Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perilaku peserta didik di wilayah perbatasan yang cenderung bersikap, berbahasa, berbudaya hingga menyukai penggunaan produk dari Timor Leste dibandingkan Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan penguatan karakter nasionalisme melalui pembiasaan (habituasi) di SMPN Silawan, Kabupaten Belu, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Proses penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik, guru, dan tokoh masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis keabsahan data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik yang digunakan oleh sekolah dalam menguatkan karakter nasionalisme peserta didik adalah melalui pembiasaan (habituasi). Melalui pembiasaaan ini, sekolah menyelenggarakan  best practice yang meliputi upacara bendera, penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar, menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan sebelum dan mengakiri pembelajaran, penyambutan tamu kenegaraan di wilayah perbatasan, penggunaan yel ? yel kebangsaan, hingga keteladanan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui program pembiasaan (habituasi) yang diselenggarakan oleh sekolah, mampu untuk menguatkan karakter nasionalisme peserta didik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh perilaku dan juga aktivitas sehari  -hari peserta didik yang sudah mencintai produk dalam negeri, berbahasa Indonesia dengan baik, dan benar hingga merasa sangat mencitai Indonesia.Kata kunci : habituasi, karakter nasionalisme, peserta didik, wilayah perbatasan, abad 21 ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by students? behavior in Indonesian border region who prefer to behave, speak, cultured even use products from Timor Lestecompared to Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to describe the process of strengthening the character of nationalism through habituation in SMPN Silawan, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The research process used qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects in this research were students, teachers, and community leaders. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity analysis of the data consists of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The technique used by schools in strengthening the character of students' nationalism was through habituation. Through this practice, the school organized best practices in program included flag ceremonies, the use of good and appropriate Indonesian language, singing national anthem before and end the learning, welcoming state guests in the border region, and using national yells. The results of the study showed that through habituation programs organized by schools, it was able to strengthen the character of nationalism of students. This was proven by the behavior and daily activities of the students who have loved domestic products, speak Indonesian well and appropriate, even feel very fond of Indonesia.Key words: border area, habituation, nationalism character, student, the 21st century

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this study was to describe and analyze implementation learning together models to improve students' civic skills. Methods used in this research was the qualitative approach with naturalistic inquiry methods. Data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that implementation learning together models can improve students' civic skills is think critically and participate actively. Students' have the intellectual skills to identifying, describing, explaining, analyzing problems, evaluating, and taking and defending opinion that with grasp of the sovereignty people and system government in Indonesia. Students' also have the participation skills in the interacting, monitoring, and influencing in the group. The improvement from the standpoint of civics education is one of the components that should be embodied in the formation of the smart and good citizenAbstrak: Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi model learning together untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kewarganegaraan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode inquiry naturalistik. Teknik pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran bersama model dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berprestasi siswa berpikir kritis dan berpartisipasi aktif. Siswa memiliki kemampuan intelektual untuk mengidentifikasi, menjelaskan, menganalisis masalah, mengevaluasi, dan mengambil serta mepertahankan pendapat tentang pemahaman kedaulatan rakyat dan sistem pemerintahan di Indonesia. Siswa juga memiliki kemampuan partisipasi dalam berinteraksi, memantau, dan mempengaruhi kelompok tersebut. Abstract

Abstract: Currently Civic Education learning in schools is still teacher centered learning. Consequently, the output of the study only focused on strengthening the aspects of knowledge (civic knowledge) students only. This research aims to provide an alternative learning civic education with student-centered learning methods, through the semiotics of Wayang Golek Lingkung Seni Giriharja as a learning resource. The research method used ethnography with a qualitative approach. The results showed that semiotics Wayang Golek Lingkung Seni Giriharja can be maximized as a learning resource civic education in citizenship competencies development of student. Abstract

This research examines the effect of  contextual learning in Civic Education toward civic competence among Junior High School students in West Java. Civic competence is consisted of  several variables: inter-relationship, direct experience, application, cooperation, self-regulation, and authentic assesment concepts. Employing quantitative approach, the research suggests that contextual learning in Civic Education influenced positively and significantly among 26% of respondents. The highest contribution was attributed by cooperation concept (21%), followed in second by self-regulating concept (20%).Riset ini meneliti efek pembelajaran kontekstual dalam Pelajaran Kewarganegaraan terhadap kompetensi kewarganegaraan di antara siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Jawa Barat. Variabel kompetensi kewarganegaraan yang diteliti mencakup konsep keterkaitan, pengalaman langsung, penerapan, kerjasama, pengaturan diri, dan penilaian otentik. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, riset berhasil mendapatkan sejumlah temuan. Pertama, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap 26%  responden. Dari keseluruhan variabel, terbukti bahwa konsep kerjasama memberi pengaruh terbesar (21%) dalam memunculkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan, diikuti konsep pengaturan diri (20%).

Abstract

abstract: This research was conducted in class X.MIPA.5 SMA Negeri 6 Bandung, in the first semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year with a total of 34 students. This PTK data collection technique uses observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. Conducting research with a process cycle of activities in classroom action research beginning with planning (planning), applying (action), observing and evaluating the process and results of the action (observation and evaluation), reflecting (reflection), then returning to the planning stage of action until quality is achieved desired learning. In the first cycle of action I with the number of subjects amounted to 33 people with observation techniques both teacher categories with a score of 117 and the percentage of 71.34% while observing the activities of students categorized sufficiently with a score of 80 and a percentage of 50%. Then the motivation of students in the first cycle with a score of 194 percent 36.74% less category. Cycle II with the number of subjects amounted to 32 people with very good category of observation techniques for teachers with a score of 143 and a percentage of 87.21% while the observation of the activities of students was categorized both with a score of 103 and a percentage of 64.38%. Then the motivation of students in the second cycle with a score of 294 percentage of 57.42% good categories. Cycle III with the number of subjects amounted to 32 people with observation techniques on the category of very good teachers with a score of 136 and a percentage of 87.21% while observations of the students were categorized very well with a score of 136 and a percentage of 85%. Then the motivation of students in cycle III with a score of 401 percentage 78.32% of the category is very good. From the results of data management there is a significant increase in student motivation, namely the comparison of students' motivation in cycles I, III, III, namely 50%, 64.35 and 85%. So there is an increase in learning activities and motivation of students before and after the implementation of the concept learning model make a match type in the subjects. Keywords: Type make a match, Pancasila Education, Student Motivation

Abstract

Pemahaman Guru Mengenai Implementasi Pendekatan Saintifik dalam Mata Pelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh guru mengenai implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam mata pelajaran PPKn pada  SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bangka. Pemahaman tersebut dilihat dari beberapa aspek yaitu perbedaan pendekatan pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) dengan pendekatan dalam kurikulum 2013, pengertian pendekatan saintifik, tujuan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik, prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik, langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik, model-model pembelajaran dalam pendekatan saintifik, dan pentingnya pendekatan saintifik dalam mata pelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan hasil penelitian: pemahaman guru mengenai implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam mata pelajaran PPKn adalah cukup, namun perlu ditingkatkan pada pemahaman pemilihan model-model pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada guru untuk lebih mempelajari pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam mata pelajaran PPKn.

Abstract

Abstract. The Effect of Media Flash Card Math on Math Achievement. The experiment research was conducted in the tenth grade in Vocational High School Mahadika, Ciracas, East Jakarta, academic year 2013/2014, the aim of this experiment research is to know the effect of media flash card math on mathematics achievement. True experiment design was used in this research in the form of posttest only control design. Sample was consists of experiment group and control group which was taken randomly, two classes was taken from three paralel class. After giving different treatments for two groups, then giving the posttest with the instrument that consist of 28 items in multiple choice form and 5 alternative answers. The instrument has been tested and validation empirically. Analysis of research data descriptive and inferential, which inferentially using the "test" , by first testing the assumption of normality and homogeneity of variance. The results showed that there are significant effect of using media flash cards math on mathematics achievement.Keywords: Flash Card Math Media, Math Achievement.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui program pembiasaan (habituasi) yang diselenggarakan oleh sekolah, mampu untuk menguatkan karakter nasionalisme peserta didik. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pekerjaan pembantu rumah tangga mirip dengan imej tentang “jongos” yang harus mengabdikan diri sepenuhnya kepada majikan. Pembantu rumah tangga, dengan demikian, merupakan pekerjaan yang rentan terhadap pelanggaran hak-hak pekerja. Namun hal ini tidak mengurangi ketertarikan para wanita dengan latar pendidikan yang rendah untuk terlibat dalam sektor kerja tersebut dikarenakan ianya tidak memerlukan kemampuan khusus dan modal uang. Selain itu, kesempatan untuk masuk dalam sektor ini juga terbuka luas seiring dengan perkembangan peran ganda wanita dan ketersediaan agen penyalur pembantu rumah tangga. Agen ini idealnya berpartisipasi dalam memberikan pengetahuan dan perlindungan kepada hak-hak pembantu rumah tangga dan menciptakan komitmen untuk melaksanakan kewajiban dalam hubungan kerja dengan majikan mereka. Berdasarkan studi kasus pada Yayayasan Sosial Purna Karya di kota Bandung, ditemukan beberapa fakta social, misalnya, bahwa (1) para pembantu rumah tangga memiliki latar belakang sosial dan ekonomi yang rendah; (2) kondisi lingkungan kerja tidak mencukupi bagi keselamatan social, kesehatan, jam kerja dan penghasilan; (3) agen penyalur pembantu rumah tangga memang dirasakan ada manfaatnya; serta (4) hingga saat ini belum ada perundangan khusus yang melindungi hak pembantu rumah tangga.Kata-kata kunci: pembantu rumah tangga, agen penyalur tenaga kerja, serta hak , kewajiban dan perlindungan pekerja.   About the Authors: Kokom Komalasari, M.Pd. is a Lecturer at the Department of Civic Education FPIPS Indonesia University of Education (UPI) in Bandung. She was born in Tasikmalaya, West Java, on October 1, 1972. Abstract

ABSTRACT: The development of Civic Education cannot be isolated from globalization tendency that influences the students’ life. However, the recent fact in Indonesia is that learning is still dominated by conventional system. Thus, the implementation of learning oriented to “contextualized multiple intelligences” concept is still far away from its wish. This study aimed to describe the effect of contextual learning in Civic Education on students’ civic skills. The process of study used quantitative approach with survey method. The population of study was Junior High School students in West Java, Indonesia, taught by Civic Education teachers who had followed Competence-Based Integrated Training. The total sample was 1,004 students based on cluster, proportional, and systematic random sampling. The result of study showed that contextual learning in West Java Junior High Schools belonged to average category. The civic skills of Junior High School students in West Java were belonged to high category. There was significant effect of contextual learning on students’ civic skills, which was shown with correlation by 0.48 and contribution by 23%. Therefore, teachers should apply contextual learning, the government should develop effective training system to improve the teachers’ competence in contextual learning and teacher education institution  should develop innovation of learning model involving school.
