Abstract

Kualitas  dan  harga  merupakan  dua  hal  yang  saling  berkaitan satu  sama  lain. Peningkatan kualitas  suatu produk akan menambah  biaya  yang  akan dibebankan  pada harga  jual  dari  produk  bersangkutan.  Hal  ini  menjadi  penting  untuk  merencanakan perbaikan  desain  produk  KAFO  (Knee  Ankle  Foot  Orthosis)  dalam  usaha  mencapai keberhasilan  produk  bagi  pengguna.  Kondisi  ini  juga  membawa  kepada  kreatifitas perancangan dan ketersediaan informasi mengenai tingkat utilitas konsumen dari produk yang digunakan. FAST  method  adalah  metodologi  yang  secara  lengkap  digunakan  untuk  mengidentifikasikan  yang  berkaitan  dengan  faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi  biaya  maupun usaha  dalam  membangun  suatu  produk,  proses  ataupun  pelayanan  untuk  mencapai keseimbangan  fungsional  antara  biaya,  kehandalan  dan  performasi.  Keseimbangan fungsional  ini  dicapai  melalui  pembangkitan  alternatif  dari beberapa  ide.  Ide-ide  yang berpotensi  dalam  peningkatan  performansi  dievaluasi  melalui  Analisa  Hirarki  Proses dan ide-ide  yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan  perancangan  dikeluarkan  setelah melalui mekanisme team pakar dalam pemberi an nilai desain alternatif. Dalam pembahasan  ini terdapat lima tahap  kerja,  yang mana  implementasi  ke lima tahap kerja tersebut saling mendukung satu dengan lainnya secara sistematis. Lima tahap  kerja  tersebut  dikenal  dengan  rencana  kerja  lima  fase  yang  meliputi  tahap informasi,  tahap  kreatif,  tahap  analisa,  tahap  perkembangan,  dan  tahap  presentasi. Analisa hirarki proses berada pada tahap perkembangan produk, dan keseluruhan tahap ini  disebut  juga  sebagai  rekayasa  nilai,  team  yang  diikutsertakan  meliputi  beberapa disiplin ilmu yang sudah dikenal dalam menangani rekayasa produk KAFO Kata kunci: Rekayasa nilai, Metode FAST, Analisa Hirarki Proses.   Quality and price are two things that are related to each other. Improving the quality of a product will increase the costs to be charged on the selling price of the product concerned. It is important to plan the improvement of product design KAFO (Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis) in an effort to achieve success for new products to users. This condition also leads to creative design and availability of information regarding the level of consumer utility of the products used. FAST method is a complete methodology used to identify related factors that affect the cost and effort in building a product, process or service to achieve a functional balance between cost, reliability and performasi. Functional balance is achieved through the generation of several alternative ideas. The ideas that have the potential in improving performance is evaluated through analysis Hierarchy Process and ideas that do not meet the design requirements issued after a team of experts in the mechanism of giving an alternative design value. In this discussion there are five stages of labor, which is the implementation of the five stages of this work support each other systematically. Five stages of the work is known for its five-phase plan that includes the information stage, the creative stage, the analysis stage, developmental stage, and stage presentations. Hierarchy analysis process at the stage of product development, and the whole stage is also called value engineering, which included team includes several disciplines that are well known in handling engineering products KAFO Key words: value engineering, FAST Method, Analysis Hierarchy Process.

Abstract

Pejagoan district is an outskirt near the central administration of Kebumen Regency. This position causes some people prefer to go to city for schooling. This condition becomes one of the factors for decreasing number of students that apply to Pejagoan district. Many schools lacks of students. Kebumen Regency education department has a plan to reduce some schools that do not fulfill the criteria of minimum number of students. Determining ideal location and number of schools has to be appropriate in order to does not cause problems in the future. In this study, the determining of location and the number of school in Pejagoan district are conducted by identifying the location and the distance of students’ house to the location of current elementary schools that considered as candidate locations. The school locations and optimum number of school are determined by using three models, p-center, p-median, and maximal covering model. These are conducted to identify the performance of each model and compare all of them. The calculation result concluded that p-median model is the most appropriate model to solve the problem. The optimum number of school is 26 and the average distance of students to the nearest school is 215.98 meters with deviation standard 138.08 meters, and the furthest distance is 1229.3 meters.

Abstract

Emergency handling involves two main components, pre hospitals and hospital phase. One of the pre hospital phases is a mobilization (transportation) of patients to an emergency or intensive care unit (ICU) location. The mobilization system is usually begun with a selection of the nearest referral ICU location. This study developed an approach to select and generate a route to an ICU based on minimum travel time estimation. The travel time estimation considered the mileage, road conditions, and crowd of road. The route is generated by geographical information systems application and it is represented in a website which can be accessed by a cellular phone

Abstract

Salah satu proses produksi shuttle cock yang kritis dalam arti dapat mempengaruhi kualitas produk adalah pada waktu pemotongan bulu ayam. Hal ini dikarenakan bentuk bulu hasil potongan dapat mempengaruhi bentuk cock itu sendiri. Selama ini pemotongan bulu ayam untuk produk cock dilakukan secara manual dengan bantuan alat gunting satu persatu sehingga hasil yang diperoleh sangat lambat dan memiliki bentuk cenderung beragam. karena itu pengusaha industri kecil memerlukan alat bantu pemotong bulu yang dapat digerakkan secara manual. Kegiatan ini mencoba membuat alat potong yang dapat membantu proses pemotongan bulu. Nilai tambah dari alat yang digunakan adalah adanya alat pemanas untuk membantu proses pemotongan bulu. Dengan alat pemanas ini bentuk potongan menjadi lebih rapi, dan dapat memotong tiga hingga lima buah bulu ayam.

Abstract

In this paper we developed performance measurement system in UTDC PMI Surakarta. We used Integrated Performance Measurement System (IPMS) methodology which based on stackeholder’s requirement, to design the measurement system. From the design process, it can be identified 8 stakeholders, and based on stakeholder’s requirements, it can be obtained 27 requirements and 7 objectives. Furthermore, we developed 19 key performance indicators (KPIs) which can be classified into 6 aspects, including donor, human resources, blood preparation, output, administration, and control and evaluation.Finally, we conducted Analythic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to weight the all aspects and KPIs. It was found that human resources(0.435) was most importance aspect and employee’s performance achievement (0.24) became most importance indicator among them.

Abstract

This reserach proposes an integer linear programming model for the allocation of municipal solid waste to the optimal transfer station. This model involves trade-off between two kind of transportation cost, that is transportation cost from village to trasfer station and cost from transfer station to landfill/treatment center. Branch-and-bound method is used to find optimum decision, which transfer station should serve which village.This model is applied to city of Surakarta that consist of 596 village and 62 transfer stations. From analysis we know that this model can reduce total transportation cost per day by 5,38% and balances the accumulated waste in all trasfer station

Abstract

Plasa Telkom Solo is a service place belonging to Telkom which is provided to serve Telkom customer with nine service servers. Those nine services servers can handle new setting and mutation, complains, information, and cash payment and non cash payment. Queue in the scale of customer service is important to be considered because the long queue will make the customer uncomfortable. The queue happens because the need of service is bigger than the capacity of service. Therefore, the customer cannot be served immediately because the busy service. This research is conducted to analyze the queue system to find the best number of the server and service system in Plasa Telkom Solo. This research uses simulation method to find the best solution for the company to decide the number of the servers. Thesimulation model is used because this model can give solution if analytic model is failed to do that. Analytic model cannot be used in this research since in Plasa Telkom Solo there are four kinds of service with different approximate time service.Based on the research, the best numbers of server is seven. Meanwhile, the service system model are combining service 1 (new setting and mutation) and service 2 (complain) with the number of server 5 and service 3 (information) combines with service 4 (cash payment and non cash payment) with number of server is 2. This model can reduce the queue time for 21,7325 minutes (before the simulation) to be 17,8694 minutes (after simulation). The time difference is 3.8631 minutes with utilization 0,8996 (89,96%) or 458,796 minutes (7,65 hours) per day and the free time for the server is 0,1004 (10,04%) atau 51,2040 minutes (0,85 hours) per day, in which per day there is 8,5 work time.

Abstract

To face globalization era that led to a more competitive, a higher education institution need to set up a strategic management system in order to develop its organization performance to survive and winning the competition. To set up strategic management, the institution must exactly recognize the performance level of it’s organization. That’s why the performance measurement system to help the organization enhance its performance is needed.XYZ college as a higher institution, wants to improve it’s performance by developing a management system to evaluate the current implemented strategy. The balanced scorecard approach as one of performance measurement method by integrating financial and non financial measures is used to design the the performance measurement system in this research. The balanced scorecard design of XYZ college constructed by considering the model from BAN, Competitive Funding Scheme, and the result from other researches. To accommodate the vision, mision, and objective of the XYZ institusion, this research involved thirthteen respondent who are executives management that consist of: Director; director assistant, and department chairmans. After the performance measurement system designed using balanced scorecard method, the weight of each perspectives, objective criterias, and performance indicators then calculated using AHP method. Next, performance level of institusion represented by 1-10 scale based on OMAX. This research present the XYZ College performance measurement result of 2004 and proposes strategic suggestion to enhance the institution performance.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara agraris yang memiliki hasil pertanian yang potensial berupa kedelai. Salah satu hasil olahan kedelai adalah tahu. Di Kabupaten Sukoharjo, salah satu sentra produksi tahu berada di Desa Wirogunan Kecamatan Kartasura. Berdasarkan kondisi lapangan, pengrajin tahu di Desa Wirogunan belum mengolah limbah cair hasil produksinya. Menurut Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah Nomor 5 Tahun 2012 pasal 8, setiap penanggung jawab usaha dan/atau kegiatan yang membuang air limbah ke lingkungan wajib melakukan pengolahan air limbah yang dibuang agar memenuhi baku mutu air limbah. Atas dasar permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan pembangunan instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL) komunal untuk menangani air limbah yang mencemari lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memilih lokasi IPAL komunal terbaik berdasarkan pertimbangan multikriteria. Langkah awal adalah melakukan studi literatur untuk menghimpun kriteria-kriteria, kemudian disesuaikan dengan kondisi lapangan berdasarkan pendapat ahli. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kriteria teknis, non teknis, dan sosial . Langkah kedua adalah pemilihan lokasi terbaik menjadi menggunakan metode Fuzzy TOPSIS. Hasilnya terpilih satu lokasi pembanguan IPAL komunal terbaik yang dilihat berdasarkan nilai preferensi terbesar. Diharapkan untuk studi ke depan dapat menambahkan beberapa kriteria yang dapat mendukung pemilihan lokasi IPAL komunal terbaik, serta melakukan pengembangan penelitian dengan mengaplikasikan metode lain.Kata kunci: fuzzy TOPSIS, industri tahu, lokasi IPAL,multikriteria

Abstract

PT. IKAD is a company that produces ceramic tile. Quality decreasing is occurred on some Critical To Quality (CTQ) in a part of kiln. Kiln process itself was the last process and the most vital in determining final output of ceramic tile. Realizing the importance to the quality of kiln process, hence needed a problem solving method to improve and control process which taking place in Department Plant 3 so the amount ofdefect product can be minimized to achieve zero defect. The method to solve the problem is Six Sigma method that consist of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) phase. DMAIC phase begins with identifying customer needs to determine priority ofCTQ. Then measuring the sigma level, stability and process capability ofpriority CTQ. On the analyze phase, cause effect diagram is used to find failure cause analysis of CTQ, and then Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA) tool is used to analyze the failure. On the final phase, improvement plan and process control act is done for company. The result ofthis research from Define phase is dash away as the priority ofCTQ. On the Measure phase known that sigma level in the month of January 2006 equal to 3,46 sigma and decrease to 3,24 sigma in Februari 2006. At that both period, process condition is not stable but capable enough if seen from Cp and Cpk value. On the Analyze phase is obtained the information that many factors like process or method, man, material, measurement, mother-nature, also machine and equipments are supposed causing instability and incapability of kiln process. Improve suggestions for managerial and technical side are given and Control suggestions to guarantee the quality of kiln process are also given on the Improve and Control phase.
