Abstract

The need for air pollutant monitoring system is very substantial especially in the developing countries such as Indonesia. In this research, we have performed a test of such system for carbon monoxide gas based on wireless sensor network (WSN) using ZigBee. This system is working with a mesh topology where each sensor node can communicate with one another. There are seven nodes that serve as sensor nodes and one node serving as Coordinator. Each sensor node has five components that represent of gas sensors. We measure three performance metrics during the test, i.e. throughput, delay, and packet loss. The system has been successfully implemented which is capable of displaying information in real time. The experiment resulted in an average carbon monoxide value of 25.1 ppm and showed a good performance. It showed a throughput more than 1.017 kbps, delay and packet loss ratio less than 409 ms and 5 %, respectively.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan jasmani merupakan suatu proses seseorang sebagai individu ataupun anggota masyarakat yang dilakukan secara sadar dan sistematik, melalui berbagai kegiatan dalam rangka memperoleh kemampuan dan ketrampilan jasmani, pertumbuhan, kecerdasan, dan pembentukan watak atau karakter. Dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, berhasil tidaknya pembelajaran ditentukan oleh peran guru sebagai pendidik yang berarti meneruskan dan mengembangkan keterampilan gerak pada peserta didik, sehingga proses pembelajaran pendididkan jasmani dapat berjalan dengan baik. Banyak metode pembelajaran yang digunakan agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai gerak dasar dribble. Akan tetapi dalam kenyataan dan praktik di lapangan masih terdapat banyak siswa yang masih belum paham akan materi yang di sampaikan oleh guru.Untuk itu di perlukan sebuah metode pembelajaran lain yang di rancang dengan menggunakan kemampuan teman sebaya pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. 2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya terhadap hasil belajar dribble sepakbola kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Genteng ini, dengan jumlah sampel 54 siswa yang terdiri dari 27 siswa kelompok eksperimen (tutot sebaya) dan 27 siswa kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan metode tutor sebaya terhadap hasil belajar dribble sepakbola yang dibuktikan dari nilai thitung5,19>ttabel2,056dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Sedangkan besar pengaruhnya diketahui sebesar  28,31%. Kata kunci: Metode tutor sebaya, hasil belajar, dribble sepakbola. Abstract Physical education is one of someone’s process as a person or society grup with consciously and systematic, through any activities to get ability and skill of physical, growth, intelligence, and built character. In physical education learning, would say it’s working or not, can be decided from teacher’s role as a educator which means developing move skill to students, until physical education learning process can be work. Many learning method which used to increasing student’s ability to control dribble based move. But in fact, practically in field, there are many students who don’t understood yet about sub-subject who gave by teacher. For that reason, would needed to be another learning method which created using peer tutor’s ability in student class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi. This research has purpose, 1) To know whether there is effect of peer tutor learning method can be increasing student’s learning result. 2) To see how big effect of peer tutor learning method to football dribble learning result in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Genteng, with amount of samples 54 students, consist of 27 student in experiment group (peer tutor) and 27 students in control group. Based on research has done, can take a conclusion that there is significant effect of peer tutor to football dribble learning result, which proven by value thitung 5,19> ttabel 2,056 with significant degree 0,05. Whereas, amount of effect level 28,31%. Keywords: Peer tutor method, learning result, football dribble.

Abstract

Pengukuran jarak menggunakan sensor berupa kamera digital sangat bergantung pada proses kalibrasiyang didukung algoritma pengolahan citra yang rumit. Pendekatan ini menghasilkan citra dengan framerate yang rendah. Hal ini mengakibatkan hasil dari metoda ini cenderung kurang baik jika diterapkanpada sistem realtime. Akurasi pengukuran jarak dengan kamera dapat diperbaiki dengan bantuanbeberapa sensor tambahan. Publikasi ini memaparkan suatu sistem yang mampu untuk melakukanestimasi jarak setiap piksel menggunakan sebuah sensor Kinect berbasis masukan video Depth. Sistem inidapat diterapkan dalam robot untuk mengukur jarak terhadap penghalang guna mendukung kemampuannavigasi. Tiga pendekatan dalam estimasi jarak tiap piksel dengan menggunakan sensor Kinectdibandingkan dalam tulisan ini. Performa akuisisi data jarak berdasarkan masukan video depthmenggunakan pustaka Microsoft Kinect SDK dibandingkan dengan hasil yang dicapai OpenNI. Sebuahmetoda baru untuk estimasi jarak berbasis nilai hue dari video depth yang dibaca dengan pustakaLibfreeNect diusulkan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis terhadap hasil pengujian pada pengukuran terhadapbeberapa titik penting dalam bingkai citra didiskusikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the attitude and underlying factors is students language attitudes SMP Negeri 2 Gedongtataan, school year 2012/2013. The research design was descriptive qualitative. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire Linkert scale and doing observations and interviews. The results showed that a class IX student of SMP Negeri 2 Gedongtataan, school year 2012/2013 have a positive attitude in the Indonesian language. Students have a positive attitudes in using the Indonesian language because of students are accustomed  in using Indonesian  since they were child or before entering kindergarten and students know when and where the use of Indonesia, local language, and foreign language.The reflecting the overall attitude of speaking achievement of the objectives of language teaching. In addition, the results of this study are inputs for improvement process and evaluation in learning Indonesian.Penelitian  ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap dan faktor-faktor penyebab sikap berbahasa siswa SMP Negeri 2 Gedongtataan, tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Desain penelitian ini adalah  deskriptif  kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket skala Linkert serta melakukan pengamatan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Gedongtataan, tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 memiliki sikap positif  dalam berbahasa Indonesia. Siswa memiliki sikap positif berbahasa Indonesia disebabkan  siswa terbiasa menggunakan bahasa Indonesia sejak kecil atau sebelum masuk taman kanak-kanak dan siswa tahu kapan dan di mana penggunaaan bahasa Indonesia, bahasa daerah, dan bahasa asing. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan cerminan ketercapaian tujuan pengajaran bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini merupakan  bahan  masukan untuk perbaikan proses dan penilaian dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: faktor pembentukan sikap, implikasi, pembelajaran bahasa, sikap berbahasa

Abstract

The low skill in speaking Bahasa appropriately has become learning’s problem. To overcome it, there must be a proper way in increasing speaking skill. One proper way is talk show which has been an interesting media. The problem is how to develop students speaking skill in Bahasathrough talk show? The aim is increasing students achievement and speaking skill through talk show using descriptive qualitative through classroom action research with communicative approach. The procedure is done in three cycles. The object is class XI IPA-1 SMAN 6 Bandar Lampung, where there are 31 female and 9 male students. The test used is oral test (talk show). The result shows; first, the score is around 71,63 means enough (62,5%), second, 8,69 means good (82,5%), and third, 85,56 means better (100%). Conclucion is, developing students’ speaking skill in Bahasa through talk show can increase students’ skill.Rendahnya keterampilan berbicara yang baik dan benar menjadi permasalahan tersendiri dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan cara yang tepat dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara, misalnya melalui gelar wicara. Oleh karena itu, masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peningkatan keterampilan berbicara dalam bahasa Indonesia melalui gelar wicara? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara melalui gelar wicara dengan metode peneltian tindakan kelas dan pendekatan komunikatif. Prosedur penelitian sebanyak tiga siklus. Objek penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA-1 SMAN 6 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri atas 31 siswa putri dan 9 siswa putra dengan tes lisan melalui gelar wicara. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pada siklus satu 71,63 kategori cukup (62,5%), siklus dua 78,69 kategori baik (82,5%), dan siklus tiga ( 85,56) kategori sangatvbaik (100%). Kesimpulannya keterampilan berbicara dalam bahasa Indonesiavmelalui gelar wicara dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.Kata kunci: gelar wicara, keterampilan berbicara, peningkatan.

Abstract

This study is about the character education values in the novel titled Haji Ngeteng and its appropriateness as teaching material. The method used in this is descriptive qualitative. This study showed that in Haji Ngeteng, there are seventy data character education values as follows: thirteen data for religiousness, one data for honest, three data for tolerance, five data for discipline, seven data for hard work, four data for creativity, three dara for independence, four data for democracy, eight data for curiousity, four data for nasionalism, two data for credits to achievements, three data on communication skill, one data for pacifism, three data for reading enthusiasm, one data for environmental awareness, six data for social awareness, and two data for responsibility. The novel Haji Ngeteng is proved to be an appropriate teaching material.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada novel Haji Ngeteng dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Haji Ngeteng terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. sebanyak tujuh puluh data yang meliputi: religius sebanyak tiga belas data, jujur sebanyak satu data, toleransi sebanyak tiga data, disiplin sebanyak lima data, kerja keras sebanyak tujuh data, kreatif sebanyak empat data, mandiri sebanyak tiga data, demokratis sebanyak empat data, rasa ingin tahu sebanyak delapan data, semangat kebangsaan sebanyak empat data, menghargai prestasi sebanyak dua data, bersahabat/komunikatif sebanyak tiga data, cinta damai sebanyak satu data, gemar membaca sebanyak tiga data, peduli lingkungan sebanyak satu data, peduli sosial sebanyak enam data, dan tanggung jawab sebanyak dua data. Novel Haji Ngeteng layak untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar mata pelajaran.Kata kunci: karakter, nilai-nilai, pendidikan.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the important aspects of learning, therefore, how the level of the relationship between achievement motivation with learning to write, is a problem in this study. The goal is to determine the relationship of students motivation with students learning achievement writing class X SMA Tunas Harapan Bandar Lampung. Using the ex-post facto kind correlational study. Data sources are motivation to learn and learning achievement. The results mean value of 67 and the motivation to learn the value of the average write performance by 70, the coefficient of determination with a contribution of 37.3%. Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.661 is between 0.60 to 0.79, it can be interpreted that the relationship between motivation to learn and the learning achievement of students included in the category is a strong correlation.Motivasi merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam belaj ar, oleh sebab itu, bagaimana tingkat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar menulis, merupakan masalah dalam penelitian ini. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar siswa dengan prestasi belajar menulis siswa kelas X SMA Tunas Harapan Bandar Lampung. Menggunakan metode ex-post facto jenis correlational study. Sumber data motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar sebesar 67 dan nilai rata-rata prestasi menulis sebesar 70, koefisien determinasi dengan kontribusi sebesar 37,3%. Nilai koefesien korelasi pearson sebesar 0,661 berada antara 0,60-0,79, dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa termasuk pada kategori korelasi yang kuat.Kata kunci: hubungan, motivasi belajar, prestasi menulis.

Abstract

The problems in this research are how the local colour in drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama and the elegibility as a literature teaching material in senior high school. This research aims to describe of local colour in drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama and to determine the elegibility as an Indonesian literature teaching material in senior high school. Research method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique of collecting and data analysis in this research are technique data analysis.The results of this research describe eight Lampung local colour aspect in the drama script, namely language usage (word and expression), mores, behaviour, way of thinking, people artistry, environment, house architecture, and living and equipments live. The local colour aspect run better through by interaction of all figure. By eight local colour aspect in the script, can be seen the description of attitude to life of society which mirror in Piil Pesenggiri. The life philosophy reflection can be seen in behaviour and way of thinking of all figure in drama script. Drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama included in drama of realist comedy because in it serves the humorous conduct of all figures that depicted in behaviour, way of thinking, and Ianguage style of all figures.Based on the observation from curriculum, art aspect, and assess the liberal education and character, drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama competent to be an Indonesian literature teaching material in senior high school. Keywords: drama script, elegibility, literature teaching material

Abstract

The problem of this research was how the use of affix in newspaper headlines Lampung Post. The purpose of this research was to describe the affix in newspaper headlines Lampung Post and its implications for indonesian learning in high school. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data source of this research is newspaper headlines lampung post. Based on the analysis of data, it was found that the use of affixes include prefixes, suffixes, konfiks, and the combination of affixes. The result of this research can also be used as teaching materials of indonesian language learning competencies releated to writing text news.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan afiks dalam berita utama surat kabar Lampung Post. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan afiks dalam berita utama surat kabar Lampung Post dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah berita utama surat kabar Lampung Post. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis teks. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan afiks berupa prefiks, sufiks, konfiks, dan kombinasi afiks. Afiks pada kajian ini dapat digunkana sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi menulis teks berita.Kata kunci: afiks, headline, implikasi bahan ajar.

Abstract

The problem of this study is how the protagonist’s religious behavior in the novel Dzikir Ilalang (Kun Fayakun) by Andi Bombang and its worthiness as a teaching material of literature in Senior High School are. This study aims to describe the protagonist’s religious behavior in the novel Dzikir Ilalang (Kun Fayakun) by Andi Bombang and to determine its worthiness as a teaching material of Indonesian literature in Senior High School. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative method. The source of data in this study is the novel Dzikir Ilalang (Kun Fayakun) by Andi Bombang. The result of the study shows that religious behavior of the protagonist in this novel, Hardi, covers five dimensions: ideology, worship, intellectual, physical, and experience. In the ideology dimension, the Hardi’s character has strong belief in Allah, His prophets, His Alquran, and His kodrat and iradat, and His Islamic doctrines. In the worship dimension, the religious behavior of Hardi’s character is realized in his behavior which is doing prayers, liking zikir (a kind of chant), and praying. In the intellectual dimension, the Hardi’s character has knowledge and comprehension about his religious tenets. In addition, in the phisycal dimension, his religious behavior is realized in his behavior which is polite and respectful to adults, modest, helpful, caring about, generous, gentle, thankful, full of affection, independent, just, never giving up, liking to associate, wise, responsible, humble (qonaah), honest, keeping promises, obedient, and sincere. And finally, the religious behavior of Hardi’s character in the experience dimension is realized in the religious experience which he has and feels. The novel Dzikir Ilalang (Kun Fayakun) by Andi Bombang is worthy to be teaching material alternative of Indonesian literature in Senior High School. This is based on the criteria of the literature teaching material selection which is considered from the aspects of literature and of character education. Seeing from character education, Hardi’s religious behaviour can be a material for characters education. One of his religious behaviour that can be material for education character is his polite and respect attitude to his parents.  Key words: religious behavior, intellectual, worship
