Abstract

A solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell based on TiO2/SnO2 composite electrode and polyethylene glycol (PEG) based electrolyte has been fabricated. The solar cell was formed in sandwich structure, which two electrodes sandwiching polymer electrolyte containing a redox couple (I-/I3-). One of the electrode was TiO2/SnO2 composite layer on TCO (transparent conducting oxide) coated glass substrate which sensitized with Ruthenium complex dye as electron donor, and the other electrode was a carbon sheet as a counter electrode. Active area of solar cell was 1.5 cm x 1 cmm. The solar cell was tested by irradiation with mercury lamp of 400 Watt with intensity of 30 mW/cm2 at a distance of 30 cm and sunlight with intensity of 36 mW/cm2. The cell tested with mercury lamp result in an open circuit voltage (VOC) of 420 mV, short circuit current (ISC) of 52 ?A, maximum power (Pmax) of 10.4 ?W, fill factor (FF) of 48% and energy conversion (?) of 0.023 %. On the other hand, the cell tested with sunlight source result in VOC=480 mV, ISC=48?A, Pmax=12.6 ?W, FF=55% and ?=0.023%.

Abstract

STRUKTUR DAN SIFAT OPTIK FILM ZnO HASIL DEPOSISI DENGAN TEKNIK SPIN-COATING MELALUI PROSES SOL-GEL. Film ZnO telah dibuat pada substrat kaca dengan teknik deposisi spin coating melalui proses sol-gel. Pembuatan film ZnO dari prekursor zinc acetate dengan laju putaran 3.000 rpm selama 60 detik di atas pelat spin coater. Film yang diperoleh dikeringkan pada suhu ruang kemudian dilakukan annealing pada suhu 500 oC selama 3 jam. Hasil XRD menunjukkan bahwa film ZnO yang terbentuk adalah polikristal wurtzite heksagonal dengan nilai parameter kisi masing-masing adalah a = 3,290 Å dan c = 5,2531 Å. Ukuran kristal rata-rata ZnO adalah 29,554 nm. Berdasarkan morfologi permukaan hasil foto SEM menunjukkan film ZnO berbentuk lempengan-lempengan (disks) yang tidak seragamdan tidak beraturan. Karakterisasi spektroskopi UV-Vis menghasilkan karakteristik optik film ZnO, yaitu spektrum transmitansi optik dalam rentang panjang gelombang 370 nm sampai dengan 970 nm. Dari data spektrum UV-Vis tersebut ditentukan lebar celah energi ZnO sebesar 3,2 eV.

Abstract

A solid-state dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cell utilizing anthocyanin extract form red cabbage as photosensitizer was fabricated. The solar cell was formed in sandwich structure, which two electrodes sandwiching polymer electrolyte containing a redox couple (I-/I3-). One of the electrodes, namely working electrode, TiO2 layer on TCO (transparent conducting oxide) coated glass substrate was sensitized with anthocyanin dye as electron donor in the system. Another electrode was a carbon sheet as a counter electrode. Gel electrolyte based on PEG (polyethylene glycol) containing a redox couple (I-/I3-) used instead of liquid electrolyte in this photoelectrochemical cell. Two fabricated cells have an active area of 1 cm2 were soaked with anthocyanine dye for 1 hr and 24 hrs, respectively. The cells were tested by irradiation with halogen lamp of 24 Watt with intensity 4 mW/cm2 at a distance 30 cm. The testing results of the cells show an ideal I-V characteristic with output parameters: open circuit voltage (VOC) of 500 mV, short circuit current (ISC) of 5,6 μA and 7,2 μA for each cells, fill factor (FF) of 48% for both cells, energy conversion (η) of 0.023 % and 0,055 % for the cells with 1 hr and 24 hrs dye soaked, respectively.

Abstract

THE USE OF POLYMER GEL ELECTROLYTE CONTAINING I-/I3- REDOX COUPLE TO ASSEMBLY A SOLID STATE DYE SENSITIZED TiO2 SOLAR CELL. A solid state dye sensitized TiO2 nanocrystalline solar cells was assembled employing a polymer gel electrolyte contains of iodide/triiodide (I-/I3-) redox couple. The use of solid electrolyte based on polymer matrix for redox ?couples is aimed to overcome several problems of liquid cell, such as leaks of electrolyte that result in degradation of solar cell. TiO2 nanocrystalline layer was grown on TCO glass substrate by doctor blade technique was stained by synthetic dye Ruthenium 535 for a day. To complete the cell, a polymer gel based on poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) containing I-/I3- redox couple was sandwiched between a working electrode (nanoporous TiO2 layer on conductive glass substrate) and a counter electrode (graphite sheet). The solid-state cell does not need a clipp, so the gel polymer electrolyte also acts as a glue to join the electrodes. Two cells assembled with different amount of I-/I3- redox couple used in each cell, one of cell use 20 drops of Iodolyte (contains (I-/I3- redox couple) and another cell use 30 drops of Iodolyte solution (purchased fromSolaronix, SA). The cells were characterized their photovoltaic performances included: open-circuit voltage (Voc), short-circuit current (Isc),maximum power (Pmax), fill factor (FF) and energy conversion efficiency.

Abstract

Lithium tantalit, yang memiliki rumus kimia LiTaO3, film tipis telah tumbuh pada tipe-p Si substrat (100) dengan menggunakan deposisi larutan kimia dan teknik spin coating pada kecepatan 3000 rpm selama 30 detik. film tipis LiTaO3 dibuat konsentrasi 2,5 juta dan pada suhu anil 550 ° C, 600 ° C, 650 ° C, 700 ° C, 750 ° C, dan 800 ° C. Ini film tipis yang ditandai dengan menggunakan spektroskopi laut optik dan LCR meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serapan puncak tertinggi film LiTaO3 adalah pada suhu 800 ° C dengan panjang gelombang di atas 800 nm. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa film LiTaO3 adalah bahan semikonduktor.

Abstract

Study on eggs properties, based on electrical measurement (conductance and capacitance) was carried out using alternating current signal on frequency variation from 10 Hz to 100 kHz. The electrical properties correlated to physical properties of eggs i.e haugh unit, pH and viscosity. The albumen and yolk of native eggs, which were placed in the cell system from acrylic and electrode plate conductor of cuprum, were used as samples. Hi LCR Tester Hioki with dual probe (modified from four probes) was used to measure electrical properties of samples. This equipment was provided with fixed current source but varies in frequency. The conductance of yolk and albumen increased exponentially if frequency signal was boosted up. The electrical conductance range of albumen was higher than yolk on all frequencies. The capacitance property decreased if frequency signal was boosted up. The decrease was exponential especially at frequency under 100Hz. The albumen capacitance was lower than yolk. The viscosity of yolk and albumen during storage was decreasing. The value of pH was not affected. The pH of albumen was between 9 and 10, and yolk was about 6. Multiple regression method was used to get empiric equation of electrical conductance, capacitance, HU and viscosity. The best correlation between electrical parameter and physical properties is conductance equation of HU and viscosity at 1 kHz. Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem penyalaan lampu pada saat ini biasanya dilakukan secara manual yaitu menggunakan saklar listrik sebagai pengontrol untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan lampu namun permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah saat seseorang meninggalkan rumah dengan kondisi lampu yang belum dimatikan. Pada kondisi tertentu  akan  terjadi  pemborosan  energi.  Selain  itu,  kondisi  tersebut  juga berpotensi terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya arus pendek yang dapat memicu kebakaran rumah. Maka oleh sebab itu  solusi yang diperlukan adalah  sebuah sistem kontrol yang dapat mengatur nyala lampu dari jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menghasilkan  perancangan  prototipe  sistem  pengendalian  nyala  lampu  secara jarak jauh untuk menanggulangi pemborosan energi saat lampu lupa dimatikan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengendalikan nyala lampu secara jarak jauh saat pemilik rumah meninggalkan rumah dalam keadaan kosong. Kata Kunci: Mikrokontroler, Wireless, Arduino Uno.

Abstract

The research purpose was to describe the successfulness of Realistic Mathematic Education Model which was based on the completion aspect of students learning result, students activity level, teachers ability to manage learning, and students response toward the model applied in this research. This research was conducted toward the third year students of SD Islam Terpadu which consist of 25 students. In gathering data, pen and paper test technique was used to measure students achievement. Observation was done to know students activities and teachers ability in manage learning.Questioner was also given to know the students perceptions toward the model applied. Statistic and descriptive analysis were used to analyze the data. The research finding showed that the students activities were not effective, while the teachers ability in managing learning was effective. In the end, standard for students achievement were not reached. On the other hand, students responses toward the model applied were positive.

Abstract

East Luwu is a developing district in the economic sector. One of them is a small micro medium business producing bread. Some bakeries still use simple equipment such as manual rollers. The bakery needs a machine that is able to produce flatbread dough with a larger amount, faster time, and the thickness of the bread dough can be adjusted. To support the bakeries, a bread dough peeler is needed to reduce the cost and time. In this study describe the literature study phase and data collection of demands with the parties involved, the design process, manufacturing and testing the machine. The engine drive consists of two modes, the manual crank rotation mode and the 3 phase electric motor mode (380 Volt) with 1390 rpm rotation passed through a two-level pulley-belt transmission system with a ratio of 16, so that it can produce 87 rpm of the roller rotation. Rolling Bread Dough Machine is capable of rolling or flattening bread dough with a thickness of 2 to 15 mm well. thicknesses of 1 to 1.5 mm still need improvement because it produces poorly bread dough and the dough sticks to the machine roller.

Abstract

Regency Simeulue Subdistrict Teupah Selatan health centers in Many health workers who are uncomfortable working at Teupah Seulatan Community Health Center because of the availability of facilities that are less complete, can not develop careers and incentives are lacking. The purpose of this study is to determine the Factors that Affect the comfort of health workers In Clinics Remote Subdistrict Teupah Selatan Regency of Simeulue 2017. This study is held from from March 05th to 29thApril 2017, This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The subject is the entire health workers. Total sample of 68 health workers by total sampling. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test statistic. The results showed that there is a meaningful relationship between the incentives with the convenience of a health worker with the value p 0.011 (p < 0.05), there is a meaningful relationship between the availability of the facilities with the convenience of a health worker with a value of 0.001 p (p < 0.05), there is a very meaningful relationships between career development with the convenience of a health worker with the p value of 0.005 (p < 0.05), and there is a very meaningful relationship between the additional income with the convenience of a health worker with a value of 0.012 p (p < 0.05). Conclusions can be taken and additional income that incentives, availability of facilities, career development, connect meaningfully with the convenience of health workers in Clinics Remote Subdistrict Teupah Selatan Regency of Simeulue  2017
