Abstract

The study aimed to identify variations in morphological and molecular character of sugarcane mutants from the mutation of Ethyl Methane Sulphonate (EMS). It used 21 sugarcane mutants and two non-mutant PS865 plants as controls. The treatments with inundation were carried out on 1-17 mutants and non-mutants, while the treatments without inundation were carried out on 18-21 mutant plants and non-mutants. The tolerance characteristics base on the agronomic characters. The RAPD molecular character was observed to detect changes in genotypes and kinship relationships of the plants tested. The results showed that the characteristics of tolerance to the best inundation were found in mutants 1, mutants 3 and mutants 6 which were characterized by the root volume (cm3), fresh root weight (g), sucrose content and brix value (%). Mutant plants treated with inundation showed higher levels of sucrose and brix values. Whereas the control plants in fats, showed lower levels of sucrose and brix. Changes in sugarcane mutant genotypes from non-mutants based on RAPD markers ranged from 14.7 - 56.7 % which resulted in an average polymorphic band of 35.1 % from 37 DNA bands and produced four main groups based on dendrogram analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the provision of teacher strengthening, learning motivation, and to determine the effect of giving reinforcement teachers on student?s learning motivation SD Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. The subjects of this study were students in grades II, III, IV and V with 77 students. This type of research used quantitative descriptive with correlation methods. The technique of collecting data used a questionnaire. The instrument has been validated by expert lecturers in the field of education and by using SPSS calculations. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistics with Spearman rank correlation test analysis. The results showed that giving teachers? reinforcement was included in the quite good category with 45.45%, the students? motivation in learning was included in the good category with 46.75%, the effect of giving reinforcement and learning motivation has a positive and significant effect between teachers reinforcement on learning motivation of SD Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. The findings showed that the results of the Spearman rank correlation test on the correlation coefficient value was 0.578 with a significant level value of 0.01 (0.578 > 0.01) while the value of sig. of 0.00 with a significant level of 0.01 (0.00 < 0.01). Giving teachers? reinforcement on learning motivation was included in the moderate category at a correlation coefficient of 0.578 (0.40 - 0.599).

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is one of the plant commodities that has high economic value. Eggplant production is still volatile so plant breeding with a colchicine mutation is needed to increase eggplant production. Colchicine is Colchicum autumnale seed extract which is able to weaken the spindle thread from the metaphase process to anaphase so that chromosome multiplication occurs without the formation of cell walls. Eggplant sprouts induced by different concentrations of colchicine, they are 0 ppm (K0), 100 ppm (K1), 200 ppm (K2) for 6 hours (L1), 12 hours (L2), 18 hours (L3) . The variables observed were morphological characters such as plant height, flowering age, fruit weight, fruit diameter, fruit length, leaf length, leaf width and stem diameter. The results of the treatment show concentration of colchicine and soaking time had a very significant effect on fruit diameter and fruit weight. K1L2 is the most effectif treatment on diameter and weigh of fruit.The concentration of colchicine has a significant effect on plant height and flowering age. The most effectif concentration in plant height and flowering age is K1. Keywords: Eggplant, Colchicine concentration, Soaking time of colchicine ABSTRAK Terung (Solanum melongena L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman dengan nilai ekonomis tinggi. Produksi terung masih fluktuatif sehingga pemuliaan tanaman dengan mutasi colchicine diperlukan untuk meningkatkan produksi terung. Colchicine merupakan ekstrak dari biji Colchicum autumnale yang mampu melemahkan untaian DNA dari proses metafase menjadi anafase, sehingga multiplikasi kromosom terjadi tanpa pembentukan dinding sel. Kecambah terung diinduksi dengan colchicine dalam konsentrasi yang berbeda, yaitu 0 ppm (K0), 100 ppm (K1), 200 ppm (K2) selama 6 jam (L1), 12 jam (L2), 18 jam (L3). Variabel yang diamati adalah karakter morfologi seperti tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, berat buah, diameter buah, panjang buah, panjang daun, lebar daun dan diameter batang. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan konsentrasi colchicine dan waktu perendaman memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap diameter buah dan berat buah. Perlakuan K1L2 merupakan perlakuan yang paling efektif mempengaruhi diameter dan berat buah. Konsentrasi colchicine memiliki efek signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman dan usia berbunga. Konsentrasi paling efektif terhadap tinggi tanaman dan umur berbunga adalah K1. Kata Kunci: Terung, konsentrasi colchicine, waktu perendaman colchicine

Abstract

[ENGLISH] The experiment was conducted in the Field Research, in Kumendung village, Muncar, Banyuwangi from November 2012 until February 2013. The objectives of the study was to evaluate the effect of NPK fertilizer in some accession of maize on it’s growth and production. It’s also evaluate the protein content of the accession under different fertilizer treatment. The experiment was set up as a split plot design with three replications. Main plot were NPK aplication rates (200, 300, 400 kg NPK ha-1) and the sub-plots were accesion number ( V1 = Srikandi Kuning x Manado Merah ; V2 = Bisma x Srikandi Kuning ; V3 = Srikandi Kuning x Bisma ; and V4 = Bisma x Manado Merah). An split plot statistical analysis of varience (ANOVA) and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5 % level of probability according to Hanafiah, (2005) was realized using the excel program. Growth and yield parameters recorded at different stages of crop growth and development. There were plant height, leaves number above the ear, leaves number under the ear, tassel emergence, silk emergence, physiologically ripe age, ear lenghth, ear weight, ear circumference, ear weight per plot, kernel weight, kernel weight per plot, 100-grain weight, and protein content. The result showed that no significant different affected by the defferent NPK application rates on these accession. Base on the character selection, the yielding of all accession were higher than Bisma variety. Content of the accession were 11,14 ; 10,25 ; 10,95 ; and 10,10 mg g-1 for V1, V2, V3, and V4, respectively. Keywords: NPK Fertilizer; Maize accession; Production [INDONESIAN] Penelitian dilakukan di lahan Desa Kumendung Kecamatan Muncar Kabupaten Banyuwangi pada bulan November 2012 hingga Febuari 2013. Tujuan dari percobaan ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa Aksesi jagung, dan mengevaluasi kadar protein yang terkandung didalamnya. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Split Plot dengan tiga ulangan. Petak utama adalah Pupuk NPK (200, 300, 400 kg NPK ha-1) dan sub-plot adalah aksesi jagung (V1 = Srikandi Kuning x Manado Merah, V2 = Bisma x Srikandi Kuning, V3 = Srikandi Kuning x Bisma, dan V4 = Bisma x Manado Merah). Hasil percobaan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varian (ANOVA) dan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf α 5% (Hanafiah, 2005) dengan menggunakan program excel. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun atas dan dibawah tongkol jagung, umur berbunga jantan, umur berbungan betina, umur masak fisiologis, berat tongkol per petak (kg), berat pipilan per petak (kg), berat tongkol per tanaman (g), panjang tongkol isi (cm), lingkar tongkol (cm), berat 100 biji per tanaman (g), dan kandungan protein biji jagung (mg g-1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan yang dicobakan pada parameter yang diamati. Perlakuan penambahan pupuk NPK tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada semua parameter. Berdasarkan pemilihan karakter, semua aksesi terpilih lebih tinggi dibanding varietas Bisma. Kandungan protein rata-rata aksesi yang diuji yaitu 11,14 ; 10,25 ; 10,95 ; dan 10,10 mg g-1 masing-masing untuk V1, V2, V3, dan V4. Abstract

This research is about the effect of teacher teaching style on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students of Khadijah Surabaya Elementary School. The purpose of this researh was to determine the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers, to determine the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students, and to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students. The research method used was quantitative research, the type of correlational research. The total population in this study was 123 students with a total sample of 95 students. Data collection techniques used was a questionnaire with the number of questions 23 variable X questions and 15 valid variable Y questions with a reliable value of 0.893 (variable X) and 0.783 (variable Y). Data analysis techniques used was the Pearson product moment test. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers was classical 31.58%, technologically 38.95%, personalization 7.37%, and interactional 22.1%, 2) visual-spatial intelligence of 72 fourth grade students (75.8%) were in the high category, 22 students (23.2%) were in the medium category, and 1 student (1.1%) was in the low category, 3) The teaching style of the teacher had moderate influence on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students with a correlation coefficient of 0.521 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.01. This research hopes to shed some light for researchers, teachers, and schools to apply teaching styles that are in accordance with students' visual-spatial intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of motivation on teacher performance is moderated by the leadership of the Principal The study was conducted on all civil servant in UPTD Dikpora Sayung Demak district, with a minimum working period of 6 years with a sample 167 respondents. Data sources are the primary data and sample measurement using a Likert scale with five alternative answers. This research in the form of explanatory research that aims to prove the analysis of all the variables studied. Motivation positive and significant effect on the performance of elementary school teachers Sayung District Demak regency. Leadership of the principal negative effect on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Sayung Demak regency. School culture positive and significant effect on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Sayung Demak regency. Leadership moderate motivation with teacher performance and a significant positive effect on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Sayung Demak regency. Abstract

 Abstract            This study aims to promote creativity and student learning outcomes 2 Bae fourth grade second semester of academic year 2016/2017 on subjects Civics material  Know the State institutions at the central level  through a model of Learning Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Assisted Media Poste r To achieve these objectives, This research was designed in two cycles. The procedure in each cycle includes the stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection.The effectiveness of actions in each cycle is measured from the results of observations described, interpreted, and then reflected to determine corrective actions in the next cycle.Action research conducted in two cycles obtained results in the first cycle, the creativity observation results reached a score of 3.0 with a value of 75 with enough predicate and on the learning outcomes of 21 students there were already 12 students or 58% achieved the specified completeness while the remaining 9 students or 42% have not yet reached completion. The highest score obtained by students is 100 while the lowest score is 60, the average student learning outcomes are 75. The average increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle is 9.3% of the average pre-cycle achievement. Cycle II data on the results of observations of creativity reached a score of 3.3 with a score of 83 with a good predicate and learning outcomes showed that of 21 students there were 20 students or 95% had achieved predetermined completeness while the remaining 1 child or 5% had not reached completeness. The highest value obtained by students is 100 while the lowest value is 70. The average student learning outcomes are 83. The increase in learning outcomes that occurred in the second cycle is 9.6%Based on the actions taken, it can be concluded that the application of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Learning Model Assisted by Media Posters , can improve the creativity and achievement of fourth grade students of SD 2 Bae in the second semester of 2016/2017 academic year in the subject of Civics Knowing the State Institutions at the Central Level  . an increase in student learning creativity will bring influence to the increased achievement of students.Keyword : TGT, creativity, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan anggaran pada Dinas Kesehatan Kota Sorong, sebagai kualitas pelayanan kesehatan melalui program bantuan operasional kesehatan (BOK). Kajian ini menitik beratkan pada jenis data kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian pustaka dan penelitian lapangan. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yaitu laporan rincian kerja anggaran dan laporan realisasi anggaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alokasi anggaran memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pelayanan kesehatan. Apabila terjadi penambahan pada nilai alokasi anggaran, maka nilai kualitas pelayanan juga akan bertambah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together mengacu pada belajar kelompok siswa, masing-masing anggota memiliki bagian tugas (pertanyaan) dengan nomor yang berbeda-beda. Sintaks model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together yaitu: (1) fase 1 penomoran; (2) fase 2 mengajukan pertanyaan; (3) fase 3 berpikir bersama; (4) fase 4 menjawab. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen jenis pre-exprerimental desaign, bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas 3 yang hasnya 1 kelas dengan jumlah 21 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes dan metode observasi. Teknis analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis.Hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh bahwa signifikan 0,000 yang artinya lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan yang ditentukan 0,05. Selanjutnya, hasil belajar siswa menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh bahwa signifikan 0,001 yang artinya lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan yang ditentukan 0,05. Jadi terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian kelas III SD Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah khususnya materi operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian sehingga hasil belajar siswa meningkat.
