Sociology of Education Studies Program (STKIP) PGRI West Sumatra, Padang, 2013The research was motivated by the low activity of learners in sociology lesson. The low activity of learners is shown from the students are not serious in learning, while the teacher explains lessons chide and creative learners in improving learning less look of the tasks performed by the students did not do well. This study aimed to describe the activities of learners in the learning process sociology class XI IPS SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District.Type of research is classified by the type of descriptive qualitative research. The research object is the class XI students of SMAN 3 Lengayang IPS2 South Coastal District by the number of students by 32 people.The tool used for this study is a list that contains the results of observation checklists and learning activities of learners are processed using the formula percentage (%).These results indicate that the percentage of learners learning activities in class XI IPS2 SMAN 3 Lengayang listen to an explanation for the activity with the percentage of 53.26% of teachers, students listen to a friends question with a percentage of 27.41%, the students listened to a friend reply percentage of 28.10%, students read the book before the learning process starts with a percentage of 3.89%, students read notes/ summary of lessons with a percentage of 5.18%, subject matter with students noting the percentage of 38.53%, accounting for the bulk of students/ incomplete material that teaches about the percentage 24.88%, the student asked the teacher if students do not understand the material being taught with a percentage of 1.91%, the students asked the friend if students do not understand the material being taught teachers with a percentage of 5.09%, students answer questions from teachers and friends during the learning process takes place with a percentage of 1.91%, students only have to answer questions from the teacher during the learning process takes place with the percentage of 10.2%, of students working on a given task well with the percentage of 34.36 % of teachers, students working on the task only partially/ not complete with the percentage of 36.58%
Background taken this problems bacause the learning of teachers only implement elabotarion activities alone moderate exploration activities and confirmation is often not implemented. One for students can understand on learning materials is to carry out the core activities consisting of exploration, elaboration and konfirmation. The aims of this study to know describe the influence of process implementation of the core activities of teaching sociology at SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang. This type of research is ex post facto, the study subjects were taken proportional random sampling. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS consists of 4 classes. The sampling technique is done randomly, which was selected as the sample class is class XI IPS 1 and IPS 2.Â The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale form. The data analysis technique used in this study were student activity that has been modified to be observed student activity. Assessment results of this study were students of the core activities undertaken by teachers is very influential because most students rated the highest at 51,25%, while the lowest at 23,75%. For teachers, the core activities affect learning in high school sociology Kartika 1-5 Padang, due to the influence of the highest value of 100%, while the lowest value of 20%.
Orphanage is one of the social welfare agency responsible for providing replacement services in meeting the physical, mental and social needs of foster children ample opportunity to obtain , where appropriate their personality as well as an institution for social institutions that educate and nurture children who have social problems such as economic capacity , the lack of one of the heads of families or both , so that the family environment is no longer able to provide solutions to the problems of life that makes them feel they have no clear future . As for the problem in this research is how the role of the orphanages in supporting childrens education either formally or informally to the orphans , orphans and abandoned children , are not able to ( poor ) in the district of Agam Lubuk cone . In relation to the objectives to be achieved in this writer was to determine and describe the role of the orphanages in supporting childrens education both formally and informal.Jenis study is a qualitative research . Informants in this study is the caretaker Panti , brother foster homes and related structures in Panti Panti . The selection of informants in this study used purposive sampling techniques . Methods of data collection is done in two ways : ( 1 ) observation ( non - participant observation ) , ( 2 ) in-depth interviews , ( 3 ) documentation . Analysis of the data used by the model of interactive data analysis ( Miles and Huberman ) which includes the four stages , namely ( 1 ) data collection phase , ( 2 ) data reduction phase , ( 3 ) the stage presentation of data , ( 4 ) phase of the study concluded kesimpulan.Hasil the role of the Son of Muhammadiyah orphanage Branch Sri Antokan Lubuk cone in supporting education , both formal and informal , ( 1 ) formally : Providing a formal education to realize the highest ideals of their education kindergarten , elementary , junior high , high school and university , as well as foster children can choose which university they want . ( 2 ) Informal : Provide religious education ( spiritual ) as chanting rhythms come landfill , azan learning for primary school children , studying and preaching sermons for all ages and physical skills like holy footprint , martial arts , karate and so on as well as the language of science education Arabic and English
This research is classified as quantitative research with ex post facto type and correlational research type. Questionnaire is used as technique of data colletion and correlation product moment is used as technique of data analysis. The population of this research is all XI IPS classes in SMA N 3 Sijunjung which is registered in 2012/2013 academic year where total of students is 65 students and researcher uses porpotional random sampling as sampling technique with total sample is 56 students. Research findings showed that there is a correlation between students learning discipline in sosiology which consists of two indicators: 1). Obey the regulation in learning process, and 2). Be responsible in doing task or examination, where rhitung >rtabel so H0 rejected Ha accepted. According to this finding, learning discipline is rhitung = 0,676 > rtabel = 0,266 with significant thitung = 6,674 > ttabel = 2,000. It can be concluded that students learning discipline achievement. So, students need to improve or encourage good learning discipline and it will give positive impact or effect t their achievement in learning.
The background of this research was the parents role in supporting teaching sociology at SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The purpose of this study describe the Role of Parents in Supporting Teaching Sociology at SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Pesisir Selatan District.The method used in this study is qualitative approach with descriptive type. Decision informants used by purposive sampling. This research informants are parents who have children that are still studying in high school education (high school) in SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti and students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Pesisir Selatan District.The research findings known the role of parents in supporting the implementation of the sociology of learning at home are: 1) to meet the childs learning tool at home, parent is not maximized in the sense of the means provided inadequate. 2) In determining the childs learning or schedule an at home, parent is not optimal because they do not apply to her for making the rules and write schedule the home study. 3) In watching and guiding children in the home is not maximized their parents rarely pay attention and guide children learn at home. The reason parents busy and less assertive in determining a childs learning discipline and very easy to believe in his ability to learn . In accordance with the findings above it can be concluded that in supporting the learning of sociology at SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti role of parents is not maximized.Based on the results of this study concluded the following: 1) a learning tool in meeting the child at home, parent is not maximized, 2) In determining the childs learning or schedule an at home, parent is not maximized, 3) In considering and guide children at home, parents not maximized
Media is everything that can be used to channel a message from sender to receiver in order to stimulate mind, feeling, attention, and student interest while teaching and learning process. Media picture is one of the media in teaching process because as fasilities to support teacher and student activing in the classroom, media picture have many benefit to the teacher and student in learning process. So, the skill of the teacher is needed to design and use media picture in sosiology learning process. The purpose of this research is to ekpress the us of picture on sosiology Â learning process at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.This research is qualitative approach related to descriptive. The informant is purposive sampling related to the teacher that using media picture on sosiology learning and to the student that use media picture. Also, the the informant of this research are 2 teacher and 8 student at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The method of this research are: 1) interview, 2) observation, 3) documentation. The technique of data analysis related to Miles and Huberman: 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data display, 4) Conclusion.The result of the research: media picture is benefit to the teacher and student on sociology learning process, for the teacher: 1) Teacher is easy to explain the material, 2) To decrease student boring and enjoy the class. Beside to the student: 1) the material is easy to understand, 2) to motivate the student in teaching and learning process when the teacher use media picture.
Family is one of the important factors in determining the success of a child . family is first and foremost a place of education for every child , also act as teachers and mentors . the role of parents is crucial to the success of childrens learning coloring to achieve the goal of National. Studied in this research is the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their success in learned at Perumnas Belimbing Kuranji. Background of this research there are some childrens whose parents work as teachers do not get more attention is because her parents are always busy teaching, and beside teaching the parents who are teachers working as a merchant so the lack of time to control the child, the formulation the problem is how the role of a parent who is a teacher in supporting their children learning success at the Perumnas Belimbing, while the purpose of this study was to reveal the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their learning success. Theory used is a functional of structural Robert K.Merton focused role that parents who are teachers have consequences social. Consequence objectives of the objectives of the system arising from the actions committed by parents in fulfilling the role of the family may be a consequence of manifest or latent consequences . This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive type , data collection by observation and in-depth interviews nonparticipation. This research uses 12 parents who work as teachers and 3 childrens. informan of this research there were 15 people who were interviewed about the role of parents who work as teachers in supporting their learning success at Perumnas Belimbing. Data analysis is a model of Miles and Huberman, data presentation and conclusion. Field findings indicate that parents who work as teachers have role in the success of their learning, although there are some parents who do not have time to meet with their children and supervise their children in after-school study due to fatigue because the parents taught him distant place, the role of parents worked as a teacher can be seen from its role in instilling a love of science to their children, guiding and directing supervise children in their homework, pick a good teacher and a good school, making the reading room in their house. And parents who are teachers still spend time to control their children.
Kebutuhan ekonomi sering memaksa para petani miskin mengabaikan pendidikan anak mereka karena tenaga anak sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Anak yang masih berumur 6-12 tahun telah disosialisasikan dengan suatu pekerjaan sehingga anak mereka banyak hidup mandiri tanpa bantuan orang lain dalam mengerjakan perkerjaan. Maka dari itu peneliti melihat latar belakang keluarga petani miskin dan proses sosialisasi terhadap kemandirian kerja anak petani miskin di Nagari Talu Kecamatan Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori fungsionalisme struktural.Penelitian ini dikategorikan ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Data yang ingin dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melaluiÂ metode pengumpulan data berupa hasil wawancara. Unit analisis yaitu kelompok dengan analisis tahap reduksi, penyajian data/analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Latar belakang keluarga-keluarga petani miskin di Nagari Talu menjalani pekerjaan sebagai buruh tani atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan parari.Â Pekerjaan sebagai buruh tani mereka lakukan dengan alasan pekerjaan tersebut dapat memberi penghasilan. 2) Proses sosialisasi terhadap kemandirian kerja anak petani miskin di Nagari Talu adalah; Orang tua petani miskin mengajarkan dan mendidikÂ anak-anak mereka bekerja dari kecil supaya setelah dewasa terbiasa hidup mandiri. Dengan jalan mengikutsertakan anak-anak mereka bekerja saat mereka melakukan pekerjaanÂ sesuai dengan kemampua anak-anak mereka tanpa ada paksaan.
Â Factors that affect learning can provide positive support in learning, but can also inhibit the learning process. Barriers that occur impact on learning outcomes of individuals who experience the learning process is not as expected. Difficulties are often experienced would be a very significant barrier to further the learning process, as it can lead to low student achievement. Objectives to be achieved in this study are : to determine the sociological factors on student learning difficulties sociology subjects in class X SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The theory used in this study is the theory of behaviorisme. In behavioristik flow, learning is essentially the formation of associations between sensory impression captured by a tendency to act or the relationship between stimulus and response. This study used a qualitative research approach. This type of research used in this study is descriptive to express concerns about the sociological factors on student learning difficulties sociology subjects. In this study, the determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling technique, in this study, are the students and teachers of class X subjects of sociology, Principal, High School Principal at Vice PGRI 1 Padang. The data of this study is primary data obtained through interviews. The unit of analysis is the group with the analysis of the data comprising the steps of reduction, data presentation / analysis of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are : ( 1 ) Internal factors cause difficulty in studying sociology student from one of the students is, students do not utilize well as learning resources, Â read the handbooks are recommended teachers, students therefore difficult to understand the subject matter of sociology. It also comes from a lack of student motivation, due to laziness students in doing the task and answer the questions provided by the teacher about the lesson that has been taught, so that the desired learning outcomes are not achieved properly. ( 2 ) external factors difficulties experienced by students in learning sociology teacher education factor interaction with students is, due to the way the lead teacher in the learning process does not use a variation, which causes saturation partially students to follow the learning process, so that students tend to get bored with the lessons taught teacher.
On the subject of sociology , it still looks low student interest towards learning sociology . From the observation at that time seen the low student interest in learning sociology , it can be seen from the number of students who are noisier when the teacher explains the lesson , if given the opportunity to ask only 1 and 2 students who would ask . This study aims to describe students interest in learning activities sociology . The theory used in this study is the Gestalt theory .This study used a qualitative research case study . In this study , the determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling technique , while the informants in this study is , Principals , School Waka , Sociology Teachers , and Students of class XI IPS 4 on SMA N 1 Pasaman . The data collected in this study is primary data obtained through interviews . The data analysis technique used consists of a reduction phases , data presentation / analysis of data , and drawing conclusions .The results of this study are : 1 ) Interest in learning students views of learning activities most students do not pay attention to pay attention to what is described by the teacher and this is because teachers do not use the materials in the delivery methods vary , more teachers use the lecture method so that students feel bored. 2 ) Interest in learning students views of the activities of hearing , many students are not menedengarkan teachers explanation and this is because teachers in the delivery of learning materials using only a lecture course that many students are doing other activities. 3 ) Interest in student views of reading activities , reading activities students are still considered very low , this is because students are lazy to read the learning materials. 4 ) Interest in student views of activity recorded , in the event Siwa is still much that is not noted this was due to the use of learning methods for students boring teachers , more teachers and students using lecture methods rely on guide books recommended by teachers for learning resources. 5 ) Interest of activity asks students seen , in this activity students are still many who do not want to ask, it is because the teacher only uses the lecture method so that students do not understand what is conveyed by the teacher about the learning material. 6 ) Interest in student views of activities to answer the question , in the event the student is still considered very low , this is because the students do not understand and master the learning material presented by the teacher because the teacher only lectures in front sehinnga many students who do not pay attention. 7 ) Interest in student views of activities making the task , in this activity students being categorized, it is because a lot of students who have made the task of seeing her alone .
