Abstract

Pandaratan Beach is a Beach located in Pondok Batu area, Sarudik Subdistrict, Tapanuli Tengah Regency which is an area that has seagrass beds with various roles in aquatic biota such as bivalves, where seagrass beds function as nurseries, as a place to search feeding ground, and areas to seek protection. The purpose of this study was to determine the bivalve diversity of seagrass beds at Padaratan Beach, carried out in March to April 2018 using purposive sampling method by taking and observing seagrass vegetation based on utilization. Data analysis included seagrass vegetation analysis, bivalve analysis, and water quality analysis. Found 2 types of seagrass with density at Station I 33.81%, Station II 20.27%, and Station III 25.38%. In bivalves 15 species were found at the study site. Bivalve Diversity Index at Station I 2.45, at Station II 2.48, and at Station III 2.43. Bivalvia uniformity index at Station I 0.91, at Station II 0.91, and at Station III 0.90. The bivalve dominance index at Station I was 0.07, at Station II 0.07, and at Station III 0.05. The relationship between seagrass density and density with bivalve diversity has a strong relationship, and shows that any increase in seagrass density affects the addition of bivalve species.Kata kunci: Bivalvia, lamun, keanekaragaman, pantai pandaratan.

Abstract

Batang Mahat River is one of the rivers which empties to PLTA Koto Panjang Dam. Batang Mahat estuary around PLTA Koto Panjang Dam is one of the fishing grounds. This study was aimed to obtain information about the water chemical and physical characteristics and biology (plankton) Batang Mahat around PLTA Koto Panjang Dam. This research was conducted in March-May 2019 The observation stations were determined using the purposive sampling method and then divided into three observation stations. Sampling was carried out 3 times with an interval of 2 weeks. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results showed the water quality of Batang Mahat around the PLTA Koto Panjang Dam are as follows: temperature 31-32oC, tranparancy 2.00-2.31 m, pH 6, dissolved oxygen 4.32-6.90 mg/L, CO2 0.39-3.9 mg/L, nitrate 0.0021-0.1375 mg/L, and phosphate 0.0177-0.0774 mg/L. The results of the study found as many as 23 species. Plankton which belongs to 7 classes, namely: Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Dinophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Synurophyceae, Magnoliopsida and Maxillopoda. Plankton abundance ranges from 20,000-64,250 ind/L. The diversity index ranges from 1.88-2.83. The similarity index ranges from 0.48-0.95 and the dominance index ranges from 0.19-0.36. Water quality Batang Mahat based on the environmental index is classified as moderate.

Abstract

This study aimed to understand the local wisdom and the feasibility of the area as an ecological tourism object. The research has been carried out from February to April 2018. Water quality data collection was carried out four times (once/two weeks), while interviews and questionnaires were distributed prior to environmental data collection. Water samples were taken from three stations, while local wisdom and ecotourism data were collected through the interview and questionnaires. The results showed that the shown that the community used to maintains the Jorong Landai ecosystem by applying regulations for fish capture and fish harvesting system. The water quality parameter in the Lubuk Larangan was as follows: the temperature was 21-22 0C, the current speed was 0.04-0.5 m/s,  water depth was 44-82 cm, dissolved oxygen was 4.46-5.78 Mg/L and pH was 6. The value ecotourism of the feasibility index was as follows: attractiveness was 945, accessibility was 587.5, the social-economic condition was 462.5, accommodation was 0, infrastructure was 180 and the availability of clean water was 870 (total value was 3,045). This value indicates that the Lubuk Larangan Jorong Landai can be categorized as appropriate for ecotourism object.

Abstract

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik di Pulau Bali yang semakin meningkat sekitar 6 – 9 % dalam 5 tahun mendatang, pemerintah telah mengupayakan pembangunan PLTU Celukan Bawang. Proyek PLTU Celukan Bawang yang dikerjakan sejak 2013 ini telah beroperasi penuh pada bulan Agustus 2015 sebagai outlet untuk penyaluran transmisi Saluran Udara Tegangan Tinggi (SUTT) 150kV. Terkait masalah isu sosial dengan penolakan warga Desa Celukan bawang terhadap pembangunan yang melintasi rumah mereka dari SUTT, maka pihak PT.PLN (PERSERO) diminta untuk melakukan strategi untuk pengamanan penyaluran agar Sistem Bali aman saat re-route jalur SUTT. Dari hasil simulasi dengan menggunakan Tools PSSE, aliran daya listrik Bali disimulasikan dalam 3 skenario. Skenario 1 melepaskan 1 Sirkit Celukan Bawang – Kapal dan mengoperasikan Pembangkit sesuai dengan merit order, skenario 2 melepaskan 1 sirkit Celukan Bawang – Kapal dan mengoptimalkan Pembangkit di Jalur Selatan, dan skenario 3 dilakukan dengan melepas kedua sirkit Celukan Bawang – Kapal dan mengoperasikan pembangkit di jalur Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari skenario berikut di peroleh skenario 1 memiliki kajian lebih ekonomis, andal dan bermutu dibandingkan skenario lainnya.

Abstract

This research was based on Qatari Emir’s speech, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on July 21, 2017, that still preferred to use polite language, although Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt discontinued their diplomatic relations with Qatar and executed embargo it and on June 5, 2017. This research was aimed to analyze the language politeness in Qatari Emir’s speech and reveal the intention of its use.  The theory used in this research was Brown and Levinson’s politeness theory (1987) which relates the speech politeness with face threatening act (FTA) and classifies them into four kinds namely strategy on record without redressive action-baldly, strategy on record with redressive action-positive politeness, strategy on record with redressive action-negative politeness, and strategy off record.  The method used in this research was qualitative-descriptive.  The data analyzed in this research was Qatari Emir’s speech text on July 21, 2017 which officially sourced from the government of Qatar.  Based on the findings of this research, the writer identified 26 politeness speech with 4 on record without redressive action-baldly strategy, 5 positive politeness strategy, 14 negative politeness strategy, and 3 off-record strategy.  The numerous use of negative politeness compared with other strategies on Qatari Emir’s speech showed that Qatari Emir responded the act of its four neighboring countries by negative attitudes and negative feelings such as rejection, anger and satire yet still maintaining the relationship.  Besides, the number of positive politeness showed that Qatari Emir still considered the friendliness and closeness in its relationship with its four neighboring countries.Keywords:Politeness, Qatari Emir, speech.

Abstract

The research aimed to understand the nesting area characteristic of C. mydas in the Kasiak Island was conducted from March-April 2017, coincidence with the nesting time of green turtle. Observation of the nesting area of green turtle was conducted in the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern parts of the island. Parameters studied were the slope of the beach, the distance between the water edge during the high tide and the nest, sand texture, types of vegetations around the nest, number of nests present and the quality of water around the island.  Results shown that the coast’s slope ranged from 1.74 to 2.890, the distance between the water edge during the high tide and the nest ranged from 1.17 to 1.70 m, the substrate texture was dominated by sand (> 90%), silt (3.4-7.25%) and clay (2-8%).  The nest temperature was 25-320C, nest humidity was 30-40% and the common vegetation was Thespesia populnea.  Quality of the water  around the Kasiak Island are as follows: temperature was 29-300C, salinity was from 33-34 ‰, current speedwas 0.4-0.5 m / s and pH was 8.

Abstract

Water samples were taken from three stations, while local wisdom data were collected through questionnaires. Results shown that the community used to maintain the Jorong Ikan Banyak ecosystem by applying regulations for fish capture. Water quality parameter values of the Lubuk Larangan are as follows : temperature was 22.5-230c; water depth was 71.75-120.25 cm; current speed  was 0.25-0.42 m/s; dissolved oxygen was 4.6-4.8 mg/l and pH was 6. The tourism potential element scores of the Lubuk Larangan were as follows:  Attractiveness 1,095; Accessibility 537.5; Accommodations 45 and Facilities 240, total score  1,917.5. This score indicates that the Lubuk Larangan Jorong Ikan Banyak  is suitable for tourism object.

Abstract

Transportasi umum di kota Bandung semakin hari semakin ditinggalkan oleh masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh semakin mudahnya masyarakat mendapatkan kendaraan pribadi. Selain itu, pertimbangan lain seperti kemudahan, kecepatan, dan biaya transportasi menjadi faktor penting bagi masyarakat untuk lebih memilih kendaraan pribadi. Dengan begitu, transportasi umum – salah satunya angkot – semakin sulit memperoleh penumpang sehingga banyak angkot yang mengabaikan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan tarif perjalanan, serta waktu yang dimiliki penumpang karena iuran wajib pada pemilik angkot untuk membayar cicilan kendaraan angkot tetap harus terpenuhi. Jika dilihat secara umum dan khusus, masalah utamanya adalah pada biaya transportasi umum khususnya angkot yang mahal karena manajemen perputaran uang pada angkot yang kurang baik sehingga harga tersebut dirasa tidak sesuai dengan pelayanan yang didapatkan. Perpaduan perangkat pendukung angkutan umum dengan sistem integrasi yang memperhatikan aspek ergonomi yang sesuai dengan antropometri masyarakat kota Bandung menjadi alternatif pemecah masalah agar sistem pembayaran angkutan umum lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Kebutuhan dan pembangunan akan prasarana transportasi jalan di Pedesaan sangat mendesak. Pembangunan jalan yang dihasilkan di Pedesaan paling tidak ditinjau dari as-pek geometri, pelaksanaan, dan biaya tidak jauh berbeda dari kaidah-kaidah teknis, ling-kungan, dan ekonomis. Kendala yang ada di Pedesaan akan selalu dihadapkan pada sumber daya manusia pelaksana yang memadai. Tulisan ini akan mencoba menguraikan dasar-dasar perencanaan sederhana untuk geometri jalan di Pedesaan, yang mudah di-pahami dan dilaksanakan.Ditinjau dari sejarah terjadinya jalan di Pedesaan banyak dijumpai jalan berubah peran dan fungsinya seiring dengan waktu, perubahan tersebut dimulai dari jalan setapak, lalu berubah jadi jalan lokal, jalan kolektor, dan mungkin jadi jalan arteri. Oleh karena banyak ditemui elemen geometri jalan yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan teknis yang ada dan ini sangat berbahaya untuk pergerakan lalu lintas.Undang Undang, No. 38 Tahun 2004, Tentang Jalan, bahwa prasarana transportasi jalan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembangunan dan sekaligus menyalurkan hasil pem-bangunan ke seluruh pelosak hingga ke Pedesaan. Prasarana transportasi dalam bentuk jalan untuk kawasan pedesaan merupakan pilihan utama, selain murah dalam pem-bangunan juga mempunyai keunggulan dalam aksesibilitas.

Abstract

Lapis pondasi agregat mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam prasarana tran-sportasi, khususnya pada perkerasan jalan. Salah satu tipe material perkerasan jalan adalah Lapis Pondasi Agregat Kelas A yang mempunyai persyaratan spesifikasi yang harus di penuhi sebelum penghamparan atau pemadatan di lapangan, sebelum mela-kukan penghamparan dilapangan material harus di uji Laboratorium untuk memenuhi persyaratan Lapis Pondasi Agregat Kelas A tersebut.Penentuan nilai kepadatan kering maksimum (γd) dan kadar air optimum (OMC) dilaku-kan pengujian Laboratorium ber-dasarkan SNI 03-1743-1989 dan CBR Laboratorium menggunakan SNI 03-1744-1989. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sampel Batas Atas (BA) dengan kadar air optimum 6.99% dan kepadatan kering maksimum 2.14 g/cm3 dan sampel Batas Tengah (BT) kadar air optimum 7.27% dan kepadatan kering maksimum 2.19 g/cm3. Sampel BA dengan nilai CBR0,1” = 119% dan nilai CBR0,2” = 113% dan sampel BT dengan nilai CBR0,1” = 93% dan nilai CBR0,2” = 112,3%. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa sampel BT lah yang memiliki daya dukung yang tinggi dibandingkan sampel BA.
