Abstract

Telah dibuat dan dikarakterisasi suatu elektroda selektif ion (ESI) kromat tipe kawat terlapis. Komposisi optimum membran didapatkan dari campuran kitosan, alikuot 336-kromat, polivinilklorida (PVC) dan dioktilftalat (DOP) sebagai plasticizer dengan perbandingan 4:0,5:35:60,5 (% b/b) dalam pelarut THF (1:3 b/v). Penambahan alikuot 336-kromat dalam membran dengan bahan aktif kitosan dapat meningkatkan konduktivitas membran sehingga dapat menghasilkan karakter sifat dasar. Karakteristik dasar elektrode selektif ion kromat memberikan karakteristik optimum dengan faktor Nernst 29,77 mV/dek, rentang konsentrasi linier 10-6–10-1 M, waktu respon 40 detik, batas deteksi 1,95 x 10-6 M, usia pemakaian 49 hari.Kata Kunci: elektroda selektif ion (ESI) tipe kawat terlapis, ion kromat, kitosan, alikuot 336-kromat

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas penentuan Customer Requirement, Design Requirement  dalam House of Quality  yang dilakukan pada perancangan produk skateboard. Skateboard merupakan salah satu olahraga ekstrim di dunia dan dapat digunakan oleh setiap orang dari berbagai kalangan baik dilihat dari segi usia, jenis kelamin, maupun berapa lama mereka menggunakan skateboard. Pada umumnya, pengguna skateboard dapat dikategorikan kedalam dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama yaitu para skaters yang benar- benar mendalami olahraga skateboard, sehingga mereka mengambil jalur profesional dalam  olahraga ini. Kelompok yang kedua yaitu para skaters yang menggunakan skateboard sebagai sarana hobi. Oleh karena itu perancangan skateboard menjadi penting agar dapat memenuhi tuntutan konsumen.  Kata kunci : House of Quality, Customer Requirement, Design Requirement

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop valid, practical, and effective guided inquiry teaching set to improve the students’ achievement on the course of Analytical Chemistry in Muhammadiyah University. The researcher applied Thiagarajan 3-D model; define, design, and develop. The sample of this research was obtained by purposive sampling resulted in 7 students as the try out sample and 16 students as the main test sample. The data was collected by measurement, and indirect observation. The instruments of this research were pre-test and post-test questions, observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The findings of this research showed that the validity of the teaching set was given the score 1,00 by expert; the practicality of the teaching set from the students’ responses was given the score 75,60 and 82,46; the students’ achievement after utilizing the guided inquiry based teaching set showed that 81,25% fulfill the criteria of completeness. For that reason, the guided inquiry based teaching set developed in this research is suitable to be used in the teaching and learning process. Keywords: Guided inquiry, chromatography, the development of a teaching set

Abstract

A coated-wire ion selective electrode (CWISE) based on chitosan as a carrier for detection of chromate, was developed. CWISE has easy measurement for field analysis, good selectivity and sensitivity. The CWISE’s membrane consist of mixture an active material of chitosan, aliquat 336-chromate, polyvinylchloride (PVC) and dioctylphtalate (DOP) as plasticizer = 4:0.5:35:60.5 (% w/w) dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent (1:3 w/v). The electrode exhibited a good Nernstian slope of 29.77±0.03 mV/decade and a linear concentration range from 10-6 to 10-1 M for chromate. The limit of detection was 1.862 x 10-6 M. It had response time of 20 – 40 sec, and could be used for 49 days. This chromate selective-electrode was found more selective towards the chromate ion than other anions, useable in pH range of 5.0 – 9.0 and temperature of 20 – 50 oC. It was applied as an electrode for direct determination of chromate in water samples and their result compared to standard spectrophotometric method.

Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of financial ratio consisting of current ratio, cash ratio, quick ratio, and net working capital toward Dividend Payout Ratio in manufacturing companies that is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange over period 2009-2011. In sample, the study using purposive sampling method. Based on the criteria established by the research, the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange was selected as the study observatios is 14 manufacturing companies. Data collection methods used in this study is secondary data data analysis techniques used is the multiple linear regression analysis. The research concludes that quick ratio give significantly effect on dividend payout ratio. And the other variables which is current ratio, cash ratio and net working capital are not significant to dividend payout ratio. Stimulatingly the Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Quick Ratio and Net Working Capital have significant influence to Dividend Payout Ratio, it proved by sig-F value lower than 5% significances.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar dan keterampilan sosial siswa diduga karena model pembelajaran yang diterapkan disekolah masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang belum mampu melibatkan siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, sehingga dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) hasil belajar, (3) keterampilan sosial, (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I dan II berkategori sangat baik yaitu 85,2% dan 89,36%,  (2) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa siklus I  sebesar 66,66% (tidak tuntas), dan  siklus II sebesar 80,95% (tuntas), (3) keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I sebesar 82,81% dan siklus II 84,68% dengan kategori sangat berhasil, (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran adalah baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IX A SMPN 17 Banjarmasin pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis.

Abstract

Maternal mortality rate in Indonesia based on 2012 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey is 359 per 100,000 live births. Causes of the maternal mortality are still dominated by bleeding, preeclampsia/eclampsia and infections. One of causes of infections is premature rupture of membrane (PROM). PROM may increase morbidity and mortality among mothers and children. Incidence of PROM is amount 10.7% of all childbirths. This study aimed to analyze risk factors of PROM incidence at Mother and Child Hospital of ANNISACiteureup, Bogor District in 2014. This study was analytical study using case control design. Samples consisted of case as many as 114 mothers who suffered from PROM and control as many as 228 mothers who did not suffer from PROM. Results of study showed that risk factors of PROM were age, parity, education. Based on multivariate analysis, education was the most dominant risk factor toward PROM incidence.AbstrakAngka kematian ibu di Indonesia berdasarkan Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2012 sebanyak 359 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup. Penyebab kematian ibu tersebut masih didominasi oleh pendarahan, pre-eklampsia/eklampsia, dan infeksi. Salah satu penyebab infeksi adalah ketuban pecah dini (KPD). KPD dapat meningkatkan morbiditas dan mortalitas pada ibu dan anak. Insiden kejadian KPD sekitar 10,7% dari seluruh persalinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian KPD di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) ANNISA Citeureup, Kabupaten Bogor tahun 2014. Penelitianini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan penelitian kasus kontrol. Sampel terdiri dari 114 orang kasus ibu yang mengalami KPD dan kontrol sebanyak 228 ibu bersalin yang tidak mengalami KPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor risiko terhadap kejadian KPD yaitu usia, paritas, pendidikan. Berdasarkan analisis multivariat, didapatkan faktor yang paling dominan berisiko terhadap kejadian KPD yaitu pendidikan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe importance of improving the quality of teaching is creating new innovations in designing new learning system so that students become more enthusiastic and motivated to achieve the expected learning outcomes. One way to measure the extent of improvement of the quality of learning is to develop assessment instruments that can be used to assess student learning outcomes. A proper assessment plays an important role in improving learning outcomes and in appreciation of the efforts made by learners. This study aimed to develop cognitive assessment instrument in School Chemistry I course for fourth semester students of chemistry education. Design and development of assessment instruments followed the 4D model, but only reached the stage of develop. Validity test of cognitive assessment instrument which was based on format suitability and display quality was tested to five experts. The results showed that cognitive assessment instrument had a valid level of validity and reliability value of 0.758. So cognitive assessment instrument developed already meet the criteria as a matter of quality and can be used as a test in the subject of School Chemistry I. Keywords: cognitive assessment instrument, School Chemistry I, Development ABSTRAK Pentingnya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran menuntut para pendidik menciptakan inovasi baru dalam merancang sistem pembelajaran baru agar peserta didik menjadi lebih semangat dan termotivasi sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran adalah dengan membuat instrumen penilaian yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar siswa. Penilaian yang tepat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sebagai penghargaan atas usaha yang telah dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan dan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian kognitif pada mata kuliah kimia sekolah untuk mahasiswa pendidikan kimia semester IV. Uji kelayakan instrumen penilaian kognitif ini didasarkan pada komponen kesesuaian format penilaian dan kualitas tampilan instrumen. Desain pengembangan instrumen penilaian ini mengikuti model 4D,  tetapi hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Subjek penilai kualitas instrumen terdiri dari 5 orang ahli. Hasil penelitian pengembangan instrumen penilaian kognitif ini mempunyai tingkat validitas yang valid dan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,758. Jadi instrumen penilaian kognitif yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria sebagai soal yang berkualitas dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat tes pada mata kuliah Kimia Sekolah I. Kata kunci:  instrumen penilaian kognitif, kimia sekolah, pengembangan

Abstract

The problematic issue of water shortages is always happens in dry season because of rainwater absorption in the peat soil which dominates most of the Borneo region especially Rantau Panjang subdistrict. The river water around peatlands area has typical smell, colour, and taste. Peat water has to be processed rightly before it is used to fulfill domestic needs. Therefore, there should be an effort to process the peat water appropriately through counseling and training in producing simple water purifier which is easy to operate. This dedication on the training in producing water purifier was conducted at Sebawi district in Sambas regency. There were 24 residents of Rantau Panjang subdistricts attended this training. The training began with the counseling in how to produce water purifier. The counseling aimed at transferring knowledge of the importance of clean water for the residents of Rantau Panjang subdistrict. The next activity was the training in producing water purifiers from simply and locally available materials. In this activity, the participants were given opportunity to practice producing water purifier. The participants were so enthusiastic in this training. Keywords: training, producing, water purifier equipment.

Abstract

The background of this research is lack of student’s learning to the tenth grade students of SMA Adisucipto Sungai Raya, due to the less of student’s comprehension especially about concept of compound hydrocarbon system. Therefore, it was needed the method of learning to increase the student’s comprehension about appropriate concept with characteristic both of the subject and student. The aim of this research was to know the differences of student’s learning and the increasement of student’s learning by using cooperative learning method type RTE in chapter of compound hydrocarbon system with couple card. The kind of this research was Pre-Experimental one group pre-test and post-test design research with subjects of this research were thirteen students from grade XI IPA of SMA Adisucipto Sungai Raya. The technique and the instrument to collect the data was using student’s learning test, observation, and interview. The result of data analysis showed the mean score of pre-test was 27,21 and the mean score of post-test was 75,86. The statistic result of Wilcoxon showed that the score was 0,01 less than α (0,01 < 0,05) that mean there were the differences of student’s learning and the influence of student’s learning by using cooperative learning method type RTE with couple card. The increasement of student’s learning was known by counting the gain score of 0,66 in medium score categorize. In this case, the cooperative learning method type RTE with couple card can be used in chapter of compound hydrocarbon system to increase the student’s learning.Keywords: Couple Card, Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), Compound Hydrocarbon System
