Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pembuatan antena mikrostrip dengan frekuensi kerja 900 MHz untuk jaringan GSM (Global System For Mobile Communication). Antena mikrostrip berbentuk persegi panjang dengan substrat epoxy fiberglass yang memiliki konstanta dielektrik 4.8. Parameter yang harus diperhatikan dalam merancang adalah pola radiasi antena, gain, VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), bandwidth, dan impedansi masukan. Dalam penelitian ini dirancang antena microstrip pada frekuensi 900 MHz. Dengan parameter gain 7,83 dB, VSWR 1,29, bandwidth 10 MHz dan impedansi input 62,57 + j7,01Ω. Simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak MMANAGAL V.1.20.20.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangankan teknologi pengolahan citra medis terutama citra medis CT Scan penderita stroke. Dokter dalam menentukan tingkat keparahan pasien stroke biasanya menggunakan citra medis CT scan dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menginterpretasikan luasan cakupan perdarahan.Solusi yang digunakan dengan peregangan kontras yang akan membedakan jaringan sel, tulang tengkorak dan jenis perdarahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan peregangan kontras dari hasil citra CT Scan yang dihasilkan dengan terlebih dahulu mengubah Citra DICOM menjadi citra JPEG dengan menggunakan bantuan program ImageJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode histogram ekualisasi dan analisis tekstur statistik dapat digunakan untuk membedakan yang normal MRI dan abnormal MRI yang terdeteksi stroke. Abstract

 Nowadays medical science has developed rapidly, diagnostic and treatment techniques have provided life expectancy for patients. One way of examining brain tumor sufferers is radiological examination that needs to be done, including MRI with contrast. MRI brain images are useful for seeing tumors in the initial steps of diagnosis and are very good for classification, erosions / destruction lesions of the skull. Smoothing image processing, segmentation with otsu method and feature extraction are carried out to facilitate the training and testing process. This study, will apply texture analysis with the parameters contrast, correlation, energy, homogenity to distinguish the texture of brain tumor images and normal so as to produce a standard gold value based on existing texture characteristics. Training and testing of texture features using backpropagation method of artificial neural networks with variations in learning rate values so that it is expected to obtain a classification of the image conditions of patients with brain tumors. The data used are 29 brain images that produce classification accuracy of 96.55%.Keywords :  MRI images, brain tumors, textur, backprogation

Abstract

Kompresi video digital sangat dibutuhkan pada media video digital untuk menghemat ruang penyimpanan dan bandwidth yang besar tanpa mengurangi kualitasvideo yang terlalu signifikan. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah media kompresi yang mampu mengurangi ukuran file video agar lebih efisien.Untuk merancang media kompresi video pada penelitian ini digunakan bahasa pemrograman C# dengan format keluaran file video berupa .MP4 dan MKV. Hasil kompresi dianalisa nilai MSE dan PSNR pada frame  pertama.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai PSNR berada pada kisaran 30dB sampai 50dB sesuai standar yang diperbolehkan ITU-T 2014.Kata kunci : kompresi, video, PSNR.

Abstract

Abstract— Wireless Sensor Network has some weaknesses,such as limited power, memory and communication. Sensor issupplied with a very limited power batery. Besides, WirelessSensor Network should also consider the available bandwidth,range sensor and sensor communication range. The mainobjective of this study is to analyze the performance of lineardemodulation named Zero Forcing (ZF) and Minimum MeanSquared Error (MMSE) in wireless sensor network using MultipleInput and Multiple Output (MIMO) system with Signal to NoiseRatio (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER) as the parameter tomeasure the performance of endurance to noise. The applicationof ZF and MMSE linear demodulation with MIMOconfiguration to Wireless Sensor Network is constantly good, theperformance of ZF to reach BER 10-3 needed SNR 21 dB, whilethe performance of MMSE to reach BER 10-3 needed SNR 18 dB.Intisari—Jaringan sensor nirkabel memiliki beberapakelemahan antara lain keterbatasan daya, memori dankomunikasi. Sensor dicatu oleh baterai yang mempunyai dayayang sangat terbatas. Selain itu jaringan sensor nirkabel jugaharus memperhatikan ketersediaan bandwidth, range sensor danrange komunikasi sensor. Tujuan utama pada penelitian iniadalah menganalisa kinerja demodulasi linier yaitu ZeroForcing (ZF) dan Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) padajaringan sensor nirkabel menggunakan sistem Multiple Input danMultiple Output (MIMO) dengan parameter yang digunakanuntuk mengukur kinerja akan ketahanan terhadap noise adalahSignal to Noise Ratio (SNR) dan Bit Error Rate (BER). Penerapandemodulasi linier ZF dan MMSE dengan konfigurasi MIMOyang diterapkan pada Jaringan Sensor Nirkabel ternyata tetapbagus, kinerja ZF untuk mencapai nilai BER 10-3 dibutuhkanSNR 21 dB, sedangkan kinerja MMSE untuk mencapai nilaiBER 10-3 dibutuhkan SNR 18 dB.

Abstract

Induction motors are widely used in the industrial world because they have many advantages, including construction that is very simple and strong, cheap, has high efficiency, quite good power factor, and maintenance is easier. Besides the advantages of induction motors also have weaknesses, one of the disadvantages of an induction motor is not being able to maintain its speed constantly if there is a change in load. If there is a change in load, the speed of the induction motor will decrease. One method of regulating the speed of an induction motor developed in addition to vector control is the Direct Torque Control (DTC) method. The DTC control technique allows direct and separate flux and torque settings and can be done without using a speed sensor. The estimated rotor rotation, torque and flux is carried out by the DTC which is inputted with stator voltage and current. To achieve the desired flux and torque estimation is used as feedback on the control system. In this final assignment, the speed regulation of the induction motor will be simulated using the DTC method using Matlab. The results obtained through the simulation show the length of time to reach the reference speed for speeds of 500rpm and 1000 rpm is around 0.5 seconds. Abstract

Optimal teaching or learning activities require a conducive and quiet environment because the high concentration required on its’ process. Campus area requires a quiet and silent environment. It is difficult for the urban areas to get a quiet campus environment. The study tries to reveal the evaluation on how the noise factors that occur during teaching and learning process. The study was conducted at Semarang University. The research method used is descriptive analytic method. Research shows that the building of engineering faculty (the A building) at Semarang University shows the proper noise level in line with the standard (School Acoustic Quality Standards). Besides, Semarang University must establish rules and policies to control the noise levels, to intensify the comfort of the lecture process. Based on the research results, the noise level on the Engineering faculty building of Semarang University has not been in line with the predetermined standard, which is more than (55 dB).Keywords: noise, lecture activities, acoustic quality standards of school buildings

Abstract

Design of Smart Home Automatic Control with Communications Via Bluetooth HC-05-Based Microcontroller Arduino and Android, will provide all the comfort, safety, security and energy savings, which takes place automatically and programmed via microcontroller, the house or building. Design of Smart Home Automatic with Control Communications Via Bluetooth HC-05-Based Microcontroller Arduino and Android is intended for automatic control processes. The system consists of seven sensors, keypad password for security doors, HC-05 Bluetooth GSM alarm application and device control applications aktuaktor, and aktuaktor buzzer, dc motors, lights, fans and fan dc exhausting. Among these sensors is a PIR sensor to detect theft, sensor MQ6 to detect leakage of LPG gas and smoke from fires, sensor HC-SR04 ultrasonic for automatic garage doors, fire sensors to detect a fire, the sensor LM35 to detect the temperature of the room, when the room temperature is hot the fan will be on automatically, when the cold room temperature will shut off the fan and LDR sensor to detect the intensity of light during the day which turn the lights off automatically and vice versa, thus saving energy. Homeowners can also control lights and monitoring sensors with android phones that are connected with communication via Bluetooth HC-05 microcontroller arduino, and can receive GSM alarm application sensors such as calling and sms. Test results are used UART communication data transmission between the microcontroller serial monitor monitor has an error of 0 % . HC - 05 Bluetooth can accept orders at the farthest distance of 11 meters . The fire sensor can work well when the fire was 110 cm . Sensor HC - SR04 is already working with an error rate of 0.3 %, so the accuracy of this tool by 100 % - 0.3 % = 99.7 % .Keywords : Security Door , Bluetooth HC - 05 , Microcontroller Arduino and Android , Application Control and Application GSM alarm.
