Abstract

Synthesis, characterization and application of Diatomaceous Earth-4,4-Diamino diphenylether-O-Hydroxybenzaldehyde (diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb) as an adsorbent of Ag(I) metal ion has been done. The aim of the purification of natural diatomaceous earth with KMnO4, H2SO4 and HCl were to obtain pure diatomaceous earth, remove the other compounds and de-alumination, respectively. The adsorbent of diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb was synthesized by reacting pure diatomaceous earth with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane, 4,4-diaminodiphenylether (DDE) and O-hydroxybenzaldehyde (O-Hb). The FTIR spectroscopy was used to identify Schiff base group in diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb adsorbent. The diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb was applied as adsorbent in the adsorption of Ag(I) metal ion. Parameters influencing the interaction such as time, pH and concentration were optimized. The result showed that diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb adsorbent have Schiff base group. The interaction time of 90 min showed that 70.79% of Ag(I) metal ions at the concentration of 100 ppm can be adsorbed by diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb adsorbent. At the pH solution between 2 to 7, the concentration of 100 ppm of Ag(I) metal ion that can adsorbed by diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb adsorbent was up to 98% and at the concentration of 25 ppm Ag(I) metal ion, the adsorption of Ag(I) by diatomaceous earth-DDE-O-Hb adsorbent was near 91%.

Abstract

Displaced Commercial Risk (DCR) merupakan risiko yang dihadapi oleh bank syariah sebagai konsekuensi diterapkanya dual banking system di Indonesia. Bank syariah dituntut untuk memberikan imbal hasil yang kompetitif untuk mempertahankan deposan. Kondisi kesehatan bank yang meliputi Capital, Asset quality, Management, Earning, dan Liquidity (CAMEL) juga menjadi indikator kekuatan Market Disicipline bagi pertumbuhan deposito bank syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberadaan DCR dan Market Discipline pada bank umum syariah di Indonesia periode Oktober 2014 hingga Desember 2018. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Auto Regresive Distributed Lag (ARDL) menunjukkan keberadaan DCR pada bank umum syariah. Namun demikian hasil lainya menunjukkan lemahnya Market Discipline, dimana deposan hanya melihat kondisi likuiditas dan kualitas aset sebagai indikator dalam menempatan dananya.

Abstract

Ludruk-an adalah seni pertunjukan tradisi yang merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam proses pembelajaran dan regenerasi sebuah kelompok Ludruk pada era sekarang. Unsur pertunjukannya tidak selengkap Ludruk tapi tidak menghilangkan esensi Ludruk. Sebagai calon sutradara Ludruk-an perlu mengetahui secara menyeluruh dari sejarah dan teknik penyutradraan seni tradisi sebagai penunjang menjadi sutradara yang baik.Pemahaman dari pesan yang dibawa oleh naskah lakon harus benar-benar dikuasai oleh setiap anggota tim produksi, tim kreatif dan aktor sebagai pengalih media tulis menjadi audio visual kepada penonton. Teknik penyutradraan Suyatna Anirun menjadi landasan dalam proses kreatif teater tradisi Ludruk-an dengan naskah lakon “Nyi Cindhe Amoh”. Pemahaman tim produksi terhadap bentuk penyajian menjadi pertimbangan melangsungkan pagelaran dari segi lokasi dan konsumen sehingga tujuan penyampaian pesan dari naskah lakon “Nyi Cindhe Amoh” dapat tercapai. Begitu juga tim kreatif yang mnecari bentuk pertunjukan dari sebuah naskah Ludruk berbentuk bedrip (treatment yang menjadi konsep jalannya proses dan kemasan pertunjukan), harus lebih dalam memahami setiap gagsan yang diusulkan sutradara melalui pencarian dandiskusi menjadi sebuah pertunjukan utuh dengan kemasan unsur-unsur tradisi yang kuat sebagai identitas pertunjukan. Sutradara dalam memilih,memilah dan memutuskan membuat tim kreatif tidak ubahnya seperti memilih aktor agar kerja tim yang dipimpinnya bisa menyalurkan pemikiran atau gagasan dan emosi sutradara dalam suatu pertunjukan kepada penonton yang tentunya tidak ada batasan usia. Teknik dasar keaktoran teater tradisional adalah modal utama bagi aktor untuk memahami kemudian memberikan penawaran dan gagasan. Bentuk pemantapan menjadi hasil akhir dalam menjalankan proses dari bedah naskah hingga dilaksanakan pagelaran.Metode casting to emotional temperament sebagai langkah pendekatan dalam menerapkan teknik keaktoran W.S. Rendra dengan kriteria, aktor telah menguasai bentuk tari dasar tradisi Jawa timur-an atau pencak untuk membentuk pengembangan permainan dan sikap gerak badan yakin, menyanyikan beberapa gending laras slendro(lagu tradisi Jawa Timur-an) untuk terwujudnya tempo,irama dan pemberian isi dialog dan permainan, bermain peran untuk penguatan teknik muncul, membina puncak dan penguatan takaran emosi dalam permainan.Teknik penyutradaraan Suyatna Anirun dan keaktoran W.S. Rendra mengorganisir langkah  sutradara dalam proses kreatif penuangan gagasan dari pesan yang dibawa oleh naskah lakon menjadi sebuah pagelaran Ludruk-an.Kata Kunci: Ludrukan, Penyutradaraan, Suyatna Anirun, W.S. Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan kerajinan rono ukir dengan motif khas produksi UD Electra Mebel yang berada di Desa Prambon Kecamatan Tugu, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Rono ukir ini dipelopori oleh salah seorang perajin yang bernama Sodikan. Rumusan masalah adalah mengkaji bagaimana kreasi motif ukir dan nilai estetik yang terkandung pada rono ukir UD Electra Mebel. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif diskriptif. Lokasi penelitian adalah di UD Electra Mebel Desa Prambon Kecamatan Tugu, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian adalah Kerajinan Rono Ukir UD Electra Mebel, narasumber (perajin rono ukir UD Electra Mebel), dokumen (sumber buku yang didapat dari perpustakaan UNESA jurusan Seni Rupa, serta beberapa arsip terdahulu dan desain motif UD Electra Mebel). Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Validasi data berupa triangulasi data dan informan review. Peneliti menggunakan dua tahapan analisis data yaitu analisis domain dan analisis taksonomi. Prosedur penelitian dengan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan menyusun hasil laporan. Masyarakat pada umumnya menyebut rono sebagai sketsel ukir. Rono produksi UD Electra Mebel ini ada tiga jenis yaitu Rono Islam (Mimbar Masjid), Rono Joglo (Gebyok), dan Rono Mahkota (Dekorasi Pernikahan). Motif ukir yang diterapkan adalah motif geometris, motif tumbuhan dan motif tradisional dari daerah Jepara. Khusus untuk Rono Islam ditemukan motif berupa relief dan bentuk kubah 2 dimensi dan 3 dimensi. Nilai estetik yang terkandung dalam produk rono ukir UD Electra Mebel ini telah memenuhi prinsip keindahan dan tersusun rapi baik mengenai bentuk, komposisi, warna dan keseimbangannya. Motif ukir yang diterapkan disusun secara indah dan beranekaragam membentuk satu kesatuan yang utuh dan diwujudkan dalam bentuk ukiran. Bentuk ukiran tersebut mempunyai komposisi, proporsi, keselarasan dan keseimbangan yang saling melengkapi antara bagian satu dengan bagian lainnya sehingga tercipta keharmonisan. Kata Kunci : motif, ukir, nilai estetik.

Abstract

This research on the modification of cellulose using 4,4-diaminodiphenylether and o-hydroxybenzaldehyde and its application to adsorb Cd2+ in aqueous solution has been done. The adsorption studies of cellulose and modified cellulose were done by using batch technique. The cellulose and modified cellulose were characterized by FTIR. The FTIR spectra revealed characteristic bands of 1573 cm-1, 1280 cm-1, 3749 cm-1 and 1056 cm-1. It indicates function group of C=N, C=O, O-H and Si-OR bond, respectively. The FTIR spectra of cellulose and modified cellulose which interacted to Cd2+, it were indicated by the shift in wavenumber 3410 cm-1 to 3371 cm-1. This spectral shift indicating Cd2+ bound to OH-group. In this research, interaction between modified cellulose with Cd2+ confirmed by intensities spectral changes at 1620 cm-1. The adsorption capacity and energy from adsorption of Cd2+ ions toward cellulose were 71,43 mg/g and 4,142 kJ/mol, while toward modified cellulose were 55,56 mg/g and 0,13 kJ/mol, respectively. Keywords: cellulose, 4,4-diaminodiphenylether-o-hydroxybenzaldehyde, adsorption, Cd2+

Abstract

The modification of cellulose with 2-mercaptobenzhotiazole (MBT) through grafting and impregnating methods has been done. Modified cellulose used as adsorbent for Cu(II) ion in aqueous solution. The aims of research were modification cellulose with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane and 2-mercaptobenzhotiazole (MBT), characterization of the modified cellulose with FTIR, SEM and XRD and adsorption study between cellulose-MBT adsorbent with Cu(II) ion in aqueous solution. The adsorbent of cellulose-MBT was synthesized by reflux process. Adsorption study between cellulose-MBT adsorbent with Cu(II) ion was investigated based on influence of pH solution, interaction time and initial concentration of Cu(II) ion. The result showed that activated cellulose can be modified with MBT to become cellulose-MBT adsorbent. The functional group of –C=N appeared at wavenumber 1658 cm-1 attributed to functional group of -C=N- is Schiff base of MBT. Presence functional group of S-H at cellulose-MBT adsorbent was not detected. The surface morphology of cellulose-MBT adsorbent after being interacted with Cu(II) ion was different before being interacted with Cu(II) ion. The diffractogram of cellulose-MBT adsorbent has similarity with cellulose-MBT adsorbent-Cu(II) ion. The optimum adsorption of Cu(II) ion was observed at pH 7.0 and 150 min of interaction time. Percentage of Cu(II) ion was absorbed by cellulose-MBT adsorbent tended to be constant after Cu(II) ion concentration 100 ppm.

Abstract

The synthesis chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin using casting method has been done. The aims of this research were modification chitosan with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin, formaldehyde and its characterization using FTIR spectroscopy, SEM analysis, 1H-NMR and X-Ray Diffraction analysis. The first step was a synthesis of modified chitosan between chitosan and Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin. The second step was chitosan modified Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin then reacted with formaldehyde through casting method. The result showed that chitosan can be modified with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and formaldehyde and this modified chitosan can be linked by methylene bridge (-NH-CH2-NH-) and had azomethine group (-C=N-). The functional group of –C=N in modified chitosan before and after adding formaldehyde appeared at a constant wavenumber of 1597 cm-1. The functional group C-N in methylene bridge detected at 1388 and 1496 cm-1. The chitosan-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and Chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin had index crystalline (%)16.04 and 25.76, respectively. The chemical sift of signal proton azomethine group (-C=N-) in modified chitosan detected at 8.44–8.48 and 9.77 ppm. Proton from methylene bridge in modified chitosan appeared at 4.97–4.99 and 3.75 ppm. Surface morphology chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenylether-vanillin had dense surfaces, mostly uniform and regular in shape.

Abstract

The synthesis chitosan linked by methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin (modified chitosan adsorbent) has been studied. The aims of this research were modification of chitosan with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and formaldehyde and its application as antibacterial agent after used as an adsorbent of Zn(II) ion. Characterization of modified chitosan adsorbent was conducted using FTIR spectroscopy. Process of adsorption were conducted at  0.15 g of modified chitosan adsorbent reacted by concentration of Zn(II) ion solution (pH 6, 150 mg/L, 50 mL), contact time at 150 min. and  at room temperature (280C). Modified chitosan adsorbent after reacted by Zn(II) ion solution as antibacterial agent with paper disk method. The result showed that chitosan can be modified with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and formaldehyde to form chitosan linked methylene bridge and Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin. Antibacterial of chitosan and modified chitosan adsorbent were higher than modified chitosan adsorbent after reacted by Zn(II) ion. Keywords : modified chitosan, antibacterial agent
