Abstract

Simpang Exit Tol Salatiga menjadi penghubung antara Jalan Tol Bawen ? Solo dengan Jalan Arteri Semarang ? Solo melalui Jalan Tingkir ? Barukan. Pengoperasian simpang tersebut memungkinkan terjadinya konflik arus lalu lintas, sehingga diperlukan perencanaan simpang yang matang. Untuk dapat merencanakan simpang yang dapat melayani seluruh pergerakan selama tahun rencana, perlu diprediksi volume lalu lintas yang akan melewati simpang ini. Prediksi volume jam puncak dilakukan dengan Metode Gravity, yang mempertimbangkan biaya perjalanan sebagai faktor hambatan. Biaya perjalanan dianalisis berdasarkan BOK (Biaya Operasional Kendaraan). Hasil analisis memperlihatkan volume lalu lintas pada tahun 2035 sebesar 1.986,08 smp/jam (lengan barat), 1.410,75 smp/jam (lengan timur), dan 901,71 smp/jam (lengan timur). Jenis simpang yang digunakan adalah 312 L.  Simpang ini menggunakan 3 fase dengan waktu hijau (gi) sebesar 12 detik (lengan barat), 19 detik (lengan utara) dan 10 detik (lengan timur) dan waktu hilang total (LTI) 9 detik. Kapasitas simpang sebesar 551,31 smp/jam (lengan barat), 1.019, 001 smp/jam (lengan utara) dan 411,398 smp/jam (lengan timur). Tundaan simpang rata-rata 18,38 detik. Derajat kejenuhan pada lengan barat 0,57 ; lengan utara 0,38 ; dan lengan timur 0,49. Panjang antrian pada lengan barat 29,161 m ; lengan utara 19 m ; dan lengan timur 13,18 m.

Abstract

Semarang - Kendal Road section is a connector between the central city of Semarang and Kendal. Traffic flows and accident rates through this street is quite high, especially accidents involving motorcycles. For that, the solution is the implementation of motorcycle lanes. From the analysis results DS in Siliwangi Road Sections is 0,75 and 0,78 in Walisongo Roads with low average speed is 27,58 km /h in Jalan Siliwangi. Analysis results obtained Siliwangi Road motorcycle accident is 70 % and 66 % on Walisongo Road. The proportion of motorcycle on Siliwangi road is 25.25 % - 41.66 % and 18.86 % - 41.43 % on Walisongo Road. Volume motorcycle in Siliwangi Road 1,687 pcu/hour and Walisongo Road 1,231 pcu/hour. Siliwangi Road DS is 0.75 and 0.78 on Walisongo Road. From solutions then selected by the best alternative with DS. Siliwangi road is divided into 4 segments, Segment I is to make the motorcycle lane with a width of 4 m and the other vehicle lane with a width of 8 m. Segment II is to make the motorcycle lane with a width of 4,25 m and the other vehicle lane with a width of 9,75 m. Segment III, this does not allow the roads to be made motorcycle lane because the road has a length of less than 100 m. Segment IV is to make the motorcycle lane with a width of 4 m and the other vehicle lane with a width of 7 m. In the Walisongo roads solution is to makes the motorcycle lane with a width of 4 m, and the other vehicle lane with a width of 7 m. Based on those motorcycle lanes parameters, can be concluded that the Semarang - Kendal Road section required motorcycle lanes with lane separators are markers.

Abstract

Paragon Mall Semarang is the one of the biggest shopping centers in Semarang City. Parking space has been provided since the beginning of mall?s area development, however it is no longer sufficient to meet the current demand. It is proved by the additional parking area in certain times, thus the effectivity of this parking area needs to be assessed more thoroughly. This Study aims to plan the parking space?s availability with sufficient capacity and to give recommendation in implemetation and development of parking space. Methodologies used include: calculation standart capacity based on current guidance, deviation of cumulative graph for calculating current need, space and tariff optimation, and future need calculation. Paragon Mall has 7 dedicated parking areas: 5 car parking areas and 2 motorcycle parking areas. At its peak hours, every area suffered space deficiency although there are some empty space in another parking area. Current parking space deficiency total of car area are only 10 SRPs and no deficiency in sepeda motor area. After optimation is done then the capacity is increased to 1115 SRPs of car and 2030 SRPs of sepeda motorcycle that is sufficient in the next 7 years or until year 2022. Tariff optimation is done to get progressive tariff therfore the visitors would not linger and eventually the space might serve more visitors. Space optimation on parking area layout and tariff should also be supported by management system. The overall amount of current parking space?s availibility shortage is 10 SRPs of car. After performing space and tariff optimization, the capacity is 1115 SRPs of car and 2030 SRPs of sepeda motorcycle that will last for the next 2 years i.e. up to 2017.Parking area?s layout of Paragon Mall Semarang with space and tariff optimization should also be supported by existing parking management system. Overall, Paragon?s parking area is only experiencing a minimum shortage.. To overcome the possibility of uneven accumulation in particular parking, solution that can be given is installing information panel which shows available parking space of all parking lot at the entrance to Paragon Mall Semarang.

Abstract

Western Region of Semarang beside as center of business, it also as the center of public services so at the peak period the volume of vehicle in some road getting increase. The increase of vehicle?s volume will cause traffic jam. Roads with the traffic jam potential is Sugiyopranoto, Imam Bonjol, and Pemuda. Then the idea of one way traffic management proposed with the purpose to determine the traffic performance at existing condition and provide a recommendation about the better traffic regulation. Observation such as traffic survey has been done on roads and intersections in road network in the west region of Semarang. Analysis of traffic performance based on Indonesia?s Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) 1997 with an analysis of existing saturated conditions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon, and evening as a benchmark for short-term design. One way traffic management that applied are the change of green time at the signalized intersection, the route, traffic diversion by the application of the one way traffic chain on the road network, traffic facilities, and geometric. The analysis result of roads and intersection in the region shows the performance with degree of saturation >0,75. The ideal limit is ? 0,75. The result of the intersection analysis also showed unsatisfactory performance. The degree of saturation is high and delay time of intersection still large.so the one way traffic management applied on the Sugiyopranoto road, the entire segment of Imam Bonjol Road, The entire segment of Pemuda road, and Pierre Tendean road. The intersection changes is by removing the signal of Poncol intersection and Tendean intersection. Several signal at Tugumuda intersection suchas signal from Sugiyopranoto, signal from Pemuda, and the signal in front of Sutomo also removed. The results of the analysis for one-way condition showed better performance. The traffic flow is also distributed optimally. The based parameter is the change of speed and pace time that can be felt directly by road users. The design for the implementation of one-way traffic system can be said good for the treatment of short-term problems. The conclusion that can be drawn is the performance of roads and intersections in the West Region Semarang get better when applied to one-way traffic management.

Abstract

Optimalization of rural public transit is needed to improve people?s prosperity, especially for those who live in remote rural area. Rural public infrastructure nowadays hasn?t been optimized properly by the government yet, proven by a few number of region which already has urged rural transportation infrastructure. This research aims to select the location of rural public transit system development in Central Java according to priorities. This research focuses on the region which has had the interregion rural public transit system route already. The analysis of developing system of rural public transit defines the location priority by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and recommends its road typical. To determine location priority uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Determination of criteria based on the results of questionnaires distributed to the expert. The criteria are total area, the number of demand, population density, LQ index of rural public transit availability, the number of trip distribution, primary-food volume, the number of rural public transportation supply, and the number of vehicles-owner. Utility assessment is done by using secondary data. From these two steps, location priority will be determined. The last step is identified whether it is necessary or not to advance its road typical based on the Region Land Use Planning as mentioned in the valid regulation. The result shows that the most significant factor in determining the rural public transit system development is the number of demand which gets 25,7%. The result clearly shows that Brebes and Tegal has been admitted as the most priority region of rural public transit system development. Amongst of all the routes of interregion rural public transit, there are two routes which should be advanced its typical road: Boyolali-Sragen route and Sukoharjo-Boyolali route. The conclusion of this research is there is still a few of region on Central Java which already has the interregion rural public transit system route ?only nine regions. The government should support another region to supply this route access.

Abstract

Road of Semarang ? Godong is a type of road 2/2 UD currently under repair and greatly affected the result of the open ? closed system, so the road was made the object of research. The aim of the research was to analyze the characteristics of the traffic, looking for the relationship between the volume of arrivals ? long queues ? the length of the work zone and reviewing traffic management system in the work zone. Analyze that done are analyze on existing condition and traffic management system with a length of 1,070 km using the method of the approach to the junction signal with two phases on MKJI 1997. This analysis also simulated on the variant length of the work zone. The results showed an analysis of existing conditions with observations data each cycle can?t proceed, so analysis only use data classification. The system settings can minimize the length of the traffic queues and the degree of saturation. From the results of the simulation of different length work zone obtained a value of DS and the minimum of the queue length 0.2 km. Other results obtained is increasingly large flows of arrival on-site queue getting longer, but the rate of increase in the existing conditions in the queue is larger compared to the results of the analysis of the traffic management system. Further research is required related factors on damage to roads and the length of the segment that is most optimal. To streamline traffic settings can use APILL portable or using more appropriate implementation method.

Abstract

Ibis Hotel and Candi Land Apartment located at Diponegoro street currently are built into the new residential alternative in Semarang. This will trigger trip generation in the future, thus will increase congestion in the area. Therefore, it is important to assess the impact of the hotel and apartement operations. This study aims to predict the trip generation, evaluate the performance of the existing road network, predict the performance of the network after the operation of Ibis Hotel and Candi Land Apartment and propose the solutions to encounter the conditions. Analyses of the performance of segments, signalized intersection and roundabout refer to IHCM 1997. Trip generation prediction of hotel and apartment refer to Department of Transportation regulation. Based on the analysis, Ibis Hotel and Candi Land Apartment trip generation amounted to 341 pcu/hour. The existing degree of saturation (DS) of the nearest road segments are 1.40 on Sriwijaya street, 1.64 on Diponegoro street, 1.00 on Veteran street, 0.57 on Pahlawan street, 0.85 on Kawi street, 0.84 on Sultan Agung street, and 1.55 on S. Parman street. The degree of saturation of Pahlawan intersection is 1.92 (North). Thus, the degree of saturation of Diponegoro Park roundabout is 1,00 (CD inweave Diponegoro street ? Kawi street). After the operation of Ibis Hotel and Candi Land Apartment, the degree of saturation of Pahlawan intersection will increase up to 6,97%. The Degree os saturation of Diponegoro Park roundabout will also increase for about 5,12%. The proposed solution on Pahlawan intersection are to make Veteran street a one way road leaving the intersection and reset the green time. This treatment will decrease the degree of saturation up to 21 ? 32 %. The proposed solution on the nearest road segments are to widen the road segments that cause a decrease on the degree of saturation for about 17-31%. Whilst, the proposed solution for Diponegoro Roundabout is to give road signs which are expected to reduce conflict on the weaving area.

Abstract

Malioboro as one of  most tourism destination in Yogyakarta has a large number of visitors.  More than 4,000 people visiting  Malioboro area per day. The number of visitors at  pedestrian area  resulting inability Malioboro to receive such capacity. For  resolve these problems,  an  evaluation  of the service is needed more pedestrian capacity  (level of service). so that visitors will know about Malioboro growth in the future. and  The reference can being recommendation  as handling problems that occur at Malioboro street. The survey  undertaken are pedestrian  survey. Pedestrian survey is aimed to obtain  number of tourists data  in Malioboro pedestrians . The survey were conducted in three-point locations who can represent characters of  Malioboro, in front of the Hotel Inna Garuda,  Malioboro Mall and  Sami Jaya. The analysis is carried out to the HCM 2000. The result  of pedestrian survey are  Level of Service value. Base on the parking income data the growth rate of pedestrian area is about 5.2% . in the next five years the Level of Service will be bad with Level of service D. this mean there is a crowded situation in pedestrian area. overcome these problems we need  rearrangement pedestrian area  along Malioboro street  and make a planning analysis to resolve this issue hopefully can accommodating  Malioboro area for next 5 years in Pedestrian area with  Level of Service (LOS) B.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Shopping Mall Transmart merupakan pusat perbelanjaan pertama  di Semarang yang dibangun dengan konsep one stop shopping atau 4 in 1 (Belanja, Bersantap, Bermain dan Menonton). Jumlah lot parkir yang disediakan belum dapat menampung semua kendaraan yang datang pada akhir pekan atau hari libur nasional. Permasalahan tersebut dikarenakan penataan ruang parkir yang belum optimal sehingga perlu dikaji lebih mendalam tentang penataan ruang parkir tersebut baik untuk masa sekarang maupun 5 tahun mendatang. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi: perhitungan kapasitas standar parkir, perhitungan kebutuhan parkir sekarang, optimasi sirkulasi dan ruang, optimasi gardu, prediksi kebutuhan parkir dan kinerja gardu untuk 5 tahun. Shopping Mall Transmart memiliki ruang parkir yang terdiri dari ruang parkir motor dan ruang parkir mobil yang terpisah. Berdasarkan jenis dan fungsi bangunan, Shopping Mall Transmart kebutuhan ruang parkirnya sebesar 369 SRP motor dan 433 SRP mobil. Setelah dilakukan penanganan dengan cara optimasi sirkulasi dan ruang, kapasitas hanya bertambah 25 SRP motor dan 18 SRP mobil sehingga diperlukan penanganan lanjutan yaitu dengan membangun gedung parkir baru yang juga merupakan bagian dari solusi untuk masa mendatang. Kemudian dilakukan prediksi jumlah kebutuhan parkir untuk 5 tahun ke depan hingga tahun 2023. Berdasarkan hasil prediksi tersebut maka jumlah kapasitas parkir yang harus disediakan hingga tahun 2023 adalah sebesar 424 SRP motor dan 497 SRP mobil. Mengingat lahan terbatas maka perlu disediakan gedung parkir 3 lantai yang memiliki kapasitas sebesar 437 SRP motor dan 520 SRP mobil.  Optimasi gardu dilakukan pada gardu yang mengalami antrian yaitu pada gardu masuk mobil dan gardu keluar motor. Gardu masuk mobil dioptimasi dengan cara optimasi sirkulasi dan ruang parkir, sedangkan gardu keluar motor dioptimasi dengan penanganan kondisional yaitu membuka gardu keluar lain bagi motor yaitu menggunakan gardu keluar mobil KFC karena antrian terjadi hanya pada jam puncak weekday. Prediksi kinerja gardu dilakukan hingga tahun 2023 dan menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan optimasi gardu, kinerja semua gardu menjadi optimal dan tidak terjadi antrian karena nilai tingkat kegunaan (?) masih di bawah nilai 1.

Abstract

Hairpin curve is an accident prone location. The number of accidents on curve 1,5 to 4 times much more than on straight road. This study aimed to evaluate the geometric conditions on some curve that is reviewed by applicable geometric rules, to determine the characteristics of the accidents, to determine the relationship of modeling the causes of accidents, to determine the main factors causing traffic accidents, and provide troubleshooting recommendations. The analysis that is carried out are analysis of geometric condition evaluation, accident characteristics analysis, and cross tabulation analysis. Based on the evaluation of the geometric conditions, on all of the third curves there are not reach the technical standards because under minimum curve radius and the value of SMS of sample vehicle variety more than SS curve calculation speed limit nearly reach 50%. Based on the characteristics of accidents, on the third curves showed that the dominant factor causing accidents is human factor (70%). The results of study relationship between curve radius and degree of fatality indicate the value of R Square 0,859, meanwhile relationship between speed and degree of fatality indicate the value of R Square 0,91. The sum of the analysis showed the main factor causing traffic accidents is human factor specificly to the speed factor and then continued by curve radius factor. Several attempts types of treatment that can be applied is to install speed limit signs in some specific locations, make rumble strips before entering the hairpin curves.
