Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the teaching competencies of English Education students practising at elementary schools and kindergartens based on the teacher supervisors’ view. The teaching competencies include the students’ competence on writing the lesson plan and their competence on practice teaching. To reach the objectives of the study, the researcher collected the data by distributing a questionnaire to the supervisors at schools. There were 41 schools consisting of TK ABA, SD Muhammadiyah, SD Negeri located in Yogyakarta (24), Sleman (1) and Bantul (16). The questionnaire used was based on the official assessment form published by Indonesian government for teacher’s certification. It contains some indicators of teaching competence, it uses Likert scales ranging from 1 to 5. The criteria are as follows: 1 = very poor, 2 = poor, 3 = rather poor, 4 = good, and 5 = excellent. The data were taken from proportionally random sampling of the supervisors. From the total number of 103 teacher supervisors, the researcher distributed 61 questionnaires. The supervisors represented the ones from different educational backgrounds. The findings show the following results. The competence of English Education students in composing the lesson plan, according to the teacher supervisors, is classified good (actual mean = 3.858, SD = 0.685, ideal mean = 3, ideal SD = 0.750). Further, their competence on practice teaching is also good (actual mean = 3.867, SD = 0.688, ideal mean = 3, ideal SD = 0.966). The two aspects of composing the lesson plan to improve are teaching material organization and the completeness of assessment instrument. The other two aspects to improve in teaching practice are contextual teaching and learning and class management.

Abstract

AbstractIn article 7, paragraph (1) of the code of criminal procedure stated that the letter j investigators as stipulated in article 6 paragraph (1) letter a because of its obligations has the authority "to conduct another action according to the law is responsible”. Listen to the duties and authorities of the police apparatus as set forth above, then the one question that arises here is inserting a perpetrator into the People Search listings is another action of investigators in solving the crime. For that I need to know how to set The search list as another action investigator responsible according to the law and how the terms to define other actions investigators in conducting The search list. In the Act No. 2 of 2002 on the State police of the Republic of Indonesia, the police authority to conduct the search list of The assignment is not set explicitly, but when looking at the provisions of article 16 paragraph (1) letter I Act No. 2 of 2002 jo article 7 paragraph (1) of the code of criminal procedure, there is a letter of authority to perform another action according to the law is responsible. Abstract

Abstract : This research was aimed to increase students’ achevement of matematics in V grade year of 2014/2015. The subject of this research is students V grade of State Elementary School 014 Bangko Makmur which is total of 25 students, consited of 12 girls and 13 boys. This was a classroom research which has two cycles which was conducted on April 02nd to May 23th 2015. The data shown that either students’ achievement increased. This was found from students’ and teacher’s scores in students’ achievement increased. First cycle at the first meeting teacher’s activity was 66.67% categorized as enough and increased 8.33% at the second meeting 75% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher’s activity increased as 83.33% categorized as very good and the second meeting it increased as 8.34% so the percentage became 91.67%. At the first cycle in the first meeting, the percentage of students’ activities was 58.33% categorized as enough and the second meeting it increased as 8.34% so became 66.67% categorized as good. At the second cycle in the first meeting it increased to 83.33% categorized as good. At the second meeting the percentage of students’ activities increased as 4.17% became 87.5% categorized as good. However, students’ achievement also increased. The basic score of daily examination as 11.6% which 19 students passed and 8 students failed. Based on the explanation above it can be concluded that the implementation learning through Cooperative Learning Student Teams Achievement Division increased students’ achievement the result of Mathematic studies at five grade of State Elemantary School 014 Bangko Makmur.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Thype Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), Students’ Achevement the Result of Mathematic Studies

Abstract

This article is a result of a research about how to pack islamic teachings in a multimedia product which can enjoy by sense of hearing and sense of eyesight at once, that’s film. The result is a religious documentary film by the title Bukan Seperti Miskin Tidak Seperti Kaya, which is framing hadis Rasulullah SAW about the truth of richness, that is “richness doesn’t lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods, but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self).” This concept visualized by the living condition and story of a man named Makmur who lived in the bamboo huts. Islamic values such as unpretentious, patience, sincere, thankfulnes, and qana’ah, take a colour of content of pervormative documentary film, which depicts reality of life with more subjective, expressive, stylish, and indepth display.***Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang bagaimana mengemas ajaran Islam dalam suatu produk multimedia yang bisa dinikmati indra pendengar dan penglihat sekaligus, yaitu film. Adapun hasilnya adalah sebuah film dokumenter religi berjudul Bukan Seperti Miskin Tidak Seperti Kaya yang membingkai sabda Rasulullah SAW mengenai hakikat kaya yakni “bukanlah kekayaan dengan banyaknya harta benda, akan tetapi kekayaan yang hakiki adalah kaya jiwa (hati).” Konsep tersebut divisualisasikan melalui pengalaman dan kisah hidup seorang lelaki bernama Makmur yang tinggal di gubuk bambu. Nilai-nilai ajaran Islam lain seperti kesederhanaan, sabar, ikhlas, syukur, dan qana’ah, turut mewarnai isi film dokumenter bertipe performatif ini, yang mana menampilkan kehidupan nyata dengan gambaran lebih subjektif, ekspresif, stylish, dan mendalam.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh studentfacilitator and explaining dengan media roda impian berisi question card terhadaphasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster randomsampling dan diperoleh kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI MIA 2sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaituobservasi, dokumentasi, posttest dan angket. Uji hipotesis yang dilakukan yaitu ujiperbedaan dua rata-rata, analisis pengaruh antar variabel dan koefisiendeterminasi. Hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata nilai posttest t hitung 4,194 lebih besardari t tabel 1,995 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan derajat kebebasan 74. Hal inimenunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelaskontrol. Analisis pengaruh antar variabel menghasilkan nilai korelasi biserialsebesar 0,55. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan student facilitatorand explaining dengan media roda impian berisi question card berpengaruhsebesar 30,25% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis lembar observasimenunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif dan psikomotorik kelaseksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis angketdiperoleh tanggapan positif siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkanhasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa model student facilitator and explaining denganmedia roda impian berisi question card berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajarsiswa materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan.

Abstract

Subang Regency is the third rice production center in West Java. Be as a rice production center did not make the resident of Subang Regency to food security. According to production and industry data West Java Province in (2017), Subang Regency received rastra that reached 112.891 KPM. Rastra is one of the instruments to reduce the problem of poverty and food insecurity. This research purposes are to analyze the household characteristic and proportion of household expenditure of rice farmers. This research was conducted in Patimban Village, Pusakanagara Subdistrict, Subang Regency, West Java. The data collecting technique was conducted by the questionnaire with 51 household of rice farmers responden who received rastra using by Simple Random Sampling.  The method of this research used by survey with statistic descriptive analyze to know characteristic and proportion of household expenditure of rice farmer by BPS (2017) consisting of 14 indicators of food and 6 indicators of non-food.  The result show characteristic of the household rice farmers: the average productive age (92%), the education level is elementary school (53%), the status of land as tillers (51%), the average of the land area is 0.75ha, total of dependant family 3-4 peoples (70%), income per month is IDR 3.578.275,00. The proportion of average expenditure per month of household of rice farmer is Rp 2.794.891,00 that consist of Rp 1.667.324,00 for food expenditure and Rp 1.127.567,00 for non-food expenditure.Keywords: Rice, food security, household of farmer, proportion, expenditure

Abstract

Keywords: Descriptive Study, Learning Process, Teacher Professionalism Professional teachers are the determinants of education process quality. In order to become professional teachers, they must be able to find to identity and actualize themselves in accordance with the abilities and rules of professional teachers. This research will find the answer of the formula: first, describe what factors can support the professionalism of teachers at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung of Jombang; second, describe how the professionalism of teachers in the learning process at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung of Jombang, third, describe how the principals efforts in improving teachers professionalism in the learning process at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung Jombang.This type of research was qualitative, and the method of data collection was by using observation, documentation and interview, while the analysis data were inductive, deductive and comparative.The results of this study could be concluded: firstly, the ability of teachers professionalism at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung, Jombang was the ability in mastering materials / learning materials, managing teaching and learning programs, managing classes, using media, mastering the foundation of education, managing the interaction of teaching and learning, , recognizing the function of guidance and counseling, know and organize the school administration very well; secondly, the ability of teachers in preparing for teaching is also in very good category. It was indicated that the teacher had prepared the teaching preparation with the correct procedure, each sub chapter of discussion, the teacher had been able to use the instructional media in accordance with its function in delivering the material, and conduct evaluation in every learning process well; thirdly, the effort to improve the teachers professionalism in madrasah is done by the principal and teacher concern. Efforts that had been made by the principal, among others, by holding meetings, upgrading class teachers, and establishing the discipline enforcement on teachers and employees, holding regular meetings among teachers in the field of study and conduct self-assessment.

Abstract

Kabupaten Subang merupakan sentra produksi padi ketiga di Jawa Barat. Sebagai sentra produksi padi ternyata tidak membuat penduduk Kabupaten Subang tahan terhadap pangan. Menurut Data Produksi dan Industri Jawa Barat tahun 2017, penerima rastra di Kabupaten Subang mencapai 112.891 KPM. Rastra merupakan salah satu instrumen untuk mengurangi masalah kemiskinan dan kerawanan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik serta proporsi pengeluaran rumah tangga petani padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Patimban, Kecamatan Pusakanagara, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 51 orang yang ditentukan dengan Simple RandomSampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan analisis statistika deskriptif untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan proporsi pengeluaran rumah tangga petani padi menurut BPS (2017) yang terdiri dari 14 indikator pangan dan 6 indikator non pangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan karakteristik rumah tangga petani padi: rata-rata umur produktif(92%), tingkat pendidikan SD (53%), status kepemilkan lahan sebagai penggarap (51%), rata-rata luas lahan 0,75 ha, jumlah tanggungan keluarga 3-4 orang (70%), pendapatan Rp 3.578.500,00/bulan. Proporsi rata-rata pengeluaran rumah tangga per bulan adalah Rp 2.795.000,00 yang terdiri dari pengeluaran pangan sebesar Rp 1.667.500,00 dan pengeluaran non pangan sebesar Rp 1.128.500.Kata kunci: padi, ketahanan pangan, rumah tangga petani, proporsi, pengeluaran
