Abstract

The seedling unit of  Mulyorejo  is  one  breeder  catfish  has  implemented  the way of a good and true fish hatchery  system and  quality  of  seeds produced and certified so that many invaded by consumers of catfish enlargement  group. But the problem  is  that  the  UPR  has  not  been  able  to  needs  of  consumers  seed. UPR  is  targeting production of 12 million of seeds during the rainy season, but in reality only able to supply seeds of catfish in the market about 5 million fries so that there is a shortage of 7 million fries. Therefore, it  is  necessary  that  the  appropriate   technology  breakthroughs  Laserpuncture  technology  to accelerate  the provision of gonads mature  broodstock catfish and catfish seed supplies in bulk and  continuously  to  support  the  success,  sustainability  and  development  of  catfish  farming through  socialization.  The  method  is  applied  to  training  programs  for  the  dissemination  of technology laserpuncture as an  effort to accelerate  the broodstock catfish  mature  gonads  and seed production a mass scale in the group breeder catfish "Mulyorejo" in the village of Maguan, followed by giving dempond, operating  practices laserpuncture and induction  laserpuncture in dot reproduction  appropriately  as  well as  assistance  to the  group  breeder    catfish  as  trained partners.  From the results of this socialization, some catfish breeder   has applied laserpuncture technologies   for   spawning   of   broodstock   catfish   and   eggs   were   overripe   oviposition simultaneously  and evenly desperate   in the spawning pond and seeds produced may reach  80-90%, which impacted positively with an increase in revenue.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the speed of spawning and the number of fertilized eggs at the parent catfish (Clarias sp) post-induction laserpuncture and ovaprim. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology, University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The experimental design used was completely randomized design. The study consisted of three treatments, induction laserpuncture in reproductive acupoint precisely at 2/3 of the ventral body for 15 seconds, giving ovaprim 0.4 ml/kg body weight and control (without induction laserpuncture and without giving ovaprim), each repeated six times. Total catfish male parent used as many as 18 heads and parent female catfish as many as 18 heads of all the conditions are ripe gonads. Number of pools that use a total of 18 pools (for spawning catfish). The data collected is spawning catfish speed and the number of fertilized eggs. The results showed that the induction of laserpuncture precisely at 2/3 the ventral body for 15 seconds reproductive acupoint fastest spawning effect and eggs fertilization hight significant than ovaprim and control.   Keywords: Induction laserpuncture, ovaprim, eggs fertilization, speed spawning catfish

Abstract

Laserpuncture  exposure at the reproductive acupoint of broodstock catfishes female shown to speed maturation of the gonads. To accelerate the gonadal maturation broodstock catfish due to exposure needed laserpuncture adequate feed, especially protein content results. if laserpuncture exposure is not balanced feeding containing adequate protein, the lower quality of eggs produced. The purpose of this study to examine whether time, the level of protein in the feed and laserpuncture exposure broodstock catfish female can increase the value of GSI. RAK experimental study using a 3x5x2 factorial pattern was repeated 3 times. Factor 1 is the feed protein level of 30%, 35%, and 40%. Factor 2 is pre-spawning time, weeks 0, 3rd, 6th and 9th. Factor 3 is laserpuncture exposure and control. To get the value of GSI by weighing the weight and gonads. The sample used in this study broodstock catfish 1-year-old female with a weight range from 1100 to 1400 grams have never spawned. GSI value analysis using ANOVA Gen Stat program version 15. Results showed laserpuncture  exposure at the reproduction acupoint of which is offset by the provision of feed protein level of 30%, 35% and 40% and the length of time proved to have a significant effect (P <0.05) increase in value GSI. The length of time, giving the feed protein level of 30% and laserpuncture  exposure  proved effective to increase the value of GSI, gonad maturation time can be accelerated three weeks compared to the control group. Abstract

The purpose of research is produced using probiotic fermented feed that can increase: the growth rate (SGR), and  feed efficiency (FCR).  The research was conducted in July and November 2016. The research design used is CRD with 4 treatments and 3 replications, consisting of  without given a probiotic (0%), probiotics 5%, 10% and 15% of the total feed given, for all waters treatment probiotics added to one liter every single week. Media for microbial growth added "medicinal" (white turmeric, ginger, red ginger) containing bioactive and improve immunity, pineapple source of vitamin C, sugar, bran and molasses energy sources and dairy sources of protein that are suitable for growth and multiply microbes. Parameters: SGR and FCR. Analysis of data using Anova, followed by Duncan test. The results showed probiotics in feed and aquaculture waters have a significant influence on the SGR and  FCR (P <0.05). Giving 15% of probiotics produce the best catfish SGR: 3.3867 ± 0, 24440%. Giving 5% probiotics produce the best FCR 1.5733 ± 0.0987.   Keywords: Probiotics, SGR, FCR, catfish

Abstract

Probiotics have a positive influence on fish by improving the microorganism balance in the digestive tract, greatly assisting the process of food absorption. The contribution of probiotics to an increase in follicle growth phase is indicated by an increase in the Gonadosomatic Index (GSI) value. Histological observation of ovaries in zebrafish treated with probiotics showed an increase in follicle vitellogenin; there was a corresponding increase in Hepatosomatic Index (HSI). This study determines the effect of probiotics in the feed on increasing HSI and GSI in male and female catfish (Clarias sp.) broodstock. Four treatments (without probiotics, and with 5, 10, and 15 ml probiotics) were repeated three times. The parameters observed were an increase in HSI and GSI of catfish broodstock. The results showed that there was a significant increase (p<0.05) in the HSI and GSI of catfish broodstock. Extra doses of 5 ml probiotics in the feed were optimal for increasing HSI and GSI of catfish broodstock (male and female) compared to the addition of 10 and 15 ml probiotics to the catfish food.

Abstract

Mud crab was one of the fisheries commodities that havea high economic prospect and good market opportunity, local and export. Soft Laser technology could be achieved using He-Ne and Diode as biostirnulator  for fattening,  egg maturation stage and duration of mud crab. This research was application experimental  that used to Factorial Complete Random Design  with treatment laser with wavelength  differences  (632,8 nm and 635 nm) and Factor II:  Control or no treatment, shooted in theeyestalk point (M) and shooted  in reproduction  point (R) with l O replication. The result of this study indicated that utilization  soft laser influence growth and egg maturation  stage and duration of mud crab. Treatment shooted laser He-Ne (LI) to produce growth and egg maturation stage and duration of mud crab was betterthan not shooted  laser. Treatment shooted soft laser He-Ne (LI) at the eyestalk point to produce better growth as 1,8393   gram and egg maturation  stage and duration of mud crab was highest,  to produce 2 egg maturation stage of full stage as 4 crabs of9 crabs reached  stadia two (LI) with duration of egg maturation  means 9,88    2, 15 days  and control (1,2233  to growth and egg maruration  stage reached 3 crabs to 2 full stage of 7 crabs with duration means 17,334,42days).
