Abstract

Gula pasir  sudah umum digunakan sebagai sumber nutrisi  pada media pembuatan nata de coco.  Sedangkan gula aren belum digunakan sebagai sumber nutrisi  pada media pembuatan nata de coco.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan konsentrasi optimal gula aren dalam pembuatan nata de coco. Perlakuan  yang digunakan adalah variasi konsentrasi gula, yaitu gula pasir 2%, gula aren 2%, dan perbandingan antara gula pasir 1% : gula aren %. Pengukuran nata de coco meliputi ketebalan dan rendemen nata. Formulasi terbaik pembuatan nata de coco adalah pada perlakuan dengan konsentrasi perbandingan gula pasir 1% : gula aren 1%, menghasilkan nata dengan rendeman 76% dan tebal 0,83 cm. Sedangkan pembuatan nata menggunakan gula pasir konsentrasi 2% memiliki rendemen sebesar 45% dengn tebal 0,46 cm.  Pembuatan nata menggunakan gula aren berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rendemen nata, sehingga  gula aren dapat menggantikan gula pasir dalam pembuatan nata de coco.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical reasoning abilities of MTs students in Cimahi City on material relations and functions. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 25 grade VIII students in one of the MTs in Cimahi City. Data retrieval is obtained by giving a test of mathematical reasoning abilities as many as 5 essay-shaped items. Based on the results of the data analysis, the total percentage of item number 1 of 9% was classified as very low, the question number 2 of 31% was very low, the question number 3 of 14% was very low, the question number 4 was 1% and very number 5 of 59% is classified as moderate, it can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning abilities of class VIII students in one of the MTs in Cimahi in the material relations and functions are still very low. Then the students' mistakes in completing the problem are 1) lack of understanding of the concepts students have, 2) wrong or not careful in carrying out the calculation process and 3) less careful in reading the questions so the answer is less complete.

Abstract

 The causes of low student achievement in class-II X SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin is because so far in implementing the teaching and learning, the teacher uses only lecture and question and answer method. In addition, also, very rarely use the model of cooperative learning. The purpose of this study were: (1) Want to know the implementation of in the STAD model of learning competency standards of equality of citizens in the class X II SMA PGRl 4 Banjarmasin. (2) Want to find out the learning activities of students in the the learning competency standards of equality of citizens through the implementation of STAD in the classroom model of X-II SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. (3) Want to know the students´ competence in the the learning standards of equality of citizens through the implementation of STAD in the classroom model of X-II SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. To achieve these objectives the research carried out class action in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two or more meetings. Data collection was done by using the test and non test. Tests done by giving a series of questions to students and non-test carried out by means of observation techniques, interviews, documentation and literature.The results of this study demonstrate the application of learning models STAD has been as planned and the management of learning by both teachers included in the qualification. Activities of students and teachers in learning Civic Education using STAD learning model in accordance with aspects of cooperative learning and qualify well. Civic Education students´ learning outcomes in the classical style after using STAD learning model increases and is at a good qualification.Teachers are expected to make a model of learning Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) as an alternative in an effort to increase the activity and student learning outcomes, since the implementation of STAD a good model of the learning will be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Motivation to learn was very concerned with the motivation or encouragement from parents, children will study hard because of the encouragement by the parent so that objectives can be achieved. The role of parents is expected, so that children can increase achievement in public life. The importance of motivation for children to learn at home so that children can master their environment and can increase the child´s ability to think and vice versa if the issues are not examined the children´s ability to understand, integrate and add to less.This study aims to improve the child´s motivation to learn, and what sources of motivation given by parents to children in learning. The study was designed and conducted using qualitative methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews and literature. The analysis results are used in the reduction step is the analysis of the data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. These results indicate that the role of parents in children´s learning motivation in the Mangkupum village still less so that the role of parents is necessary. Although the children were motivated to learn, sometimes children themselves lazy motivated to learn and are very difficult to understand the lessons learned in school that the child needs to repeat the lesson at home. Parents in motivating their children to learn to use a variety of ways, some provide motivation by giving promises of gifts, some are not willing to accustom their children to learn to get the prize. But in essence, the parents expect their children to learn not for want of gifts or benefits alone, but children learn in order to achieve goals and be successful. Based on these results, it can be suggested that the child´s parents to be diligent in learning, parents should always motivate their children by guiding ideals to be achieved her child, thus the child is expected to be motivated to learn.

Abstract

In the implementation of character education in SMK Bina Banjarmasin Stadium still have students who are not disciplined it can be seen from the behavior of learners, among others, poor quality of character discipline as there are violations of the code of conduct of the school. For the implementation of the formation of character discipline in schools is indispensable in order to shape the attitudes and behavior of kedisiplin in students as the next generation of the nation. Teachers PKn forming character discipline in schools by providing direction regarding the code of conduct in the school is named in it there is a code of conduct about discipline so that students understand the meaning of discipline itself so that it becomes the students obey the rules and code of conduct in that character. This research aims to know the implementation of teachers PKn in the formation of character, discipline, the role of teachers PKn in the formation of character and discipline factors cause students who do not obey the rules of discipline in SMK Bina Stadium Banjarmasin. The methods used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out with interview techniques, observation and documentation. Analysis of the results of research that is used is the analysis of the data reduction steps, data display and verification. Research results show that implementation of the formation of character discipline cannot be separated from the role of teachers PKn, because in the mengimplemetasi formation of the character of the discipline at the school teacher who was instrumental in giving examples of exemplary discipline and be a role model for students in order to have discipline in her character. Factors cause students not discipline is a family environment for the education of the parents and may also of his intercourse environment that may affect child discipline or undisciplined, environment his intercourse because friends can sepergaulan affect in order not to discipline, can also from himself. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that teachers can further improve the character of the discipline in schools and the students realize that the importance of the establishment of the discipline and the character is constantly working to shape the character of the discipline that not only in schools but also within the family and in the community environment.

Abstract

Previous research has shown that black cumin seed oil is as an immunomodulator, but the mechanism MBJH as an immunomodulator in DMBA-induced macrophage unknown. A study to determine the effects of EHBJH on the activities of SD rat peritoneal macrophage phagocytosis induced DMBA has been conducted. This study was conducted on 10 female Sprague Dawley rats were divided into two groups, namely 5 mice without any treatment group and 5 mice DMBA DMBA treatment groups. Once a week administration of 15 mg DMBA of mice,rats dissected and taken peritonealnya fluid for isolation of macrophages to be cultured for 24 hours. The peritoneal macrophages were given hexane BJH (Nigella sativa Lour) as much as 1 mg/mL, 5 mg/mL, 25 mg/mL, and were given a standard timokuinon for each group without induction DMBA and DMBA treatment groups. Macrophages were incubated for 2 hours back. Phagocytosis test is done by adding the latex particles on cultured macrophages and Giemsa staining. Data percentage of macrophages that eat latex and phagocytosis index were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test followed by ANOVA and LSD test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the activity and phagocytosis index DMBA -induced macrophages that is not greater than the index of activity and macrophage phagocytosis induced macrophages (p<0.05). A group of 25 mg/mL EHBJH have activity and phagocytosis index is highest when compared with the other treatment group (p<0.05).  Conclusion: The study showed that the hexane BJH (Nigella sativa Lour) can improve macrophage phagocytic activity of female rats Sprague Dawley strain.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAnticipating climate change and its impacts on crop production, it requires the development of adaptive rice varieties that respond to drought stress and minimize the damage while keeps growing and maintaining yield. The aim of this study was to evaluate the transferability of rice simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers to Poaceae family and analyze the genetic diversity among 16 accessions of Poaceae family (12 genera and 14 species) using 41 rice SSR markers. The result revealed that the transferability of rice SSR markers was varied. High amplification produced in rice group (>70%) and low amplification in grass group (<30%) with an average of 35.2%. A total of 128 cross-species alleles were identified with an average of 3 alleles/locus. The value of gene diversity ranged from 0.15 to 0.83 with an average of 0.53 and the value of Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) ranged from 0.14 to 0.80 with an average of 0.46. The results of phylogenetic analysis determined two clusters at similarity coefficient of 0.72. The first cluster consisted of 14 accessions from Poaceae family (12 genera and 14 species) while the second cluster consisted of two cultivated rice varieties (Inpari 30 and Situ Bagendit). The genetic relatedness data revealed from this study could be used as basic information for parental selection. The 14 accessions of Poaceae family have a potential for drought tolerant donor and separated clearly from cultivated rice varieties (Inpari 30 and Situ Bagendit) for recipient parents in spike-stalk injection method (SIM) to develop drought tolerant rice varieties.  Keywords: Cross amplification, Drought tolerant, Inpari 30, Situ Bagendit

Abstract

Barotrauma is a problem caused by differences between air pressures inside the body and in the environment. This condition causes damage to many organs and body tissues. Many factors influence the occurrence of barotrauma. However, the two factors that are not obviously influencing the incidence of barotrauma are the diving frequency and the diving resting time. This study aimed to identify the effect of diving frequency and resting time on barotrauma. This study used an observational analytic design through a case-control approach of 174 respondents. The results show p-value=0.000 and OR=5.48 that indicate an effect of diving frequency on barotrauma. The diving resting time does not influence barotrauma with p-value=0.621. The diving frequency is a factor that affects the incidence of barotrauma.

Abstract

AbstractThis research have a purpose to review the suitability of authentic assessment implement by physic teachers with authentic assessment based on demand of curriculum 2013 suitable with the Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013 that is attitude, knowledge, and skill assessment use the relevant instrument. The research?s method that used in this research is descriptive method. Sample in this research is SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak and SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak, choose with use the purposive sampling method. The instrument of data collector is student and teacher questionnaire, interview list for headmaster and teacher and also documentation that be related to authentic assessment. In the amount of 69,2 % of indicator in the plan of authentic assessment and 72,2 % of indicator in implementation of authentic assessment that implemented by physis teachers grade X Senior High School at Pontianak it has been happen well and suitable with demand of curriculum 2013 there are in Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013. This research expected can used as reference in the implementing of authentic assessment in order to suitable with demand of curriculum 2013 based on Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013.  Keywords: Authentic Assessment, Curriculum 2013 and Physic Learning

Abstract

Jembrana disease is an acute viral disease  in Bali cattle that have short incubation period, high mortality and morbidity rate. Early diagnostic methods are needed  to prevent the further spreading of this disease. In this study, we combined One-step RT-PCR  and  NALF  methods to detect env-tm gene of Jembrana virus Tabanan 1987 strain. Viral RNA isolated from a spleen of the infected cattle was used as the template. One-step RT-PCR procedure was performed using oligoprobes  labeled digoxigenin and  right primer sequence that were designed using the primer3plus program based  on the conserves region of env-tm gene from NCBI database. The product of one-step RT-PCR was tested using NALF  method  instead of  electrophoresis. Positive result was shown by the appearance of dark lines on the test line of digoxigenin in NALF dipstick device.
