Abstract

The growth of Information Technology (IT) investment is predicted to develop rapidly in the next few years. This will urge the need of a tool to help IT managers to manage and monitor their asset frequently. In this paper, we identify components that will contribute significantly to the planning of IT investment. The results were derived from a survey that was done in three big cities that might be considered as a representative of IT development in Indonesia, i.e. Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar (Bali). Based on the results of the survey, we have built a tool for managing and monitoring the IT assets, including configuration system, devices, storage media, interfaces and installed applications. The tool is utilizing the simple network management protocol (SNMP) for querying all IT assets information from each client/agent in a network.

Abstract

Some of developing countries recently employ network applications that use sensor nodes, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for remote sensing. Most latest researchers, utilize methods with a network topology that has a fixed position. On the other hand, for remote monitoring network set up wireless networks typically use ad hoc and irregular distributed by its users. A study needed to create a network system with randomly generated positions. In this work we concern about wireless network that employ On Demand Routing Protocols, i.e. Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). The result of the research shows that DSR has a better performance in term of delay and packet loss ratio compared to the AODV. On the other hand, AODV shows a better performance in term of bandwidth utilization.

Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of the computer network. In a computer network is addressing systems named IP address.Public IP address in use today is IPv4; The user who added the more led to exhaustion of IPv4 addresses are available on the internet. To overcome these problems developed types of IPv6. IPv4 can not directly linked with the IPv6 tunneling system is required to integrate both the IPS in a network of computers.In this final project will design a system of tunneling in a network of computers that use IPv6 as a server and client in which IPv6 data packet takes through the network IPv4 which is still existing and there occurs the process of Christianization engkapsulasian IP address, either peng-enkapsulasian IPv6 in IPv4 packet or vice versa.When using file-sharing whereby and the webserver by doing a test upload and download by the client. Abstract

Skizofrenia is a clinical syndrome with a variety of psikopatology, usually   severe , lasts long and the victim can be identified by a deviation from their thoughts, perceptions and emotions. There are many types of schizophrenia syndrome, Based on interviews with the doctor at Jiwa Menur mental hospital, schizophrenia syndromes ussually have similar symptoms, moreover some have only two to three distinguished symptoms. Those schizophrenia syndromes that have similar symptoms could potentially create errors in the process of determining the type of mental disorder of schizophrenia syndrome. Based on the above problems an expert system application will be made to diagnose the type of mental disorder from schizophrenia syndrome, and due to the unavailability of such applications that can help the doctor at the Jiwa Menur mental hospital. This system uses the fuzzy expert system method. This method will track each of the symptoms experienced by the victim of schizophrenia syndrome, and matching the symptons with existing rules to produces a diagnosis report. The results of diagnostic testing with expert knowledge of the system indicates that the system is able to detect the type of mental disorder on schizophrenia syndromes with 87,5% accuracy of the diagnostic result, which has been implemented to the eight victims. This system also provide treatment based on the types of schizophrenia experienced by the victim. Keyword : expert system, fuzzy expert system, mental disorder, skizofrenia syndrome

Abstract

Abstract:.”In Indonesia, it is very minimal knowledge of parents about how to view and directing interests and talents of children, especially in the regions where development is less concern by the government. Based on research, at school was found approximately 40% of gifted children, but their perform can’t equivalent with their actual capacity (Lucy, 2010). Consequently, many talented children classified as underachievers although they have highly skilled. This conditons make ineffective growth of child and their big talent can’t visible earlier. Their parents and their teacher must knowing the highest intelligence of children from an early age and then quality of education can be improved faster. So this software expected to help an elementary school teacher work together with their parents to diagnose their intelligence more accurately and quickly with view from their hobbies. This software is also expected to showing some information to teachers as educators and parents for how to assist growth of their children based from their intelligence.”

Abstract

The cause of low yield of soybean in Indonesia, among others is a disease. To find out what disease that attacks soybean crops needed an expert in the field of agriculture. Disease that often impairs the soybean plant is rust. In addition to lowering the yield, rust disease also potentially lower the quality of soybean seeds. In addition to these there are many more diseases that are present in the soy plant. Expert system for soybean disease defines is one alternative to detect disease of soybean. The method used is rule based system and forward chaining method. The system will be made to provide an unbiased decision about the type of disease affecting soybean and handling. Web based system is built in order to spread information more accessible. Result of the application that have been tested by three expert crops by conducting interview and application testing performed eight times on each trial expert. Based on test result obtained from 24 experiments by expert is 22 times the experiment successfully identified soybean disease and two trials did not identify soybean disease. The trial result concluded the expert system can determine soybean disease based on symptoms in plant soybean.

Abstract

Eyes are included as one of important human sense which is very useful human vision. But people usually take care the health of the eyes carelessly and it is also because of the less information for people to keep the healthy eyes. Besides the minimum health facilities for eyes in the hospitals and the clinics and also less expert that make this symptom cannot be handled rapidly. To help people, in this case the expert can use method of system with process of inference forward chaining. This system was created in website basic for spreading the information to people so the health of eyes can be handled quickly. Based on the research, four consumers and an expert the result : i) Throughout seven times of research in validity system the symptom can be detected,  ii) From the research of feature in system application the result are 3.4 from the consumer and 4.2 from the expert. From the result can be seen that this expert system application runs well, can be used and gives information of the symptoms and the solutions.

Abstract

Every year the number of motor vehicles increased street-traffic, this wil only cause the traffic accident rate higher street traffic. The reasons vary, one cause was an accident caused by drivers who drive a motor vehicle in a state affected by alcohol or in other words drunk driving. TGS 2620 sensor is one sensor that can detect alcohol content in the air, with the help of data from the sensor microcontroler can be sent to a computer and then processed in order to display the output in units of parts per milion (PPM). Research successfuly detected at levels of alcohol in the human body with 1.2236% error rate.

Abstract

The tropical disease is a unique desease which often happen in tropical area. There are many types of symptoms of tropical disease which are almost similar. Somehow, it is difficult for common people to diferenciate between tropical disease. Therefore, tropical disease are not easy to be identified. A patient needs a doctor consultation and treatment in order to identify the specific diseases that are suffered. However, time of consultation, distance, and cost are several other things that need to be considered by the patients. To provide simplicity for the patient consultation, It is neccessary to build a fuzzy expert system for diagnosing the tropical disease. Fuzzy expert system for diagnosis of tropical disease by web based. The fuzzy expert system will diagnose each symptom which has been perceived by patient by providing the certainty factor value in every symptom, as well as certainty factor value of the patient answer. Based on the sequence of rules, the system will result in a diagnosed tropical disease. Our examination shows that the system gives accuracy of diagnosing at arround 93,3% . The sample was taken from 15 patients and 2 doctors. The system is able to suggestion treatment based on the type of tropical diseases which are suffered by patients. Additionaly the fuzzy expert system for diagnosing tropical diseases can be accessed at anytime and anywhere utilizing the web browser.

Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of digital content in support of mobility. For that pupose, a provider requires a storage server which provides space for storing the digital content. Network Attach Storage (NAS) is a technology that is commonly used as a storage system. It considers to be cheap and easy for implementation. This is mainly because it can be implemented in the condition of minimal resources. On the other hand, this technology is mainly running on the open source operating system, like FreeNAS and NAS4Free This paper will discuss the performance comparation between FreeNAS and NAS4Free network operating system to analize the main activity of the storage servers, i.e. data transfer, file maintenance, and the network infrastucture. In this testing process, we used windows based file sharing common internet file system (CIFS). Parameter that are involved in the analysis are delay/latency, throughput, CPU usage, memory usage, file copy, file classification, duplicate files detection and file delete on 11 different file sizes. Based on the experiment, it is concluded thats FreeNAS operating system in general shows better performance compared to the NAS4Free. However the NAS4Free requires higher CPU usage compared to the NAS4Free.
