This study discusses form and dimensions of a text regarding multiculturalism concept in the ulama books of the 20th century, how the text was produced and consumed by the community, and the sociocultural praxis contained in it. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive method and content analysis. The results of this study show that multiculturalism discourses written by Indonesian Ulama include: appreciation of Javanese language locality, gender equality, respect for the diversity of local economic potentials, the importance of national unity and counter to the negative stigma of Indonesian archipelago. At the level of text, multiculturalism discourses are written in the form of nadham and natsar (prose), and the language variety ??used is Arabic pegon script. In the case of social praxis, multicultural values ??are divided into two, namely social and religious discourse. The social discourse discusses social problems, equality, the importance of respecting differences as well as loving the motherland, while the religious discourse describes some problems developed in the society. In this case, the religious proposition is used as a basis for strengthening as well as elaborating the muticulturalism values.
Globalization causes the flow is so fast and can not be dammed, and so numerous and diverse flow of information. And the flow of information is not only an effect on knowledge but also to the values of Islamic religious education. So sometimes religious values are being abandoned, because it was considered old-fashioned and out, while those who follow the trend is considered advanced and modern yet started to leave the religious values and morals in life. To counteract the impact of globalization, hence, one of the methods is through education, the religion of Islam.
Game is one form of social activity that is very dominant in the early days of children. Therefore, children spend more time outside the house to play with his friends than be involved with other activities. Therefore, games for children is a form of fun activity undertaken solely for the activity itself, not because they want to get a result from such activities. This is due to children that the process of doing something is more interesting than the results that will be received. For every child, especially young children, playing means learning. Indeed the world of children is playing, since by playing, children will learn many things about everyday life. With games, we as parents can incorporate elements of education therein.
There are three main economic activities that every individual has to do with them in his or her life to achieve economic well-being and prosperity. They are; production, distribution and consumption. Those activities concern not only with need fulfillment and profitability, but also involve human behaviour either producers’ behaviour or consumers’ behaviour. The economic men whose behaviour arises from the scarcity of means to achieve given ends, has made people to behave in a way that is in accordance with economic rationality to achieve maximization. However, rationality does not necessarily imply maximization, as the forms of rationality could be selfish and egoistic, it could also be beneficial for one individual but harmful for the society. This is, because the principle of Economics is that every individual is actuated and motivated by self-interest. In an Islamic perspective, people’s behaviour must be in accordance with the Islamic values and norms and to seek the pleasure of God the almighty. This does not mean to ignore the rational behaviour in economy, but that rationality must be in accordance with the Shari’ah and the Islamic values and norms wich in turn will guide them in dealing with economic activities to bring them into economic well-being and prosperity. With regard to the bahviour in dealing with people and other creatures and to treat people as we wish to be treated in good treatment, I will come up with the concept of al-Mu’amalah al-Maddiyah and al-Mu’amalah al-Adabiyah. Although the concept is quite universal, it is quite useful to apply them in our economic activities in the framework of Islamic economics, so that our economic behaviour is in accordance with the Shari’ah.
The essence of man in the perspective of Islamic EducationPhilosophy is something very important and fundamental that candetermine humans life. Searching about the essence of human naturecan not be only absorbed in the thinking about the basic elements thatdetermine the human, such as aspects of physical and spiritual aspectswhich include: passion, reason, qalb and spirit. But the basic elementsthat exist in human beings are the foundation when we are going tounderstand human nature. By basing on an understanding of humannature, activities and educational process is run and aims to be ableto develop the human personality. The ultimate goal of education ispersonal excellence based on the principle of self-realization, ie torealize the potential that already exists in human beings in the form ofmoral potential, skills and physical development.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan etika religius dalam pandangan Ibn Hazm dan aktualisasinya dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekan kualitatif dengan jenis kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya dengan cara deskriptif analisis. Dengan menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) dan analisis historis (historical approach). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, etika religius menurut Ibn Hazm didasarkan pada basis al-Qur’an dan al-Hadits dan cenderung melepaskan kepelikan “dialektika” serta memusatkan perhatian pada usaha untuk mengeluarkan spirit moralitas Islam dengan cara yang lebih langsung. Konsep-konsep etika religius Ibn Hazm mencakup tujuan etika religius, ambisi duniawi dan kesombongan diri, kebaikan utama, cara memperbaiki perilaku, cara mendapatkan ilmu dan etika di majlis ilmu. Kedua, persoalan kehidupan yang saat ini timbul disebabkan oleh adanya globalisasi dapat dihadapi dengan mendasarkan pada asas-asas etika religus yang ditawarkan oleh Ibn Hazm
Many institutions or individuals use religious symbol or attributes, but the attitudes that they perform or express are contra-productive with what they wear, including cleanliness. This research tries to investigate the correlation between education on cleanliness (thaharah) with health behavior of student in two Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), urban and sub-urban. Based on data analysis using anava two ways, this research reveals that there is different influence of education on cleanliness between two Islamic boarding schools, between two different genders, and there is a relation between education on cleanliness and health attitude of students in two Islamic boarding schools if it is viewed based on students’ gender.
State College of Islamic Studies of Pekalongan as an Islamic college under the Ministry of Religious Affairs has a great responsibility and a strategic role in developing character building. It is because STAIN is an institution of higher education that produces many Muslim intelectuals and religionists. Based on that, this study was aimed to understand in depth about the role of the institution, the learning system, and the programs that are being done by the Research and Community Center of the institution (P3M STAIN Pekalongan) in developing character building. Phenomenological approach was used to understand the subjective aspect of persons' behavior and the conceptual nature of them. The result showed that the character building in STAIN Pekalongan seemed to be representative enough. But in practice, however, got a very big challenge, either from inside education environment or from outside.
Market economy with its competence has support capitalism from its beginning to always expand internally and externally. The impact of it has change the world economy and also the third world (developing countries), by the economic booming, like the increase of immigration as the impact of economic activities, the rapid development of technology, especially in information, electronic, communication, and bio-technology, and the success of international champagne to globalize capitalism in economy. To face this, Islam responds by the concept that Islam does not let the social class exist and avoid the centralization of properties only among the few rich people as it is in the capitalism. Islam issues different economic mode based on the Islamic teachings of need fulfillment, partnership, helping each other, and not based on struggling and conflict between social classes.
هذا البحث تتحدث عن تفسير مراح لبيد الذي ألفه الشيخ النواوي البنتني. هذا التفسير من التفسير المعاصر الذي لابد فيه من البحث للأسباب منها: أن النواوي البنتني من مفسري الإندونسيا و لا يكتب أحد تفسيرا للقرآن كاملا من إندونسي بلغة العربية إلا النواوي البنتني، و دراسة المنهج بحث مهتم للمبتدئ، لأن هذا الموضوع ينمو علوما متنوعا، كذالك دراسة منهج التفسير .وقال في مقدمته أنه خاف أن يدخل فى الرأي، و يشرع فى تفسيره لسورة الفاتحة بدون ذكر مصادرها كما كان كثير من تفسير بالمأثور.و بعد أن اطلع الباحث تفسير مراح لبيد و مصادره و كتب المتعلقة بهذا البحث فوجد الحصول أن منهج تفسير النواوي البنتني هو الإجمالي لأنه إنما يزداد قليلا على أقوال تفاسيره نفسه.
