Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the influence between: 1) work discipline toward teacher performance, 2) leadership of headmaster toward teacher performance, and 3) work discipline and leadership of headmaster simultaneously toward teacher performance. The kind of this research is quantitative by using method of ex post facto. Data are obtained from questionnaire and documentation. After research and obtained the results, there is positive and significant relation between: 1) work discipline with teachers performance, it means getting better work discipline of teachers, it will increase the teachers performance, 2) leadership of headmaster with teachers performance, it means getting better teacher perception about leadership of headmaster, it will increase the teachers performance, 3) work discipline and leadership of headmaster with teachers performance, it means getting better work discipline of teacher and teacher perception about leadership of headmaster, it will increase the teacher performance.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh antara: 1) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru, 2) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, dan 3) disiplin kerja dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ex post facto. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Setelah penelitian dan diperoleh hasil, ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara: 1) disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru, itu berarti mendapatkan disiplin kerja yang lebih baik dari guru, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja guru, 2) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru, berarti mendapatkan persepsi guru yang lebih baik tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja guru, 3) disiplin kerja dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru, itu berarti mendapatkan disiplin kerja yang lebih baik dari guru dan persepsi guru tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja guru .Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja guru

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the use scanning technique effective in improving the Students? Reading Ability at the eleventh grade students? of SMK Tiwikrama Mamuju. This research took place at SMK Tiwikrama Mamuju which the researcher used pre-experimental. Population of research was the eleventh grade students of SMKTiwikrama in academic year 2019/2020. Sample of the research was 30 students that take by purposive sampling technique. The researcher used reading test as instrument of the research. Result of data analysis showed that t-table value at n-1 = 30-1=29 (at significant level ? = 0,05) was 2,045 and t-test value was 25,57. It showed t-test was higher than t-table, it meant that null hypothesis was rejected and alternative hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the use of Scanning technique could improve the students? reading ability at the eleventh gradeof SMK Tiwikrama. It was supported result of students? mean score at pre-test and post-test. Which mean score of pre-test was 49,17(very poor score) improved to 75 (good score) at the post-test.
