Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP berdasarkan langkah Polya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data triangulasi. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa siswa mampu memecahkan masalah matematika. Hal tersebut tampak dari kemampuan siswa dalam: (1) menentukan hal-hal yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan secara lengkap. Selain itu siswa juga mampu memahami hubungan antar informasi yang diberikan. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa mampu memahami masalah. (2) menyusun suatu permisalan dan menyusun model matematika, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa mampu menyusun rencana penyelesaian. (3) menyelesaikan model matematika dengan tepat, mampu mencari hasil akhir dari soal tersebut  dan mampu melakukan operasi hitung dengan tepat. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa mampu melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian. (4) mengecek penyelesaian soal tersebut baik langkah-langkahnya maupun perhitungannya serta menyusun kesimpulan. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa mampu mengecek kembali. Dari keterangan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa mampu memecahkan masalah matematika berdasarkan langkah Polya.   Kata kunci: masalah matematika, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, langkah Polya.

Abstract

This paper discussed about the construction of Cantor middle third set which is formed from unit interval . To construct the Cantor set, take a line and remove the middle third and remain two line segments. This Process is repeated infinite number of times. This process produces some interesting properties on Cantor middle third set, such as has uncountable many elements, contains no intervals, and is compact, perfect, and nowhere dense. By using Hausdorff dimension and self similar set, it discussed the dimension of Cantor middle third set which is a unique positive number

Abstract

Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) merupakan salah satu alternatif pendekatan pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk belajar matematika secara bermakna dan realistik bagi siswa. Prinsip emergent modeling dalam PMR menuntut ketersediaan media pembelajaran agar siswa dapat membayangkan situasi masalah yang diberikan. Namun permasalahan yang muncul adalah keterbatasan media murah yang dapat digunakan guru dan keterbatasan pengetahuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran matematika realistik berbantuan media. Di lain pihak, sejumlah besar barang bekas dibiarkan menumpuk, kurang dimanfaatkan. Padahal barang bekas dapat didaur ulang menjadi barang dengan nilai guna, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkannya untuk kepentingan belajar dan mengajar matematika. Pelatihan pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan bantuan media berbahan bekas di sekolah dasar dapat menjadi solusi praktis untuk membantu guru menyelenggarakan proses pembelajaran matematika yang bermakna, menarik, interaktif, mudah diikuti dan murah. Meskipun rancangan pembelajaran yang dihasilkan belum memenuhi prinsip dan karakteristik pembelajaran matematika realistik, kegiatan ini dinilai bermanfaat dan berhasil dalam membantu guru untuk memilih bahan bekas sebagai media dan merancang pembelajaran matematika dengan media tersebut. Dari kegiatan ini, dihasilkan 27 desain pembelajaran matematika dengan media berbahan bekas yang berbeda dari 36 desain yang dibuat. Rancangan pembelajaran yang dibuat meliputi beberapa topik matematika untuk kelas 3 dan 4 sekolah dasar.

Abstract

In this paper we study Henstock-Dunford integral on [a,b]. We discuss some properties of the integrable. We shall define essentially small Riemann sums (ESRS)  and show that it is necessary and sufficient condition for function to be Henstock-Dunford integral on [a,b].

Abstract

The aims of Economic Production Quantity models are for manage the production schedule and product inventory. The first Economic Production Quantity model developed by E.W Taft on 1918. Taft make some asumption such as daily demand rate constant, daily production rate constant, not stockout allowed, single item product and daily production rate are more than daily demand rate. On the process of delivery product,  there is not transportation cost. Pasandideh dan Niaki on 2010 was constructed an Economic Production Quantity models with discrete delivery order. In this research we discussed the Economic Production Quantity model which products delivered by multiple palet system and with transportation cost.

Abstract

In this Paper introduced a coring from tensor product of bialgebra. An algebra with compatible coalgebrastructure are known as bialgebra. For any bialgebra B we can obtained tensor product between B anditself. Defined a right and left B -action on the tensor product of bialgebra B such that we have tensorproduct of B and itself is a bimodule over B. In this note we expect that the tensor product B anditself becomes a B -coring with comultiplication and counit.Keywords : action, algebra, coalgebra, coring.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Graf G dengan himpunan titik V(G) dan himpunan sisi E(G) dikatakan mempunyai pelabelan selisih kuadrat jika terdapat suatu fungsi bijektif f:V(G)?{0,1,2,?p-1}, dengan p adalah banyaknya titik sedemikian sehingga terdapat fungsi terinduksi f^*:E(G)?N dengan f^* (uv)=|[f?(u)]?^2-[f(v)]^2 | dimana setiap sisi mempunyai nilai pelabelan yang berlainan. Suatu graf G yang mempunyai pelabelan selisih kuadrat maka graf G dikatakan sebagai graf selisih kuadrat. Pada tugas akhir ini dikaji bahwa graf graf lengkap, graf sikel,  graf K_2+mK_1, graf nK_3, dan graf nC_5 merupakan graf selisih kuadrat. Kata kunci : Pelabelan selisih kuadrat, graf selisih kuadrat

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia developed an e-book named BSE as a learning source for students to study cube and cuboid to keep up with the trend of technological development. BSE, however, still has weakness that could be improved. The innovation could be done by combining interactive multimedia and e-book. Interactive multimedia had many features, such as video, audio, animation, etc, which could help student when learning about cube and cuboid. This study aims to know the developing proccess and produce an interactive e-book with some criteria called validity, practicality, and effectivity. Subject for this study was 6 students from 8th grade. This study was carried out using plomp model with four phase. First, initial investigation that consists of curriculum, material, and student need analysis. Second, design that consists of content, display, and instrument design. Third, realization, that consists of product development named prototype-I. Forth, test, evaluation, and revision that consists of interactive e-book validation by validator, revision, and trials. The result of this study was interactive e-book about cube and cuboid for student in 8th grade. That interactive e-book was a good media, because it was satisfy valid with score 2,94; practical with score 83,85%; and effective with score 83,33%. Abstract

Abstract Along with the development of sciences and technologies, assessment tool can be modified as a computer game. Computer game based assessment has more advantage than paper and pencil assessment. However, paper and pencil assessment is more commonly used. Therefore, this research tend to describe the process and result of development of computer game ?Architect Man? as assessment tool of quadrilateral and triangle for 7th grade students. The development of the game used ADDIE as the model which has 5 phases that are analys, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The collected data were validity scores and pretes-posttest scores. The validity scores were collected from validation sheet, while pretes-posttest scores were collected from experiment. The experiment used pretest-postest design with experiment subjects are students grade 7th F of SMP Negeri 1 Cerme. There were three kinds data analysis that are validity, reliability, and sensitivity. The development result of computer game ?Architect Man? fulfilled good category because it is valid, reliable, and sensitive. The validity analysis result showed that the average total score is 3,57 and categorized as strongly valid. The reliability analysis result showed that reliability coefficient is 0,784 and categorized as high level of reliability. Then, the sensitivity analysis showed that every question item has sensitivity index which is categorized as acceptable sensitive or strongly sensitive.
