Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan usaha untuk meningkatkan nilai guna dari minyak daun cengkeh dengan memanfaatkan kandungan utamanya yaitu eugenol. Eugenol dapat diubah menjadi metileugenol lalu dikonversi menjadi 3-(3,4-dimetoksi fenil)-1-propanol melalui reaksi hidroborasi dengan menggunakan reagen H3B:dietileter. Kemudian, dioksidasi menggunakan hidrogen peroksida yang diikuti dengan hidrolisis dalam suasana basa untuk memperoleh alkohol. Produk sintesis dianalisis menggunakan spektrometer FTIR dan GC-MS. Data spektra FTIR memperlihatkan serapan kuat oleh gugus hidroksil pada bilangan gelombang 3448,5 cm-1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa senyawa 3-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-1-propanol telah terbentuk. Hasil ini diperkuat oleh pola fragmentasi senyawa pada data MS yang menunjukkan adanya puncak dasar dengan m/z = 151 dan ion molekul dengan m/z = 196 yang merupakan berat molekul dari senyawa 3-(3,4-dimetoksi fenil)-1-propanol. Produk sintesis yang diperoleh memiliki rendemen mencapai 81,29%. Selanjutnya, senyawa ini digunakan sebagai senyawa antara dalam sintesis turunan antibiotik C-9154

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu masalah mendasar yang dihadapi oleh umat Islam di Indonesia. Fenomena tersebut secara tidak langsung dapat membahayakan kekokohan akidah dan keimanan seseorang. Zakat, infaq dan sadaqah sebagai instrumen dalam pengentasan kemiskinan, tidak hanya menjadi persoalan pribadi, melainkan menjadi persoalan bersama. BAZ dan LAZ yang diatur dalam UU 38 Tahun 1999 tentang Pengelolaan Zakat, harus diakui bahwa upaya untuk melegalkan syari?ah zakat dalam bentuk undang-undang di negeri ini merupakan suatu kemajuan. Maka adalah suatu tanggung jawab  moral dan sosial  bagi setiap muslim  dan pemerintah untuk merealisasikannya. Sebab dengan regulasi, tata kelola, sosialisasi serta  pengelolaan dan pendayagunaan yang amanah, professional dan didukung dengan legalitas hukum yang kuat, pada akhirnya kesejahteraan masyarakat akan terwujudProverty phenomena is familiar with muslim life in Indonesia. This phenomena  is not directly implicated to  decline on the quality of akidah and faith. Zakat, infaq , and shadaqah are the instruments of abolishing proverty, which are not only seen as personal problem, but also communal problem. There fore, it must be seen as state responsibility. Badan Amil Zakat (BAZ) and Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) are Islamic social  institution that regulated with the law of zakat number 38 of 1999, have to be professional, trusteeship, and having a high integrity to increase the society welfare. These are the importance  mission of this regulation is not enough strongly to regulate and to optimalize the management of zakat in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract Isolation, identification and testing of antimicrobial activity of secondary metabolites of endophytic fungal culture TCBP4 isolated from bratawali (Tinospora crispa) has been performed. The fungus TCBP4 was cultivated in Potato Dextrose Broth (PDB) for 1 month, media and fungi extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was separated and purified by several chromatographic techniques, from which 9 fractions were obtained. Fraction 3e was purified again and was obtained 6 fractions (3e1-3e6). Fractions 3e3-3e6 were tested against bacteria isolates Staphylococcus aureus Bacillus subtilis,Eschericia coli and yeast isolate Candida albicans by microdillution method. Antimicrobial activity test result showed that fractions 3e3-3e5 had better antibacterial activity compared to chloramphenicol as commercial antibiotic. It was indicated by MIC value of the fractions was lower (8 ug/ml) compared with the antibiotic chloramphenicol (16 ug/ml). Fraction 3e3 had better antifungal activity compared to commercial antifungal nystatin and cabisidin against C. albicans. GC-MS analysis showed that the chemical constituent of 3e5 fraction was identified as 3-acetyl -2,5,7-trihydroxy-1,4-naphtalenedione . Key words : Tinospora crispa, endophytic fungi, isolation, identification, antimicrobial Abstrak Isolasi, identifikasi dan uji aktivitas antimikrobia terhadap metabolit sekunder dari kultur jamur endofit TCBP4 yang diisolasi dari tumbuhan bratawali (Tinospora crispa). Jamur endofit TCBP4 dikultivasi pada media Potato Dextrose Broth (PDB) selama 1 bulan, selanjutnya media dan jamur diekstrak dengan pelarut etil asetat. Ekstrak dipisahkan dan dimurnikan dengan beberapa teknik kromatografi sehingga diperoleh 9 fraksi. Fraksi 3e dimurnikan kembali dan diperoleh 6 fraksi (3e1-3e6). Fraksi 3e3-3e6 diuji aktivitas antibakterinya terhadap beberapa isolate bakteri Staphylo-coccus aureus Bacillus subtilis, Eschericia coli dan isolate khamir Candida albicans dengan metode mikrodilusi. Hasil uji antimikrobia menunjukkan bahwa fraksi 3e3-3e5 mempunyai aktivitas antibakteri lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan chloramfenikol, dimana nilai MIC dari fraksi (8 ug/ml) lebih rendah dari antibiotika chloramfenikol (16 ug/ml). Fraksi 3e3 mempunyai aktivitas antijamur lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan antijamur komersial nistatin dan kabisidin terhadap  C. albicans. Analisis GC-MS menunjukkan bahwa komponen kimia dari fraksi 3e5 diidentifikasi sebagai 3-acetyl -2,5,7-trihydroxy-1,4-naphtalenedione . Abstract

Abstrak Daun cabe jawa (Piper retrofractum Vahl.) telah terbukti berkhasiat sebagai bahan antimikroba, akan tetapi belum ada informasi lebih lanjut tentang mekanisme aksi antibakteri dari minyak atsiri daun cabe jawa. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh minyak atsiri daun cabe jawa terhadap bakteri uji sensitif serta difokuskan untuk melihat kerusakan membran sel bakteri melalui analisis protein, asam nukleat dan ion-ion logam kalsium dan kalium. Distilasi uap minyak atsiri dari daun segar cabe jawa (Piper retrofractum Vahl.) menghasilkan 0.03% cairan kental kekuningan. Analisis dengan GC-MS mengidentifikasi 4 senyawa sebagai komponen utama, yaitu germakren D (24.20%), tetrametilsiklo[5.3.1.0(4.11)]-undek-8-ena (17.73%), ar-turmeron (11.55%) dan benzil benzoat (6.28%). Minyak atsiri cabe jawa terbukti aktif melawan beberapa bakteri patogen antara lain Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus dengan diameter daya hambat berturut-turut 8.0; 9.7; 8.5 mm. Pengamatan lebih lanjut memperlihatkan nilai MIC dari minyak atsiri cabe jawa  terhadap B. subtilis adalah 2% (v/v), dan juga merubah morfologi sel dari bakteri yang diobservasi menggunakan SEM. Kata kunci: Piper retrofractum Vah., cabe jawa, minyak atsiri, aktivitas antibakteri Abstract The leaves of Javaneese pepper (Piper retrofractum Vahl.) has been proven efficacious as antimicrobial agent, however, there was no further information about action mechanism of antibacterial of Javaneese pepper leaves essential oil. This study was to determine the effect of essential oils of javaneese pepper leaves against bacterial sensitive test and is focused on investigating the damage of cell membranes of bacteria through the analysis of proteins, nucleic acids and metal ions, calcium and potassium. Steam distillation of essential oil from fresh leaves of Javaneese pepper (Piper retrofractum Vahl.) gave 0.03 % yellowish viscous liquid. Germacrene D (24.20 %), tetramethylcyclo[5.3.1.0(4.11)]-undec-8-ene (17.73 %), Ar-turmeron (11.55 %) and benzyl benzoate (6.28 %) were identified as major constituents analyzed by GC-MS. Javaneese pepper essential oil was active against pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus with diameter of clear zone of 8.0, 9.7 and 8.5 mm respectively. Further investigation showed MIC value of the oil against B. subtilis was 2 % (v/v), and was also alter the cell morphology of tested bacterium observed by SEM. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and test teacher support skills in learning,completeness of learning facilities and learning discipline towards student learningmotivation. The population in this study were eighth grade students totaling 242students. The sample in this study were 151 students. Sampling using proportionalrandom sampling technique. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Dataanalysis techniques with linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicatethat there is support for teachers ‘skills in teaching students’ learning motivation inMTs. Negeri Bekonang as evidenced by the value of the β coefficient of 0.328 witha significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The existence of learning facilities support forstudents’ learning motivation in MTs. Negeri Bekonang as evidenced by the value ofthe β coefficient of 0.269 with a significant value of 0.001 <0.05. The existence ofdisciplinary support for students’ learning motivation in MTs. Negeri Bekonang asevidenced by the value of the β coefficient of 0.265 with a significant value of 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

Studies on the therapeutic use of insects and insect products have been neglected compared to the use of other animals or plants.This study aims to determine the antibacterial and antioxidant potential of ants extracts. Preliminary study related to antibacterial and antioxidant screeningof 17 extracts of ant colonies that belongs to 8 species were performed by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC)-Bioautography. Antioxidant activity was measured by DPPH free radical scavenging method. The antibacterial activity was done against three pathogenic bacteria, i.e Bacillus subtilis InaCC B-1, Staphylococcus aureus InaCC B-4 and Escherichia coli InaCC B-5 were performed by non-eluted TLC-autobiography assay. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and IC50 values of DPPH radical scavenging activity of active extracts were determined by microdilution in 96-well microplate. The results showed 6 extracts active against B.subtilis, 5 extracts active against S.aureus. The lowest MIC value was 512 µg/ ml.  Ten extracts had the antioxidant activity with various IC50 values. The extracts of ants might be used as bioactive resources for antibacterial and antioxidant.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study has three purposes.1 ) To describe thecharacteristics of learners PSG. 2) To describe the characteristics of PSGteachers. 3 ) To describe the learning characteristics of PSG. This research wasconducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Karanganyar with in-depth interviews, directobservation and the use of documents for data collection. The data source of this research istaken from the principal, vice principal, chairman of the skills program, working group PSG,PSG executive teacher, head of partner institutions, and recording learning activities atschool and in industry. The Result of this shows that : 1) The learners had an average value5.29 of National Exam, not color blind and having minimum height 142 cm,57, 9%responsiveand99.7%had agoodpersonality. Economic background of their parents is middleand lower class. Learners have different characteristics which must be understood by theteacher. 2) Teacher background S1, has teaching experience at least 1 year, activelyimprove their competence through training and industry internship andhave agoodperformance. 3) Learning PSG using pattern learning by placing the school as a replica ofthe industry.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to describe about: 1) Source and conflict types; 2) Conflict handling;and 3) Control conflict. Research type is qualitative. Research approach used is phenomenology. Researchsubject are headmaster and teachers. Data collecting methods are: in-depth interview, observation anddocumentation. Data analysis technique applies triangulation. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui struktur senyawa fenolik yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan dari ekstrak etil asetat biji honje (E. elatior). Isolasi senyawa fenolik dilakukan dengan metode maserasi, fraksinasi dengan kromatografi kolom gravitasi (KKG), dan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT). Uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) dan penentuan struktur senyawa menggunakan spektroskopi UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR, dan MS. Isolat yang diperoleh berupa gum kuning sebanyak 18 mg dari 3 kg sampel kering. Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan menunjukkan isolat dari ekstrak etil asetat memiliki aktivitas yang sangat kuat dengan IC50 1,32 µg/mL. Hasil analisis dengan spektroskopi UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR, dan MS menunjukkan isolat sesuai dengan rumus molekul C7H6O4 yang dikenal dengan asam protokatekuat (asam 3,4-dihidroksi benzoat).DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/jkv.v4i1.7225
