Abstract

This study aims to show the problem of tourism in Indonesia. Tourism is one of many sectors which can provide benefits to a country both in economic and cultural aspects. France is one of the countries with the highest tourist visit rates in the world, a possibility to Indonesia to have advantages cooperate with France. This research theoretically has built using the perspective of pluralism in Internasional Relations and supported by International cooperation theory. Formulation of all arguments, data, facts, and theoretical frameworks in this study using the method of qualitative explanation. This research also use nation-states as a level of analysis.This study aims to describe the collaborative efforts of Indonesia and France that have strategic partnership relationship within the frameworks of the joint working group on tourism cooperation can improve tourism in Indonesia. France is a developed country in the field of tourism, for that Indonesia needs to learn from tourism management in France. Furthermore, the biggest foreign tourists coming to Indonesia come from France. Through this Joint Working Group On Tourism, effort to improve tourism in Indonesia can be realized. Abstract

This research explain about Indonesia?s interest to working together with Zoological Society of London (ZSL) in Berbak Carbon Initiative (BCI) project in Berbak National Park. Berbak National Park in Jambi is the largest conservation peat swamp forests area in Southeast Asia and entered as a Ramsar site in 1992. National Parks Berbak saving 45 million tonnes of carbon and absorptive capacity of 70 million tons CO²e. In case of damage, the area will release the greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide (CO²e) into the air amounted to 34.4 million CO2e within a period of 30 years. BCI project commit to preserve ecosystems in global warming emissions reduction program is embodied in the protection of the National Park Berbak, encourage the conservation of forests and wildlife in it, and the economic empowerment of local communities in accordance scheme REDD + program. The economic potential of the sale of forest carbon emissions in Berbak National Park is estimated at USD 167 278 020, equivalent to 1.51 trillion over 30 years or 50 billion per-year, when it traded through the "Voluntary Market" (voluntary market). Abstract

This research tries to explain how the diplomacy conducted by Indonesia in the SouthChina Sea dispute resolution. Where this dispute involves many countries both within theASEAN region and outside the ASEAN region so it is feared can disrupt the stability in theregion, and impact on the interests of Indonesia.This research uses the perspective of neorealism, neorealism is a new form of realism,neorealisme more emphasis on cooperation and role of institutions - both government andnon-government institutions in international relations. This research uses diplomacy theory,soft diplomacy, and preventive diplomacy.The South China Sea dispute has been going on for more than twenty years, someways of settling have been tried both between disputed countries and internationalorganizations such as ASEAN, but still not effective. Indonesia as an ASEAN member countryand a country bordering on the South China Sea who is also a natural leader within theASEAN region realizes that a protracted dispute will have a devastating impact on the regionand the interests of Indonesia itself. Therefore, Indonesia took part in the process of settlingSouth China Sea dispute, this can be seen from the diplomacy conducted by Indonesia,namely through first track diplomacy and second track diplomacy.Keywords: South China Sea, Dispute, Diplomacy Indonesia

Abstract

This research analyzes the United State (US) motivation to implement VisaWaiver Program in South Korea at 2008. South Korea has bilateral relationshipwith US since post war world II. South Korea has proposed to become visawaiverprogram participants since 2005. But, both countries signed the VWPMemorandum of Understanding in 2008. This study is a qualitative researchmethod that used nation-state level analysis. The writer used the concept ofnational interest and international cooperation theory. The writer concluded thatUS motivation to apply visa waiver program for South Korea is to increase the USeconomy and international tourism.Keyword: International Cooperation, Visa Waiver Program, National Interest,International tourism.

Abstract

This research explains about the effect of free flow of goods as a form of schedule blueprint strategies for the scheme towards the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) on the development of Indonesias trade to Siangapura. ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015 will open up more opportunities for free flow of goods, services, investment, capital to labor through out the ASEAN region. On one hand, implementation of free flow of goods ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) would provide opportunities for expanding and intensifying Indonesia. The efforts to expand and intensify export to ASEAN market would give optimum result if it is accompanied by promoting cooperation among industries in ASEAN through regional production network. On the other hand, free flow of goods ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) would also become a threat for Indonesia and domestic market if businessmen as well as government have not prepared yet for this new era competition in ASEAN. Since ASEAN member countries produce almost similar products, the challenge for businessmen is to produce competitive products based on differentiation, efficiency and innovation.This research uses the perspective of liberalism that supports the international economy based on free trade, because it involves the cooperation in the field of trade between Indonesia and Singapore. The data sources used in this research are books, journals, working papers, and valid news from websites.Implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint will have implications on the economy of Indonesia and ASEAN in terms of macro-economic conditions or competition between the regions visible from local revenues, state investment allocation and composition of international trade.Keywords: Blueprint, Economic Integration, Cooperation, Trade.

Abstract

This study will discuss the role of the World Bank in support of the privatization of thewater sector in Indonesia. Commencement of water privatization in Indonesia in 1998 at theinitiative of the World Bank offer loans. Water resources sector reform process began in 1999.This process begins with setting up the new water resources law to replace the Water Act. DraftWater Management Act emerged as a prerequisite World Bank loan. Data collection techniquesused in this study is a multi case study. linking theory with data obtained through the researchlibrary (library research). data obtained from books, journals, magazines, newspapers and othersources (document analysis). I also use the internet facility in the process of data collectionrelated and relevant to the issues discussed in this study.The author uses the theory of international organizations. International organizationscan be interpreted as a formal bond that transcends national boundaries are set to form aninstitution in order to facilitate cooperation between the parties involved in the various fields.Implementation explain the concept of economic privatization privatization in many countries isseen as a strengthening of the market in the economic structure of the country. Privatization isan attempt to restore economic activity to the private sector by reducing government interferencein the national economy.Under pressure from the World Bank, the Indonesian government together with theWorld Bank since 1998 put together a program structuring of water in Indonesia is draftinglegislation Water Resources in which the set of policies in the management of the water sectorinclude regulatory and institutional framework, management watersheds and irrigation. Ifpreviously the private sector is only involved in the exploitation and management of drinkingwater, water resources law allows the private sectors role in all areas of water, of water supply,drinking water, until the fulfillment of the raw water for agriculture.Keywords: water privatization Indonesia, the World Bank, international organization theory, the conceptof economic privatization, water resources law.

Abstract

This paper will analyze the strategy of Toyota Motor Corporation as the largest automotive manufacturer that originated from Japan in increasing sales and its image in China . Since the end of 2008 . Toyota is committed to remain a brand that is recognized internationally in terms of both quality and quantity . However, various competition and expansion makes Toyota should be able to develop and implement new strategies in the management of the company . So is the case when Toyota compete with other automobile manufacturers in China .In analyzing the existing problems , the authors used qualitative research methods that are explanative . The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach . I also use the theory relating to the cases. The perspective that I use is a liberal perspective . The author uses a liberal perspective to understand the strategies used Toyota . This research would then use the group level of analysis . The theory used is the author of the theory of the International Organization Theory and Competitive Advantage Theory.in this paper , the authors have the following results toyota managed to improve their corporate image . Abstract

Kopi Luwak (Luwak Coffee) is one of the original in the internal affairs of Indonesia (natural given). Luwak Coffee is coffee indigenous diracik coffee bean derived from a group that has been chosen selectively and consumed by Luwak (paradox harmaproditus) or better known as asian palm civet. The purpose of this research is to know strategy The Government of Indonesia to improve competitive luwak coffee in global market and the factors that affect strategy the government of Indonesia to increase competition in the global market luwak coffee.The data collected by using technical research library research (literature), data internet, and interview technique source. The three used as the effort to get more valid research results, with the process data can complement each other and to each other, so that researchers also can be understood to these issues, and have a certain satisfaction.Internationally, Indonesia as a country coffee producers to 3 in the world after Brazil and Vietnam plays a vital roles in the global market. Abstract

The Asia-Pacifics Coral Triangle is defined by its extremely high marinebiodiversity. Over one hundred million people living in its coastal zones use thisbiodiversity to support their livelihoods. Hundreds of millions more derive nutritious fooddirectly from the region′s marine resources and through local, regional and global trade.Biodiversity and its values to society are threatened by demographic and habitat change,rising demand, intensive harvesting and climate change. In partnership withinternational conservation organizations and development funders, the governments ofthe region′s six countries have come together to develop the Coral Triangle Initiative(CTI) on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security. The focus of this research isAustralia role on CTI, related to the fact that Australia is not of the part CT state, butcommited very actively and maximum for the CTI - CFF. This research uses InternationalOrganization theory which has been revealed by Peter J. Katzenstein, Robert Keohaneand Stephen D. Krasner. This research is qualitative research which is used by libraryobservation. The result of this research prove that full commitment Australia in CTI –CFF is motivated by desire to 1) spread and strengther Australia hegemon in Pacificregion; 2) enchancing and exploring global image in marine research (megadiversity);3) maintain the ecosystme in the Great Barrier Reef.Keywords: CTI-CFF, Coral Triangle, Australia in CTI – CFF, Megadiversity.
