Abstract

Utilization of communication and computer technology has spread into various fields. Begin from the world of entertainment, education, business, health, life-style, and also the tourist field. Nowadays, still lack of the information related to the city of Surabaya as historical information, information about tourist sites, and others. This research conduct to develop an application to explore the history of the city of Surabaya as historic sites, tourist sites, museums, and the event agenda in town. With this application, the user is expected to be able to learn about the history of the city of Surabaya in the interesting form by combining text, picture, sound, and Google map facilities, as well as well as the promotion of tourism and events agenda are hosted in the city of Surabaya. Surabaya Heritage Applications created on a web-based application that is intended for public to know better about the history, tourism objects, as well as the event agenda in the city of Surabaya. Based from the testing results, the application was able to perform functions such as pre-planned. Meanwhile, testing by sampling questionnaires to the user produce that the application is attracting interest from users by 85%. It can be concluded that the applications made quite meet the target research.

Abstract

Indonesia has several laws and rules, one of them is Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) or criminal code. The most frequent to happened in criminal case is criminal case of wealth. Law domain is very complex, so that it's difficult for common people to understand and categorize a criminal case based on the Criminal Code. It will be very helpful if there is a computer program that could help people to understand and categorize a criminal case based on the criminal code. The main topic in this research is the designing and making of a rule-based expert system for criminal case of wealth problems . This expert system development is using forward chaining inference method, which is a data-driven inference process for finding a conclusion. Law contents of this expert system program are adopted from the Criminal Code. Criminal cases discussed in this expert system program are: thievery, extortion and threat, embezzling, cheating, act of damaging and passing goods from a criminal case. The purpose of this software is to make an expert system program to select chapters of the Criminal Code which are involved in a criminal case. This expert system development are based on this following steps: analyze the law topic, designing block diagrams, dependency diagrams and decision tables, implement design into a computer program, and testing the program. This expert system development is using Borland Delphi 6.0. as programming language and Micorosoft Access 2000 as database. Based on testing, this expert system program shows that this program still need more improvement on its law content with broaden law topic. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Indonesia sebagai negara hukum, memiliki bermacam-macam peraturan hukum, salah satunya adalah Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) yang digunakan untuk mengatur berbagai macam tindak pidana. Adapun jenis tindak pidana yang sering terjadi adalah tindak pidana terhadap harta kekayaan. Masalah hukum pidana sangat kompleks sehingga sulit bagi orang awam untuk mengerti dan memilah-milah pasal-pasal yang mengatur suatu kasus hukum. Hal ini sering membingungkan bagi orang awam saat terlibat dalam suatu kasus hukum sehingga perlu ada sebuah program komputer untuk membantu memahami dan memilah-milah pasal-pasal yang terlibat dalam suatu kasus hukum. Pembahasan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah perancangan dan pembuatan sistem pakar rule-based untuk permasalahan hukum pidana terhadap harta kekayaan. Pengembangan sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode inferensi forward chaining, yaitu proses inferensi yang memulai pencarian dari premis atau data menuju pada konklusi. Materi hukum untuk program sistem pakar ini diadopsi dari Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP). Permasalahan hukum yang dibahas meliputi: pencurian, pemerasan dan pengancaman, penggelapan, kecurangan, perusakan dan penadahan. Tujuan dari software ini adalah membuat sistem pakar yang digunakan untuk menyeleksi pasal-pasal KUHP yang terlibat dalam sebuah kasus pidana. Pembuatan sistem pakar ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: menganalisa permasalahan hukum dengan melibatkan praktisi hukum, membuat desain sistem pakar, mengimplementasikan desain dalam program komputer dan melakukan uji coba dengan melibatkan praktisi hukum dan orang awam. Pembuatan sistem pakar ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Borland Delphi 6.0 dengan basis data Microsoft Access 2000. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa program masih membutuhkan pengembangan pada sisi materi hukumnya dengan pengembangan program sejenis dengan domain permasalahan hukum yang lebih luas, Kata kunci : Forward Chaining, Sistem Pakar, Rule-based, Hukum Pidana.

Abstract

Nowadays, cellular phone improves so fast and already supported by GPRS and Java technology. With this facilities enabling internet connection to computer server via cellular phone. This is the background idea to develop online test application using cellular phone to as alternative media. In this research, an online test application has been developed which enable users to take a particular test that consists of multiple choice items with either single or multi answers and essay items, whether it has reading text or not, and see their test result via their own cellular phones. This application will utilize GPRS connection to communicate with the server. This application was developed by using Java programming language. The Java platform being used is Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) on the cellular phone application and Java Server Page (JSP) for the server application. This application has been tested and running well on Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610, Nokia N73, Ben-Q Siemens EF51, and Motorola L6 phone using ProXL, IM3, Mentari, and Simpati communication providers. Although the communication speeds are varied among providers, the application is running as intended. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Saat ini perkembangan handphone semakin berkembang, merupakan sesuatu yang telah umum suatu handphone yang menyediakan fasilitas koneksi General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) dan fasilitas teknologi Java. Dengan adanya fasilitas Java dan GPRS ini memungkinkan adanya koneksi online menggunakan handphone ke suatu komputer server melalui internet. Hal ini mendasari pembuatan aplikasi tes online menggunakan handphone sebagai media alternatif dalam penyelenggaraan dan pengerjaan tes yang selama ini umumnya menggunakan media kertas ataupun komputer. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan aplikasi tes online yang memungkinkan peserta handphone untuk mengerjakan tes yang terdiri dari soal multiple choice dengan single maupun multi answer, dan soal essay baik yang memiliki teks bacaan maupun tidak, serta melihat hasil tes yang pernah diikutinya. Aplikasi tes online ini menggunakan koneksi GPRS untuk berkomunikasi dengan komputer server dan dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java. Platform Java yang digunakan adalah Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) pada sisi handphone dan Java Server Page (JSP) pada sisi server. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem aplikasi tes online dapat berjalan dengan baik pada Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610, Nokia N73, Ben-Q Siemens EF51, dan Motorola L6 dengan menggunakan operator ProXL, IM3, Mentari, dan Simpati. Kecepatan transfer data tergantung dari kecepatan GPRS yang disediakan oleh masing-masing operator. Kata Kunci : J2ME, JSP, tes online

Abstract

The analysis of an academic process from a university is one of tools to help decision making for the next academic process and to solve problems from the academic process. Data warehouse can help to provide the data which is needed to show the performance measurement of academic process. The information from the data warehouse is about lecturer and students performance, students pass grade subjects, and summary from each point of it. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Analisis proses belajar mengajar dalam suatu universitas merupakan salah satu alat bantu yang digunakan untuk mengambil keputusan dalam proses belajar mengajar berikutnya maupun untuk permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses belajar mengajar tersebut. Data warehouse dapat membantu penyediaan data yang dibutuhkan dalam pengukuran kinerja proses belajar mengajar tersebut. Informasi yang dihasilkan pada data warehouse tersebut adalah kinerja dosen, kinerja mahasiswa, tingkat kelulusan mata kuliah dan summary dari nilai tiap mata kuliah. Abstract

Unit Pelayanan dan Pemeliharaan Kampus (UPPK) Universitas Kristen Petra has a difficulty in facing the customers. Sometimes, a customer has to contact or meet UPPK staff just for asking schedule or give complain. Besides, UPPK needs a system that has ability to analyze equipments needed, base on customers' request and to analyze serving evaluation. Because of these problems, a web based system of distributing information, equipments and tools ordering, transportation ordering, room ordering, sport-field ordering, giving complain, equipments needed analysis and serving evaluation analysis is made. With this system, customers can obtain schedule information and then make an order, or giving complain, without have to meet the UPPK staff. This system is developed using PHP and MySQL as database server. The system is validated by distributing some questionnaires for UPPK staff and customers that give an average value of 3.63 (scale 1-4). Therefore, it can be concluded that this system can help to solve the problems. Besides, the systems also give a facility to analyze the serving evaluation and the need of equipments and tools. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Unit Pelayanan dan Pemeliharaan Kampus (UPPK) Universitas Kristen Petra mengalami kesulitan dalam berhadapan dengan customer. Terkadang customer harus menghubungi atau bertatap muka dengan pihak UPPK hanya untuk menanyakan jadwal pemakaian atau menyampaikan keluhan. Selain hal itu UPPK juga membutuhkan suatu sistem yang mampu menganalisa kebutuhan peralatan/barang berdasar permintaan customer serta analisa kinerja yang telah dilakukan. Melihat permasalahan yang ada, maka dibuat suatu sistem penyampaian informasi, pemesanan peralatan/barang, pemesanan ruang khusus, pemesanan lapangan, pemesanan kendaraan, penyampaian keluhan, analisa kebutuhan barang dan kinerja berbasis web. Dengan sistem ini customer dapat memperoleh informasi jadwal dan melakukan pemesanan serta penyampaian keluhan tanpa harus bertatap muka dengan pihak UPPK. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan bahasa PHP dan database server MySQL. Dari hasil pengujian dengan kuisioner kepada UPPK dan customer pengguna fasilitas didapat nilai rata-rata 3,63 (dari skala 1-4), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem dapat membantu memecahkan permasalahan yang ada. Selain itu sistem juga memberikan fasilitas untuk menganalisa evaluasi layanan dan kebutuhan barang. Kata kunci: web, pemesanan, analisa kebutuhan.

Abstract

Until now dogs always have a position as a human friend. With many kind of dogs so an expert was needed to identified the type of dogs based on the characteristics of the dog. But an human expert also have difficulties to identify because there are so many kind of dogs. Therefore, a system is needed to help the identification process. It is a system which can adopt the abilities of experts to identify the dog. With all the technological advancement these days, it have been developed a technology which able to adopt the process and human thinking. This particular technology is called Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence have many kind of application, one of them is an Expert System which have abilities to adopt a Knowledge Base from inputing data from experience of the expert on specific term. Principally, all the database of dogs with its characteristics will be added on a Knowledge Base. This base is take form as a database group, where the Inference Engine on the Expert System will work on these data to describe a specific dog based on the characteristic inputed by user through the user interface. This identification system to describe the dog was made using Delphi programming. On this program, searching kind of dog will be do by inputing characteristics of the dog that user want to find, then the program will find on Knowledge Base which dogs that match on that characteristics. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Dari dahulu hingga saat ini anjing selalu menempati hubungan yang khusus sebagai sahabat manusia. Dengan banyaknya macam anjing yang ada maka dibutuhkan seorang pakar untuk mengidentifikasikan jenis anjing berdasar ciri-ciri dari anjing yang bersangkutan. Tetapi seseorang yang benar-benar ahli sekalipun terkadang kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasikannya karena adanya banyak sekali jenis anjing. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang dapat membantu pengindentifikasian. Yaitu suatu sistem yang dapat mengadopsi kemampuan para pakar untuk pengidentifikasian jenis anjing. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi yang makin pesat maka telah dikembangkan suatu teknologi yang mampu mengadopsi proses dan cara pikir manusia yaitu teknologi Artificial Intelligence atau kecerdasan buatan. Artificial Intelligence memiliki berbagai macam jenis aplikasi, salah satunya adalah Sistem Pakar atau Expert System yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengadopsi suatu dasar pengetahuan (knowledge base) yang diperoleh melalui penginputan data dari kemampuan para pakar dalam suatu bidang tertentu yang bersifat spesifik. Pada prinsipnya seluruh data jenis anjing beserta ciri-cirinya akan dimasukkan pada suatu knowledge base yang berupa suatu kumpulan database dimana kemudian Inference Engine dari sistem pakar akan mengolahnya untuk mendiskripsikan jenis anjing berdasar ciri-ciri yang dimasukkan oleh user melalui fasilitas user interface.Sistem identifikasi untuk mendiskripsikan jenis anjing ini dibuat dengan menggunakan pemrograman delphi. Pada program ini, pelacakan jenis anjing dilakukan dengan memasukkan variasi ciri-ciri jenis anjing yang ingin dicari, kemudian program akan mencari pada knowledge base jenis-jenis anjing yang memiliki kriteria yang telah diinputkan. Abstract

The main foundation of information system is database and programming. Inefficient database and unstructured programming can influence information system performance. Database design is very important, including the data design, data domain and relationship. Unstable design can cause data lost, inconsistent data, redundancy data, slow data updating and many more. A some presented in this paper study cases here show how important the step of design before the step of making database, which is called the design of logical data model. From these study cases here, we can see that design will influence the database. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Dalam suatu sistem informasi, landasan yang utama adalah database dan implementasi prgoram. Database yang tidak efektif dan implementasi program yang tidak terstruktur dapat mempengaruhi performansi sistem informasi tersebut. Pengaruh desain terhadap database sangatlah besar, termasuk desain data, tipe data maupun relasinya. Pembuatan desain yang tidak dibangun dengan cermat dapat menyebabkan hilangnya data yang dibutuhkan, data yang tidak konsisten, redundansi data, proses update yang lambat dan banyak hal lain. Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, dibuatlah beberapa contoh kasus yang dapat menunjukkan betapa pentingnya desain sebelum pembuatan database yaitu pembuatan logical data model. Dari contoh kasus yang diberikan, dapat dilihat bahwa desain mempengaruhi database yang akan dibentuk. Kata kunci: database, logical data model.

Abstract

Nowadays, PT. Balatif has the calculation system for production cost that can only include the calculation of cost of materials based on standard Bill of Material (BOM), while record of factory overhead cost, direct labor cost and report that relating to the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured of product still cannot be handled by the system. So that the current costs that really occurred in the production process will be difficult to trace and the production cost not based on reality process. Based on that problem, this research design a system to calculate production cost that can handle that problem. This application used Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 as the programming tool and Oracle 10g as the database. Results that obtained from the application that have been made are raw material usage can be saved based on BOM or additional, machine usage, operator usage, and so on associated with the production process. In addition, the application that has been made can be used to allocate the costs that occur during the production process and to generate reports related to the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured of a product automatically.

Abstract

CV. X is still using a manual accounting system. They use a note for recording account receivable and account payable. Calculating total sales and profit do in manually. It takes a large amount of time to get some information that needed. Therefore an adequate accounting information system is needed in order to proceed an automate journalizing and to produce information accurately and quickly. First step in building accounting information system is to analyze and watch closely to the company's existing system. And the second step is to design the accounting information system, which can fulfill and appropriate with the company needs. The accounting information system is formed from integration of sales, purchasing and accounting/recording process. Including in sales are establishing sales order, checking available inventory for sale (stock) and customer's credit limit. Including in purchasing is establishing purchase order until receiving and recording purchase invoice. Including in accounting/recording are journalizing, posting and reporting income statement. This software is using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 as the database and Borland Delphi 7.0 as the compiler. Implementation for the whole software has gained 72.5% for user's satisfaction. Therefore it can be conclude that software has already fulfilled and appropriate with the needs of the company's system. But there also have some weakness to handle. This software helps in accelerating and simplifying the recording process and reporting income statement process. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Sistem akuntansi pada CV. X masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu pencatatan piutang pada kartu piutang dan pencatatan hutang pada kartu hutang. Perhitungan total penjualan dan keuntungan dilakukan manual, sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk mendapatkan informasi yang diinginkan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem informasi akuntansi yang memadai, untuk memproses pencatatan secara otomatis dan menghasilkan infomasi yang cepat dan tepat. Pembuatan sistem infomasi akuntansi dimulai dari analisis dan pengamatan terhadap sistem perusahaan. Kemudian dari data yang ada, dilakukan perancangan sistem informasi akuntansi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Sistem infomasi akuntansi yang dibangun merupakan integrasi dari modul penjualan, modul pembelian dan akuntansi (pencatatan). Penjualan meliputi pembuatan sales order, pengecekan inventori dan pengecekan kredit limit pelanggan. Pembelian meliputi pembuatan purchase order sampai penerimaan purchase invoice. Pencatatan meliputi penjurnalan, posting dan pembuatan laporan laba rugi. Software ini dibuat dengan menggunakan SQL server 7.0 untuk database-nya dan menggunakan Borland Delphi 7.0 sebagai compiler-nya. Kepuasan pengguna terhadap keseluruhan aplikasi sebesar 72.5%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi sudah memenuhi dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem, tapi masih ada beberapa kelemahan yang perlu untuk diperbaiki. Aplikasi ini membantu proses pencatatan dengan melakukan otomatisasi penjurnalan dan posting serta membantu mempercepat proses pembuatan laporan laba rugi perusahaan. Abstract

Mining association rules is one of the important tasks in the process of data mining application. In general, the input as used in the process of generating rules is taken from a certain data table by which all the corresponding values of every domain data have correlations one to each others as given in the table. A problem arises when we need to generate the rules expressing the relationship between two or more domains that belong to several different tables in a normalized database. To overcome the problem, before generating rules it is necessary to join the participant tables into a general table by a process called Denormalization Process. This paper shows a process of generating Multidimensional Fuzzy Association Rules mining from a normalized database of medical record patients. The process consists of two sub-processes, namely sub-process of join tables (Denormalization Process) and sub-process of generating fuzzy rules. In general, the process of generating the fuzzy rules has been discussed in our previous papers [1, 2, 3, 4]. In addition to the process of generating fuzzy rules, this paper proposes a correlation measure of the rules as an additional consideration for evaluating interestingness of provided rules.
