Abstract

This research aim to find the differences between the results of learning psychomotor skills ofphysics students to the concept of straight-line motion in the X class students MA Dar El Hikmahpekabaru between cooperative learning Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This researchis the research study design experiments with the Posttest-Only Control Design. XB1-class researchsample as a class experiment I with the application of cooperative learning model Think-Pair-Square and class XB2 as a class experiment II with the application of cooperative learning TwoStay Two Sstray. Instrument data collection in this research are to learn psychomotor test resultsare analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Deskritif analysis obtained from theexperimental class I absorption average is 84.6% of students with a good category, exhaustivenessclassical learning students with 87.5% complete and exhaustiveness category subject matter is100% with complete categories. In the experimental class II absorption average is 85.9% ofstudents with a good category, effektiveness lesson is 85.9% with effective category, theexhaustiveness of students to study classical category of 91.6% with complete and completeness oflearning material is 100% by category thoroughly. With inferential after the data obtained arenormally distributed and homogeneous through the test for normality and homogenity test resultsobtained that the hypothetical accept, so there is no difference significan on student learningoutcomes through learning model Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This can be seenthrough the t test was called t calculated <t table or 0.515 <1.679 by SPSS version 16.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan Lembaran KerjaMahasiswa (LKM) berbasis penemuan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian preeksperimen ini dengan rancangan intact group comparison dilakukan dengan cara membagi mahasiswaatas dua kelompok belajar yang homogen. Kemudian secara acak ditentukan kelas eksperimen denganmenggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumenpengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembaran pengamatan, angket respon mahasiswa dan tes hasilbelajar. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara memberikan tes hasil belajar kepada mahasiswasetelah pembelajaran. Pengamatan terhadap kerja mahasiswa dilakukan saat proses pembelajarandengan menggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan dan pada akhir pembelajaran diberikan angket responmahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriftif dengan cara tabulasi dan persentase. Hasil peneltianini menunjukkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan lebih tinggidari hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan tanpa LKM. Hasil penilaian kerja mahasiswa pada kategori baik,dan 95% mahasiswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap penggunaan LKM berbasis penemuan.Dengan demikian penggunaan LKM berbasis penemuan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajarmahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika pada mata kuliah gelombang.Kata kunci:LKM berbasis penemuan, hasil belajar, Gelombang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research has described learning result of physics science skill process byapplying integrated learning model to first year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru on topic object,motion, and microscope. This research involved an experiment research. The subject of this research wasfirst year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru at academic year 2007/2008 in totally 32 student. Thetechnique of collecting data by using test of physics science skill process. The technique of data analysis byusing descriptive analysis. Data analysis showed that abortive power is 74 % with good category, learneffectiveness can be categorized in effective enough, but completeness of student?s learns is not complet.Hence, integrated learning model is effective enough to first year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaruon topic object, motion, and microscope.Key words : integrated learning model, learning result, skill process

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to produce e-module based science literacy that is feasible to use. The subject of this research is e-module based science literacy on electromagnetic radiation lesson. This research used Research and Development method with type 4D. Stages of developing this e-module based science literacy include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used is the Science Literacy Validation Scoring Sheets. The validation results of e-module based science literacy on electromagnetic radiation lesson from all aspects have a percentage 86.96% with very decent category. Thus, e-module of physics learning based on science literacy is feasible to be used as a supporting teaching material, as well as basic teaching materials on electromagnetic radiation lesson for grade XII of Senior High School students.Keywords: E-module, Science Literacy, Electromagnetic Radiation

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to determine the increase in students’ communicative character through the implementation of Snowball Throwing learning model on the states of matter and the density. The research subjects were 38 students in class VII7 SMPN 20 Pekanbaru. The design of this research was a pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection Instruments in this research was students communicative character questionnaire consisting of 17 Statements. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and improvement N-gain. The results showed increase on communicative character descriptor is 0,37 with predicate medium. So, it can be concluded that science physics learning applying Snowball Throwing learning model effective to improve the students communicative character in calss VII7 SMP 20 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Communicative Character, Snowball Throwing

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to analiyze students High Order Thinking Skills in solving HOTS questions. The method used in this study in survey research to provide an overview of the patterns and levels of class X HOTS of students onbusiness and energy material. The subjects of this study were66 students in class X high school in the Tampan district of Pekanbaru.The research instrument used wasa matter of bussines and energy HOTS. Data collection techniques by providing instrument HOTS to class X students who have studied bussines and energy materials. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the instrument HOTS are able to analyze High Order Thinking Skills of class X students in all the Tampan district of Pekanbaru with an average in the unvavorable category.Key Words: HighOrder Thinking Skills Students, Test intruments HOTS, Effort and Energy

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to describe and differentiate the cognitive learning physics through the implementation of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning for the material of optical instruments in the class of VIII SMPN 34 Pekanbaru. Population in this research is all of VIII classes with 199 students. Meanwhile the samples are 40 students in VIII2 as control class and 39 students in VIII3 as experiment class. The instrument of data collection in this study is a cognitive performance test which consists of 25 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performance of the physics cognitive learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a cognitive learning considerably using independent samples t-test of SPSS 20 program. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the class is 83.79% of the higher in category, and declared effective learning efficiently. The value of t tests is t (69.1) = 2,000, p = 0.049 means p &lt;0.05, then Ho is rejected. Which means that there are differences in cognitive test result between students in experiment class that taught using cooperative learning firing line strategies and control class that uses conventional learning with a level of 95%. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of the firing line strategy can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom VIII SMPN 34 Pekanbaru.Key words : Cognitive result test, the firing line strategy, optical instruments.2

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in interest in learning physics science students of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru through the implementation of cooperative learning with the a firing line and to know the interest to learn physics science eighth grade students of SMP 34 Pekanbaru between the implementation of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning with learning conventional. The subjects were students of class VIII2 which 40 students and VIII3 with 39 students. In conducting the research, the researcher used Quasi Eksperimental Design as the method of research with Nonequivalent Control Group design. Data collection instrument in this research was a questionnaire interest in learning physics science students consisting of 26 statements. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques to see increased student interest of the gain and inferential analysis to see significant value. The results of this research indicate students interest increased by 0.14 in the low category. It can be concluded that the application of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning can increase students interest in the material of optical instruments in class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru.Keywords:Interest in Learning, Firing Line, Optical Instruments

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet in momentum, impulse, and collision for senior high school grade xi/semester 1. Research conducted at the laboratory of physiscs learning strategy development. this type of research is Reseach and Development (R&amp;D) with 4D model development, the procedure includes define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was carried out until develo. Data collection instruments used validation sheets for 5 validator, included 3 lecturer and 2 teacher. Aspects assessed include graphic and presentation, language, and the contents of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet. Based on the result of data analysis showed that all aspects got average score in the range of 3.4 to 4 categories of high and very high. Thus, higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet was valid.Key Word: Higher Order Thinking Skills worksheet, HOTS, Worksheet, Momentum,impulse and collision worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the achievement level of curriculum 2013 implementation’s in Physics learning in term of the senior high school teachers Pekanbaru. This study is descriptive qualitative using survey method. A total of fifteen physics teachers from four senior high schools as parent cluster of curriculum 2013 in Pekanbaru has contributed in the process of collecting data by questioner. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative used to describe qualitative ordinal data such as achievement score implementation of curriculum 2013, which obtained from the research.The result showed that the achievement level of implementation curricullum 2013 in Physics Learning in term of the Senior High School teachers Pekanbaru included of the category quite well. Therefore, implementation of Curruculum 2013 has not done optimally yet.Key Words: Implementation of Curriculum 2013, Physics Learning, and Teachers
