL volume can significantly inhibit the formation of mold aservulus the number 71 aservulus while control aservulus 527.67. Aservulus formation of fungus treated with clove oil is slower than the citronella oil (116 aservulus) and cinnamon oil (263 aservulus).Key words : essential oils, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, antraknosa

Abstract

Telah disintesis senyawa tris(4-metoksifenil)tolilsilan (TMT) dengan teknik reaksi kopling menggunakan tolilsilan dan 4-iodida anisol yang dikatalis senyawa paladium. Reaksi dilakukan dalam kondisi inert dan suasana basa. Senyawa TMT hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi menggunakan kromatografi gas-spektrometri massa dan spektrometer 1H dan 13C NMR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa senyawa TMT hasil sintesis memiliki rendemen sebesar 30%. Pengukuran menggunakan kromatografi gas-spektrometri massa menghasilkan nilai m/z sebesar 440. Spektrum 1H NMR menunjukkan lima puncak proton ekivalen dan spektrum 13C NMR menghasilkan sepuluh puncak karbon ekivalen. Hasil karakterisasi tersebut bersesuaian dengan struktur senyawa TMT hasil sintesis.   Kata kunci: tris(4-metoksifenil)tolilsilan, reaksi kopling, paladium

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran yang paling efisien yang digunakan oleh petani karet di lokasi penelitian dan untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai keuntungan masing-masing lembaga pemasaran pada setiap saluran pemasaran. Metode penelitian untuk melihat efisiensi pemasaran digunakan analisis margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, dan Profitability Index. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 84 orang, yaitu petani karet 75 orang dan pedagang perantara 9 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saluran pemasaran paling efisien berdasarkan nilai marjin pemasaran, farmer’s share dan tingkat keuntungan (profitability index) yang diperoleh terdapat pada saluran pemasaran III di Desa Ridan, dengan nilai keuntungan pemasaran sebesar Rp. 1.037,5 margin pemasaran sebesar Rp.1.905 dan nilai farmer’s share sebesar 77,91% dengan efisiensi pemasaran 20,19%.

Abstract

Katemas (Euphorbia geniculata Ortega) known as (Mexican) Fireplants, Painted Euphorbia, Japanese poinsettia is a plant belong to Euphorbiaceae or spurge family. Traditionally, this plant is used as furgative and treat dysentry. The aims of the research were to evaluate the toxicity and to isolate one of the triterpenoid extracted using methanol from the stem of this plant. The toxicity was evaluated by mortality test against armyworm larvae (Spodoptera litura). This assay was obtained by Methanol extraction at various concentrations (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5%). The isolation process was conducted by series of work steps such as extraction, fractionation and purification. Structure elucidation was determined by spectroscopy techniques. Toxicity assay exhibited highest mortality at 5 % concentration with LC50 3,92%. Spectroscopy data analysis was able to identified a type of pentacyclic triterpenoid compound namely lupeol acetate.Keyword: Euphorbia geniculata Ortega, toxicity, lupeol acetate
