Abstract

This study was aimed to develop and produce an assessment instrument of mathematical learning results based on multiple intelligence. The methods in this study used Borg & Gall-Research and Development approach (Research & Development). The subject of research was 289 students. The results of research: (1) Result of Aiken Analysis showed 58 valid items were between 0,714 to 0,952. (2) Result of the Exploratory on factor analysis indicated the instrument consist of three factors i.e. mathematical logical intelligence-spatial intelligence-and linguistic intelligence. KMO value was 0.661 df 0.780 sig. 0.000 with valid category. This research succeeded to developing the assessment instrument of mathematical learning results based on multiple intelligence of second grade in elementary school with characteristics of logical intelligence of mathematics, spatial intelligence, and linguistic intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika di SMP berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013, dan menilai keefektifan model yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek coba adalah guru, kepala sekolah, dan pengawas. Instrumen pengumpul data adalah kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Proses pengem-bangan dilakukan dalam 4 tahap yaitu: (1) investigasi awal; (2) perencanaan pengembangan, valida-si; (3) uji coba, dan (4) finalisasi produk. Uji coba dilakukan tiga tahap dengan jumlah subjek me-ningkat setiap tahapnya. Instrumen evaluasi terdiri instrumen penilaian perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan penilaian. Validitas isi dilakukan melalui focus group discussion (FGD). Validitas konstruk dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis faktor, dan estimasi reliabilitasnya mengunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). Hasil penelitian berupa model eva-luasi proses pembelajaran matematika di SMP, yaitu prosedur evaluasi, panduan evaluasi, dan instrumen evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, semua instrumen memiliki kecocokan model yang baik, karena validitas konstruk, dan reliabilitas memenuhi persyaratan akademik. Penilaian para praktisi dan pengguna, model evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika sangat efektif untuk diterapkan.Kata kunci: model evaluasi, proses pembelajaran, matematika SMP ______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING A MODEL FOR AN EVALUATION OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING PROCESSES AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS BASED ON CURRICULUM 2013Abstract This studi aims to develop a model for an evaluation of mathematics learning processes at junior high schools (JHSs) based on Curriculum 2013 and evaluate the effectiveness of the model develo-ped. This was a research and development study. The subject of the research was the teachers, principals, and supervisors. The data collecting instruments were questionnaires and observational sheet. The development process was carried out in 4 stages namely: (1) preliminary investigation; (2) planning development, validation; (3) tryout; (4) product finalization. The try out was perform-ed in 3 stages with the increasing number of participants for each stage. The learning process evaluation model was supported by instrument to assess lesson plans, learning implementation, and the implementation of learning outcome assessment. The content validity was assessed through focus group discussion (FGD). The construct validity was assessed by the factor analysis, and the reliabilities were estimated by the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). The result of the research was a model of evaluation of mathematics learning processes at junior high schools (JHSs) based on Curriculum 2013, consisting of procedures, evaluation guideline and the well de-signed instruments. Based on the try out, all of the instruments have had good suitability, because construct validity and reliability meet all of the academic requirements. According to the evalua-tion from the practitioners and the model users, the model of the evaluation of mathematics learn-ing processes at junior high schools (JHSs) based on Curriculum 2013 was very effective to be implemented. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model evaluasi kinerja dosen yang akurat dan terpercaya. Model terdiri atas: instrumen, panduan penskoran, penentuan standar, aplikasi komputer, panduan penilaian, dan panduan pemanfaatan hasil penilaian. Penelitian ini merupakan multy years research selama tiga tahun. Tahun pertama (2017) dilakukan pengembangan instrumen yang akurat dan terpercaya, panduan penskoran, dan penentuan standar. Tahun kedua (2018) dilakukan uji coba penilaian kinerja dosen, produk awal aplikasi komputer, panduan pelaksanaan penilaian, dan panduan pemanfaatan hasil penilaian. Tahun ketiga (2019) dilakukan penilaian kinerja dosen, contoh pemanfaatan hasil penilaian, dan validasi aplikasi komputer. Draf instrumen divalidasi oleh 10 pakar kemudian dihitung validitas isinya dengan formula Aiken V, bukti validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor eksploratori, dan estimasi reliabilitasnya dengan Cronbach Alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) semua butir instrumen sudah memenuhi standar validitas isi yakni 0,73, (2) hasil analisis faktor instrumen kinerja dosen dalam bidang pengajaran menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 komponen, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan indeks reliabilitas Alpha sebesar 0,844,  dan (3) berdasarkan kajian teori, FGD, dan bukti empirik, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja dosen dinilai melalui empat aspek yakni kinerja dalam pengajaran, kinerja dalam penelitian, kinerja dalam PPM, dan kapasitas dosen. EVALUATION MODEL OF LECTURER’S PERFORMANCE: DEVELOPING INSTRUMENTS FOR EVALUATING LECTURER’S PERFORMANCEAbstractThe aim of this research is to develop the evaluation model for lercturer performance that is valid and reliable. The model consists of: instruments, scoring manual, act of determining standard, application standard, assessment manual,  and utilization manual of the assessment result. This research is a multi-year research. The first year research (2017) focuses on the development of evaluation instruments which is valid and reliable. The second year research (2018) focuses on conducting trial for lecturer performance assessment, initial computer application, the manual of assessment process, and the manual of assessment result utilization. The third year research (2019) focuses on administrating the evaluation for lecturer, the example of assessment result utilization, and validating computer application. The draft of the instrument was validated by 10 experts and analyzed using Aiken V formula. Besides, exploratory factor analysis was also conducted to prove the construct validity. The reliability was estimated by Alpha Cronbach formula. The result of the research shows that: (1) all instrument items have fullfilled the content validity requirement (0.73), (2) the exploratory factor analysis result of  lecturer teaching performance consists of 3 components, including preparation, teaching process, and evaluation with reliability index of 0.844, and (3) based on the theoretical study, focus group discussion, and empirical evidence, lecturer performance can be assessed by four aspects, including teaching performance, research performance, social service performance, and lecturer capacity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika dan sains berdasarkan daya serap dan tingkat kesulitan butir tes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif. Data utama yang digunakan adalah respons peserta didik terhadap tes INAP 2007 untuk mata pelajaran matematika dan sains di kelas 5 SD. Tes ini merupakan dokumentasi Puspendik Balitbang Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional untuk wilayah Yogyakarta. Data dianalisis melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan daya serap (proporsi menjawab benar) pada pendekatan teori tes klasik dan tingkat kesulitan model Rasch pada pendekatan teori respons butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kesulitan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika berdasarkan daya serap meliputi 88,57% dari keseluruhan materi yang seharusnya dikuasai peserta didik; (2) materi untuk mata pelajaran matematika yang dianggap sulit yang dianalisis melalui pendekatan teori respons butir adalah perbandingan dan skala; jarak, waktu, dan kecepatan; operasi hitung campuran; serta luas bangun datar; (3) kesulitan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sains berdasarkan daya serap meliputi 80% dari keseluruhan materi yang seharusnya dikuasai peserta didik; (4) materi untuk mata pelajaran sains yang dianggap sulit yang diketahui melalui pendekatan teori respons butir adalah proses fotosintesis tumbuhan air, magnet, katrol, perubahan wujud, sistem aliran darah, adaptasi, lapisan bumi, dan tanda gunung berapi meletus.

Abstract

Penelitian tahun kedua ini bertujuan untuk meneliti karakteristik perangkat tes buatan guru, melakukan analisis penyetaraan karakteristik butir antarwilayah sehingga karakteristik butir antarkabupaten berada pada skala yang sama, dan melakukan analisis penyetaraan karakteristik butir  soal  antartahun.  Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  pendekatan  Research  and  Development. Data diperoleh dari dokumen, yang dianalisis dengan metode analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Responden adalah guru penyusun soal ujian semester bersama mata pelajaran IPA, Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Indonesia yang tergabung dalam MGMP dari dua kabupaten, yaitu Sleman dan Gunungkidul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan sejumlah butir soal buatan guru yang baik, berdasarkan teori pengukuran klasik maupun teori respons butir, yang dapat dimasukkan ke dalam tabungan bank soal, diketahuinya perbandingan kualitas karakteristik butir soal buatan guru antartahun antara Kabupaten Sleman dan Kabupaten Gunungkidul, terkait dengan organisasi guru dalam MGMP dan MKKS, serta keterlaksanaan ujian akhir semester bersama yang dilakukan pada setiap kabupaten, dapat disusun model pengembangan bank soal melalui penyusunan soal oleh MGMP atau MKKS, serta keterlaksanaan semua ini meningkatkan kualitas pengujian dan pendidikan di Provinsi DIY.

Abstract

Observation is argued as the most suitable technique to assess the execution of authentic assessment. Unfortunately, it requires great amount of time and money. We need an alternative. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop an instrument in the form of a student assessment sheet on the implementation of authentic assessments in Mathematics subjects. This research is a development research that uses standard procedures for developing instruments. The result of the analysis with Aiken’s formula showed that every item of the instrument was in a good category. The result of the analyses using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Multitrait-Multimethod showed that the instrument had good construct validity. The result of reliability estimation using Cronbach Alpha  (α) also showed that the instrument was in the reliable category. Thus, it can be concluded that the instrument in the form of student assessment sheets for assessing the implementation of authentic assessment in junior high school Mathematics learning is highly valid and reliable, which means that the developed instrument can replace the equivalent observation sheet.

Abstract

Penelitian hibah ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengukur hasil belajar yang nirbias dan terskala baku yang digunakan dalam beberapa mata pelajaran di SMA dan atau SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) yang dilakukan selama dua tahun. Hasil penelitian tahun pertama dihasilkan draf instrumen pengukur hasil belajar yang nirbias dan terskala baku. Tahun kedua, diseminasi draf instru-men pengukur hasil belajar yang dihasilkan tahun pertama ke beberapa guru Matematika SMA dan SMP di Provinsi DIY dan Jawa Tengah. Setelah direvisi, instrumen disosialisasikan ke be-berapa guru Matematika SMA dan SMP di Provinsi DIY, Jawa Tengah dan NTB.Kata kunci: instrumen yang nirbias dan terskala baku______________________________________________________________DEVELOPING UNBIASED AND STANDARDIZED INSTRUMENTS FOR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN HIGHSCHOOLS Abstract The purpose of this research is to develop unbiased and standardized instruments to measure student achievements that can be used for several subject matters in senior high schools and junior high schools. This was a research development study carried out in two years. The result of this research in the first year was a draft of an unbiased and standardized instuments for student achievements. In the second year, the draft of the unbiased and standardized instruments was disseminated to several mathematics teachers in senior high schools and junior high schools in the provinces of Yogyakarta Special Territory and Central Java. After the revision, the instruments were disseminated again to mathematics teachers in senior high schools and junior high schools in the provinces of Yogyakarta Special Territory, Central Java, and Nusa Tenggara Barat. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and describe the quality and characteristics of an assessment instrument of by name of Qirāatul Kutub. This development research is based on Borg & Gall model. The steps of the development were (1) planning, (2) primary developing product, (3) preliminary field testing, (4) main field testing, and (5) final product revision. The subjects for preliminary field testing were 28 testees for performance test instrument and 96 testees for grammar mastery test derived from students of Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School, whereas the subjects for main field testing were 80 students for performance test instrument and 425 students for grammar mastery test. The research instruments were assessment instrument of Qirāatul Kutub which consisted of performance assessment instrument and grammar mastery essay test, observation and interview guide. The research data were analyzed based on Rasch Model. The results showed that: (1) the results of the development were 12 items of the performance test and 17 items of the grammar mastery test which were fit with the proposed model, (2) the item difficulty of the performance test ranged from -1.32 to 0.99, while for the grammar mastery test from -1.13 to 1.01; (3) the person reliability for the performance test was 0.86, item reliability was 0.97, and Cronbach’s alpha value was 0.97. The grammar mastery test has person reliability 0.97 and item reliability 0.99 with Cronbach’s alpha 0.90; (4) based on the test information function (TIF) and Standard Error of Measurement (SEM), the instruments were found to be good; the performance test and the grammar mastery test were suitable for learners with ability masteries between -4 and 4.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penanaman karakter religius sangat urgen dalam upaya mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Telah banyak studi dilakukan untuk meneliti penanaman atau implementasi karakter religius pada peserta didik. Namun, masih belum banyak penelitian yang melakukan evaluasi dan pengukuran terhadap tingkat karakter religius mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menjelaskan karakter religius pada mahasiswa program pascasarjana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi mahasiswa program pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta angkatan 2018. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dan proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tentang The Muslim Religiosity Personality Inventory (MRPI) untuk mengukur religiositas mereka. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara umum, mahasiswa program pascasarjana UNY memiliki skor religiositas yang tinggi. Adapun dari segi gender, tingkat religiositas cenderung merata, meskipun laki-laki meraih skor sedikit lebih tinggi dari perempuan. Adapun perdimensi, skor tertinggi adalah kesalehan personal, lalu kesalehan sosial dan terendah kesalehan ritual.Kata Kunci: karakter religius; mahasiswa program pascasarjana; religiusitas personal, religiusitas ritual, religiusitas sosialRELIGIOUS CHARACTER ON STUDENTS OF POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM AT YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY Abstract: The cultivation of religious character is very urgent in the effort to realize the goals of national education. There have been many studies conducted to examine the planting or implementation of religious character in students. However, there are still not many studies that evaluate and measure the level of their religious character. This study aims to measure and explain the religious character of postgraduate students. This study used a quantitative approach with a population of postgraduate students of Yogyakarta State University of 2018. Sample ditermination used probability sampling and proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire about The Muslim Religiosity Personality Inventory (MRPI) to measure their religiosity. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that in general, postgraduate students of Yogyakarta State University had high religiosity scores. In terms of gender, the level of religiosity tends to be evenly distributed, although men score slightly higher than women. As for the dimensions, the highest score is personal piety, then social piety, and the lowest is ritual piety.Keywords: religious character; students of postgraduate program; personal religiosity, ritual religiosity, social religiosity
